So Price confronted Farah about her involvement with Shadow Company. I’m pretty damn pumped to see how this subplot plays out, just because these campaign writers are pretty damn good.

As far as the gameplay developers… I’ve got some QUALMS… lmfao. I remember hearing they planned to make campaign gameplay more player-led, meaning you could go guns-a-blazing or stealthy, whatever works for the user. Which I can appreciate because I’m a loud and fast kind of player and like being able to work around that without being trapped by a pre-planned formula. What I didn’t realize though was how similar they would make it to fucking Warzone gameplay. I guess picking up gear as you go along isn’t too different, using tactical equipment isn’t new, but like.. I just can’t shake the impression they’re just trying to get more people to play Warzone by introducing these “Open Combat” missions.

Like nah, I’m a campaign girlie. I grew up with these games, World at War being my first, the original Modern Warfare being my favorite. I’ve always loved the stories. This Modern Warfare reboot plays out like a movie which I adore. I’m still most excited about the story despite the rest.

Hey, that’s fine. I was planning to have a backup ready anyway. That’s why I put it as a question rather than a demand or outright request. Nah, your thoughts are valid on this one. I’ve heard the dog-throwing chapter with my own ears, so I 100% get what you mean. Those two are teeeense in the actual book. I’m thinking Spooky AU plays out a tad different thanks to everything that’s happened, which is why I specified.  I’ll send in my backup shortly. I have a feeling you’ll like this one much better. 😎

Now, for the one I was tagged in and (of course) didn’t get notified. Would you mind drawing Spooky AU versions of Danglars and Hermine doing D2?

Okay so, I'll just answer this ask and then tag you in the drawing later on, but there is one thing I feel like saying; (note- as of now, I don't think this applies to the AU versions, that COULD change, but if not, this totally won't apply to the AU so this will be fine) and I really hope this doesn't come off as confrontational or inflammatory in any way, but honestly, I don't really feel very good about drawing those two's relationship in a positive light, since in the book, they really did not have a good relationship, in fact it was kind of emphatically a bad, loveless one, and it would make me pretty uncomfy to draw them in a cute, romantic sort of way.

Of course, as I stated before, I'm fine with it in the AU, as it seems like Danglars actually has, you know, feelings and a conscience, and as such, they probably had a good relationship, at least at some point, so don't worry about it for now. This was just something I figured I should say right off the bat.

Again, I do hope this doesn't come off as me being rude, picky or overly sensitive; it just doesn't feel right to me, y'know? (;ŏ﹏ŏ)
