And your reaction makes me go back to, no you're right it should be a comedy! 😂
They can not pull off being teenagers, because even if they're frozen in mind, they came from a time where the way teenagers acted was different. Maybe Emmet seems the youngest of a more modern world then the rest? So he might free the best shot, because he had that mentality. It doesn't work though, they're all frigging weird.
Twilight was never about oh wow vampires, because it was most of all: you need to admire them! Look how pretty and well educated they are, in their fancy clothes and cars. But also fear them because they say so, but also not really because they're good.
It's a comedy drama! Or a comedy romance?
Yes yes yes!! Carlisle seems to truly want to hold onto humanity, not just for himself but because he thinks people matter. It's not just redemption or something, he seems to just be a good person. He might know if he stops caring he'll slip into being a monster, but I think he also just values life and likes the people around him. The rest of the cullens...
Rosalie mourns her lost life, emmer just follows what she wants. Alice wants to join the family, and her gift says so, jasper follows (even if he didn't really want to or has the most trouble). Esmee wants to try for Carlisle, might be neutral. Slips, tells edward to go for it should he feels the desire to, but tries to stay in line like a good wife should.
Bella, well Bella can't be bad so even if she thinks vampires are a-okay with drinking blood to be their most powerful, it is also wrong, and bella is right, so she's perfectly fine the way things are (Also hasn't so far drank any human blood (besides in pregnancy) and might not miss it because she doesn't know what she misses. We'll see how that goes after the newborn fase is over and her blood has left her body and she's weaker now. That might open a can of worms).
And we know edward! Edward is in agony of being a monster! But also wants to kill and eat people. What a monster! But also he has to stay around people! He hates people. They are boring and vain, dumb, delicious liquid he has to refrain from eating. How unfair! If only he wasn't a monster. It's really people's fault they're so tasty, but if only he was good enough for humanity even if he despises them.
Everything you said in the last part! Everything! Just go live life! You're dead, why go to school? Why study the same subject every 5 years? Why surround yourself with your favorite food, knowing you can't always control yourself. Why bring jasper of all people in a food factory! Go hang our at a private beach, the desert, anything. Cover yourself in foundation and go travel the world. Stay at a cabin for all I care.
Carlisle is the only thing holding them together, and their need to not think of themselves as monsters. While thinking it makes them better than the other vamps, but also better than humans... so Carlisle cares about the world and the rest of them care about themselves.
And it's all so we don't think bella is a horrible person to fall for edward. Edward could've displayed all his shitty and creepy thoughts and lets face it bella would still fall for him, mainly at first because he's pretty and later because he dangles the carrot of being not-bella in front of her. How can she resist?
Tumblr media
Oh that's a good one, ghouls. The thought I had was, they are dead even if they are living, they're decaying. I am also more thinking back of old stories and info where they talk about origins and stuff and where vampires had rotten teeth sometimes even losing them and they were basically rotten corpses. Just imagine the cullens appearing in forks like that. Bella would be out of that town in no time. "Thanks i'll keep my shitty life, at least my skin stays on my body, old or not!"
Edward acting bella smells that first time they meet, Bella just throws him a look, like really buddy? You're one to talk!
Make them weird!
The idea of decomposing edward trying to woo bella and the cullens desperately trying to act human sounds hilarious to me.
ppl like to tease edward for being a sensitive sadboi who plays the piano, but let's take a moment to appreciate that he never brought bella up to his room and pulled out an acoustic guitar. i would rather get my tears ate.

Ooh if you're still doing Twilight origin story; Just surprise me using the vibes from my blog 😂
Hiii!!! Thanks for asking!! I think these are just SO fun!
Hands down, you're a newer vampire. I'm talking like you were changed in 2017. You were driving home from a friend's house late one night when you were struck by an oncoming driver. An ancient, supposedly controlled vampire was passing through and heard the collision -- he thought he could help. But upon reaching the scene, he found the other driver dead and bleeding profusely and couldn't help himself. He drained the other driver without a second thought.
You were hurt badly and, while not unconscious yet, you were going to pass out any second. But not before you saw the impossible -- someone drinking the other driver's blood. You tried to scream, to get away, but you were trapped in the vehicle.
Your struggle drew the other vampire's attention. He locked eyes with you -- his, a bright, crimson red, the blood dribbling down his chin. He saw your fear, your pain, your fight to stay alive, and something resonated with him. As old as he was, it had been a long time since he saw this emotion, something he now knew, was passion. It hurt him deeply to think he would kill you, or allow you to pass from your surely fatal injuries, and take that passion from the world.
So he steeled himself, forced himself to hold on to every ounce of control he had, and bit you.
When you woke up, you were angry. That only solidified the vampire's confidence in his decision though -- regardless of the connotation of your passion, he was pleased that the world still had you, your spark. It took some time, but eventually you began to see your creator as a companion, and you traveled together for about 24 months.
You began to get bored, though, and finally decided to explore what this world has to offer. You soak in all that you can -- concerts (from a distance, of course), museums and art galleries (after they are closed), ancient ruins (who's gonna see you there?). And, though you're still getting used to the vastness of this new life, you're excited for whatever the future may hold.

Tumblr media
(GIF isn’t mine, let me know if it’s yours)
AT EIGHT YEARS old you first met Pope Heyward. The concept of Outer Banks at such a young age seemed like a dream for you. Never ending beaches. Hot weather practically all the time. Surfing and swimming at your beck and call. It was a stark change from living in Minnesota.
The house you moved into was a small two story house next to one almost identical. And the day you had moved in a boy came knocking at the door. He seemed around your age and held a pie dish in his hands seemingly quite nervous. Your parents were upstairs unpacking so you opened the door hoping maybe you could make a friend.
"My mum made me bring this pie for you since we’re neighbours, here you go." He kept his eyes trained on the ground then handing you the pie and scurrying back home before you could even take a breath. Your face dropped as he ran off but you felt determined to make him a friend, after all you were neighbours so how hard could it be since you'd see him almost all the time.
A few days later your mum wanted to buy some groceries rather than living off of takeaway food for any longer and opted for going to Heywards shop. Which ended up being your neighbours store.
You wandered through the store while your mum chatted with Heyward and eventually stumbled upon the boy who ran away sitting on the floor and reading a comic.
"Spider-Man's really cool." You had said sitting down next to him as his head snapping to the side suddenly looking from his marvel comic to you. It was a surprise he didn't get whiplash.
"Really? I think so too." The boy gushed about the hero while you sat listening. Then your mum called you from the front of the store and you pouted, sad you could hang out with your new friend any longer.
