My K-dramas list
LOVED:
Crash Landing on You (사랑의 불시착, 2019-20, 16 eps) This drama is my n1! It made me feel thigs and made me cry a lot. I enjoyed the found family aspect and the story was so different so far what I've watched. I was rooting for the couple so much and the fact they're married in real life! Chef kiss!
No gain No love (손해 보기 싫어서, 2024, 12 eps) Every episode was delight. I fell in love with main couple love story. Their chemistry was magnificent. Second couple had more screen time in my opinion, I was cheering for them, but my heart was stolen by Son Hae-yeong and Kim Ji-wook.I enjoyed the family aspect of it too! And it should've had at least 16 episodes, it ended so quickly. Hope they'll make more stories like this one!
Goblin (쓸쓸하고 찬란하神-도깨비, 2016-17, 16 eps.) Drama which made me watched other kdramas! I loved everything about it, the story, characters and the sountrack.
Doom at your service (어느 날 우리 집 현관으로 멸망이 들어왔다, 2021, 16 eps) The story premise was so good. I enjoyed every second of it. Only thing I didn't love that much was second couple, Na Ji-na was acting so childish.
Tomorrow (내일, 2022, 16 eps) every episode was masterpiece, every episode made me cry because the topics which have been shown was sad reality for so many people. The team was excellent, the chemistry between them was so nice. The camera, the script - I love every episode so much. Definitely need to check out webtoon comics.
The Judge from hell (지옥에서 온 판사, 2024, 14 eps) My first show with Park Shin-hye and not last. She was awesome. And the punishments which those monsters got, was satisfying!
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (갯마을 차차차, 2021, 16 eps) I really liked Shin Min-a acting in No gain no love, so of course I watched other drama with her. Enjoyed the story, the chemistry between her and Kim Son-ho, the people from the town. It was such a nice drama!
Welcome to Samdal-ri (웰컴투 삼달리, 2023-24, 16 eps) It had Hometown cha cha cha vibes. The story, sisters bond, friendship and love story in this story was everything. I loved every minute of it.
Fight for my way (쌈 마이웨이, 2017, 16 eps) This drama showed me that when it's done well Friends to lovers trope isn't bad at all.
The Sound of Magic (안나라수마나라, 2022, 6 eps) This was so beautiful drama! JCHW as Magician was brillians as his cast members! The songs were weak except the first song and A curse o Asphalt, those two I can listen to over and over.
Mr. Plankton (Mr. 플랑크톤, 2024, 10 eps) I didn't have high expectations, but it surprised me! I'm glad that I found out at the beginning how it will end. I could prepare myself for it. The story had original story line and Woo Do-hwan stole the show for me!
Marry My Husband (내 남편과 결혼해줘, 2024, 16 eps) I didn't plan to watch it, because the concept was same as Perfect Marriage Revenge. But it was so much better than PMR. It had revenge with R. I couldn't stop watching after episode 1, that addictive it was. The chemistry between couple was so good, side characters were loveable and the villains were amazing - I hated them with my whole soul, the actors did good job. And Yoo Ji-hyuk became my another favorite husband material.
Healer (힐러, 2014-15, 20 eps) I loved everything about it. I binged in 2 days. Healer and Ajumma hacker - the best combination! No love triangle!
Strong Woman Do Bong-soon (힘쎈 여자 도봉순, 2017, 16 eps) I started it because of Park Bo-yeong, but finished it because of Park Hyung-sik - his character Ahn Min-hyuk stole my heart. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. I binged it how intrigued I was. It had comedy, crime invesitgation what I should wish for more. The acting of main characters were flawless!
Suspicious partner (수상한 파트너, 2017, 20 eps) Combination comedy and suspense was so good. It had good balance. It wasn't the best drama, but I loved it either way. I fell in love with its characters.
Revenant (악귀, 2023, 12 eps) I'm not fan of horror, but I got influenced by some edits. It was pretty addictive and scary. The cast did such a good job. And Kim Tae-ri was excellent. Her performance was flawless. Can't wait to watch other shows and movies with her in it.
