Im a new anon , I don't know where the India Pakistan thing came from but I don't think you have lived in India long enough
Pakistan has done some god awful things , my great grandma died last year - her parents and sisters were killed because of Muslims .
You victimizeing yourself saying " should you hate me that I'm a Muslim?" Sounds well... Pathetic
It depends on states - in central India and northern people don't care , in southern and western people can be a bit bias but excuse us for not trusting someone who also killed our people
Also curious why you mentioned "why are you banning hijabs" but not the part where the majority Indians protested against the states government banning it.
Please educate yourself. I don't know how the topic shifted from "save Palestine" to "im a victim because my ancestors were Muslim"
babygirl... *deep breath* EVERY ETHNIC COMMUNITY HAS COMMITED CRIMES AGAINST ANOTHER ETHNICITY. THATS WHY THE SUBCONTINENT GOT DIVIDED-YALL HAD TOO MANY DIFFERENCES AND STARTED HATING EACH OTHER(i mean the bristish technically had a huge part in the "divide and rule" game)! BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THAT ITS RIGHT! Be it Muslims, Hindus or whatever, no one should start ethnic cleansing and hate crimes.
The topic may have shifted from "save Palestine" for you, but im still on it. Thing is, anon brought up the whole "scared of Muslims, u should see how horrible they are in India" thingy while I was posting about PAlestine, which means that anon thinks that all muslims are bad and therefore its actually okay for Palestinians to die because at least anon will be less scared.
Im sure Pakistan has done pretty fucked up shit too, but ngl, hand to god, not one pakistani anon has come into my dms to shit talk about India. And lets not delude ourselves into thinking that India has never committed any crimes against Pakistan, be it a terror group, the military or the government.
also, what do u want me to do about "majority" indians protested against the hijab ban? Give u a medal??? AS THEY SHOULD! It should never have been brought up for debate.
"but excuse us for not trusting someone who also killed our people" yes sweetie thats called racism (and also- stupidity) because im sorry, is every muslim suddenly Osama bin laden??? SHould we all just not come to India because Raman Raghav was a psycho, so thats how every guy in India is???
God, like what is wrong with yall?? This feels like T Series vs Pewdiepie, just a lot less amusing.

Ranveer and Raghav are the demons of lust from hell and in no way able to keep their relationship to themselves. They have their privacy, yes, but these boys (especially Raghav) fucking love staking their claims on each other. They are the one gay couple determined to make every homophobe in a 100m radius retch their breakfast on the sidewalk.
Madhuri and Manorama are the reserved, quiet lesbians. Their families still think they're "best friends" and "roommates" and totally not recreating the cunnilingus part of kama sutra most nights. You will look at them and think they really are two straight best friends. Well, except for the times Madhuri ogles her girlfriend's muscular arms.
Kairav and Parvati are, very fucking surprisingly, the most normal couple by far. Maybe because they're pseudo-straight but maybe they're just like that. I wouldn't know, ask the writer (I am the writer). They're not exactly against PDA, but also like to keep mostly to themselves. (Once a guy said they were technically lesbians and Paro kicked his nuts and asked him if he's a eunuch now. It was awesome, you should've seen it.)

SSC JE Exam Demystification: A Guide for Mechanical Engineers
Are you passionate about mechanical engineering and want to start working for the government? If so, taking the Junior Engineer (JE) exam offered by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) may be your ticket to a bright future. This extremely popular test provides entry to top positions in numerous Indian government agencies and ministries. We'll go into great detail on the SSC JE test in this blog, providing candidates for mechanical engineering with a wealth of knowledge and advice.
Comprehending the SSC JE Examination: The Staff Selection Commission administers the SSC JE exam every year to hire junior engineers for a number of engineering specialties, including mechanical engineering. Paper-I (Computer Based Test) and Paper-II (Descriptive Type) are the two stages of the exam. Paper I evaluates candidates' technical knowledge in their various engineering disciplines, general awareness, and general intellect and reasoning skills. Conversely, Paper-II uses descriptive questions to assess candidates' comprehension of their technical discipline.
Method of Preparation for Mechanical Engineers: Recognize the Syllabus: Comprehending the exam syllabus in its entirety is the first step towards success. The curriculum for mechanical engineers is centered on foundational topics such manufacturing processes, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, strength of materials, and theory of machines.
