Are you able to do height comparisons between the characters? I doubt their canon heights were released but one can infer from their models. I'm pretty sure Zenji is the tallest out of all them (besides the octopus).

I mean. Kind of? It seems like they're all set to the same idk plane/image size so they mostly look aligned.

Besides the obvious blaring issues with the lack of responsibility they have as adults and authority figures (which I won't yap about bc everyone has already talked about this) they are SO DAMN ANNOYING

Summary: I hate their voices

Issue 1

The fucking chancellor. He's SO ANNOYING. HIS VOICE IS SO GRATING. like you're a grown ass adult man running an educational facility but he pronounces the U in desu, normal people don't pronounce the u. That's something kids do or some voice actors will do to sound cute. Why are you trying to sound cute. You're a grown ass adult man, act like it. I will never take someone who says "deeesu~! owo" seriously, like you are not in the position to be using that type of language. It's one thing to look like a kid, it's another thing to act like one.

Issue 2

Moby.... ugh. UGH. he literally pushes work onto us just to fund his stupid idol addiction, gross. He talks like a creep too. I don't like his voice. That is not the voice of a trustworthy adult that we're supposed to look up to.

Issue 3

Hyde... he's really suspicious, I don't hate him as much as the other two but I fs don't trust him. Same issue with his damn voice, why does he gotta talk like a creep? He always sounds like he's hiding something or there's a catch. Not to mention the thing with him and romeo? Sus

Issue 4

The guy working at the convenience store, I don't see the appeal. Not at all. He's not even cute like he's so average I don't see how anyone can simp for him. Also when we first met him he was literally looking at magazines of girls in swimsuits(?) I don't remember exactly but it was definitely girls in revealing "clothes". And that. Is. So. Fucking. Creepy. Like at work?? In front of students??? No. Ew. Like do that at home in the privacy of your room what the hell is wrong with you??? I think he should be fired. He grosses me out sm like why are you looking at that shit at work.

They have like 0 female staff and the reason is prolly bc the men are creeps /hj

I've changed my mind about Taiga being the mermaid. I think it's Dante. Immortality (??), he can't walk. Which everyone assumes is part of the murder attempt but what if it's not!! Dante.

Hyde says he hasn't seen Jin come out of his room for about half a year so. Yeah after The Clash.

But also if he only started holing up in there half a year ago(so around March, but Darkwick school years seem to start in September based on when the ceremony is) that means he became captain and just. Decided to never leave his room???? Did the pressure get to him immediately???? Or did something else happen???

This really changes the flow of a lot of things from my understanding because I figured he'd been captain for a while since Kaito said he was the picture of a charismatic leader before. . .but maybe he was vice captain? Or he was a good leader even without the authority to do so. . .I'll have to find when Kaito mentions Jin being a leader and see what it says in Japanese. . . .

I saw someone in JP fandom pointed this out (the fact that Jin may not be the Frostheim captain last year) and was flabbergasted at how different the wording in the EN translation is.

Honestly it never occurred to me the possibility that Jin may not be the Frostheim captain once (considering his status y'know?), but this changes things...

I wonder if this is a mistake? Since Kaito said until last year, Jin is "the definition of a Charismatic Leader"...

I don't think the tdb timeline really allows for a bad future in which a child could be born. It would more be like the kid comes from a good timeline that was infected by the Kyklos from this one slipping through the cracks somehow. She is processing the trauma of losing her family in real time as she navigates being at Darkwick

The institute would absolutely know who she is and maybe try to run tests on her. Maybe she makes a deal with Dante to not get turned in?

If a new girl shows up on campus Ed, Rui, and Kaito would try hitting on her. Could you imagine the ick knowing that was your dad?

Zenji. Just imagine having this wonderful family and then your dad is already a fucking ghost by the time he meets your mom. If he'd even be part of the au at all.

TDB Rewatch: Transitioning (6x07)

Welcome to season 6! This week we’re doing Transitioning (6x07)!