Gangnam B-Side (강남 비-사이드, 2024, 8 eps) I watched it because of JCW, I was hesitant at first, because I was afraid it would be too much for me, because of the topic, but it wasn't that brutal I was expected it'd be. The pacing of the story was good, the acting was perfect. I enjoyed the friendship theme. Bibi was so good, it's my first drama with her but definitely not last. Chemistry between her and JCW was pretty natural. The ending was satisfying, everything clicked together.
The Worst Evil (최악의 악, 2023, 12 eps) Let me tell ya, it was perfection. I don't even mind I was anxious every episode, because everything on this drama was perfection. Acting, story, script, soundtrack.. The ending had to be like that, because the whole time it was coming to that point. I can't even watch fan edits, because they made me emotional, that big impacted this drama has over me.
A Business Proposal (사내 맞선, 2022, 12 eps) My first kdrama ever. I enjoyed about it how feel good this drama was. After watching some Turkish dramas where unnecesary drama was made, it was fresh air for me. I loved the friendship so much! And the family dynamic was nice, too.
Daily Dose of Sunshine (정신병동에도 아침이 와요, 2023, 12 eps) Park Bo-yeong was amazing. The story is one of those which everyone should watch once in their lifetime. The story is opening topics about mental illnesses and how big stigma it still is around people. Honestly, only thing I didn't like was the romance there, because it wasn't that necessary for the story itself.
Enjoyed:
Brewing love (취하는 로맨스, 2024, 12 eps) I'm glad I didn't stop watching after first episode, because I didn't like that episode a lot, but it got better! I enjoyed the world of making beer and fact that ML was sensitive character, who can feel how someone is feeling, very new what I've seen so far. I also love about the drama the meaningful conversations and no love triangle, and just good time without frustration of miscommunication.
Shooting Stars (별똥별, 2022, 16 eps) I got crush on Kim Young-dae after watching No gan no love. Unfortunately I didn't love this drama, but I had a really good time. I enjoy the story setting, it shows how messed up is the entertainment industry in South Korea. The comedy was so good. I wasn't satisfied with how some plots were handled in the end. Overall it was fun drama!
Extraordinary Attorney Woo (이상한 변호사 우영우, 2022, 16 eps (S1)) I enjoyed every case. Joon-ho is such a green forest!
Backstreet Rookie (편의점 샛별이, 2020, 16 eps) First episode wasn't good, the problematic elements shocked me, but I give it a try, because of JCW and after second episode I was hooked. Enjoyed the comedy and serious topics which was added. I wasn't fan the romance though, it took them a long time than ML and his gf broke up, which I was frustrating with the gf behavior, I was sorry for her at the beginning, but I got mad at her soon after that. She was such a toxic victim acting person. The whole relationship was mostly about her and fact she was feeling embarrassed when she was with him!? And after break up, which she broke up with him and in bad way...she started chased him again! I was done with her acting. And another person annoyed me that much, which wasn't even punished is younger sister of FL. LIke what a brat. The chemistry was there, but I didn't feel the love. I hope they'd be in another drama together!
Love next door (엄마 친구 아들, 2024, 16 eps) I enjoyed chemistry between charcters and also trope friends into lovers, which was executed so nicely. Enjoyed important messages in it, BUT a few last episodes was dragging to me. I guess, I lost interest in the end. But I was so rooting for second couple, so I needed to finish it. This gonna be my first kdrama where I prefer second couple more.
Lovestrunk  in the city (도시남녀의 사랑법, 2020-21, 17 eps) It had very interesting concept. And was suprised that episodes were short like 30 mins. What I loved the most about this show was friendship of Lee Eun-oh, Suh Rin-i and Kang Geon. Give me supportive friends and I will love it! Next thing is spoilers so what I didn't get was 2 months fling which he did like they knew each other for longer period time. Understand, that it can happended, but he was such a loser boyfriend. I was embarrassed for him for many times. But I loved how caring he was...The ending wasn't satisfying at all. It felt like there gonna be season 2, but I doubt it.
Cinderella at 2 am (새벽 2시의 신데렐라, 2024, 10 eps) beginning started so high and it went down half way through the show, which was a shame. This is my second noona show (found out there's a name for older woman, younger man show recently) Moon Sang-min was such a cutie in the show. Most people prefer second couple and I don't blame them, but I love main couple, they were such cute idiots and I was there for it. But if I should choose only 1 drama with noona theme...No gain No love did it better in whole picture (characters, story itself).