Plan Your Study: Create a detailed study schedule that allots enough time for every topic. Spend time practicing descriptive questions and numerical problems in addition to solidifying your foundations. Practice prior Years' Papers: Solve prior years' question papers to get a sense of the format and nature of the questions asked. This will enable you to assess your degree of readiness and pinpoint areas that require additional attention.
Consult Standard Text books: To establish a solid conceptual basis, consult reputable textbooks suggested for Mechanical Engineering. Experts strongly suggest books written by R.K. Rajput, P.N. Raghav, and R.S. Khurmi. Keep Up with Current Events: Paper I heavily relies on general awareness. To be informed about current events, particularly those pertaining to Mechanical Engineering, it is recommended that you constantly peruse newspapers, periodicals, and internet portals.
Mock Exams and Revision: Use mock exams as part of your study plan to hone time management abilities and replicate exam conditions. Additionally, to ensure that you retain key concepts and to reinforce what you have learned, revise frequently.
Advice for the day of the exam: Remain Calm and Concentrated: On test day, keep your composure. Refrain from rushing at the last minute and have faith in your planning. Effective Time Management: Passing competitive tests requires effective time management. Set aside appropriate time for each part and rank the questions according to their level of difficulty.
Read directions Carefully: To prevent errors brought on by misunderstandings, thoroughly read the directions included in the question paper before tackling any of the questions. Try Answering Simple Questions First: To boost your confidence and get the best score possible, start with questions that you find simple to answer.
To sum up, passing the SSC JE exam necessitates a combination of careful study, calculated planning, and self-assurance. A prosperous career as a junior engineer in the public sector can be yours if you adhere to the advice provided in this article and have a rigorous study schedule. Remind yourself that the keys to realizing your dreams are persistence and drive. Best wishes!

Adipurush Movie Review, Rating & Verdict, Cast, IMDb
Tumblr media
2 Hr 59 Mins   |   Mythological   |   16-06-2023                                                                                                              Rating:  2.75/5 Cast - Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage , Sunny Singh and others Director - Om Raut Producer - Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair Banner - T-Series Films Music - Sanchit , Ankit ,Ajay-Atul, Sachet–Parampara   The first teaser was not well received due to poor computer generated imagery, but the film gradually gained craze as it approached its release date. With the advance booking of Adipurush, the stardom of Prabhas and the spirit of Lord Ram is doing wonders. Considered one of the costliest Indian films ever made and starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, Adipurush is releasing worldwide today. Here is the review of Adipurush.
What is it about?
Based on Valmiki Ramayana, Adipurush is entirely about Raghav (Prabhas), Janaki (Kriti Sanon) who face danger from the demon Ravana (Saif Ali Khan). How Raghav fights Ravana with the help of Bajrangi aka Hanuman and Sugriva and his army of monkeys forms the gist of the story.
Performances
Prabhas has done a good job as Raghav. As a simple man without any great power, Raghav's distress and vulnerability were well portrayed. Some of his action episodes are well made, but the rest feel cinematic and gimmicky. Saif Ali Khan is good as Raavan, he gets so much height in the film. His Ravana look has been modernized a bit. He appeared powerful, but also strange when he walked around in a digitally enhanced giant persona. Kriti is decent but has a very limited role. Others did well in their respective roles. In the second half, Indrajeet's character gets confused for some time. Sonal Chauhan is seen in only two scenes. Devdutt is good as Nag Bajrang (Hanuman).
