We looked at the story less as Mary needed redemption, and more just to really kind of see her cleverness and see her defend the man she loves, the man who has protected her so many times—but also the nation that is really her adopted home. She takes her role as Queen of France very seriously. And regardless of any feelings she has for Condé, he’s a revolutionary, he’s a usurper. They’ve (Mary & Francis) been drifting closer to each other for the last handful of episodes. Mary’s feelings for Condé became less kind of love and more loyalty. I think she feels like she turned to him at a moment when she needed somebody. She did it as a way to not feel the feelings that she was having for Francis, which were so mixed with regret and remorse and pain of the experiences that she endured this year. So I think that they’ve been drifting closer to each other for some time now, and you’ll see them come together in a way that’s very dramatic and heartbreaking.

ok so this episode really made me upset! like i mentioned i don't hate bash and he he cares for her but i do hate  the part where they are making Mary forget her past with Francis! Bash uses every opportunity he has to diss Franics  and i'm not ok with that ! i hate how he keeps saying he will do whatever, like even Killing Henry if it would save/ protect her... This is not healthy ! who kills their father like that i don't care what the situation may be... no one does that and to base/start a relationship like that is not healthy what so ever! u can't argue with that! Francis is and always will be the better choice for her because not only does he challenge her but he gives her wisdom as well! it is clear that Mary is lost without him! her actions, her decisions show this clearly! francis  said he will love her, argue with her, and pressure her TO DO THE RIGHT THING! is bash doing that??? NOPE he is changing Mary! pressuring her to do things she would never do! Even she admitted that in the last episode! it is changing her character! Francis would always respect who she is, he wouldn't push her to do something that would change her! sure he would challenge her to become better but he would never change her. that whole blood sacrifice thing that happened when Isobel died is a perfect example of how bash used that moment to manipulate her thoughts, etc against the Pagens who threatened, terrorized her because he knows she would never let him in her heart if her view about them is not changed.

i hate how she hides her feeling acting like Francis is nothing to her! we don't see even an ounce of sadness when his name is mentioned??? what is that about ?? is she forgetting her past>>>> how many times did Francis Sacrifice everything for her??? How could she agree with bash about francis being safe… Civilized ? Didn’t he kill Tomas for her » i mean i’m not saying being civilized is bad its actually part of why francis is a good character! It makes him wise ergo no foolish mistakes! But once on a while francis shows how deep his love is! It made him go against all that he has ever known! So how dare Mary agree with bash? How can she forget??

how can she kiss Bash and not think of Francis! Even when Francis was with Olivia ,because he was trying to protect both their hearts, he thought about Mary all the way ! he always thought of her! is she doing that ???? it doesn't look like that to me and that is such a brutal betrayal ! i hope they fix that or show us something otherwise its pure betrayal to completely forget something like that!

also... I think its pathetic how they are creating this ship without francis ! Its so pathetic that he has to be absent for them to connect! What kind of a love triangle is that??? A PATHETIC ONE I don’t like this Mary! She is becoming dark with bash’s influence! I dont hate bash i think he really cares for her but my OTP will always be francis bc the way he loved her can’t be replaced ever!

Taking a little break

Okay everyone of y'all knows that I ship Frary way more than 100% and I know that they are going to be able to get through everything that happened this last episode. you also know that I am a fan of the actual real life love story of Mary and Francis. (we did a play in high school and the story was so epic) But after this last episode I need a little break. just like a day to just relax and try to forget about the heartbreak that just happened. but that being said if anyone finds spoilers or pictures of the next few episodes or finds anything out regarding frary. message me!!! or send me the link!!! I love this Frary fandom and everyone who ships them.

Ughhhh! I just KNEW Francis was going to see Mary and Bash kiss. Homie, she only kissed you out of spite from her fight with Francis. And imma need Olivia to back the hell up with her nappy-headed, gold-digging self. Kthx. She is obv a 1 out of 10 compared to Mary's gawwgeous self.