Wedding Impossible (웨딩 임파서블, 2024, 12 eps) I had the same problem as with Cinderella at 2 am, it had a really good beginning but in the halfway it got a little dragged. Especially didn't enjoy what they did Dohan's story, I was picked this show up especially with the premise FL helps her friend and becomes his fake bride because he's gay. This theme wasn't handle very good. I started it because of Moon Sang-min and stayed because of him, because hist character Lee Ji-han was overdramatic and I was here for it! I was also in awe with FL Na Ah Jung - I love abour her she doesn't give a damn and tells you what she thinks!
Liked:
Perfect Marriage Revenge (완벽한 결혼의 정석 (, 2023, 12 eps.) It had so much potential, but it didn't live up to it. I enjoyed ML, he was another green forest. But I was expecting a little more satisfying revenge from FL. Nervertheless it was solid drama, I like it.
Link: Eat, Love, Die (링크: 먹고 사랑하라, 죽이게, 2022, 16 eps) Interesting plot, but that slow pacing of the story was killing me. I'd prefer 12 eps, because it'd be enough. I enjoyed the main characters, plus FL's mom and grandma who were stealer of the show how hillarious they were. The characters were main reason I finished it.
The K2 (더 케이투, 2016, 16 eps) Ji Chang-wook has become my favorite actor. I love how he can play anything. And the action is so good when he's there. I was excited after a few episodes in, the action, political schemes. But in the end only Ji Chang wook and Song Jun-a were saving this show. Her villain character Choi Yoo-jin was magnificent and interesting persona. Thanks to them I wanted to finish it and I did!
My sweet mobster (놀아주는 여자, 2024, 16 eps) I enjoyed the idea of the show. Loved the guys and their boss. But it was dragging a bit in the end. It took me a while to finish it because of it.
Family Matters (가족계획, 2024, 6 eps) It was good to see Bae Doona again after so long. The story was interesting. Hope they are planning second season, because it definitely deserves it.
The Trunk (트렁크, 2024, 8 eps) The plot was very confusing at first, it took me 2 episode to understand it. Pacing was very slow and if there wouldn't be main couple I'd just give up, but I enjoy them. Their chemistry was natural and fact, they healed each other at some point!
Family by choice (조립식 가족, 2024, 16 eps) I must say I was pleasantly suprised how well they did the remake of Go ahead. The essense of that show was there, but it made it more its own show.
Face Me (페이스 미, 2024, 12 eps) Beginning was promising, but it flopped in half way. I can't blame cast too much, because main issue was script, they couldn't do better job because of it. I was missing development of characters and the fact the killer was obvious from very beginning wasn't cool, I love being surprised.

🍁
OW, thx for the question, Anon <3 I dunno in what OC you are interested in, so I'll briefly respond for everyone. What is your OC's favourite season? Why and what do they do during it? 🍁 Beulah loves Spring, when everything blooms and seems full of life. She can't really enjoying sunlight for her vampire nature, but she wakes up early to see the sun going down and she takes care of her part of the garden without asking Aaron's help. 🍁 Mélina loves Summer. Dark seasons make them more moody and melanchonic, but the clear sky and the abrutp summer storms fill their heart and give them a lot of energy. She loves going to the beach and playing team sports as volleyball.
🍁 Séraphine loves Autumn instead, the slow return to the routine and the lack of hurries. She collects mushrooms, leaves, berries etc. for the cooks and the alchemists. She also prepares often traps for hunts.
🍁 Yeong-hye loves Winter because she has the perfect excuse to stay at home cozy, under the covers, and she can be cuddled by her girlfriend. They watch a lot of rom-coms and they bake together a lot of pies and pastries. You can find the original post here!

