The Newdie Awards!!
So, now that TDB is winding down - and in honor of the final podcast, I decided to hand out a few awards for all the people who’ve helped me along the way. It’s a lot like The Office’s Dundie Awards! (only nicer).
First of all, though, I want to shout a huge thank you to all the people who’ve donated so far to the TDB Pool - to keep the podcast hosted for years to come, so new people can listen, even if we’re not producing new content. I’m amazed at how much we’ve raised so far. Thank you so, so much for all your contributions!
Secondly, a shout out to @seeroftodayandtomorrow - who diligently watched the show every week with me for the last two years. That’s quite the feat and shouldn’t be discounted. You guys try doing anything for two years straight! <3
Thirdly, not sure how many of you realize this but @nikkisrandomthingsfan has been modding @todaydreambelieversfic for years now, and does an amazing job of it. I can’t thank her enough for taking that over for me - and agreeing to continue to watch over the fic blog even after the main TDB blog ends. In addition - to all the writers, including those who did the Author Spotlights with us back in the day, and to all the artists and creators out there - I hope you keep on doing your thing. We’re blessed to have such creative talent in the fandom. Thank you, thank you <3
The Newdies!!
The Matt Rutherford: Not Here but Not Forgotten Award goes to...
All of my lovely guests who weren’t here in the finale. I’ve had the pleasure of discussing the show with so many wonderful people - and I’m grateful to all the people who took the time to be on the podcast an share your thoughts. Thank you for being such wonderful guests <3
The Blaine Anderson: Biggest Stan Award goes to...
@thedorkmark There are plenty of Blaine stans around, but I haven’t met any that have surpassed Izzie’s passion and willingness to die on any hill. And like Blaine, Izzie’s a sweetheart and a kind soul. Thank you for bringing such joy and fire to the podcast <3 <3
The Mike Chang: All Around Awesome Award goes to...
@somewhereonlyino Like Mike, Lauren’s sometimes quiet, but always brings a fun and warm attitude to the podcast. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and being such a team player. <3 <3 The Tina Cohen-Chang: Don’t Cut Me Off Award goes to...
@carojane - I’ve never met a person who stans Tina harder than Carly, someone who shares Tina’s strong will and ability to push through the hard parts with sheer determination. You’re sweet and sensitive and kind but also won’t back down from a fight. Thank you so much for everything you’ve shared over the years <3 <3
The Sugar Motta: Sweet’n’Spicy Award goes to...
@coming-up-rosie - Every time Rosie pops on to the podcast, she’s sweet’n’spicy and always knows how to liven up the conversation. While not around a lot on the podcast, like Sugar, whenever you were on you brought joy and enthusiasm - especially lovely since I kept placing you on such random podcasts. Thank you so much for your ability to go with the flow and have fun while doing it <3 <3
The Sam Evans: Always Lending a Helping Hand Award goes to...
@klaineship2 Over the years, Carmen has been such a hard worker! She’s done the entire rewatch with me, continues diligently to keep track of fics, and has even translated my and other’s fic into another language for more people to read!! Like Sam, you’re kind and dependable, and great friend who’s always there to jump in and help out. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done over the years <3 <3
The Adam Crawford: Cutie Across the Pond Award goes to...
@perfectanomaly The thing about Anny is that she’s always coming at me with an unexpected, but welcome, new point of view, and challenging me on how I see the characters. Like Adam, she’s sweet and friendly (and also European!) and reminds me that these character’s don’t always have to live in the boxes we sometimes place them in. Thank you so much for keeping me on my toes all these years, and giving me new perspectives to think about <3 <3
The Santana Lopez: Tell It Like It Is Award goes to...
@honeysucklepink - Pink, you’ve been such a firecracker over the years! Your deep love of music and glee and Darren Criss has driven your passion, and like Santana you’re never afraid to shy away from your opinions, even if they’re different from everyone else’s. But also like Santana - you care deeply about the things and people are important to you. Thank you for always bringing your massive knowledge of music and crackling stories to the podcast <3 <3
The Sue Sylvester: Kicking Down the Fourth Wall Award goes to...
