Every man in this tough world seeks for God to manifest himself. Yes, He is here but there is absence of love in our lives due to the decreased intensity of showing and sharing love towards Christ and His creation. We often decline his call and fail to see that God is offering His love to us unconditionally. Yet, Father Jun reminded and challenged all of us especially, we the members of the CFC Singles for Christ ministry, to have a heart that focuses on loving God and reclaiming Him in our lives in order for us to continue our mission — to bring Christ to others, bring others to Christ. As we continue our journey towards the road to genuine love, we should share gestures of charity because when done together it can go beyond; Let us allow ourselves to be loved by God and as one set the world on fire with generosity, courage and joy because God deserves the our best. How do we love? Do we love because we decided to do so or do we love because we are forced to do the act? These questions continued to wander in our heads as Fr. Jun delivered his talk. He challenged each and one of us to seek love and service towards others in spite of the successive unfaltering crisis. Among his discourse, he said that we are given the freedom to choose whether which paths we are going to take, but he urged us to continue seeking our God-given purpose. We are here to live, to seek for the lost, to touch the wounds to heal, to love until the very end and to allow every human being to see Christ’s discipleship within us. This pandemic triggered humanity and faith, however, we should remain faithful to our God and remember that every time we suffer is an opportunity to surrender to God's embrace.