Day 2 in Korea - Friday 28 July 2023
Eonnie Oppa let me sleep in, the kids were busy going in and out for activities, I was with Oppa. As he cleaned etc, we talked and he left, gave the key of the house as I planned to exercise outside the apartment. I went out, observing the neighbourhood, walked, and it was so hot. I went back home, survived, enjoyed the quiet apt and did pilates. Rest for a while then the kids came, we are learning hangeul together. Sooyi was so excited to teach me and bring me many many books to learn, sooo cute nae sarang. Seoyi hates it tho, she said na gongbu shiro!! wkwkkww... The kids had lunch preped by Taekyun Oppa.
Then oppa brought us to book cafe Milkbook in Paju as I wished. It was sososo nice. Oppa really get my idea, the place is just my dream, what I always wanted as I saw instagram. On the car was so cute already, we all sat at the back but the kids were being so noisy so Oppa said Marsella appe, sit in front with me hahaha.. we really had a great time, ordered ice cream, coffee, read and walk around together, took pictures with my camera, oppa warned the kids as they told me to keep studying but he said Imo want to swui (rest) hahaha.. then the kids beg to buy cookies and books to me buy the father took over. I spent quality time with Seoyi as well, read pallgang moori, we took turn taking pictures, i love you so much chung seo yi.
Then afterwards we head home because we need to prep for Friday worship. But i was starving then Oppa cooked ramyeon, the best one, also served with halmeoni's kimchi which is the best!! I remember we talked a lot and learned for Indo performance together.
We head out, listened to sung si kyung (as I watched hangang n yeoudo sign: jjinj hangukidaaa), we talked in the car, dropped the kids to tung tung kimbap, the head to Oppa's studio in the church. we brought our shirts also Eonnie's, and I watched him work on songs SO COOL! Seoyi called me as we became Katalk friends hahaha.. they came back and we're heading to the rehearsal room where I saw many familiar faces. Han Jibsanim, Ha Jangronim, Mi Yeong Onni, etc and we're histerically reunited. The youth also come one by one, Jongsu, Zion, Hyemi, GwangHui with his laptop, EunJung Onni, Yoora, EunHye, Seungmin, Hakman, Kiwan Sieun, DongHwan, Yeseung Yeneung, Eun gu, Haon, KyeongJu, Haram, Hye Yeon, and many others. Everybody looked busy just finished from work though.
We rehearsed so cutely, with motion etc, haha hehe, trying to remember the lyrics, put on our position, n turned out me was put in front next to Yoora, Sieun, GwangHui and we had to hold microphone omg what is this.. Then we head to the main hall church, rehease very cutely and helped by the performance team, remember our mic, correcting our choreography, trying to get ready and 1st song that was sang was the 1st korean worship I downloaded during my father was sick in the hospital back in 2020 (merinding gak sih -0- pengen nangis tersedu kalo inget kala itu ga kebayang bisa bolak balik korea ky sekarang gini, but I know that's when God started to work in koreanness DNA in me HAHHA).
Then Han Jibsanim asked us to get ready and went to the backstage on the 3rd song. And we watched out Bali video mission for the first time with bitjereun nun (mata berbinar/shining eyes), teasing each others WOOOOOO on different part, feeling blessed it happened, unity, thankful, proud of God's work, nostalgic and mixed feeling. I remember every second of it, I want to keep it in my heart forever. I love you guys so much, God thank you for this new family and our strong bond, please keep this and the fire for the gospel forever.
Then time to show hahaha, it went well i guess and i enjoyed and smiled. I think it's what Chung Eun Ju muksanim meant by we shouldn't give up in our fate - that I was born shy like this, ugly or fat, but with God we can change everything, being used to be a light, brave, attractive and kind compassionate, willing to get out even though im an extreme extrovert. So God, all the glory belong to you again, please keep me humble and under Your grace. We then listened about the missionaries' work in Batam, SG, Malay with Maurice muksanim that I heard the next day as well.
After service I said to Eunjung Onni that I will go out with Yoora's soon which is Hakman n Gwang Hui. We're hanging out to watch movie together at 11 pm omg, we first stopped in front of the church, insa: Yujong, Seokmin, Yejin, Taeyon, Ryan, everybody is line 91, etc and we had fun walking to the cinema. Hak man bought me movie ticket and I bought uksusu drink as well. They challenged me to understand the movie hahaaa. Gwanghui on the way keep questioning how can I improve my hangukmal, so cute, I spoke to Yejin and how she used to be Yusosu's seonsaengnim. I sat next to Yoora, the seat was nice and we had adventure inside the building as well, trying to get the elevator etc, and going out was a hastle but chemita like an adventure. Hahahehe and we went seperately, going back to the church as Yoora parked there, went to toilet, pyeonijeom to buy vit c n snaks, nice ahjussi then we head to onni oppa house. Yoora continue to work while I was so exhausted and went to sleep. She used Yui's pyjama can you imagine how cute hahaha.. that's the end of my packed 2nd day..

