I realized I never shared my self ship family portrait. It's so cute! So introducing the extend self ship family Me, Keigo, Keiko (5),and Reiko (3).

My lovely friend and amazing artist Tuna Teluna did this one for me. (be aware if you visit here Twitter her stuff is usually NSFW)

I will have to write something up later about this but the general idea is that Keigo never did family pictures growing up. So he wanted a cute and professional one done with the kids.

I'm gonna talk about my colony cause this was basically the only game I played this month and they deserve it

The Colony of Gaynor, lasted for about 365 in game days.

The Teluna Clan and the Tomboy Clan were basically the main characters of the colony.

Teluna was one of my original colonists, along with the late Dezaight. They were married, but Dezaight was at the age in game where he was considered old. He built most of the starting colony, before a combo of his old age and an infection in his leg ended up being the end of him.

Around the time the Empire reached out for aid with the psylink reward, so I accepted with Teluna. She ended up having access to the Archotechnist tree (using Psycasts expanded), and she eventually gained the ability to psychic shock people at will, and she could drive whole groups of people into a killing frenzy (which she did multiple times and it made everyone around us hate us, tough times for the colony)

Eventually a kid joined the colony, who was Tomboy, followed shortly by Miñoca. Tomboy was a Hussar, and Miñoca had the brawler trait, so I basically played matchmaker to get them together. They had several kids over the colonies lifespan, being Baby, Pecs, and Seva. Seva was only born about a year before the ship left, but Baby and Pecs were both at fighting age (Tomboy also has a 4th on the way). Tomboy, Miñoca, Pecs, and Baby basically single handedly defended the colony on the final day of the raid. The four of them held the raiders at the door to the hanger as they all boarded the ship. They all survived, but Pecs lost a leg and had to be carried to the ship with no time for tending due to another raid already entering the base.

Mills gets a special mention too. He is Teluna's brother and joined up with us basically right after Dezaight died. He used his smarts to become a mechinator to bother help build the colony/support his grieving sister (who was my plant grower at the time and she kept having mental breaks so I got some agrihands). I had never really messed with the mechinator stuff before and wasn't thrilled with how it controlled, so Mills basically became my main crafter (made a few masterwork weapons for the Tomboy Clan, and a legendary minigun/masterwork gunlink for Losmespos).

I originally wanted to do an Anomoly focused playthrough (since the thing to start it was in a great spot), but the story just never ended up going that way.

Feel like I learned more about the game in this one Colony than I have in the 425ish hours I had played before starting it, but also dunno how often I'll go for the ship ending? I took a LONG TIME. >.>

Anyway, goodbye Gaynor, it was fun o7

What we need to realise here is that the playing field isn't level. Not one bit.