Tumblr media
Technicalities
The first look of Adipurush was criticized but it might have made the makers focus more on the visuals. Overall visuals are better than expected, but there are some scenes which need improvement. Dialogues are fine. The background score of Adipurush is distinct and elevates several scenes. Some of the scenes, frames and characterisations remind us of popular Hollywood movies like 'The Planet of the Apes' etc. but it appeals to kids. Thumbs up scale and grandeur bgm first half Thumbs Down long climax VFX quality in 2D
Analysis
Ramayana is one of the very famous epics and the story itself is not new. It has been told many times before in different forms, but Om Raut wanted to show Ramayana as a film using modern technology and star faces. It worked well enough, but couldn't fully compensate for the damage done by the CGI work. The VFX and CG work in 2D is not impressive. While in 3D they have been played well. The first part of Adipurush is good with enough drama and engaging story. A good presentation of the real story of Ramayana is mostly entertaining. The second half builds on a good first half, but mainly consists of fight and confrontation episodes that go overboard with the graphics. The entire episode of the war from the time of Ravana's invasion of Lanka by Raghava and his army to the end is long. It is an over-the-top action film and that too with a lot of VFX work. The background music comes in to save Adipurush from slipping due to the fairly average VFX. Also, most of the film has a dark atmosphere. This color may be symbolic of the Ravana and Lanka theme, but it is overdone. Traditional fans of Ramayana find the characterization of Ravana a bit strange. His fort in Lanka, his costumes and even his armory were heavily inspired by 'superhero' movies. The makers' approach of making the villain trendy may be right to attract the younger generation audience, who are very much connected with the character and theme trends. It is interesting to have the ten heads of Ravana speak within themselves before making a decision. On the whole, Adipurush starts off as a drama-driven classic story, but in the latter half it turns into a protracted action fest. It can attract children and family audience who want to enjoy Hindu mythological story with modern presentation. Considering the opening and big screenings across India, it needs to be seen how the audience receives it. If ready to watch it, go for the big screen experience and it is recommended to watch it in 3D. Read the full article

★ Shehnaaz Gill to romance Jassie Gill; not quitting Salman Khan’s next!
May 27, 2022
Contrary to rumours, actor Shehnaaz Gill is in no mood to ditch Salman Khan’s next Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. A source close to the development calls these conjectures absolutely baseless. Furthermore from what we’ve gathered Shehnaaz will romance singer-actor Jassie Gill in the movie. She is very much a part of the project. She is paired opposite Jassie and has prominent role in the movie. They have a cute story,” a little birdie mentions.
In the Farhad Samji directorial, actor Pooja Hegde will be opposite Khan while Raghav Juyal will romance Malvika Sharma.
Interestingly, before Jassie, Shehnaaz was supposed to be paired opposite actor Ayush Sharma. However, due to reasons best known to the actor and producers, he walked out of the film at the very last moment.
“Technically no one has replaced Ayush. That character has been entirely rewritten. The makers are currently looking to lock an actor opposite Siddharth Nigam (actor),” the source mentions.

IRS to the rescue? Tax audits eyed for infrastructure cash (AP) Republicans say they won’t raise taxes on corporations. Democrats say they won’t raise taxes on people making less than $400,000 a year. So who is going to pay for the big public works boost that lawmakers and President Joe Biden say is necessary for the country? Enter the IRS. Biden is proposing that Congress build up the depleted and often-maligned agency, saying that a more aggressive collection of unpaid taxes could help cover the cost of his multitrillion-dollar plan to boost infrastructure, families and education. More resources to boost audits of businesses, estates and the wealthy would raise $700 billion over 10 years, the White House estimates. It’s just the latest idea emerging in the bipartisan talks over an infrastructure bill, which saw Biden huddle at the White House this week with congressional leaders and a group of Republican senators. The GOP senators, touting a $568 billion infrastructure plan of their own, said they were “encouraged” by the discussion with Biden, but all sides acknowledged that how to pay for the public works plan remains a difficult problem.
DarkSide, Blamed for Gas Pipeline Attack, Says It Is Shutting Down (NYT) The criminal hacking group DarkSide, which the F.B.I. has blamed for carrying out a ransomware attack that crippled fuel delivery across the Southeastern United States this week, has announced that it is shutting down because of unspecified “pressure” from the United States. In a statement written in Russian and provided to The New York Times on Friday by the cybersecurity firm Intel 471, DarkSide said it had lost access to the public-facing portion of its online system, including its blog and payment server, as well as funds that it said had been withdrawn to an unknown account. It said the group’s main web page and other public-facing resources would go offline within 48 hours. “Due to the pressure from the U.S., the affiliate program is closed,” the statement said, referring to intermediary hackers, the so-called affiliates, it works with to break into corporate computer systems. “Stay safe and good luck.” What that pressure may have been is unclear, but on Thursday, President Biden said the United States would not rule out a retaliatory strike against DarkSide that would “disrupt their ability to operate.” Cybersecurity analysts cautioned that the DarkSide statement could be a ruse, allowing its members to regroup and deflect the negative attention caused by the attack.