'Red Balloon', 3 types of firepower that viewers can sympathize with
Tumblr media
TV CHOSUN's weekend mini-series 'Red Balloon' is exploding 'empathy firepower' with realistic narration and a vivid reality story.
'Red Balloon' (script Moon Yeong-nam/director Jin Hyung-wook/producer Green Snake Media, Highground) tells the thrilling and thrilling story of relative deprivation, the thirst for stomach-ache, and our struggles to quench that thirst. We looked at three special reasons why 'Red Balloon' was well-received by maximizing viewers' empathy.
◆ The story of the man and the woman in reality
'Red Balloon' is a story of someone who has actually heard of it, and it wraps the home theater with empathy with the development of an extreme reality story with realistic material. Like the gathering place of various word-of-mouth, the episodes of the man and the woman encountered somewhere in the family, work, or neighborhood are contained in detail and naturally. As a result, social issues that have been publicized in actual news have also appeared, earning a reputation as a 'hyperrealism drama'.
In the play, Yang Ban-suk (Lee Bo-hee) received a text message saying that the old-age pension would come out, and as she grew older, she was excited to think it was a separate money. Here, after Jo Dae-bong (Jeong Bo-seok) performs CPR on a passenger in a cardiac arrest in a taxi, goes home and asks his family if they know how to perform CPR, and in the scene, “If you suddenly stop breathing and your pulse stops, you have to do it right away.” The content related to the 'implementation of CPR for the general public', which emerged in conjunction with the accident, raised the sense of reality.
◆ Human nature, psychology, and duality exposed
'Red Balloon' formed a consensus by clearly showing the 'relative sense of deprivation' that we all feel in the present era, but it is coolly revealed on the outside and cannot be said. The relative deprivation felt by Jo Eun-gang (Seo Ji-hye), a clay spoon born in a poor family, to Han Bada (Hong Soo-hyeon), a golden spoon who was born rich and enjoys many things, and the manifestation of suppressed desire that started from this, caused a response that made people nod their heads.
The colorful and wealthy daily life, envy and jealousy of a life superior to one's, betrayal and hypocrisy to take it away, and the pursuit of justification for one's own happiness, 'Red Balloon' is a psychological portrayal of human duality and selfish human It is asking fundamental questions about nature.
◆Life history of family members of various ages and generations, couples with different textures
'Red Balloon' is achieving a wide consensus among men and women of all ages as family members and couples of various ages and generations appear. Gomul-sang (Yun Joo-sang) and Na Gong-ju (Yoon Mi-ra), a 70-year-old man who managed to make a living if they made a mate even without love, and Cho Dae-bong and Yang Ban-suk, an elementary school alumnus who want to be a husband and a woman who do not have unfaithful days, but have strong wives in their 60s. to draw
Hanbada and Gochaewon are struggling with the extreme conflict between father and mother that cannot be sealed, causing regret, and Jin-cheol (Lee Seong-jae), who married without dating, is shaken by Jo Eun-san (Jung Yu-min), a love he is trying for the first time. In particular, to the mother, Yang Ban-sook, who wails greatly due to Jo Dae-bong, her two daughters, Jo Eun-gang and Jo Eun-san, said, "Divorce and live your mother's life."
The production team said, "It seems that 'Red Balloon' is gaining more sympathy because it reflects realistic episodes that have been heard at least once and events that have been publicized in real life." I will do my best to create a unique 'red balloon'."
Meanwhile, 'Red Balloon' recorded TOP5 in the drama TV topicality in the 5th week of December announced by Good Data Corporation, a TV topicality analysis agency. In terms of drama search issue keywords (performers), Seo Ji-hye took first place, while Lee Seong-jae, Hong Soo-hyun, Lee Sang-woo, and Seol-hwan took second to fifth place, respectively.

