Test d'Évaluation de Français I The Language SKOOL
The TEF (Test d'Évaluation de Français) tests your French skills. TEF Canada is a required test for those applying to Canada's economic immigration programs.
Immigration and Citizenship Canada uses this test to assess your French language skills. The test includes listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You can register for the test at the official TEF centres listed on the TEF Canada website. The test results are valid for two years.
The TEF exam consists of four sections:
Reading (60 min - 50 questions - 300 points) Listening (40 min - 60 questions - 360 points) Written (60 min - 2 Topics - 450 points) Oral (15 min per candidate- 2 Topics - 450 points)
Each section evaluates different aspects of your French language proficiency. The listening section tests your spoken French, the reading section cheeks your understanding of written texts, the writing section evaluates your ability to write French, and the speaking section measures your oral communication skills.