@slayediest - No one on the podcast has had an insider view of production quite like Slayediest, so it’s always fascinating to hear your stories about how things probably happened on the show. But also, like Sue, you don’t really give a shit about all the nonsense going on around you, and think that most of the drama is ridiculous and silly (and it is!) and I really appreciate it about you. You have a great sense of humor, and are always reminding me to sit back and enjoy the craziness in the world. Thank you for letting me drag you on all these years, I’ve always valued your input so much <3 <3
The Marley Rose: Most Precious of Precious Muffins Award goes to...
@sleepdeprivedmind - Connie, hands down, is one of the kindest, most positive, purest people I know. I’ve never heard her say a bad word about anything, and even tries to bring a positive on some of the most negative subjects (like Will!!, lol) Like Marley, you have such a big heart and warm soul and radiate joy whenever you come on the podcast. I’m incredibly thankful to call you my friend, thank you so much for all the great conversations we’ve had <3 <3
The Mercedes Jones: Oh Hell to the No Award goes to...
@black-john-lennon - Kay was the first guest I recorded with on the show, and I’m so grateful for that first conversation, because it helped me gain the confidence that this project was something I could accomplish long term! Kay’s never been one to back down from a fight - but doing so from a place of passion and getting to the heart of the matter. Like Mercedes, you do have a sassy, won’t-back-down attitude, but I think you also share her vulnerability and big heart, and I don’t think that’s appreciated enough. Thank you so much for so many fantastic conversations, and becoming someone I can call a good friend <3 <3
The Emma Pillsbury: The Gingers Always Know Best Award goes to...
@redheadgleek - Oh, Julia, so calm and wise in her ways, she’ll always be there to lend a listening ear or be of service in whatever way she can be! Like Emma - I think you’re smart and on the nose about a lot of things, but also incredibly kind and caring. And, many people may or may not know, the backbone of keeping a lot of fandom things afloat. (She has every Klaine fic ever stored on a drive somewhere in case the apocalypse happens guys, lol <3) Thank you for always being so sweet, and listening to me ramble on with an open mind and an open heart <3 <3
The Kurt Hummel: There Are More Than Four Sides to Me Award goes to...
@kurtmckinnon - Kelley helped me redefine what a Kurt Stan could be. Believe it or not, being a Kurt fan myself, I always shied away from the term - but Kelley’s love and passion for the character, and the show, helped me be secure in my identification of being a Kurt Stan (lol). But more so, like Kurt, there are far more sides to you and you’ve always come to the podcast with a new perspective and a way of thinking that I might not have been privvy to. I appreciate so much that you kept challenging how I saw the world. Thank you so much for being such a huge, positive champion of Kurt, and always pushing me to think outside of the box <3 <3
The Finn Hudson: The Show’s Gonna Go All Over The Place Aware goes to...
@notthatbea - My dearest Bethany, my goodness where do I even start. Always there when I needed her, Bethany’s never been afraid to back away no matter what kinda crazy scheme I’ve got going on. Like Finn, she’s sometimes bumbling along with me (in a good way!) but has a huge heart and always willing to go with it now how matter how crazy and out of control things get. Thank you so, so much for becoming my good friend, for letting me take you on some of these insane adventures, and solidifying yourself in my heart - so much love <3 <3
The Brittany Pierce: Special Unicorn Award goes to...
@slayerkitty - No one has a laugh quite like Kitty’s, and it’s a delight to hear it, even when it’s for the most randomest of things. Like Brittany, she’s a little bit sweet, a little awkward, a little odd, and a whole lot wonderful unicorn - all of it wrapped up in such a delightful way. I’m sorry I cancelled your contract so many times - know that I couldn’t really imagine doing the podcast without you there. Thank you so much for your fountain of knowledge, your great sense of humor, and your deep love of all fandom things - you’re unique and wonderful in your own special way, and I appreciate that about you <3 <3
The Cooper J Anderson Emotional Tornado Award goes to...
@ckerouac - I mean is anyone really surprised by this?? RB is the ultimate emotion tornado, swooping in and creating a great time like like none other. Like Cooper - your enthusiasm never wavers, your energy is inspiring, your sense of fun is endless, and you’re always pointing me (ha) in the right direction, and I’m guessing you probably have really great hair.