Why Hye-yeong
TLDR; Me discovering Love Alarm and being pleasantly surprised by the endgame(!) and I know many of you are disappointed, but I love Jo-jo and she deserves buckets and buckets of pure love and happiness, and IMO, she’s better off with Hye-yeong.
Here’s why, the shorter version. (Yes, really.)
One. Hye-yeong loves Jo-jo just because. He doesn’t expect and doesn’t ask anything in return. He’s happy just because he can show her that he loves her.
Zero possessiveness. He’s never demanding, he just offers his love freely. Look how happy he is back on season 1, just being able to ring Jo-jo’s alarm repeatedly with his bike, while she obviously doesn’t and says that she probably will never ring his alarm back.
Hye-yeong: “You don't have to like me back just because I like you.”
Jo-jo: “How’s that fair to you?"
Hye-yeong: “I just wanted you to know how I feel."
On S02E04, even after Jo-jo disappears from his "will love you" list, Hye-yeong sees that it's raining and he sends her a text: "It's raining all of a sudden. Did you bring an umbrella? Should I pick you up when you're done?" And even later on, he still smiles the same smile as he notices her there with the yellow umbrella. He continues to ring her alarm again and again that evening, fulfilling his 10x/day quota, even though he's actually really distressed himself.
There are really too many to list here, but you’ve got the point, right?
-
Two. Hye-yeong’s the epitome of being patient. He freaking waits four(!) years after Jo-jo and Sun-oh’s break-up before making his move.
On one hand, he’s such a frustrating guy. (Get moving already!) But on the other hand, the way his love is still so strong and unwavering for years is 💕💕💕
-
Three. Even from season 1, Hye-yeong makes Jo-jo hopes again.
Jo-jo: “Thanks to a single person who’s ringing my Love Alarm right now, I now have hope that I can be happy. One is bigger than any other number in the world.”
Love and relationship is not only about passion, but also commitment. Conscious effort that one continues to choose the other again and again despite everything. So, the fact that Jo-jo herself says this is 🤩
Jo-jo: “Hye-yeongie is a warm and kind guy. I want to try my best.”
-
Four. And on season 2, Jo-jo learns how to love because Hye-yeong shows her how.
Jo-jo notices that he’s struggling even though he says that he’s fine. She ties his necktie for him and says this: “I’m good at it now, right? I can do it now because you taught me.”
And she’s not only talking about the necktie, but also recalling to the moment when Hye-yeong does the same thing to her back on season 1.
This is such a contrast with Sun-oh, who’s starved for love himself. Sun-oh’s also still learning how to love someone properly: how to put their feelings and needs above his own, know when to let go of his pride, how to trust and be gentle.
-
Five. Hye-yeong also shows her how to heal (though unconsciously).
Jo-jo: “People act two different ways when they’re hurt. People who cover up and hide the wound and let it fester. People who show their wounds and grow like trees.”
But I want to stress this. Jo-jo grows and makes peace with many things from her past on her own. She has her own power, always does. But it is also Hye-yeong’s presence and his support throughout their relationship, that I believe gives her the boost. She has such stable and strong support system in the form of Hye-yeong now.
-
Six. Last but not least, they’re so secure with their feelings, that they don’t need the confirmation from the app anymore, at the end. Jo-jo’s log data is such a sweet throwback to all of their moments, yes, but character-wise, they both just shrug if off when their attempt to view the data is apparently unsuccessful.
-
Edited, since I realized belatedly that Tumblr messed up the formatting.

Sorry to team Sun-Oh, but I’m so glad Hye-Yeong got the girl. I do love Song Kang but this is why I was team Hye-Yeong from the beginning.
So back when Love Alarm was first released I actually hadn’t heard of either of the male lead actors so I had no idea who the endgame would be. I ended up dropping the drama 3 episodes in because I found myself rooting for HY and I began to think SO was the main lead. I decided to wait until the second season was released before finishing season one. I didn’t realize how long I’d wait...
