it continues to prove interesting watching people dunk on eurylochus when odysseus failed in one of his core duties as a captain (keeping all crew members safe) and as first mate it is his duty to remove the captain from power if necessary. yes it was a mutiny but they don’t exactly have time to do these things legally lmao

(also, the first mate is the representative for the entire crew and voices their concerns to the captain. so it’s not just eurylochus; it’s the entire crew that has been doubting him since the cyclops)
