it wouldn't be the first time Mia did something out of pure stubborness, proving once again who her father was, and her mother too for that. it did seem like she had managed to get to Laurel, and that she understood that she wasn't going to stand down. "i knew you'd see it my way," Mia replied, and grabbed the bow, "and besides I'm a natural, and I have a lot of training." A smile played over her lips, "besides us Smoak-Queens have nine lives."

God, this girl was irritating. And yet, Laurel couldn’t help but respect her stubborn drive. Maybe it’s why she relents with a huff, her own arms coming to cross over her chest. “Fine.” Laurel’s retort is short. She knew she couldn’t let Mia go out there on her own. “But I am going with you.”