So this past week I binged everything from the beginning back to back and I still stand with rooting for HY. Here are my reasons:
1. SO didn’t respect his best friend—When SO found out HY had feelings for JoJo he still pursued her. Yes HY denied it but SO knew how HY felt.
2. HY may have admired JoJo from afar but he respected that she was in a relationship while SO did not. SO kissed JoJo TWICE (by the way) while she was in a relationship. First was when she was with Il-Sik and the second was when she was with Hye-Yeong!
3. HY never pressured her to prove how she felt while SO always pulled out the app to confirm how she felt all the time. While HY did want her to ring his alarm, he chose to be patient and waited for her.
4. JoJo had her own trauma to work through and honestly, SO wasn’t the right person to walk alongside of her through it. He had his own trauma but never really addressed it.
5. JoJo hated being in the spotlight or put on the spot. We see this with the anonymity with The Ringing World and when SO called her out multiple times. SO received a lots of attention and he enjoys it. HY does things quietly.
6. HY is a warm and loving person. JoJo never had the love that HY shows her except with her Halmeoni. SO also doesn’t really know that love either so for two people who don’t understand love get together it gets pretty messy.
7. HY has always been concerned for JoJo and her wellbeing. SO was always a bit too selfish for me.
8. JoJo chose to use the spear to ring HY’s love alarm. He didn’t understand it at first but the fact that she chose him was a perfect end to Love Alarm.
I would’ve loved it if the story was longer and more was explored. I think parts of the story could have been expounded upon but I think the moral of the story is this:
Don’t let an app guide your heart. Be open to the love that’s around you. You decide your path.
Again, sorry to SO fans. I was Team Han Ji-Pyeong and Team Han Seo-Joon so I know the pain! Here’s hoping the next great show won’t have a love triangle. My heart can’t take it lol

Done watching 6 episodes of “Love Alarm Season 2”
Starring Song Kang, Jung Ga Ram and Kim So Hyun
I enjoyed watching 6 episodes in just less than 7 hours straight. Kim Jojo ended up with someone whom she really loves and I am so happy about it. Though I am rooting for the other guy since Season 1 episode 1, I am glad he still have someone by his side.
Tumblr media
I salute Yuk-jo. She definitely deserves a virtual hug for everything that she’s been through since the latter part of Season 1.. and the whole part of Season 2..
“When you promised to protect me... if anyone gave me a hard time. But who do I go to... if that person is you?”
“I won’t be here for a while. When I come back, if you still say it can’t be me, I’ll stop liking you.”
“Liking someone... isn’t something to be sorry for.”
Waiting for this for almost 2 years were all worth it!!! Go ahead and watch it, I bet you won’t stop until you’re done (in just less than a day).
Are you Team Hye-Yeong or Team Sun-Oh?

Why was Love Alarm 2 so infuriating to me?
Needless to say, but Spoiler Alert!
Tumblr media
Before telling my reasons, I’m here to say that this isn’t about teams, this is going to be about why I didn’t like season 2 me very much, and yes, it’s because of the ending, but not related to Team Sun Oh o Team Hye Yeong.
So, if you, just like me, enjoyed the first season, when it comes to the relationship Sun Oh and JoJo had… then, I think I found the reason why season 2 didn’t feel right. Before explaining, I know that JoJo’s choice is the same she made in the webtoon, but I won’t go that way.
Now, leaving a side the reasons why Sun Oh decided to kiss JoJo, even knowing ? that his best friend might like her… I truly enjoyed the first season because of the chemistry between So Hyun and Song Kang. I think they both did a really good job, and that’s why I personally truly enjoyed the first season. This couple made me feel things that I haven’t felt in a lot of time… so, yeah, we were following that couple, JoJo and Sun Oh… that felt like where the story was going… but then things changed, and the second couple couldn’t reach the expectations I had. I’m not going to lie, they are cute and sweet, but that doesn’t change the relationship Sun Oh and JoJo had…
In the second season they followed the second couple, and yes, I understand it, she moved on, fell in love with Hye Yeong and the rest is history, but I didn’t move on, and neither did Sun Oh, for the obvious reasons: JoJo never came to him to tell him what was going on, so I see why the boy had a mess in his heart. Maybe he did something, maybe he didn’t, he still didn’t know, and he wanted answers. I understand him because It kinda happened to me once… So with uncertainty, and doubts we saw Sun Oh suffering a whole season, not being able to move on, how could some of us move on too?
