Sul sul! 👋 My sim Gabi and I welcome you to our colourful corner called Kithlien! Technically this isn’t a new simblr, but I've been inactive for quite a long time and wanted a fresh start. It's like my 8734567th try of creating a simblr and maintaining it. Student life keeps me really busy all the time, but I always come back here and it’s definitely a sign! 

Who am I, you ask. So my name’s Kits (she/they) and I come from Poland. I’m a 30+ veteran simmer, who’s been playing the sims franchise since 2002. I love all sims generations, but here I’ll focus on TS3 & TS4. My sims style is Maxis Mix and all about colours. I spend an insane amount of time in CAS and Photoshop - that means edits, sim portraits, lookbooks and (occasional) sim dumps will be the main points of the programme. However, I don't rule out some gameplay and stories in the future, so stay tuned!

I won't post the rest of the family because 1/ I'm too tired right now, and 2/ Jeb's lookbook is super boring since it's just grey t-shirts/sweatshirts & jeans/overalls for nearly all outfits.

And I think it's safe to say that @saruin & @ts4eve are Wolfie's favourite creators, with how many of their clothes/accessories he wears 😋(and despite not wearing as much as he did when he was younger, @aniraklova's clothes have a special place in his heart, too).

And I believe it was @adelarsims who was sad about not seeing enough men in long dresses, so, I hope the few outfits where Wolfie wears one help a bit (even if, technically, Puppy's enby, not male).

PHOTOSHOOT: ZOO MAGAZINE

For today's fashion editorial, we're going to take a deeper look at Marina's photoshoot for Zoo Magazine's 28th edition released in late 2010.

The photoshoot was lensed by Roger Rich. Styling by Jason Leung, hair by Paul Percival and makeup by Ashley Ward, respectively.

For the first photo, Marina is wearing this interesting David Koma Fall/Winter 2010 piece.

This jacket is a bold, avant-garde design featuring striking zipper embellishments. The zippers are creatively shaped into spiraled, sculptural forms that line the shoulders and upper arms, creating a sharp, architectural silhouette.

To add a more sporty feel to her ensemble, Marina layered her jacket with this grey zip hooded jacket from Reebok‘s "EA7" capsule collection made in collaboration with Armani!

Next up, M is seen posing in the asymmetrical draped jersey dress with leopard print from Lanvin's Pre-Fall 2010 lookbook which you should definitely check out.

A perfect nod to her Greek roots, Marina wore the Reebok Fall/Winter 2010 Freestyle Hi goddess Athena-themed sneakers inspired by ancient Greek mythology. Mostly synonymous with her shield and helmet, its fitting to see the colorway use a bronzy armor look, with an actual shield graphic on the heel.

Marina looks amazing in a gold sequined version of this Balmain square shoulder military jacket, a��G-Star graphic tee and some Reebok sneakers in white leather.

In one of the many stunning shots, Marina is photographed lounging in this Prada Fall/Winter 2010 dress. This piece is made of ciré, a plastic and technical jersey with black and baby-blue guipure flower frill embroidery.

Here, Marina Diamandis is wearing the chain-embellished "Status Symbol" white cotton tee from Moschino's Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

The super whimsical TV sunglasses with 3D antennas are vintage Oliver Goldsmith!

For the last look of this editorial, Marina looks trés chic in look no. 5 from Proenza Schouler's Fall/Winter 2010 runway⸺sleeveless white cotton poplin blouse and micro plissé skirt in black wool.

Anyhow, I was wondering - The Suicide Squad Harley, in her suit - How?! I'd love to recreate that outfit because it's one of the few I haven't picked up yet. Hello Simmers and Sims 4 Content consumers! My name is Liv, but I go by yaja-sims (pronounced ya ya, the j is silent lol) on Tumblr, Twitter (technically X but no one calls it that LMAO) and Tiktok. I have been playing the Sims for multiple years now, I'm almost certain that it has been 7 years but I'm not actually keeping track 💀. Anyway I have been thinking about starting a Tumblr blog for around a year and a half and finally had the courage to do so! I am a minor but won't specify my age because..it's the internet at the end of the day lol.

Moving on, I have been a fan of creators like @aashwarr, @farfallasims, Claire Siobhan, and multiple other simmers for a few years now. (Claire Siobhan was my first ever simmer I watched and was a fan of; fun fact.) I don't feel comfortable starting a YouTube, making gameplay and let's plays because my anxiety is THROUGH the roof like you won't believe.😪

I just wanted to come on here and state that this is the start of my journey of becoming a simmer and I wanted to share it with some people to get a bit of a following and have a few friends that are also simmers on here! I'll be posting content like builds I make, some sim dumps, lookbooks for my specific sims and cc finds! I know A BUNCH of simmers on this platform already post stuff like this but I wanted to join in and if you could spare some time where you have just a quick look at my content that would be great!

This was just a really simple post, in my old editing style as well, apart of a short series of portiture introducing the Holmes. Cousins of Anne through Jane. Not my favorite of the month, but still cute. Other parts of the month in general was just some story posts.