Spanish politics (Times of London) Isabel Diaz Ayuso, 42, head of the Madrid Assembly, is Spain’s rising conservative star; Pedro Sánchez, 49, is the prime minister. She inflicted a humiliating defeat on his Socialist government when she doubled her Popular Party’s number of seats in snap regional elections last week, in large part due to her keeping open the Spanish capital during the pandemic. Their defeat has rocked Spain’s political landscape. Ayuso walloped the Socialist party, shaking Sánchez’s standing, while totally wiping out the centre-right Citizens party and hobbling the advance of the far-right Vox party. Dismissed by her opponents as a Trumpista populist and lightweight novice, Ayuso is now tipped as a future national leader and her brand of liberal conservatism is being held up as a model for winning future general elections. While the left licks its wounds and looks for scapegoats for its loss, in the streets of Madrid people stop her to hail her as a heroine. “You are a fighter. You have courage,” a woman interjected to say to her during her interview with The Times. “Thank you for defending us.” Ayuso believes Sánchez’s days are numbered. “The election has generated enormous hope in Madrid and across Spain for those who are looking for an alternative type of politics,” she said.
Masks off, Poles cheer reopening of bars and restaurants (AP) Poles pulled off their masks, hugged their friends and made toasts to their regained freedom as restaurants, bars and pubs reopened for the first time in seven months and the government dropped a requirement for people to cover their faces outdoors. The reopening, for now limited now to the outdoor consumption of food and drinks, officially took place on Saturday. Yet many could not wait for midnight to strike and were out on the streets of Warsaw and other cities hours earlier on Friday evening to celebrate, gathering outside popular watering holes. Some brought their own beer to hold them over until the they could buy drinks at midnight—though some bars were also seen serving up beers and cocktails early. “Now they are opening and I feel so awesome. You know, you feel like your freedom is back,” said Gabriel Nikilovski, a 38-year-old from Sweden who was having beer at an outdoor table at the Pavilions, a popular courtyard filled with pubs in central Warsaw. “It’s like you’ve been in prison, but you’ve been in prison at home.”
Spy Agencies Seek New Afghan Allies as U.S. Withdraws (NYT) Western spy agencies are evaluating and courting regional leaders outside the Afghan government who might be able to provide intelligence about terrorist threats long after U.S. forces withdraw, according to current and former American, European and Afghan officials. The effort represents a turning point in the war. In place of one of the largest multinational military training missions ever is now a hunt for informants and intelligence assets. Despite the diplomats who say the Afghan government and its security forces will be able to stand on their own, the move signals that Western intelligence agencies are preparing for the possible—or even likely—collapse of the central government and an inevitable return to civil war. Courting proxies in Afghanistan calls back to the 1980s and ‘90s, when the country was controlled by the Soviets and then devolved into a factional conflict between regional leaders. The West frequently depended on opposing warlords for intelligence—and at times supported them financially through relationships at odds with the Afghan population. Such policies often left the United States, in particular, beholden to power brokers who brazenly committed human rights abuses.
India’s coronavirus crisis spreads to its villages, where health care is hard to find (Washington Post) BANAIL, India—The illness traveled silently through the narrow lanes of this prosperous village in Uttar Pradesh, infecting both young and old. People complained of fevers, cough and breathlessness. Then they began to die. Vipin Kumar, a farmer in his 40s, was one of them. More than 20 people with coronavirus symptoms have died in the village over the past two weeks, according to locals, a significant increase over the three or four deaths per month the village saw before the pandemic. Most of them, like Kumar, were never tested. “Not a day goes by when there are no deaths,” said Hariom Raghav, a farmer and businessman who had just returned from a cremation. “If things continue like this, the village will empty out soon.” The story of Banail has been playing out in villages across India as the virus continues its deadly surge: Rural areas, where over 65 percent of India’s 1.3 billion people live, had been spared in the first wave of the pandemic but are now facing devastating numbers of infections. Three quarters of all districts in India are reporting a positivity rate of more than 10 percent, a health official said Tuesday, an indication of how widely the virus had spread.