In most romantic movies, we are presented with a couple that might have their differences, might fight and go through ups and downs… but at the end they end up together, because that’s the power of love (not actually but I hope you understand what I mean). With Love Alarm 2… that didn’t happen… call what I wanted cliche, but that’s what I was introduced to in the first season, so for some of us, it might make sense that it was what we wanted the ending to be. And that’s why it felt disappointing, thinking that after all they went through they would be together at the end.
That’s what I wanted but didn’t happen. Instead, focusing on the real ending, we got a Sun Oh that still wasn’t able to move on, and that’s what hurted me the most. I’m not quite sure, correct me if I’m wrong, but I read that in the end of the webtoon, Sun Oh made Yuk Jo’s alarm sound. And we didn’t even get that? We were left with a “yeah, maybe - just maybe - in the future I can make your alarm sound” ? The uncertainty following this character's life makes my blood boil. Why not give him the end he deserved? The end he actually had in the original work… Even Duk Gu had an ending, knowing that he would never make Gul Mi like him, and even that ending isn’t quite clear.
What I felt is that they let Sun Oh, and other characters in a tight rope. Yes, I know this suddenly became the JoJo and Hye Yeong show, but at least give me some proper goodbyes? And yes... you can say that the scene in which JoJo and Sun Oh had a last chat, it’s the ending of what they have, the ending of his doubts… but that doesn’t make the rest of the season right… he still suffered, and a “quick let me forgive you” scene doesn’t recompense what the boy went through. This suddenly feels too much, love isn’t that much, and that’s what I would think, but I’m sure that for Sun Oh it meant a lot and that’s why It hurted him so much.
Closing the idea, as “Team Sun Oh” as maybe some of you would like to paint me as, I think that Sun Oh, and even  Yuk Jo deserved at least, a better ending and a better character development for that matter.
But don’t confuse me as immature,  I understand very well why JoJo ended up with Hye Yeong, It Just felt like the rest of the characters were there to fill the blanks and nothing else, and that felt quite upsetting.
In terms of production, I felt the season was really long, slow and meaningless. It definitely could have been better…
Little shout out to the first season who will remain as my favourite!
If you read this whole thing, then thank you! And I hope you enjoyed it!
Let me know (without hating please) if you agree with me or not!
- Emma.

Random thoughts about Love Alarm Season 2
I, like many of the Team Sun-Oh fans, was exhausted with season 2. I was supposed to write a review months ago. I'll just list random thoughts
Song Kang is so fine 😍 that always needs to be said
Jojo was cool, but she should've told Sun-Oh how she felt about the pressure their relationship put on her.
In many cultures, including SK, when a child is orphaned people believe that child has bad luck and are cursed to bring harm to others throughout their lives. It is important to look at Jojo's actions with that in mind.
I hate Hye-Yeong. He seemed to be insecure, bc of his dad being a murderer, but I just found him so unattractive. Following Jojo at the library every day, screaming her name on the bridge, he had creepy behavior but got away with it bc he is the 'nice guy'.
Sun-Oh is not better. He is jealous and selfish and feels like he has a right to be these things, bc of his messed up childhood.
Sun-Oh's parents were the most one-dimensional, stereotypical, rich and neglectful parent characters
Jojo's aunt and cousin were trash, bc the only time in the entire drama when they showed her a tiny shred of compassion is when she nearly got killed by that guy who was obsessed with her art.
Also I weirdly felt happy that the aunt and cousin got what they wanted at the end of the series. I knew that they only picked on Jojo bc they were unhappy. So them getting their own happy ending would give Jojo a break from their terror.
Finding out what happened to Duk-Gu was the only reason why I finished the series. Somewhere along the way I stopped caring about every other character.
I find the Yuk-Jo and Sun-Oh relationship so interesting. Not good or bad, just interesting. They both grew. Yuk-Jo learned that even though she loved Sun-Oh she could no longer be satisfied with their relationship being a one-way street. Sun-Oh realized that Yuk-Jo was there for him when no one else was.