Then the next thing you knew the eight year old boy was dragging you both to your feet and taking you to the candy area. He handed you a chocolate bar with a cheeky grin. "Don't tell my dad."
You nodded and giggled before rushing off to your mum and looking back at your new friend happily. Your parents invited the Heywards around for weekly dinners and alternated between houses becoming good family friends which only strengthened you and Popes friendship.
After that began it was an almost daily thing for you to hang out. You and Pope were attached by the hip. You went on your bikes together. Even took kids surfing lessons together. Though Pope practically already knew how to surf since he was raised on the water.
As you grew older you would do your homework together with the Heyward boy often helping you with the subjects you struggled in while you helped him with the things he struggled with.
Eventually you offered to help with the shop to pass time and hang out with your friend and at this point the Heywards were like family to you.
When you were both ten years old Pope had the idea to make a tree house. And though not the best considering it ended up just a rickety platform balancing on branches with ladders either side of it, it still worked. The tree overhung both houses back gardens with its trunk positioned just on the edge of your garden.
You met two more goofs that year. JJ and John B. The two Js was what you called them at first. You became fast friends with their long hanging bond similar to yours with pope. You fit like a lock and a key together. However you never showed the Pogues the treehouse, it was just you and Popes little space.
You spent a lot of time up there just staring up at the stars of reading. Pope liked to talk about all his hopes and dreams while you were there and you listened.
"Y/N, do you think I’ll be able to get into a good college. Like for forensic pathology." He asked as you laid on the 'treehouse' could you even call it that.
"Pope you are the smartest person I know. So it's unlikely that you won't get into anywhere you want."
"I know it's just—I don't think my dad can afford it so I'll need to get a scholarship. There'll be be hundreds of people competing for it. I'm just a drop in the ocean to them." He ranted and you could hear the stress in his voice. This wasn't something someone as smart and determined as Pope should have to stress about was all you thought. He deserved so much while people who deserved so much less got fed with a silver spoon up in figure eight.
"They'd be dumb not to let you in. I don’t see how you wouldn’t. I have faith in you but I will also do whatever it takes to get you in. I'll pay for your tuition myself if I have to. Or I'll find some dirt on the dean and—"
"I'd rather not have my acceptance be a product of your blackmailing ways Y/N but thankyou and I'm not letting you pay for my tuition." He laughed. It was the melodic sound that rung in your ears that made you smile and turn your head away from the stars and towards him. The small lights you had hanging from the tree branches were bouncing off of his beautiful chestnut skin. His eyes were a shade of dark honey brown that simmered in the light. He was amazing in every single way.
Your fourteen year old self was starting to realise what you had been oblivious to the whole time. You would do anything for Pope. He was your ride or die. And you hoped you were his.
However when Kiara came in was when things went weird between you and Pope. She waltzed in in all her kook glory looking like a goddess. So of course you couldn't blame the boys when suddenly all their attention was on her and her beautiful brown wavy hair or golden cocoa skin that glimmered in the sunlight. You couldn't figure out whether she was just born lucky with amazing genetics or whether she was a vampire like from Twilight. Either way, Pope Heyward fell and he fell hard that year. At work he always spoke about her and it was slowly killing you inside. Every time he mentioned it you swore you heard your heart break and crack into more pieces.
You wished you could tell him. But you would be putting your friendship on the line. It would be selfish to tell him when he clearly wasn’t interested.
Instead of moping over an unattainable crush you attempted to move on. And to everyone’s surprise started flirting back with JJ. He was always shooting his shot like he did with Kie and tourons at keggers but normally you never flirted back. You thought somehow within your skewed logic it would work and you would be over Pope. Like the saying fake it till you make it. But it just bought your thoughts back to how it wasn’t Pope.
The Heyward boy started to pay more attention to it. He got a weird feeling in his stomach everytime he saw you laughing at JJs jokes and not his or just talking to each other. He stared every time you flipped your long glossy hair over your shoulder and looked flawless or would saunter off back into the chateau for a drink.
His interest turned from anyone to you within a second of a word coming from you pink lips. But you had convinced yourself he wasn't interested and you were oblivious to his newfound feelings. And so he stayed blind as he had been before to yours.
"HEY WHAT’RE YOU doing over here, lil red." JJs nickname had originated from the fact that red was your favourite colour. You had even dressed up as little red riding hood one year for Halloween which sparked the full nickname. It was sweet but in no way anything more than a friendly nickname. Although Pope begged to differ. You sat leaning against the wooden poll on the wooden floor of the dock. Your arms wrapped around your legs pulling them close to your chest giving you a sense of comfort as you stared at the sunset across the marsh.
You turned to the blond sending him a small smile before turning back to the sinking blends of fluorescent pink and oranges blurring into one beautiful mess in the sky. "Watching the sunset."
"Mind if I watch too?" He asked settling down beside you and resting his arms on his knees. You nodded. It turned away from the sky.
You heard the laugh of Pope from behind you and turned this time you turned away to look seeing Pope laughing with Kie that just sparked jealousy in your stomach. He looked so happy with her.
"So what's the deal with that?" JJ asked from beside you and you turned to him confusion splattering on your features which were orange from the light hitting of the setting sun.
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about the long glances, more like stares really and when you tell a joke you always look to Pope first. You look at him like he's the best thing in the world. Not to mention you randomly starting to flirt with me. I'm a professional ladies man. I notice these things. You’re not interested in me, it’s Pope." He blurted out and you sat rubbing a hand over your face with a sigh.
"I don’t do any of that." JJ have you a look which you shrugged at. “Look I—I did, but I don’t anymore.”
“You sure about that?” JJ kept his stare on you as you shuffled uncomfortably before sighing.
“I just wish he could just like me back, but he never will he’ll always like Kie and I don’t wanna be jealous of them cause then I’ll be a terrible friend but... I can’t help it.”
“Lil red, I know you might not believe me but I think Pope does like you. A lot. I’ve seen the way he looks at you. It’s not just some friendly look.” He places his hand on your shoulder rubbing it softly and you send him a tight lipped smile.
“Maybe he does, I doubt it though. And people say girls are complicated. You boys are just as complicated.” You teased bumping his shoulder as he let go of yours. “But anyway we’re forgetting about the most important rule ever. No pogue on pogue macking.”
JJ snorted shaking his head. “Don’t bring up that bullshit rule. I know that if anyone of you showed interest in me it would be out of the window.”
“I’m not particularly a rule breaker unlike you.”