China lands on Mars in major advance for its space ambitions (AP) China landed a spacecraft on Mars for the first time on Saturday, a technically challenging feat more difficult than a moon landing, in the latest step forward for its ambitious goals in space. Plans call for a rover to stay in the lander for a few days of diagnostic tests before rolling down a ramp to explore an area of Mars known as Utopia Planitia. It will join an American rover that arrived at the red planet in February. China’s first Mars landing follows its launch last month of the main section of what will be a permanent space station and a mission that brought back rocks from the moon late last year.
Back-to-back tornadoes kill 12 in China; over 300 injured (AP) Back-to-back tornadoes killed 12 people in central and eastern China and left more than 300 others injured, authorities said Saturday. Eight people died in the inland city of Wuhan on Friday night and four others in the town of Shengze, about 400 kilometers (250 miles) east in Jiangsu province, local governments said. Tornados are rare in China. In July 2019, a tornado killed six people in the northeastern Liaoning province, and another tornado the following month killed eight on the southern resort island of Hainan.
As protesters flee Hong Kong, Taiwan quietly extends a helping hand (Washington Post) Bobbing off the coast in a Zodiac speedboat scrubbed of identifying features, Kenny and four others waited nervously for the last leg of their desperate, 350-mile journey. The five had been arrested months earlier on the front lines of demonstrations in Hong Kong. They had escaped across the South China Sea, steering toward Taiwan with just some snacks, identification and a satellite phone. Now came the final hurdle: convincing the approaching Taiwanese Coast Guard—and the government—not to turn them back. Taiwanese authorities brought the five ashore, housed them in a government complex and provided clothing, cigarettes, television, table tennis games—even English teachers. Eventually, the Taiwanese, who treated the presence of the five as a state secret, helped arrange flights to the United States, their new home. The experience of the five shows the lengths to which self-ruled Taiwan has gone to protect and help fleeing Hong Kong protesters. As Beijing tightens the noose around Hong Kong’s democracy movement, Taiwan has emerged as a key destination for those escaping the dragnet—just as Hong Kong offered sanctuary for dissidents from mainland China in the 20th century. “Hong Kong was once a safe harbor, but now, Hong Kongers need a safe harbor,” said Samuel Chu, a second-generation activist whose father helped students flee China after the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown.
Israel strike in Gaza destroys building with AP, other media (AP) An Israeli airstrike destroyed a high-rise building in Gaza City that housed offices of The Associated Press and other media outlets on Saturday, the latest step by the military to silence reporting from the territory amid its battle with the militant group Hamas. The strike came nearly an hour after the military ordered people to evacuate the building, which also housed Al-Jazeera, other offices and residential apartments. The strike followed another Israeli air raid on a densely populated refugee camp in Gaza City killed at least 10 Palestinians from an extended family, mostly children.
Medics: Israeli airstrikes kill 26 in downtown Gaza City (AP) Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City flattened three buildings and killed at least 26 people Sunday, medics said, making it the deadliest single attack since heavy fighting broke out between Israel and the territory’s militant Hamas rulers nearly a week ago. The Gaza Health Ministry said 10 women and eight children were among those killed, with another 50 people wounded in the attack. Rescuers raced to pull survivors and bodies from the rubble. Earlier, the Israeli military said it destroyed the home of Gaza’s top Hamas leader in a separate strike in the southern town of Khan Younis. It was the third such attack in the last two days on the homes of senior Hamas leaders. Israel appears to have stepped up strikes in recent days to inflict as much damage as possible on Hamas as international mediators try to broker a cease-fire.
With strikes targeting rockets and tunnels, the Israeli tactic of ‘mowing the grass’ returns to Gaza (Washington Post) For more than a decade, when analysts described the strategy utilized by Israel against Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip, they’ve used a metaphor: With their displays of overwhelming military strength, Israeli forces were “mowing the grass.” The phrase implies the Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip and their supply of crude but effective homemade weapons are like weeds that need to be cut back. But the long-term benefits of the “mow the grass” strategy have come under question. Zehava Galon, a former lawmaker with the leftist Meretz party, wrote for Haaretz that the strategy results in “perpetual war” that forgets “human beings are also able to talk, not only to carry a club.”
