like the scene sucks otherwise bc its way too quick, in the game its all tension and building dread, but this Single Fucking Frame is so much better than just showing joker bleeding

so fucked up that the p5 anime sucks ass bc the way they did joker's murder is SO good

#☢️.txt #tbqh i honestly forgot it was only in the animation bc its become such a typical way to show the interrogation room scene #but theres something about it thats just so impactful. the slow motion. the only sound being the silenced gunshot #p5a is bad except for when akechi is there #somehow they got akechi so fucking right despite taking Ls everywhere else #tbqh i genuinely wonder if p5a ended up using parts of akechis og scrapped confidant #since the royal confidant plays out pretty differently but maintains the same themes and concepts #akechi giving joker a token to promise a rematch (that joker then holds onto as a sign that he hopes for akechis survival)#the ray gun and akechis lost dream of being a hero #(proof of justice being joker mourning + trying to figure out more about who akechi is beyond the whole revenge driven hitman thing)#(vs rank 5 with akechi vaguely threatening joker via gun about and mentioning that he played hero with a ray gun as a kid)#ik the writers mentioned pre-royal that they were unsatisfied with akechis writing due to waffling about how to handle him #which would explain why p5a portrays it as between vanilla and royal