Thank you for the phrase - ‘I wanna lick him nipple to navel’ and your vast knowledge of liquors, and the bangity-bang song, and the 2 out of 3 podcasters joke. Thank you for jumping in on a podcast as a pinch-hitter even when you didn’t even know what the topic was. Thank you for all the laughs and the sometimes tears and the driving me crazy but not really. Thank you for becoming one of my greatest friends - I value your friendship deeply. Just - thank you <3 <3
And one final thought - Iron Man’s better. He just is, RB, I mean really ;)
The Elliott Gilbert: Glitter Rock Vampire Award goes to...
@snarkyhag - I’m not really sure I have words to express how I feel about the one and only Le Diva Hag. You are the Glitter Rock Vampire of my world - always there, always helping, always being a life coach and a wonderful friend. I can’t tell you all the things she’s done for me over the years - because if I did it’d take up another post entirely. But know that sometimes you come to a fandom just wanting to hang out and enjoy the silly world that is your favorite story, and you walk away finding someone whose become one of your closet friends. I have nothing but gratefulness for everything she’s brought into my life.
I love you, Snarky, you are the Elliott to my Kurt, and I promise I’m never saying good-bye to you <3 <3
and finally...
The Rachel Berry: Greatest Star Award goes to...
YOU!!!
To all my listeners, and all the people who’ve contributed to TDB over the years, taking polls, giving prompts, writing stories, doing art, joining in on the conversation, or just hitting like or reblog. This blog has been made special because you were a part of it. To my real Daydream Believers - thank you for bring such joy to my life and others. You all are the greatest stars <3

TDB Rewatch Season 6 wrap FicRec s6-series and future
there are two multi-chapter fics that cover the entire season from 6.01 through 6.13
Somebody Loves You by @honeysucklepink Summary: My "nice" Klaine Advent 2015 fic: missing scenes from Glee Season Six. Chapter titles are the prompts. 6.01 - 6.13
Elevator to Home by Writesalott Summary: Starts with the Elevator kiss from 6.05 and continues with extended scenes from our favourite s6 Klaine moments: read what they were thinking and see what happened after. Branches into the 5yr time gap and beyond. Alternates between Blaine and Kurt's point of view. All happy Klaine. 6.05 - 6.13
Future Fics: some of them that have been written early in the Glee-run and therefore might be slightly AU (cause nobody could foresee the mess that s6 would become) but they are still adorable and worth the read.
The Apartment by @spaceorphan18 Summary: Just a little piece about Kurt and Blaine and their first NYC apartment, set not long after Dreams Come True. German translation soon now on AO3 and Fanfiktion.
All We’ve Ever Done by @flamingmuse Summary: They’d danced together so many times by now, and every single time had been special, because it had been the two of them. Futurefic.
4 Times Kurt Gets Cockblocked by Blaine’s Finals and One Time He Doesn’t by @wowbright Summary: Future!fic. Based on a prompt by the lovely verdandil, whom I miss: "Kurt and Blaine get cockblocked by finals. Cue frustration (in any sense) and tension and post-finals celebrations." Absolute fluff.
Refuge by trufflemores (aka @captain-truffles) Summary: Blaine is sick.
Substitute by trufflemores (aka @captain-truffles) Summary: Kurt is sick.
Tomorrow, Today Will Be Yesterday by @flamingmuse Summary: Kurt and Blaine in the future, when our now is their past.
Same Old Story by Corinna (aka @chiasmuslovesme) Summary: Love has a mind of its own.Future-fic, references 6x08.
The Love You Make by Corinna (aka @chiasmuslovesme) Summary: Blaine still loves a proposal. Future-fic, references 6.08.
It’s Getting Better and Better by @spinmybowtie Summary: Kurt and Blaine reflect on the past 25 years by looking through an old box.
all the baby and daddies!Klaine fics are here in the episode fic rec

TDB Rewatch: Home
Yay! I’m so glad we’re getting into that stretch where the show gets really good. It’s pretty much a fun ride all the way through the beginning of season 3. Like last week, I feel like - yeah, this is the show I really love. I know I always say it - but it’s funny to me there are people who are stuck on the Front 13 classic episodes as the height of the show. Because I just feel like it got good after that stretch. I feel like there’s a comment here about being ‘home’ in this stretch, but I’ll spare y’all.