“Rules are made to broken but you’re just boring Lil Red.” You gasped and turned to your friend.
“No I am not. Take it back.” You glared at him jokingly.
“What’re you gonna do?”
You raised your eyebrows and then pushed the boy off the dock thinking you’d suceeded for a slip second until he grabbed your shoulders and pulled you in too.
Pope watched the two of you laughing and talking for a while without you realising and then he saw you both fall in the water together laughing and looking like you belonged together. He shook his head slightly as he looked back to Kie who stared with worried eyes.
“You okay Pope?”
“Yeah, yeah I’m fine just thinking.” Kie nodded going back to talking to John B until a shout erupts and they both turned to see JJ and you in the water. Pope was already looking.
“Lil red what the fuck?” He laughed shaking off his hair while you rung your own out still looking amazing to Pope.
“You said I was boring.” You shrugged chuckling and then screeching as you were pushed back under the water.
“I’m honestly surprised they’re not together yet.” Kie laughed looking at the two other boys beside her.
“You think they like each other?” Pope asked worry pinched in his eyebrows. It was one thing for him to think it but for Kie to confirm his thoughts made his stomach churn.
“Well yeah, I mean look at them.”
Pope was looking at them. And he saw it clear as day. You and him were never going to happen.
You breathed heavily as you and JJ walked up the steps to the docks. “Hey I know what we can do to help get your mind off of Pope for a night.”
“What?”
“A kegger.”
THE PARTY HAD started two hours ago and was roaring with teens, kooks and Pogues alike hung together for one night filled with truce, beer and weed.
He had left you a few minutes before to pursue a girl of course while you sat around a bonfire staring at the embers that floated into the midnight sky. But you were still thinking about him. He was stuck in your thoughts like superglue. You'd hoped that maybe alcohol would help loosen you up and get you out of your head but being alone and drunk made it worse.
Pope stood by Kie as you sat at the fire by yourself. Now was his chance to tell you and maybe you would like him back but if you didn't then maybe it would be less embarrassing since you were drunk. However he was not drunk since he abstained from the beer despite the multitudes of parties they had. He was the designated driver type.
"I'm gonna go over to Y/N." Kiara nodded before she continued talking to a random boy that sat next to her.
He walked across the sand catching your attention as you snapped your head up to see him heading your way.
"Hey Pope."
You were surprised he left Kie.
"You looked a little lonely so I'm giving you company."
"Oh Thankyou. My saviour." You said jokingly. Taking a swig of beer you examined the boys face. It twitched with nerves as he sat next to you and fiddled with his fingers.
He looked up at you with a small smile. “Y/N, I—”
“God, girls around here really have a good left hook.” JJ groaned holding his face sitting down next to you on the log interrupting Pope who he hadn’t noticed.
Then JJ looked up to see Pope sitting there awkwardly and you almost laughing at the fact that he got punched by a girl which never happened before. “Oh shit sorry I didn’t realise...”
“Realise what?” You asked shaking your head cluelessly before you dragged yourself up. “I need another drink.”
JJ tried to stop you but before he knew it you were at the keg with him following after.
“Uh, Lil red, I think Pope might’ve been about to tell you he liked you.”
“Wait, what? Really?” You almost dropped your beer as your hands went slack in shock but you quickly gripped it tight swallowing some. Pope stared into as you had walked away from him with JJ following. Of course he was going after you because like Kie said, they liked each other. He wanted to see if he could forget, so he did something he would probably regret.
“I’m pretty sure I mean he looked like he was going to. I really need to talk to him...” The blond trailed off as he stared at something behind him.
“What is it?” You were about to turn around until JJ held your shoulders in place until your shoved them off and saw what you never wanted to see.
Pope was kissing a girl. Not Kie though. It was just a random girl who he was kissing. Your eyes burned with tears as you turned to JJ scoffing.
“Yeah he definitely likes me doesn’t he.” You choked back a sob shoving the beer into JJs hand and running off into the trees.
Pope has pulled away just in time to see it and instant regret filled his stomach.
“Pope, buddy, what did you do?” JJ asked softly as Pope looked at his walking away from the random girl who looked taken aback.
“I’m so sorry.” He apologised and she rolled her eyes walking off. “I don’t know what was going through my head, one second I was at the fire the next I was kissing a random girl.”
“Look, bro, just go find her and explain everything.”
“Yeah, I’ll—I’ll do that.”
You had walked the farthest you could from the party, still bare foot since your shoes were in the van and John B had the keys. You were leaning against a tree trunk when you decided to go to the one place that would comfort you most despite reminding you of him.
You went straight home taking 20 minutes to walk down the cold desolate roads that were dark by this time. The first thing you did was get ice cream from the freezer before making your way to the tree house and wrapping yourself in the blankets befor leaning against one of the many pillows stored there. You listened to the gentle breeze above rustling the leaves of the blooming trees and the crickets in the distance and felt the gentle swaying of the platform beneath you.
This was your comfort place. It was the only place you felt like this since it was where you created all your favourite memories with Pope Heyward. The unattainable boy who had always been by your side.
By the time Pope made it home it was completely dark but he knew exactly where you would be. He made his way to his backyard and saw your small figure and made his way up. You sat up quickly and almost burst into more tears after seeing him.
"Y/N..."
"Pope what are you doing here?" You asked as he climbed up the ladder.
"I came to check up on you..." He sighs and sits down next to you. "And I came to say that that kiss was a big mistake."
"Why—what?" You looked at the boy in confusion.
"I like you. I know we've been best friends forever and I hope this doesn't make it weird but that's the truth. I kissed the girl to see if I could forget about you which in hindsight was really stupid. And you probably hate me."
You looked at him with glossy eyes and smiled.
"Yeah that was stupid if you thought you could get over me.” You laughed which died down when you turned to him looking more serious. “But I don’t hate you. It’s not like we were dating.”
“I was thinking...we could change that.” Pope tells you and you raise your eyebrows, a growing smile on your face.
“Hmm okay. Date. This friday. On the beach. You and me?" You asked and his eyes lit up feeling slightly surprised at the forwardness.
"Isn't it supposed to be me asking you out?" He asked teasingly.
"It's the twenty first century pope get with it."
"Of course. And I would love to go on a date with you.”
“Good.” He then jumped on top of you in all your blankets and you let out a shriek. “Oh my god, Pope are you trying to simultaneously give me a heart attack and break this thing?”
“Not really, but if it happens then oh well.” He feigned nonchalance for a second breaking into a grin as you slapped his arm.
