i've decided that in modern verse, byan & si-u share a room in the group home they both live in. they definitely have some issues but, because si-u doesn't snitch when byan comes home late, drinks, smokes, etc., it's still the most agreeable byan has ever been with a roommate.

the main reason si-u doesn't snitch is that he's afraid of what byan will do if he does. however, they do also share some of the snacks they steal with him, which is pretty decent encouragement to keep his mouth shut.

#for some reason I've always been so hesitant about linking their stories but idk why???#it literally makes sense for them to share some connection both in their original setting & in their modern verses #so I'm just going for it now lmao #tbh they've probably known each other since byan was like 8 & si-u was 6 #they've known each other for a loooong time #and in a way they're probably kind of like siblings. just... ones who don't really get along super well.#every now and then they have a bonding moment where they have fun in each other's company #but for the most part they kinda just exist in the same space and aren't really friends but don't hate each other either #....VERY different from their dynamic in the undercity setting #IDK I'VE JUST BEEN THINKING ABOUT THEM A LOT OKAY the multi remake has really got my brain buzzing #( si u ) / * headcanon .#( si u ) / * verse: modern .