Thoughts:
There’s so much Kurt - *happy dance*. I’m not going to reiterate all my thoughts here, but in case you’re wondering what they are: ALL THE KURT META AND THEN SOME.
That ending scene, though, with Kurt at the window gets me every time.
This episode is so heavy. I don’t know if they’ve done such a full dramatic episode yet. It’s so good, but incredibly heavy. Not surprised that Bad Reputation follows it, tbh.
Part of the heaviness comes from the songs, too. Everything is so serious.
Obviously, the theme is home. It fits so well with Kurt (and co.)’s story, and with Mercedes’s story. I feel like, funny enough, it feels a little weak in the Will/April story.
Will and April bore me to tears - it almost feels like a redux of episode 5. I’m kinda glad they didn’t hook up, though.
You can’t buy an public school auditorium. It’s government property--- never mind, why am I bothering?
Despite that I always zone out during it - it’s nice that they showcase just how good Matthew Morrison and Kristin Chenoweth can sing when they’re on a good song.
Also, totally rolling my eyes at Will’s speech to April about getting her shit together. I’m kinda glad she ultimately doesn’t and runs off to Broadway.
I have to wonder if the reasons Will and April’s duet was so long was because they had to cut a number due to Chris hurting himself on roller skates.
The whole roller rink thing seemed kinda pointless - and the whole glee club needs a home felt weak. It’ll be better done in Swan Song.
Meanwhile.... Mercedes finally gets a plot line!! It’s about women’s body issues and it’s done pretty well!! I’m glad she gets to celebrate who she is - but still addresses this idea that women (and people really) feel like they need to look a certain way to fit in.
I still don’t understand why they needed to redo this with Marley, if they weren’t going to build upon this standard.
I like Mercedes and Quinn’s friendship. I’m sorry it never went past season one.
Rachel doesn’t have a plot for the first time. See show - it is possible. Plus, Lea can actually do comedy. I’m sad that this is eventually given up for Always. Dramatic. Rachel.
Btw, where is Quinn living at this point? With Puck? Hm.
You know - as much as the twist with the reporter is a fascinating one, sometimes I wish Sue would really get her shenanigans thrown back in her face.
So. Finn and Carole are a different side of the same coin as Kurt and Burt. It’s such an amazing story with the four of them. And Finn and Carole’s relationship - while not getting as much attention a Kurt and Burt’s, remains one of the strongest and most interesting of the show. I love watching this dynamic throughout the episode - as Carole is as wise as Burt.
Damn can Romy Rosemont act.
Carole and Burt might be the healthiest and most realistic relationship on the show. Yeah acid-wash denim.
My ending thoughts are -- why don’t Kurt and Mercedes have a show on Bravo?

TDB’s Final Bow
Every journey has an end...
There’s a joke out there that reads - Bilbo Baggins was abruptly awoken to his alarm clock playing Don’t Stop Believin’. It was an Unexpected Journey. :D I especially appreciate that joke because Bilbo has always been one of my fictional character kindred spirits. :D :D
Four years ago, Glee ended, and I was a little at a loss for what I was going to do with my life. I knew that I had more Glee thoughts, and things I wanted to say, and I had just met so many great people in fandom, that I feared that without Glee to hold us together, I’d be left alone in the wastelands that are the internet. So, after talking it through with a good friend (@multsicorn - this is a shoutout to you) I decided to start To Daydream Believers. (And in case you’re wondering - no I didn’t spell ‘to’ wrong, it was meant to be a celebration - a toast! but also a pun.)
My intention was to give a safe space for people who enjoyed both Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson - because way back when, there wasn’t one. Either you liked one or the other, but if you claimed you liked ‘Klaine’ then you were a 12yo who counted kisses and whose opinion didn’t deserve recognition. I tried to make this space as welcoming and positive as I could - and today, it amazes me that I ever had to give such stipulations because this community has grown and learned from each other, and we have become a place where you can enjoy Kurt and Blaine equally. I am incredibly proud of that. And I’m grateful that I’ve had a small part in trying to heal a very splintered and angry fandom.