“Watch it mister. Or I’ll reconsider that date.”
“Okay, I’m sorry Y/N.”
You sighed contently as he wrapped you up in his arms, both of you under the blankets and the stars. You could definitely get used to this.
Note • In honor of simping for Pope and jd day, year, decade and century i’ve written this cause he’s a cutie and I love him. This was kinda anticlimatic but 🤷‍♀️

Hello! May I have a twilight origin story please? I am a female from the Netherlands, 22 summers young, about 5,3 ft in height, THICK and I have long brown hair and quite pale skin. I love musicals, music, singing. And I am a bisexual mess. I am not very shy, I can be very outgoing but I am a introvert at heart. :3
Hi!! Of course :) This one got a lil’ dramatic, whoops.
The year was 1332. You lived in a fishing village in the northern part of what would one day become the Netherlands. The seas were rough -- many people were lost to them every year -- and you grew up with a healthy respect for the danger. That didn’t keep you from the docks, though.
No, the docks were your favorite place on Earth! All the bustling, shouting, sea shanties, and the sheer power you could could feel from the ocean. You adored the docks. And, although you technically weren’t supposed to be there, you were a common presence.
Thanks to your outgoing nature, you easily made friends with the fishermen. They frequently brought you stories and gifts from their time traveling, and always looked forward to your enthusiastic welcome when they arrived home. In return, you often entertained them with performances of original and popular songs.
One of your best friends since childhood was a sailor. The two of you often joked about stealing a boat or finding a way to pay your passage to another land and striking out together, exploring the entire sea.
One day, you accompanied your best friend to the docks -- he was supposed to set sail that day, to be gone for two whole years. The thought of parting from him broke your heart, but you knew it was coming. All of your friends, at one point or another, left you for the sea.
You said your goodbyes and he promised to visit you when he returned. You waved, he waved, and then he stepped onto the boat, thinking he wouldn’t see you for an incredibly long time.
But he didn’t know that you had a plan.
You snuck onto the boat. You hid in a cabinet and stowed away. You figured this was for the best -- you had a large family, and winter would come in its due time. Likely, they wouldn’t be able to afford to adequately feed you all, so you were just lightening the load for them. Besides, you were well-liked on the docks. Though women supposedly weren’t allowed on the boats, surely they would make an exception for you.
You couldn’t have been more wrong.
Only five days into the trip, the first mate found you, and he was furious. The captain, the crew, everyone agreed -- you couldn’t stay. There was an old fisherman’s superstition that a woman on board could lead to disaster, so the answer was clear -- you were to be thrown over.
Your best friend begged them not to. He offered to sacrifice his pay, to do all the jobs no one else wanted to do, to take a lifeboat and row the two of you away, but the sailors wouldn’t listen. They decided to throw you overboard.
Your friend drew his sword, intending to fight for your life. One of the sailors engaged him, the two exchanging blows, and your friend sliced the other sailor’s arm, drawing a gash of blood.
The fighting was over, then.
No one had known that one of the sailors was a vampire. He had intended to use the boat as a means of crossing the ocean, not being a fan of swimming himself. He had planned to hunt when the ship docked for supplies or trade, but this was too much. He’d already been five days without feeding. The minute blood was drawn, he became frenzied, massacring nearly everyone on board.
When he regained control, there were only three of you left. He decided he’d had enough of being alone and, while forcing the first mate to steer the boat, he changed you and the other who had survived the massacre. You closed your eyes against the pain, hoping desperately that the glimpse of brown hair you saw on the man screaming beside you belonged to your best friend.
By the time your transformation was done, the first mate had docked in a port in Germany (and was subsequently killed by your creator). When you opened your eyes, you had a moment of hope -- the face across from you, you recognized him!
But then you focused in.
It was not your best friend.
He had been killed by the vampire.
For that, you resented your creator with everything in you, but he wouldn’t let you leave until you had passed through the newborn phase. The second you were free, you ran all the way back to the sea and swam to the middle of the ocean.
For years, you lived that way, swimming through the ocean, exploring all the waters you and your best friend hoped to discover one day. While you swam, you sang -- your voice so haunting and alluring, it could bring sailors to their death. And it did -- sailors that followed your voice would find themselves at the bottom of the ocean, drained of blood.
To this day, sailors are still warned: beware the siren’s call.
And, though you’ve since moved on from that part of your life, choosing now to explore land and build a coven of your own, it makes you smile every time you hear that phrase. It reminds you that, though time has passed, the legacy of you and your friend lives on.

Your Twilight Origin Story
**The origin stories are currently closed, but I’ll open them up again in a little while as part of my 600 follower celebration! I just need a bit to catch up on all the wonderful requests I currently have :) Once I get to 600, I’ll open this again as well as a few other things to celebrate! See you then!
Hi everyone! These are super fun for me and you all seem to be liking them, so I thought I would put the offer out again:
Tell me about yourself and I’ll tell you your Twilight vampire origin story! You can include whatever info about yourself that you want, but if you have gender, pronoun, and/or nationality/country preferences, please let me know!
And if you’re lost at the “tell me about yourself” part (I know that always trips me up!) here are some things some other people have been including:
Personality traits, hobbies/interests, MBTI/Enneagram/Star Sign, aesthetic, home country/ancestry, goals in life, if you are interested in a romantic angle (and if so, what pronouns/gender identity should I use for them), favorite time of the year etc.
:)

If you're still doing Twilight origin stories - I'm a part-time librarian and I love learning about anything that interests me - religion, history, medicine, languages, literature... I love to run too and love following sports like gymnastics. And I like writing.
Hi, thanks for requesting! Here’s your Twilight origin story!
You’d lived in a town in France all your life. Although the town was of a moderate size, your family was the most well-off and owned a sizeable farm and apothecary and sold food and medical concoctions to yours and the neighboring towns. Your family was seen as progressive for the time and your parents encouraged your education -- you were a very curious child and even more curious as an adult. Your mind seemed to race at a speed unlike the others’, and you always had a million questions, a million things you wished to learn. This tended to set you at odds with the townsfolk and people saw you as strange but, due to your family’s stature, they often kept their mouths shut.
You could typically be found working in the apothecary or helping to stock your family’s large personal library -- the most well-kept and extensive of anyone’s in town. You’d read everything you could get your hands on and would ask questions to anyone who would converse with you. Though, due to your ‘strangeness,’ people didn’t normally talk to you for long.
In your loneliness, you often wandered the streets of your town at all hours of the night. Your mind would race, filled with curiosities and ideas and no one to speak about them with.