Arab World Condemns Israeli Violence but Takes Little Action (NYT) The Arab world is unified in condemning Israeli airstrikes in Gaza and the way the Israeli police invaded Jerusalem’s Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites. Governments have spoken out, protests have taken place, social media is aflame. But by and large the condemnation is only words, not actions—at least so far. The region’s concerns have shifted since the last major Israeli incursion into Gaza in 2014, with new fears about Iran’s influence, new anxieties about popular unrest in Arab countries and a growing recognition of the reality of Israel in the Arab world. Even those countries that normalized relations with Israel last year—the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco—have all openly criticized Israeli policies and called for support of the Palestinians and the defense of Jerusalem. The escalation of violence has put a great strain on those governments, which had argued that their closer relationship with Israel would help restrain Israeli actions aimed at the Palestinians in both the West Bank and Gaza. “I have not seen any Arab state that has not expressed support for the Palestinians on a rhetorical level, and it would be very difficult for them to say anything otherwise,” said H. A. Hellyer, a scholar of Middle East politics at the Carnegie Endowment in Washington. “But what they do about it is very different.”

BEST COVER STORY Space – The final frontier
Tumblr media
ISRO has been a major source of inspiration for entrepreneurs to finally have a little space on the space of their own and get a little closer to the mysteries that lies beyond. Here, we have the ‘space entrepreneurs’ talking about how they ventured into space, what they think about their mentor ‘ISRO’ and home ‘Indian aerospace industry’.
India’s GSLV MkIII-M1, successfully launched the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft into an Earth’s orbit on July 22, 2019. This ‘Bahubali’ moment India awaited since almost a decade; a source of inspiration to all the eyes, physical and digital. The stars, the skies, the Sun, the moon and what lies beyond them has always caught the eye. When the whole world was wondering what lies in the sky, few people have succeeded in reaching the sky; they found openings in space. A new wave of space technology startups is skyrocketing in India, catching the world’s eye, keen to join the space race.
Startups of the space Manufacturing for the aerospace sector is a difficult task for various reasons. Some of the said complexities are capital intensive and require extensive technical equipment and facilities for prolonged gestation. Few of the start-ups have been dedicatedly catering to the demands of the aerospace manufacturing.
Astrome Technologies – Dr. Prasad H L Bhat, Chairman and CTO When we started Astrome, my colleague Neha and I, were firm on making profound use of space technology to uplift the life in emerging nations. On understanding the delinquencies, we realised that there’s a dire requirement of high speed internet infrastructure. Particularly in developing countries, because when the concerns will be resorted from space, it would profoundly thrive the economies of rural and semi-urban geographies.
Manastu Space – Ashtesh Kumar, Co-founder, CTO and Tushar Jadhav, Co-founder, CEO
We were finishing final integration of our satellite on to the Indian rocket PSLV, when during a discussion, the staff, there, mentioned how people have lost their lives while handling highly toxic and carcinogenic fuel hydrazine for the satellite. They were not astronauts who had glorious deaths. It became clear to us that if the world got to realise the full potential of the space, it has to be in a safe and sustainable way; for that we decided to create the world’s safest satellite fuel and propulsion system.
Skyroot Aerospace – Pawan Kumar Chandana, Founder, CEO and Bharath Daka, Co-founder, COO Skyroot is building India’s first private space launch vehicle and as founders we were part of this sector before. Hence, we know there is a gap in supply, and therefore a great opportunity too owing to increase in demand for space-based services. Our start-up is different because we were founded by former ISRO scientists, have a team with strong domain expertise, and also, we do not operate on conventional rules resulting in accelerated progress. Indian aerospace ecosystem is mostly subsystem suppliers and lacks OEM’s building world class products. We believe aerospace sector has the potential to be on the likes of IT revolution in India in the years to come.
Xovian – Raghav Sharma, Founder Well, we started this during our college days in 2012-13. During that time, my 1st publication of research paper on rocket propulsion made me create an online platform for aerospace innovation. Later on, we formed our venture Xovian in 2015 with a vision to provide sustainable solutions in satellite technologies. Currently, we are working on innovative remote sensing technology which can cut down the cost of factor by 100 compared to the current remote sensing technologies. This is one such thing that distinguishes us from the other start-ups.