Amazingly, TDB started as just a fic prompt blog. It was meant to keep the creative spirits going and the fic flowing. But over the years it blossomed into so much more. We began to add in Author Spotlights and Tournaments and Polls and meta discussions (all of which you can find on the main blog site, btw). And then - I’m not sure how it happened but I decided I’d try a podcast and then - y’all talked me into doing the rewatch. And here we are!
I was advised early on to only keep going as long as I was having fun, and I did! But projects aren’t meant to last forever. I knew the podcast would have a finite date - Glee is, after all, a closed canon, and there is only so much one can bring to the table of a story that had long finished. I purposely timed the end of the podcast to go along with the end of the rewatch. I knew when the end would be a long, long time ago.
In truth, running this blog and doing a podcast is almost like a second job. And while I’m grateful for the experience, I was beginning to get a little worn down. I knew that it was time for me to move on with other endeavors - but I’m incredibly proud that I was able to see the project to its end. We discussed and watched every episode of the show, looked deeply into every subject, talked about every aspect of Kurt and Blaine and Glee that I could come up with. I feel like this is an extensive look at a show and characters who’ve touched so many of our hearts. And the fact that it’s now complete is amazing to me.
They say go out on a high note - and I really feel that I am.
I don’t really know how to express how much this blog, this podcast, this community has meant to me. You guys have taken me through some dark times, through some hard personal things, and brought me through us living in what is probably not the best time line (lol). But you’ve also helped me grow as a person and expand my horizons. I’ve met so many wonderful people whom I’m grateful to now call friends.
I’m no longer scared that once I wrap up my own chapter on Glee, that I’ll lose the community we’ve built. Sure, we’ll be in new, different places in our lives, talking about new obsessions and exploring new things and god I’ll say it - going into new directions. But sharing Glee will always be a bond that connects us. And that is special.
I want people to know that even though TDB is coming to its natural conclusion - fandom doesn’t have to end here.
There are still parts that will always be going. @todaydreambelieversfic will always be active as long as someone has a new fic to share. There’s the Discord Channel that will continue to be up as long as someone wants to talk about anything. And of course, you can always find me on my personal blog @spaceorphan18 to chat about anything you like! You know I’m always up for a conversation. As long as Kurt and Blaine remain in our hearts - fandom is always alive.
TDB’s end is here, but know that I’m never saying goodbye to any of you.
Glee is about opening yourself up to joy. And all of you have given me so much joy throughout the years. Thank you for being on this journey with me. <3
Much love always,
~SpaceOrphan18 xoxo

I thought TDB was just for Klaine/Blaine & Kurt things and not for items from actors personal lives...
The only person who has ever set TDB’s rules is me (SpaceOrphan) - a person who believes in celebrating love and positivity in all its forms. In the four years that I’ve run the blog - the ONLY time I’ve ever reblogged about the actors’ personal lives was to celebrate Darren and Mia getting married - because I believe that celebrating such love and happiness is in form to the spirit of this blog. And, frankly, because it’s my blog and I can do whatever I want with it.
But that said - since we’re winding down, yes, let’s take a moment to celebrate the lovely and wonderful actors who’ve made up this beautiful fictional pairing.
To Darren Criss - a beautiful, gorgeous man, who sings like a dream and really is sex on a stick. Thank you so much for bringing Blaine to life - and for singing our way into our hearts. I’m so glad you’ve found a love in your wife Mia - someone who matches your spirit and your energy, your playfulness and your sense of adventure. I only wish you a long and love-filled happy life.
To Chris Colfer - you sweet, kindhearted, celebrity kindred spirit of mine. Thank you so, so much for bringing Kurt to life for me - for being courageous enough to step into a role that was bigger than life. You’ve inspired me so much that I can’t even say… and I’m blown away by how many millions of children (many of whom I’ve met through my line of work) with your stories. I’m glad you’ve found your boyfriend, Will - whom I don’t know much about, only that I’ve never seen you smile quite like you do when you take photos with him, and that every person I know who’s met you said that you’re incredibly humble and kind and share the same good-natured values I know Chris has. I wish you both everything that comes with a love-filled, harmonious life.