In the autumn of 1741, people started to go missing.
First it was just a beggar or two, and no one batted an eye. But then, the son of the blacksmith took an errand to deliver a set of horseshoes and never returned.
The town flew into a panic.
Your family knew about your nighttime strolls and asked that you discontinue them for the time being, concerned for your safety. But you saw no reason to stop. Your walks, while solitary, did good for your racing mind -- you could not sleep otherwise. For the sake of your family, you tried to avoid your walks, but still, night after night, you found yourself climbing out your window and onto the grass and cobblestone below.
Besides, everyone who went missing lived on the other side of town.
You thought you would be safe.
You wandered the streets, allowing the cool night air and the bright, full moon to distract from your racing thoughts and endless questions. It had rained during the day, and the cobblestone was still wet, the droplets shining in the moonlight. You turned a corner--
--and stopped short.
On the ground lay a man -- one of the butchers in town. He was limp and seemed unconcerned with the man lying on top of him. The man’s teeth were buried in the butcher’s neck.
You froze, body made immobile by shock.
Slowly, the man looked up at you, what seemed like blood dribbling down his chin. He was pale -- paler even than the dead man on the ground -- and his eyes were a frightening, unnatural shade.
A slow, pleasantly surprised smile spread across his face as he regarded you. ‘You are lucky,’ he said, slowly coming to stand. ‘Had I not possessed such strong control, you would have been killed instantly.’
He came to his full height then, and began to stalk towards you, and fear shot through your heart.
He seemed unconcerned and took his time as he walked towards you, tilting his head in a conversational way. He introduced himself as Felix, asked for your name, and inquired as to why you were walking unaccompanied in the dark, especially with all the people going missing.
Something -- maybe the fear, maybe Felix himself, maybe deeply-buried reserves of courage, you didn’t know -- but something made you speak with honestly. You told him that your mind raced with a million unanswered questions, with so many things to learn, and would not allow you to sleep most nights.
He paused then, eyes narrowing as he looking at you thoughtfully. He asked if you believed you would ever find the answers to all your questions and learn all that you wanted to learn.
You raised your chin, absolutely sure of your answer: ‘There is not enough time in the world.’
He nodded -- it seemed you had unintentionally confirmed something with your response.
He continued walking towards you now, quicker, more boldly. You backed up quickly, fear taking hold of you, but he reached out and grabbed your hand before you could get too far, keeping you in place with a strength you had never encountered.
He looked at you, honesty filling his crimson eyes. ‘Regretfully,’ he began, holding you immobile with both strength and gaze, ‘there is no way around the horrors of the transformation. But I think,’ at this, a slow smile spread over his face, exposing his teeth, ‘that you will find the end result worth the pain.’
And with that, he lunged forward, and bit you.
{***}
You wanted to be mad at him. You wanted to be furious, to rip him to shreds, to make him pay. And, when he stopped you from massacring your entire town in your newborn frenzy, you attempted to fulfill your goals.
But something about him combined with the wonders of your new life, kept you from doing so. The two of you just naturally got along. At your request, Felix broke into your home and retrieved your favorite books and your personal journals where you kept all your thoughts and ideas. After that, the two of you set out for his home, Volterra, where he promised to help you get a permanent spot in the security of his coven.
The two of you took the journey slow, this being your first time outside your region -- you wanted to explore. You were surprised to find his brawn did not mean a lack of intelligence, and the two of you often engaged in deep discussions. Though, when it came to research, he seemed content to follow you around and retrieve books for you when it took you too close to a large human population, rather than conduct the research himself.
Eventually, you made it to the city of Volterra and, with Felix to vouch for you and your insight (as well as Aro’s mind-reading abilities), you were offered a permanent position in the coven.
You have since remained a remember of the Volturi coven, but periodically take trips around the world to explore and learn all you can.
And sometimes, Felix gets to go, too.

Can I please have a Twilight origin story? 40 yrs old, Christian, creative (I write fanfiction and make cards to encourage ppl), soprano, tall and awkward, chronic pain/chronic illness, loves animals, needs lots of alone/quiet time. I cannot imagine life without soup or Star Trek.
Hi! Yes, of course!
Honesty? I think you'd be one of the first vampires around. I just can't see the vampire world existing for very long without you in it. It’s probably because you were one of the first Twilight blogs I followed/read <3
You were born in the year 302 -- though time was not well-kept back then, so of course, you can’t be sure -- in what would one day come to be known as the Black Forest. Your community was small, only about 35 families or so, and you all had to pitch in to survive. From your days as a child, you had a natural ability to encourage people, and often helped keep spirits high during particularly terrible winters or when a neighboring village attacked and your community suffered losses. Despite your chronic pain and illness, you looked for ways to encourage yourself and others and could often be found singing or telling stories while going about your daily work.
One of your favorite tasks was collecting herbs and firewood in the forest. It was a solitary task that really only required your hands -- you had the freedom to let your mind wander. You built entire worlds in your head and sang to your heart’s content, thinking you were alone in the vast woods.
But that was not the case.
The Black Forest was a popular home for vampires. The tall trees provided cover from the sun, and the frequent skirmishes between villages meant that no one would bat an eye when someone went missing -- they would say the person was taken by a wild animal or by an enemy.
A relatively large coven had arisen in the northern lands of the Black Forest. At its head was a mated pair, highly respected by their subordinates. Their coven modeled the budding monarchies in Europe -- hierarchical with varying levels of power and control, but no one superseded the head. In order to gain favor and rise in status (and thus get better sections of hunting territory, singers, etc.,) vampires in this coven would search for “gifts” for their leaders.
As soon as she heard your voice, lilting and twirling as leaves in the breeze, she knew you were perfect.
Though the desire to feed was strong, the vampire forced herself to change you instead, knowing it would help her fall back into favor with the heads of her coven. You didn’t even have time to scream -- she ripped you from the ground, the herbs falling from your hands, and bounded high into the trees with you, biting you instantly. Leaping through the trees, she took you farther and farther from your home and deeper into the forest closer to her territory.
Eventually, she found a cave and waited with you until the transformation had taken place, and in the year 342, you became a vampire. You adjusted to your new life relatively well -- even marveling at how your voice had somehow become even lovelier.
Something that was difficult to adjust to, though, was how animals reacted to you. You adored animals -- part of the reason you spent so much time gathering herbs and firewood was so you could observe them, interact with them, even. But as a vampire, they instinctively knew your predatory nature, and would run as soon as they sensed your presence.
