2014 లో రాష్ట్ర విభజన అనంతరం ఏపీలో సుమారు అరకోటి జనాభా, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో 6 లక్షల వాల్మీకి బోయలు గత 7 దశాబ్దాలుగా ఎస్టీ హోదా పునరుద్ధరణ చేయాలని ఉద్యమాలు చేస్తున్న విషయం తెల్సిందే. ఉన్న వాల్మీకి బోయలు ఈ నెల 9న ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించే వాల్మీకి జయంతిలో పాల్గొన రాదని ఏకగ్రీవ తీర్మాణాలు చేస్తూ ప్రభుత్వం పై ఉద్యమ జెoడా ఎగుర వేస్తున్నారని అటు ఏపీ వాల్మీకి అధ్యక్షుడు బండి కిష్టప్ప, ఇటు తెలంగాణ వాల్మీకి బోయ ఐక్య కార్యాచరణ ఉద్యమ కమిటీ సభ్యులు 4 అక్టోబర్ గద్వాలలో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో తెలియజేశారు. తెలంగాణలో సీఎం కేసీఆర్ చేసిన మోసం అంతా ఇంతా కాదని నమ్మించి బోయల గొంతుకోసారని, చెల్లప్ప కమీషన్ ఇచ్చిన రిపోర్ట్ ఆధారంగా అక్టోబర్1న బోయలను ఎస్టీలో కలుపుతానని చెప్పి కలుపకుండా గిరిజనులకు 10శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ ఎమ్ ఎస్ GO 33 ద్వారా అమలుకు ఆదేశాలు జారీచేశారని అందుకు నిరసనగా ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