I love this post a lot, it marks the beginning of a collab that will come out in the next arc. I thought it would have come out sooner, but I ride the waves of motivation. The picture itself was one of my favorites with that editing styles, and still is. February saw one of my favorite posts, featuring Jane and their kids (including Anne).

And so begins my recent editing style. I love it so much. This post as well. And I was able to come out with the part two to this lookbook in this year, thats a win for me. The post itself really helped me establish more cultural things about the people of Esha and their connection to plants and colors. In March I made my first and probably only guide on Russian Titles and the first part of the "What Once Was, Will Never Be." The second part gets to come out wayyyy later.

My first poll! (I'm pretty sure). I just love dressing Esther up, and wanted a little cinderella moment, but Hildegard really did look way better in the dress (as well as the color chosen for her). This month I only posted 5 seperare posts, and most of it was asks.

An introduction of three Queens and a Grand Princess through out the history of Esha. (Including one for the future) I introduced a decent amount of future gens this month. I wish the mother's day post from this month got more traction than this. (It had my next two gens featured) I also did a couple of lookbooks.

I finally had another story post this month and this post for some reason was the most popular of the month, and for the rest of the year until just recently. Its just a picture of a crown! I was so confused when I found out that it was my top post. Don't get me wrong I love the work and worldbuilding I put into the royal collection I made, but it just confuses me why it was so popular. I did a lot of worldbuilding in June.

This was very fun to do! Also technically a worldbuilding thing for me in the fashion, but the portraits that came out of it are really pretty! I didn't have much going on for this blog during July.

A lookbook of Arabella's outfits! This was very fun, it got me more interested into what They wear for royal outings and just in general. This month saw another story post (One of my favorites) and the start of the Six Queens storyline!

This is an Au post where if Anne didn't marry George, Esther would have, for ...reasons :) The month saw the beginning of chapter two of the six queens story and just some of my favorite edits as well. Like some magazines I did for Esha.

This was the beginning of a series of portraits I did for the modern royals of Catalia. October was also the start of Sima and I creating a second short story other than Six Queens, which will come out after Six Queens has finished. It also saw two of my favorite posts of the Six Queens short story and the end of Six Queens Chapter Two.

One of my favorite posts of all time, and getting to feature some of my favorite historical sims that are now dead in the present. The month itself was mostly just portraits and answering asks.

The post that beat the crown! I was so happy with how this came out. This involed more worldbuilding for the country of Chelyabinsk, and me wishing for more Kokoshnik cc. This portrait was used for Tsarina Sofiya's wikipedia post, which I accidently forgot to add her death date, which I will add at a later date and publish again with other wikipedia articles. I want to add more just to hers. The rest of this month was more portraits and a chanukkah post that I planned on having more to it, which I do plan on posting for when its chanukkah in universe (insert crying emoji here) and I got to 200 followers, which was very exciting!

I can't wait to see what happens in the next year for this blog. I have a lot going on in TBS and I can't wait to publish it all. Happy New Years!

I’m forever obsessed with how detailed your content is, and I can tell it takes so much time and effort to create it. With that said how do you manage posting everyday?

Do you schedule posts? If so how far in advance do you plan your content? Do you block out time and how do you balance it with other existing tasks like work, school, etc? Overall, I just want to know what goes on behind the scenes. I’ve been thinking of taking my account more seriously however time is such a big issue for me and I’m interested in hearing how other creators such as yourself handle it or any workarounds or recommendations you could provide.

Thank you so much for your kind words first of all, they are very much appreciated! As for content, posting everyday is not for the faint of heart as sometimes it can become quite draining, but I love the commitment I've made to doing it. I'm so proud to say I've done it for nearly a year and a half with technically no days off considering even while I am on holiday, I have posts going up while gone.

BUT, I do not recommend this method at all for most simmers because if you are someone who suffers with burnout easily or frequently, this will severely hurt your creative output. However, I do recommend posting frequently because I am a firm believer that consistency is one of the top ways to build a beautiful community.

I do schedule my posts, and currently I have a whole month queued out as I will be going on holiday for a while at some point in the coming months, so I've been prepping! And usually when I am prepping content, a lot of the motivation and drive comes at night, so I could push out maybe 4 lookbooks in one evening, and that covers me for 4 days. Sometimes it's only 1, other days like a week ago I made like 8 in an evening. It all comes down to creative drive and inspiration with that in mind.

If you wish to start taking content more seriously, there truly is no "right" method because everyone's journeys are so different. But my formula was posting every single day and trying to be as active as possible with the community as a whole.

At the end of the day, you need to find a method/formula that works for you because my method may not work for you for reasons stated prior. I recommend searching for what fits your schedule and creative drive, and see if you can expand on it! I wish you the best of luck in this community when you do decide to take simblr more seriously.

But one last rule. JUST HAVE FUN, that's all we're doing here!