You and your creator spent a few weeks by yourselves, working through the first frenzied days of your new life. Once you had reached a slightly higher level of control, she proudly brought you back to her coven -- your coven -- and introduced you to your leaders. They were so pleased with your singing and creativity that they offered you a permanent position within their hierarchy, which you accepted -- you didn’t know any other life.
You lived in relative harmony with your coven for nearly a hundred and twenty years.
But word had traveled to the Romanian coven that another was rising to take its place. They acted swiftly, infiltrating your coven’s territory and executing all in their sight. Miraculously, you escaped, running fast and far to the southern edge of the forest. To your surprise, no one pursued you. Maybe they didn’t see you as a threat, maybe they didn’t notice your escape, it didn’t matter. What did matter, was that you survived.
The war with the Romanian coven had made you hesitant to leave the forest -- though other vampires existed, it seemed they were violent in nature, and you wished to avoid that fate. Even within your relatively peaceful group, there had been fights and executions resulting in loss of ‘life’.
Your hesitance kept you in the forest for many hundreds of years. You became somewhat known to the locals -- an urban legend, if you will. They told of a strange, etherial creature who kept to the darkest parts of the forest. Those who entered her territory were unlikely to return.
But you also became a symbol of hope.
Mothers who found themselves unable to feed their children due to war, famine, and lack of resources, would find bundles of food outside their homes. Men who beat their wives would mysteriously go missing. Children who strayed and got lost in the woods would be promptly returned to their doorsteps.
The villagers never questioned these occurrences, only gave thanks for the Angel watching over the women and their families.
After countless years living this life, you decided it was time to explore the world you were becoming aware of. You set out and swam from continent to continent, meeting nomads from all over the world.
Though, from time to time, you still return to the Black Forest, which you see as your home.

hi! your twilight origin stories are so fun! tho i am a day late, if you have a chance i would love to tell you about myself in exchange for my vamp origin story :) i am studying anthropology and history in uni. in my free time i enjoy painting. my favorite season is summer (which is impressive bc i live in the south lol) and i love to be outside. if money were not an issue, i think i would be a beekeeper
Hi, thank you!! You’re not late at all :)
You were born in a small Italian village in the 1740s. Your village was a small farming community, and, because your traditional family typically didn’t allow you to participate in much, you would often sneak away to the nearby orchards, fields, and ponds. Unfortunately, they didn’t notice your absence. You were the only daughter in a family full of ‘useful’ sons, and your family often treated you as a burden rather than appreciating and caring for you.
A friend of yours who lived in the nearby city would bring you painting supplies, and you would paint on anything you could -- rocks, wood, boxes, anything. If painting supplies weren’t available, you would make your own! You were very resourceful that way.
You always had a hunger to learn more about the world, but no way to afford an education. So you did the next best thing -- you were curious about everything. You would bombard everyone you could with questions and were incredibly pleased when they would take the time to answer you.
But despite your friendly nature, you were often alone. The town focused on farming, and you weren’t allowed to help with much of it. You did your household chores but would run off as soon as you got the chance to spend time outdoors.
During one of your days outside, a beautiful stranger unlike anyone you’d ever seen before came walking over the hill. His eyes were bright red, but strangely, you weren’t frightened. He asked you for directions to the nearest city, and you gave them, but couldn’t resist your curiosity. You asked why his eyes were red.
He sort of smirked and averted his eyes, seeming to play for time. Instead of answering, he changed the subject, asking why you were painting a rock. You answered, but then countered with a question of your own: why was he walking alone through the hills and orchards rather than taking the road to town? The two of you continued like this, asking each other questions, but you were the main one to give honest answers. He did have the threat of the Volturi to consider, after all.
After a few hours, the clouds began to fade, and he looked regretfully at the sky. He told you he had to hurry away, and you were surprised to find yourself sad to see him go. Just before he ran off, he turned back to you, seeming to surprise himself when he asked ‘if you could have anything from town, what would it be?’
Your answer was easy: ‘Paint.’ Then with a grin and a tip of his hat, he was off, seemingly having vanished out of nowhere.
It was then that you decided to go home -- surely you hadn’t had enough to eat, or didn’t sleep well, and now you were seeing things. Days passed, and you continued to convince yourself that nothing was amiss, you had simply made the whole encounter up.
Four months passed without incident. On another cloudy day, you sat in your favorite spot, this time, mixing some paint from water and the wildflowers. A throat cleared behind you, and you whirled around to see the man from before standing right there! Clearly you hadn’t made him up. He approached you, seeming almost shy this time, and presented you a gift of paint he had acquired in town. He apologized for taking so long to return, but you didn’t mind at all -- you were so pleased with the gift and your mind was reeling with his red eyes and ability to simply disappear from thin air.
Though he sat quite a distance away from you while the two of you talked and painted, he never seemed to have trouble hearing you. When the clouds began to recede, he once again stood, saying he had to go, but he would return one day.
Secretly, you hoped he would. And, just so you knew you were not making this up, you pained him as he sat in the grass so far away from you. With the reds he had brought you, you perfectly captured his depthless garnet eyes.
This continued for two years. He would appear sporadically, each time bearing gifts and an apology for staying away so long. Each time, you dug deeper, trying to get him to explain the unexplainable, but he always danced around the questions. You found yourself missing him when he was gone and elated once again when he walked into your life.
On a breezy day in 1765, everything changed. He appeared, not on a cloudy day as usual, but on a blue, sunny one. You gasped, his skin sparkling like the sun on water. You asked your questions again and, finally, he gave you honest answers.
You were shocked, but not at him being a vampire. You were perceptive and intelligent -- you had always known something about him was different. What really made you wonder was why he hadn’t killed you yet?
He explained that he’d been ‘alive’ for over 200 years and had worked very hard to have good self-control. The first time he met you, he had just finished feeding a few hours ago, so he wasn’t thirsty. He heard your human heart beating from a mile away, and decided to investigate -- he’d met plenty of humans in the cities, but was curious about those who lived in the villages. He started talking to you and stayed much longer than he should have, captivated by your dedication, kindness, intelligence, and curiosity. As long as he was well-fed before visiting you, and he stayed relatively far away, he was able to control himself. Besides, he admitted, seeming nervous now, he’d never wanted to kill you -- to him, the thought was deplorable.
You asked him why he was telling you all this, but part of you already knew.
And part of you already knew what your answer would be.
Tentatively, he approached you, careful not to move too quickly. He seemed to work up his nerve and asked, ‘would you want to join me?’

