I really like how in every scene with Kat we dig deeper and deeper into Kat’s insecurities. We started with it being about the number of people Adena had slept with, then she said to her friends it was about getting to know Adena better, being able to have honest conversations with her. But the longer she, and Adena, let this one sit the bigger it becomes and now it’s bringing up other insecurities. Bringing up Coco, it felt so real, because I can see myself thinking that if I was in her place. Again, at the core, Kat’s fears are that Adena is not as committed as she is. And it’s heartbreaking, because we know Adena is, but Kat is still not sure. Adena is everything to her, and she doesn’t realize to what extent she is everything to Adena.
