because I LOV3D her
'I shouldn't miss her today,' the thought crossed his mind as he quickly got up, folding his blanket and gently placing it besides her mother, grabs a bucket; soap and towel and heads outside for a quick bath. Rushes back in and in a haste, throws on a shirt with the tie dunked, then trousers and quickly buckles his shoes while lunging for his backpack. 'Barely ate anything, it hurts what it does to my stomach,' at the thought, he reaches for a sleeve of his mother's blouse sticking out of a door less wardrobe, turns it inside out and wipes his teeth clean, glances himself on a shard and shoves it back under his clothes. "Now going," he calls to his mother Be careful," She replies slightly turning her head, glancing at him before her body went limb. Jack leaves closing the door behind him while she took her last breathe. Jack rushes back in, darts over to his pillow, and grabs the open book off the floor and the pen and picking up a textbook by the spine dashes out. "Forgot something," he says, on his way thinking his mom might have just smiled as usual musing over his forgetfulness. He's walking as fast as he can, through the dusty road, slowing at the thought of whether he's ready to tell her this. Silence shadows him broke by treads and the nagging rumbling of his stomach. Stopping to dust his shoes and straighten invisible creases, from the peripherals of his eyes he could see her petite figure leaning against the bus stop post. With the hopes of beating about the bush before the bus arrives he saunters towards her. The more he got closer the higher his nerves wreck and his heartbeat cloud his ears. "Hey hi" he says, holding on to the belts of his backpack with a nervous smile stopping to stand beside her "Hey, you again, how are you?" She lights up turning to him with her mind numbing smile. "Good, you?" he replies "Great, so taking the uh... bus today?" She asks with a shy smile. Unsettled at the reminder that he has no much time before the bus gets to where they are and she'll get to leave before he says what he wants to tell her. 'Maybe will just do this tomorrow then,' a voice whispers in his head but her smile just baffles him. "Ah, no" glancing in the direction of the bus. 'No, should probably just go, but how can I, urgh debating in his mind. "Ey can we.., do you mind walking to school today, today he says, with a sheepish smile while scratching the back of his head. Feeling like a bird, having been trapped in a cage all her life and there he stood opening the little door and asking through her eyes if she wants to fly away. The bus gets to where they are, the automatic door opens right before his eyes, stripped off all hope he hastily stares right through her light brown eyes as they displayed different emotions he void no read. Soaked in mixture of emotions but all apparently unladylike, she calms herself down, shakes her head no to the driver who was looking at her with hands on the stirring, and in a soothing voice, "Ok, what are we waiting for?" They are walking down the side of the road conversing joyfully, but Jack's mind somewhere else , ideas shadow his mind, and each step brought the same message, 'say it, just say it.' After hours of pondering, breaking through the conversation without a hiccup, spits it out, "Ey, can I ask you something" takes a deep breath, "I know it's kinda, it's weird, and its hard to ask of you, we barely know each other but" he suck in a long breathe. Stopping and holding onto the belts of his backpack, can hear his stomach rumbling and a fist of nerves erupting as his heart beat accelerates. While she looked into his eyes she could tell what he's all about. Thus in turn making her a tad bit nervous too regardless of all she has known in her life by the advice of her mother through the bars of the cage, not be easy to get when boys come and all her life she's never been in love and this is turning out more than she expected. With a smile she gives him an encouraging nod and blurts out the last part with a nervous grin. "Ok, the thing is, let's say you like my company today, do you promise I'll get to walk with you to school every day?" With a knowing smirk she says, "Ok, think am good with that" "And the money you were supposed to use, you give it to me, it came out of him merely as a whisper. Putting her hands in the pockets of her jacket, "So this is what all this is about?" Painting him with shame through her eyes. His smile fades away replaced by a sulky look, his heart pounding though his chest pocket as he looked everywhere but not her. "No, no, don't get me wrong, trust me it's fo... She cut him off with a smile handing him a dollar note from her pocket, "Ok, we have a deal" With a sigh of relief a huge smile spreads over his face Still holding to the dollar in Jack's palm, with a loop sided smile she adds, "To and from?" Grinning like an idiot he replies with a slight salute, Yes maam" "And you looking great" he adds on with a genuine smile that reaches his eyes. She was willing to give anything for someone to just talk to, and he needed money for his sick mother.