And to the rest of you out there - take a moment and step away from the computer, find someone you love (even if it’s your pet!), and give them a giant hug. You’ll feel better - promise.

TDB Rewatch Wonderful Episode 4x21
“Today we are celebrating life’s most treasured and wonderful gift - a second chance.”
Stop worrying because in the end everything is gonna work out. This is the overall theme of the episode - although unfortunately this isn’t how life usually works. But still despite all the tough issues that are touched this might be one of the most joyful episodes of s4. And not just because of the bright colours after too much darkness. There is lots of Burt-wisdom and Kurtcedes-friendship (I missed this since s2) - yeah!!!
While I am bored with all the Rachel-NYADA stuff (probably because I know how she will throw away everything in the end after having stomped over her friends) I liked the other plotlines. That tiny glimpse into Artie’s family life was adorable and his fears made totally sense. I can imagine a bond between Artie and his mom very similar to the one Kurt and Burt have. Also this is the beginng of his relationship with Kitty - she was the best match for him.
It’s a shame that Will Schuester calls Rachel ‘McKinley’s biggest success story’ for having a callback when Mercedes is about to release a CD with original songs. At least he remembers her great voice even though he hadn’t used it all that much when she was in Glee Club. Mercedes’ experience with music business might be something many artists have to face - that your looks and body shape can be much more important than your talent and voice.
Kurt is such a sweetheart througout the episode. His nervous anxiety and OCD-tendencies that are finally released in a happy little song; Kurt ushering the girls around and dancing around Burt and having fun and kidding around is a Kurt we didn’t see for too long. After the good news at the hospital he’s utterly relaxed and optimistic and that’s something he finally deserved. Plus - this song has the perfect pitch for Chris’ voice.
I loved Blaine’s meeting with Burt (even though I still don’t get this ‘asking the father for permission to ask someone to marry you’ - is this actually still a thing in the US?) He is so excited about marriage equality and adding his jarring experience from the shooting and the fact that he and Kurt are on good grounds again and relaxed around each other I get why he is so determined to propose. And I want to hug him and tell him that everything’s gonna be all right after Burt turned him down. He seems so desperate and disappointed and even annoyed with Burt when he sits him down for a talk... and what a great talk Burt gives him. You’d better listen to him Blaine! He’s the voice of reason after all.
By the way, did anyone believe that they actually didn’t hook up this time???
Kurt-Blaine Things:
Given the amount of socks Kurt is packing, he’s planning on staying at least for two weeks.
“Don’t worry we’re not gonna hook up this time.”
“By the way you look cute tonight and I mean like dirty cute.”
Kurt’s dancing moving awkwardly through Superstition. LOL
Blaine: “I formally ask for you permission to ask Kurt to marry me.” Burt: “You kidding, or you nuts?”
“You get kinda cute when you get nervous.”
Other Things:
Tina tickling Kurt at the end of You Are The Sunshine
“New York isn’t exactly wheel-friendly - unless you are a bike messenger.”
“And if you ever imply again that I’m an old hag I’m gonna tip you over.”
Burt getting his rainbow pin from Blaine.
Give me all the Mercedes-Kurt interaction - yeah!!!!
I love the sene at the doctor’s office with Kurt and Burt all tense and irritable and the sweet family hug at the end (although this sadly reminds me of the next time we’ll see them gathered in a hug like this :-/ )
“When two people love each other like you two do everything works out.”