Are you still doing that Your Twilight Origin Story? If not, ignore my ask! It will be ok!! Sorry for bothering! And if yes, can I join please?
So, my name is Dominika. I am from Europe, I am an introvert, I don't like going to school, I am stressed type of person. I like to read books and write stories! I am an overthinker who still likes some celebrity! I like to listen music! I have only a few friends, who always says about me that I am helpful, shy and cute! I am christian! I am always sad when I am trying to make friend and I realize that person is selfish :(
Thank you so much and have a nice day!!
Hiii <3 You're not bothering at all!! Here's your story :)
You were a student at a boarding school in Europe in 1998. School tended to stress you out -- you absolutely hated it. You didn't struggle with a lack of intelligence (no one would ever accuse you of that), but the whole concept of overlapping deadlines and mountains of homework stressed you to the max. You were pretty shy, but your two best friends knew you better than anyone else. The three of you studied together, ate together, explored together -- it wasn't often that you were apart from each other.
Except, of course, when you were at your tree.
Your tree was your favorite spot in the whole world. It was located about a half mile into the woods that bordered your campus -- not quite in a completely "woodsy" area, but still far away enough from people that you felt a peaceful solitude.
The tree was tall, sturdy, with what seemed like a thousand branches sticking out of its trunk. You found it during a hike your first week at boarding school and have visited increasingly often since. It's where you work through your thoughts, where you destress when school becomes too much, where you read, and where you write your stories.
Only your best friends knew about your tree, and even then, they never visited it with you. Although you never said it, they both knew that it was your spot where you went to be by yourself, and they respected your space enough not to interfere. You thought it was very kind of them.
Your favorite time to visit your tree was in autumn, so when October rolled around, your friends got used to seeing little of you. They understood -- when it began to snow, it would be too cold to visit your tree as much as you liked, so you wanted to soak up all the time there that you could.
One day, when the leaves were just beginning to fall, you were reading at the base of your tree. The story was engrossing -- you were captivated, only a few chapters from the end.
You didn’t notice when someone approached you.
Unbeknownst to you, the vampire watched you for almost an hour, studying your facial expressions as you got to the plot twist in the book.
Finally, she could contain herself no longer. ‘It’s shocking, isn’t it?’
You jerked your head up, yelping in surprise -- you hadn’t realized you weren’t alone.
She gave you a strained smile and gestured to your book. ‘I read that one a while ago. The ending is good, too, if a little sad.’
You nodded slowly, observing her from afar. Something seemed...off...about the woman, but you couldn’t put your finger on it.
You blinked, and suddenly she was standing in front of you. You gasped and hurried to stand, shocked and frightened by her speed.
She didn’t seem to notice your fear, though. Instead, she kept her jaw clenched tightly and regarded you with a pained expression, looking like she was holding herself back.
Before you could stop yourself, you took a step forward, looking at her questioningly. ‘Are you alright?’
She took a few moments before answering, but then let out a breath, nodding slowly. ‘Yes, I think...I think I have it under control.’
You waited for her to explain, but it seemed she was done talking. She took another step towards you and you backed up, trapped between the strange woman and your tree.
The last thing you heard was her pleading whisper: ‘Please survive.’
When the transformation was over, the woman introduced herself and explained that she’d fallen in love with a human and had been practicing creating a vampire so one day she could return to her love and change him -- apparently, you were the first of her ‘attempts’ to live through the encounter.
You worried about your friends, but knew it wasn’t safe for you or your creator to return to them and explain what happened. In fact, you wanted to get as far away from them as possible, terrified that you would accidentally kill them.
So, you and your creator headed to South America. The two of you actually got along really well and, after a few years together, you started to regard her as not only a traveling companion, but a friend. Despite your pleas that she stop, she continued to practice creating new vampires, and, after a few regrettable failures and three additions to your coven, she decided she was ready to return to her love. Only one of your coven chose to leave, and the rest of you went with her, excited to see where your immortal life took you.

This is for the twilight vampire thing so ummm okay, so I love classical literature and learning about history. This includes learning about weapons from different eras and domestic history ^_^. I enjoy the arts, and writing (I play multiple instruments and dance ballet). I’m a huge nerd and love tolkien and Star Wars. My style is influenced by historical fashion, and I like dressing like a Victorian vampire lol. I hope this is enough???
Thank you :)
YESSS thank you for indulging my boredom!
You were changed during the Renaissance in Florence, Italy, no doubt -- 1460, to be exact. A true Renaissance Man, you excelled in literature, history, music, and dance. You found a patron -- a distant relative of the wealthy Medici family, and took part in providing entertainment for one of their dinner parties.
But it wasn't just the humans who took notice of your talent.
A nomad visiting Florence enjoyed your music so much (he heard you while he searched for prey, of course), and it stuck in his mind as he continued through Italy to pay a visit to an old friend -- Aro.
Upon reading his friend's mind, Aro fell under the spell of your talents as well and sent two of his guard members to you on his behalf, claiming to be wealthy nobles in Volterra.
Lured by the promise of steady patronage, money, and lodging, you readily agreed to accompany the two men to Volterra. You shoved down the fear, the hint that something was off. It wasn't until it was too late when you realized -- they had red eyes.
The moment you entered the castle, Aro supplied you with instruments and asked you to play. Then dance. Then read poetry. Despite your fear, you indulged his wishes, feeling that you would still make it out alive. At the end of your performances, though, Aro was so delighted, he changed you himself, hoping to always have you and your gifts near.
Despite the shock of your new life, you were content to remain with the Volturi for a long while. They supplied your need for blood and allowed you to explore your passions, all the while enthusiastically supporting your talent and company. You lived through the Renaissance in Italy and took in more knowledge than you ever thought possible!
But by the 1790s, the urge to learn more took you from the Volturi (with a promise to visit again, of course) and to London where you stayed for another 100 or so years. You kept mainly to basements and taverns during the day, but explored often during the night.
You’re not as nomadic as your peers. Instead, you choose to spend a good number of years in one place, marveling at all the knowledge and watching history happen right before your eyes.

**The origin stories are currently closed, but I’ll open them up again in a little while as part of my 600 follower celebration! I just need a bit to catch up on all the wonderful requests I currently have :) Once I get to 600, I’ll open this again as well as a few other things to celebrate! See you then!
