hmm speaking of losing elections was anyone else kind of annoyed when after the us election certain leftist tumblr users would condescendingly scoff at any other leftists trying to convince people to, like, not kill themselves? like okay i'm sorry i didn't clarify in my "if the election ends in a way that makes you scared, you shouldn't just lay down and die, you should fight to live another day. please don't kill yourself" post that the democrats are also evil liberal bastards who have a vested interest in keeping the oppressed marginalized. i thought it kind of went without saying, especially when the task at hand was saying Hey Please Don't Kill Yourself. i promise i'm not secretly a harris worshipping liberal because of it lmao