The Matt Rutherford: Not Here but Not Forgotten Award goes to…
All of my lovely guests who weren’t here in the finale. I’ve had the pleasure of discussing the show with so many wonderful people - and I’m grateful to all the people who took the time to be on the podcast an share your thoughts. Thank you for being such wonderful guests <3
The Blaine Anderson: Biggest Stan Award goes to…
@thedorkmark There are plenty of Blaine stans around, but I haven’t met any that have surpassed Izzie’s passion and willingness to die on any hill. And like Blaine, Izzie’s a sweetheart and a kind soul. Thank you for bringing such joy and fire to the podcast <3 <3
The Mike Chang: All Around Awesome Award goes to…
@somewhereonlyino Like Mike, Lauren’s sometimes quiet, but always brings a fun and warm attitude to the podcast. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and being such a team player. <3 <3 The Tina Cohen-Chang: Don’t Cut Me Off Award goes to…
@carojane - I’ve never met a person who stans Tina harder than Carly, someone who shares Tina’s strong will and ability to push through the hard parts with sheer determination. You’re sweet and sensitive and kind but also won’t back down from a fight. Thank you so much for everything you’ve shared over the years <3 <3
The Sugar Motta: Sweet’n’Spicy Award goes to…
@coming-up-rosie - Every time Rosie pops on to the podcast, she’s sweet’n’spicy and always knows how to liven up the conversation. While not around a lot on the podcast, like Sugar, whenever you were on you brought joy and enthusiasm - especially lovely since I kept placing you on such random podcasts. Thank you so much for your ability to go with the flow and have fun while doing it <3 <3
The Sam Evans: Always Lending a Helping Hand Award goes to…
@klaineship2 Over the years, Carmen has been such a hard worker! She’s done the entire rewatch with me, continues diligently to keep track of fics, and has even translated my and other’s fic into another language for more people to read!! Like Sam, you’re kind and dependable, and great friend who’s always there to jump in and help out. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done over the years <3 <3
The Adam Crawford: Cutie Across the Pond Award goes to…
@perfectanomaly The thing about Anny is that she’s always coming at me with an unexpected, but welcome, new point of view, and challenging me on how I see the characters. Like Adam, she’s sweet and friendly (and also European!) and reminds me that these character’s don’t always have to live in the boxes we sometimes place them in. Thank you so much for keeping me on my toes all these years, and giving me new perspectives to think about <3 <3
The Santana Lopez: Tell It Like It Is Award goes to…
@honeysucklepink - Pink, you’ve been such a firecracker over the years!
The Sue Sylvester: Kicking Down the Fourth Wall Award goes to…
@slayediest - No one on the podcast has had an insider view of production quite like Slayediest, so it’s always fascinating to hear your stories about how things probably happened on the show. But also, like Sue, you don’t really give a shit about all the nonsense going on around you, and think that most of the drama is ridiculous and silly (and it is!) and I really appreciate it about you. You have a great sense of humor, and are always reminding me to sit back and enjoy the craziness in the world. Thank you for letting me drag you on all these years, I’ve always valued your input so much <3 <3
The Marley Rose: Most Precious of Precious Muffins Award goes to…
@sleepdeprivedmind - Connie, hands down, is one of the kindest, most positive, purest people I know.
The Mercedes Jones: Oh Hell to the No Award goes to…
@black-john-lennon - Kay was the first guest I recorded with on the show, and I’m so grateful for that first conversation, because it helped me gain the confidence that this project was something I could accomplish long term!
The Emma Pillsbury: The Gingers Always Know Best Award goes to…
@redheadgleek - Oh, Julia, so calm and wise in her ways, she’ll always be there to lend a listening ear or be of service in whatever way she can be!
The Kurt Hummel: There Are More Than Four Sides to Me Award goes to…
@kurtmckinnon - Kelley helped me redefine what a Kurt Stan could be.
The Finn Hudson: The Show’s Gonna Go All Over The Place Aware goes to…
@notthatbea - My dearest Bethany, my goodness where do I even start.
The Brittany Pierce: Special Unicorn Award goes to…
@slayerkitty - No one has a laugh quite like Kitty’s, and it’s a delight to hear it, even when it’s for the most randomest of things. Thank you so much for your fountain of knowledge, your great sense of humor, and your deep love of all fandom things - you’re unique and wonderful in your own special way, and I appreciate that about you <3 <3
The Cooper J Anderson Emotional Tornado Award goes to…
@ckerouac - I mean is anyone really surprised by this??
The Elliott Gilbert: Glitter Rock Vampire Award goes to…
@snarkyhag - I’m not really sure I have words to express how I feel about the one and only Le Diva Hag.
I love you, Snarky, you are the Elliott to my Kurt, and I promise I’m never saying good-bye to you <3 <3
and finally…