ISRO’s role in propelling the growth of Indian aerospace industry The aerospace industry in India has grown significantly in the last 5 years. This has been, in large, possible, thanks to ISRO. The organisation’s technology transfer program and private industry contract program have helped new private players evolve in the industry. The aerospace industry also has a heavy dependency on other industries like manufacturing and electronics industries. ISRO has shown cognizance of this with their methodical interaction with those industries and development of their capabilities. Bhat, speaking about Astrome’s focus on internet delivery from space, has distinguished ISRO scientists like Dr P S Goel, Dr. B N Suresh as their key advisors. He further adds, “ISRO is responsible for some key leaps in India’s space technology, including the launch of Chandrayaan-II, and the work-horse standard launcher of PSLV.”
Ensuring product integrity in the aerospace industry Safeguarding a product’s integrity is highly essential, especially in aerospace industry. Daka says, “Matured engineering and quality assurance thought process, is the Holy Grail to ensure product integrity in the aerospace industry. He further adds, “As the cost and lead time to manufacture and test aerospace products is high, it is imperative to follow a streamlined process in both design and testing and also ensure no corners are cut in the process. However, this should not lead to unnecessary delay at times when things get stuck, where matured engineering judgment to move forward in the right direction with calculated risk plays a very important role.”

ElectricPe raises USD 3 million funding in a Seed Round
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ElectricPe recentlyannounced that it raised a Seed Round of $3 million. Led by Blume Ventures and Micelio Fund, the company will utilize the capital to further develop its deep-tech platform to enable easy access to affordable charging points via the ElectricPe App. Investments from other notable Angel Investors included Anshuman Bapna (Terra.do), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com), Arjun Ravi Sheth (Partner at Anchorage Capital Partners), Ashish Goel (Urban Ladder), Bhuvan Gupta (OfBusiness), Jasminder Singh (Nowfloats), Khadim Batti & Vara Kumar (Whatfix), Mukul Rustagi (Classplus), Murthy Aradhi (Whishworks), Nikheel Kamble, Pallav Singh (Numen), Ramakant Sharma of Livspace (LOGX Venture Partners), Relentless VC, Saurabh Aggarwal (Fitso), Soumitra Mishra (Claro Energy), Supermorpheus, Tonmoy Shingal (Mettl)  to name a few. Founded in May 2021 by Avinash Sharma and Raghav Rohila, the company makes accessing and using charging points simple, seamless, and efficient. "We are particularly excited about partnering with Avinash and Raghav on their journey to take India successfully into the new world of EVs, as the #1 reason for the lack of adoption of EVs in India is the lack of charging infrastructure. Unfortunately, it is also a catch-22 situation as charging infrastructure providers won't invest unless they see demand, and consumers won't buy vehicles until they see the infrastructure. ElectricPe is looking to disrupt the market by bridging this gap. In doing so, they will soon become the largest EV charging platform in India," said Arpit Agarwal, Director, Blume Ventures.  "A hockey stick growth in the adoption of EVs in India can't be achieved without affordable charging solutions that are ubiquitously available. Most vehicles are either parked at home or in offices for more than 20 hours a day. These vehicles need low-cost charging solutions. We were fascinated by ElectricPe’s vision to address this shortcoming in the market. The duo bring in the right operational and technical expertise required to solve this issue at scale,” said Shreyas Shibulal, Founder & Director, Micelio Fund.  "Using our proprietary technology and platform approach, we aim to solve for 'trust', which an EV user requires when looking for charging services. With rising fuel prices and favorable Government incentives, the EV revolution has already begun, and our vision is to enable affordable and clean charging for all. We are taking an eco-system approach by working with all industry stakeholders, thereby making adoption more seamless," said Avinash Sharma, Co-Founder & CEO, ElectricPe. India is expected to have over 5 million public charging stations across the country, with multiple players working to address range anxiety by enhancing the density of charging points. ElectricPe looks forward to collaborating with these players and creating a single trusted platform to help users discover charging stations and seamlessly transact with them.   Read the full article