Hi! These are so fun and I know it’s difficult to find asks once they’ve been posted (at least for me, it takes me to the person’s profile rather than the answered ask, so I have to go looking for it) so I figured I would keep them all in one place so you can find yours :) I’m putting them in order of change year, because that just makes sense in my mind, haha. Heyyy, so for the vampire origin story, based on my blog? I’ll also add a couple of details. I really love history, specifically us ww1 and 2 history, I really like marvel movies, not the comics as much, I’m not good at cooking. I know this is so random, but I don’t know what else to put. Ummm, I’d say I’m caring but I can be a bit selfish. OK ALSO HAVE YOU WATCHED LOKI YET IT IS SUCH A GOOD SHOW. ok yeah, let me know if you need anymore 💜
Hii!!! YES thanks for requesting! AND NO I HAVEN'T WATCHED LOKI YET *SOBS* I NEED TO MAKE TIME TO DO THAT!
I honestly think you had a pretty similar human life to Esme's (not her tragic ending, thank goodness). What I mean is -- you grew up in the late 1890s in a small town in the US Midwest. Your town was sleepy, and small, and you really just wanted a life of adventure. You were always trying to swim in the creek and climb trees and sneak into places you weren't allowed to be.
By the time you learned how to read, you read every book you could get your hands on. The owner of the small local library knew you well and would always send word to your house if he got a new book in. This led you to become a teacher and, though you still found your life quiet and sleepy and a little boring, you were content to spend the rest of your life in your small town, teaching others your love of history and knowledge.
Then the War hit.
Your life was turned upside down as all the able-bodied men from your town were shipped overseas to fight in the Great War. Life still went on, but it was different from before. You felt your heart tugging you somewhere, longing for a place, a feeling, something you never had.
It clicked one day when you visited the nearby town. A worn, sun-damaged flyer hammered to the wooden door of a hardware shop long ago abandoned:
HOLD UP YOUR END! NURSES NEEDED, TRAINING PROVIDED. JOIN YOUR FELLAS AT THE FRONT AND SAVE AMERICAN LIVES!
Though you hadn't an ounce of experience, you trusted in your ability to pick up skills and knowledge quickly, and despite your friends and students begging you not to, you signed up immediately. Your training took you to the East Coast, somewhere you've never been before, and you were delighted! Finally, a bit of adventure!
The dangers increased though, when your cohort was called to France to aid those injured or sick while fighting in the trenches. Still, you stuck to your grounds, helping heal soldiers and civilians impacted by the horrific war. You couldn’t not care for them -- they were in need.
You were alone one night, cleaning up your nurse's tent. You'd just had to amputate a leg, and, though the soldier survived, the blood was everywhere.
A passing nomadic vampire, a woman who had been changed a handful of years ago in Portugal, had been making her way up North when the War started. Like the other vampires in the area, she decided to stick around, knowing that death was rampant and no one would notice the bodies of countless drained soldiers.
The woman crossed by your tent -- the overwhelming scent of the blood led her to believe someone was dying there. Much to her disappointment, she did not find a bleeding soldier, but a healthy nurse covered in someone else's blood.
'No matter,' she thought. 'No one would miss just one nurse. They'll think she ran off.'
So before you could react, she lunged, intending to suck all the blood from your body and bury you nearby. She dragged you deep into the countryside where no one would find you. But another vampire, a newer, less controlled one, happened to be running nearby. He smelled the blood and couldn't resist. He attacked the female vampire, hoping to kill her and take your blood for himself. The two fought over your body, ripping each other to shreds.
While the two vampires painstakingly worked to put themselves back together, three days passed. By the time the vampire who had unwittingly become your creator was able to stand and reattach her head, it was too late -- you were nearly done with the transformation.
Knowing the Volturi would kill her if she didn't take responsibility for her newborn, she reluctantly instructed you in the ways of your kind. After the first few weeks, you realized that you couldn't stay in the war zone -- you couldn't kill those you had, weeks earlier, worked so hard to save. So you and your creator changed plans, intending to run on land to Southern Africa and then swim to Australia. But while in Egypt, you met the Egyptian coven, and became quite fond of their company. You and your creator parted ways, and you stayed with Amun, Kebi, Tia, and Benjamin for a while. They were cold to you at first -- not very trusting of outsiders -- but your caring demeanor soon won them over, Amun's eyes sparkling as he said you reminded him of an old, blond friend of his.
He promised to introduce you one day, and you're very much looking forward to it.

Are you still doing the Twilight thing or am I late?
Okay, so I love reading (specially fantasy) and learning new things like history, science and etc. I enjoy art and writing, I dance ballet and jazz and I love writing poems. I like Tolkien, Star Wars, Harry Potter and many other movies and series. I'm mot very fond of the Sun and I do everything I can to avoid it (yes, this is true because I get terrible headaches when I spend too much time in the Sun) and my clothes usually hide my shoulders and knees. My favorite season is Winter. I also like learning new cultures and religions.
I hope this is okay?
Hi, you're not late at all! Thanks for the ask!! I love doing these!
While a mated pair of vampires was trying to explore Brazil, they came across a nomad and got into a fight over a minor territorial dispute. They killed the other vampire and escaped, but just barely. The two realized that, despite their hesitation to ally themselves with other vampires, there was safety in numbers.
They had originally planned to invite the next nomad they came across to join their coven, but they soon became impatient when the area was largely uninhabited by other vampires.
They decided to create one, and in 1921, they came across you. You were coming back from the neighbor's house -- it was just across the street, you were supposed to be home in a minute. But you never made it to your front door.
The two snatched you off the road and carried you deep into the rainforest, far away from human ears. It's there that they changed you. They had only intended to create you for security purposes, but, much to their annoyance, the minute you woke up, they started to like you.
They liked your honesty, your kindness, the way you viewed the world around you. So, for your sake as much as theirs, as soon as you were controlled enough to travel, you all made your way up to the safer territory of the North (careful to avoid the remnants of the Wars for Territory, of course).
You spent the remainder of the Roaring 20's in the US -- mainly, Chicago. You loved the jazz! After that, you went even further, up to Canada -- you love the cold weather there. Still, with such a vast world, you couldn't stick to just one hemisphere! You and your small coven explored Asia, Africa, and even as far as Australia!
In 1978, during one of your explorations of Alaska, you and your coven ran into the Denali family. They explain their lifestyle and, while hesitant, you and your coven agree to try. You have limited success (and don't stick with it for very long), but it does allow you to be more controlled around humans, which you love, because it allows you to explore more of their world -- namely, the wildly popular film industry.
Your love of film takes you on more travels as you visit the filming sets of every fandom you hold dear. And, if you do sneak into a couple of scenes as an extra, no one needs to know -- I promise you, the Volturi do not have any streaming services.
