My boss couldn't put the seek ad for the receptionist on last week because it was a full moon and she "doesn't like doing things on a full moon" yeah same
#also should've seen her face when she opened the drawer in the reception area and saw the cheque i'd stuffed there#I'm sorry!!!! I'm just hoarding undeposited cheques around the office#no it's a cheque we deposit at the other bank for the old boss - idk why we still do it for him but we do#god forbid the day sophia inevitably gets rid of the accountant 'for being too slow to get the returns out' and me for idk everything#who will mort & co contact to do his returns and bas's and deposit his cheques???? Sophia wouldn't think about these things at all#what else oh the correspondence i'd left on the reception desk IT WAS ONLY THERE SINCE LAST FRIDAY IT HASN'T BEEN THERE LONG#but of course the boss was freaked out about it and went through it#which i guess she's entitled to do being the boss and all#technically she should read the mail after I've opened it every day but we've gone slack on that#she's barely ever in the office#also 'hugh' (not the right spelling) is 'hughie' to her#has she genuinely got the name wrong or is she on nickname basis with my mortal enemy?????
