A year ago today, I step foot into this workplace TeAro (Pilot Coffee Roasters) as my first day on the job as a baker. I was beaten down and broken, nervous from the rough path I endured during the past few years. I wasn’t sure of what laid ahead but I still had a glimmer of hope left in me. . During my year here, I was welcomed with open arms since that first day and was surrounded by warmth and love. Everyone here was genuine, they listened and reached out to me with kindness. . As the months rolled by, my heart was healing and my spirit revived as I noticed myself smiling and laughing again. . I was given trust, felt supported as they patiently taught me so much about life, coffee and baking as they nurtured my creativity. . So today I want to say thank you to every single one of you, you’re the best work family I could ever have. I cherish every day I get to connect with you all and appreciate all that you have done to help get me back on my feet. #work #workfamily #love #kindness #care #thankful #gratitude https://www.instagram.com/p/BtCIkowHraX/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=4aogrvtk8o76
