my Cephalotus finally has big enough pitchers for me to feed her her first meal!! i gave her a dead fly I chopped into little bite sized pieces and put in the pitchers with tweezers, and a droplet of distilled water in each to help stimulate her digestive glands!! she's getting so big guys omg

#I still need to contact the greenhouse manager at my college about her #bc she needs a proper winter dormancy in a few months and I don't have what she needs in my dorm #temp and light changes are integral to triggering and maintaining dormancy #and the window in my room is right above a heater....#also I change pronouns for my plants every 3 seconds bc it doesn't really matter #usually she he or they #cephalotus follicuarus #carnivorous plants
