I see gb jo and brick as rlly diff. characters compared to their OG counterparts… They’re practically oc’s at this point haha. male jo is a femboy but still rude + athletic and female brick is uh….. kinda diff. is all I’d say :3

Bree sounds similar to Brick + it can mean noble + strong which fits his personality. Also it sounds similar to a noun (Brie’s a type of cheese) like Brick.

Jeanelle’s name is actually pretty funny. My hc’s for Jo is that his birth name is Josephine, but he shortened it to Jo to make it more androgynous/masculine. Jeanelle’s the opposite: Birth name is Jean, but she lengthens it to Jeanelle to make it more suitably feminine. Also, obviously both names begin with the letter J.