While Will is euphoric over his new job coaching Vocal Adrenaline and all the perks that come with it, he still confesses to missing the camaraderie of New Directions. After learning of a mean-spirited prank his students pulled on rival coaches Rachel and Blaine, he tries to teach his kids about tolerance by making it his weekly lesson plan. But none of them are willing to accept Will’s softer, all-inclusive style of coaching, forcing him to take a hard look at the choices he’s made in order to figure out his next move. Rachel must come to terms with the fact her family home has finally been sold and all her memories appear to be going away with it. While she is despondent over the turn of events, Samrecruits the other gleeks to stage an intervention of sorts in order to help her get past the challenging milestone with a fun, song-filled sendoff. A post-op Coach Beiste, who has changed his name to Sheldon, returns to McKinley to receive an uncharacteristically warm but typically over-the-top welcome-back from Sue. While his return has several supporters and a few detractors, it takes a bold move from several old-school gleeks to make him really feel at home again. And the romantic tension that has been brewing between Sam and Rachel finally boils over, while Kurt and Blaine find themselves in a familiar situation that brings back old memories.

I think if the wheelchair was because of Alan he probably wouldn't have needed to see the bruises/scars on his chest as proof that he was really the Dante he killed? :|a because he would've been like "your legs were fine when i killed you and i broke them so it must be you" i think.

But it looks like juvie in Japan is for people below the age of 14??? Like Ritsu told Leo he can't access criminal records for someone who went to juvie(to my understanding there just aren't any records kept if you're under 14, you just have to go to a correctional facility type of deal.)

Which means Alan killed Dante when he was a middle schooler???

Did he have the pact then? Or did he just. Bare handed kill a man as a young human teen? This raises so many more questions about why the hell he killed Dante because he was a literal child when he did? What even was their previous relationship? Because the likelihood a 14 year old just killed a total stranger bare handed is kinda slim isn't it?

Hi Danie! First of all your work is highly appreciated so thank you very much for feeding us tdb-obsessed people!

I was wondering if besides home screen chats you can access text chats as well. I reached affinity 8 (not very high) with Haku and PC just went with him on a date. I noticed a kind of pattern among texts so perhaps it works that way with all characters? Upgrading the damn affinity takes forever though!

Glad you’re feeling better than yesterday! Chicken & rice is good, please don’t be a Subaru ad eat regular meals (feel free to tell me I should mind my own business) 🫶❤️

Hellohello! It's no problem at all! If not me, someone else would've done it and I've tried to share a bit on how to do it so even if I lose my hyperfixation somebody else can come after me lol. I'm just glad we're all having a good time <:

Yes, I can see character stories! I thought all of the characters had patterns like that as well, but there isn't really one on closer inspection. Most of them have at least one interaction with another character(Romeo yelling at Taiga, Ren getting annoyed at Towa, Subaru apologizing to Haku and Zenji. . .) and two in-person interactions(except Kaito, he has one.) Haku's date, however, is off screen at this point. Maybe an on-screen one will be added at higher affinity.

Somebody asked me to post Jin and Tohma's chats, but it'll take a while because the formatting there is different from the home screen chats and I'm more tired after work or busy with certain things lately haha. Hopefully soonish. I have work homework I may need to buckle down and do on my day off though. . . .

The Affinity 8 chat is usually a prelude to the affinity 10 mini story. A quick overview of the Affinity 10 character stories/chats:

You help Jin while he's sick

You try and give Tohma some paperwork

You have a sort of study date with Kaito in his room

You help Luca with a speech he made for the welcome party the Frostheim general students are throwing him

You follow up on the story mission with Alan

You go to Leo's room to tell him things he asked you to ask Dante

You go to Sho's room to give him a gift from a certain someone

You help Haru make food to wean Peekaboo off of formula

You find Towa tormenting the zipper crocs instead of working

You sneak into Jabberwock late at night to watch a horror movie with Ren in his room

Taiga embarrasses you in public

You help Romeo when he's short staffed due to internal conflicts in Sinostra

You stalk investigate people with Ritsu

You have tea with Subaru

You wrap up the story mission with Haku

You watch Zenji perform in a concert

last I checked the Obscuary ones aren't in yet(probably today, tomorrow, or on release day.) the Hotarubi ones were in a day or two before the chapter came out.

And no worries about talking about whatever personal life things I talk about haha this is my personal blog after all. I try and eat somewhat regularly, but it's a little hard! Definitely doing better than Subaru and Haru though I can at least say that much for sure. . . .
