Quiet nights and stimulating conversation. Arm chairs in front of the fireplace with wine in one hand and a book in the other, sitting in companionable silence. He is an overwhelming, encompassing guy, but he values his privacy and intimacy just as much as values being around you.

There will be time for goofing off later, so focus on the task at hand and enjoy what time you can get with him. Axel -

A playful partner that loves to see you smile. There will be no tears when you’re with Axel!!! Tears give him hives so he will do his best to try and make you laugh even if it means causing bodily harm to himself. He hates it when you’re sad.

Every day is fun! There aren’t any boring moments with Axel because his brain is always working on overdrive. It’s hard to keep up with him sometimes so there will absolutely be moments where you need to sit him down and tell him to chill out for a bit, but you can rest assured that your relationship with never be tedious

Being with him also means being with his friends - who are your friends, too! Friends are important to Axel and it’s important to him that you can hang out with Roxas and Xion when he does without it getting awkward. Demyx is a gift giver, but it’s not like... huge extravagant gifts. It’s more along the lines of the idea that he just so happens to be at the market and he saw a hat that he thought you might like so he decided to get it for you for no reason other than the fact that it made him think of you

Duets? Absolutely. I feel like this pretty much goes without saying. He loves singing with you and enjoys hearing you belt out a tune when you’re in the shower or walking down the hallway or just playfully dancing with him in your bedroom

He can be an awkward bean when it comes to serious situations. He doesn’t like things to be too stern or serious because he doesn’t really know how to deal with it emotionally. He’ll suffer through it, but don’t be surprised if he tries to diffuse the tension by making a joke or something when you’re trying to talk about something important

Luxord -

the well-educated, refined husband with a wild streak. Luxord is like two different sides of the same coin. One one hand, he’s there if you need intelligent conversation, quiet mornings with cups of tea, curled up on the couch in front of the fire with old books. On the other hand, he can also absolutely be that husband who’s always up to something, naughty and mischievous and definitely knows more than he lets on.

He cares about you, so don’t worry. You’ll probably be in on his schemes, too, if not helping him create those schemes. He loves having you as a partner in crime.

The accent is also a plus, too, so you can brag to all your friends that your partner has a sexy accent

He licked his lips as he peered out of the dark alleyway. His red eyes flickered from person to person. Unlike a certain fallen angel, he knew to stay hidden. He hated to admit it, but he wasn’t at full strength yet. He had much to do before he could fully showcase himself as king to these worthless insects. 

A young woman. Cute, he supposed. However, he stopped when he saw she embraced a young man and laughed with him. They were together, he assumed. She was not an optimal victim. 

A large man. He was bulky and ripped, and Beelzebub wondered just how much blood was in his body. If he could just- 

He spat. He was losing control. He needed relief soon. The man was carrying a young kid on his shoulders and Beelzebub felt himself growing more faint and impatient. 

There had to be someone. 

Someone alone. 

Someone who others wouldn’t notice would be missing. He bit his nail and watched as a person he hadn’t seen before in his stay on this island. They did not talk to anyone. They did not do anything but walk quietly, a bouquet of flowers in their hands. 

No one said anything to this person. Their eyes were sullen and they looked as if they had not slept in days. It wasn’t the most ripe of meals, but he supposed it was better than nothing. He smirked and slunk back into the alley, following them in the deeper parts of the island until they made their way to a graveyard. 

Ah... so they are grieving a lost relative. 

He refrained from laughing at how pathetic they were. How unlucky they were to look so helpless in front of him at such a time. 

Truly, they were the most cursed being here to be seen like this when he was starving. 

He scoured the entrance to the graveyard. No one else seemed to be there, minus his next victim. They walked far into it, so he followed behind closely, careful to not make a sound and reveal his presence. 

At last, they stopped in front of two graves, placing the flowers in the middle of them. 

He was too far away to read the names on the graves, and he wondered about their relationship to his meal. 

“Father, mother...I am here.” They quietly spoke, their voice rasping, as if it hadn’t been used in a while. 

Their parents. He mused. He inched closer. 

“I...I uh...I brought your favorite flowers. I know you two liked when I grew them.” 

Pointless. They die anyways. Humans waste time on the dumbest tasks. 

“Ah...how long has it been since you two have been gone? I kinda lost track of time.” 

He could smell them now. 

Closer, closer, closer. 

“I forget to take care of myself. I can hardly eat or sleep.” 

Closer, closer, closer. 

“I...I wish I was taken too...I can’t handle this loneliness...”

Closer, closer, closer. 

“I hate existing! It’s unfair! I hate this!” They cried. He couldn’t control his ragged breaths. The crying, the screaming, the hunger. It all blended in his mind until he leaned over and extended his claws towards them. 

I’ll eat you alive, pathetic human. 

With a simple swipe he had covered the mouth of his victim and watched as they struggled helplessly in his arms. 

“Sh. You said you wanted to cease existing. Allow me to grant you your wish.” He smirked as they looked at him with fearful eyes. It only spurred him on further. They were shaking, frozen as he revealed his fangs at them. “I like when my meals are afraid. I think you’ll taste good enough.” 

Their face paled before they passed out in his arms. 

“Tch.” He sneered. “Pathetic.”

He leaned down and examined their neck, feeling the hunger in him rise to its peak as he barred his fangs to finally get the chance for a meal. As his fangs grazed the surface of their skin, he smelled another presence nearby.

“Hey! What are you doing?” A man yelled. Beelzebub glared and quickly huddled the person under his cape, before he dramatically swiped it and used his magic to teleport.

It would drain a lot, but since he had a guaranteed meal, it wasn’t so bad. He couldn’t risk causing much of a scene yet with the village. He needed to lay low.

The figure in his arms was still passed out, sleeping peacefully as he eyed their face. They were tired, and if what they said was true, they hadn’t done much to care for themselves.

As much as he hated doing so, he was going to have to freshen his meal up.

You awoke in a dark and musty room, one that smelled of mold and rotting wood. You coughed at the dust surrounding you as you attempted to look at where you were.

This wasn’t home. In fact, what happened before you-

Before you could think about your day, you stared back into glowing red eyes. Those eyes... those were the last things you remember seeing before you passed out.

Your heart raced as you backed up to the furthest corner of the bed.

“S-stand back! Stay back! Don’t touch me!” You yelled.

He let out a sound of disgust and stepped closer.

“Don’t be full of yourself. I’m not here to touch a worthless roach like you right now.” He snapped. “Know your place, mortal.”

“M-mortal? What do you mean?”

“Do you not have a brain? It means you are beneath me.” He replied sharply. He tossed an apple at you. “Go. Eat.”

“W-what, I-“

“I said eat.” You nervously took a bite of the apple and he watched you with an intense frown.

You awkwardly chewed the fruit and tried to eat it as fast as you could for fear of how he’d react. He tapped his foot impatiently and watched you, and you felt yourself shaking under his gaze.

You finished the apple and within an instant he slammed a glass of water in front of you.

“Drink. I need you to be hydrated.” Due to the anxiety and nervousness, you chugged the class of water. Despite the situation you were in, you exhaled in relief as your body felt rejuvenated.

“Thank you.” You quietly said.

“Should you really be thanking me?” He sneered. “I’m not doing this out of kindness.”

You knew that. And yet, despite all that, you couldn’t care.

“So, are you gonna kill me now?” You said.

“So ready to die? Do you accept your fate so easily.”

“It’s just like you said earlier. I can’t fight you. I can’t possibly escape from you.”

“You’re not gonna even struggle?” He chuckled. “Giving is so easily?”

“I guess.” You sighed.

“Enough chatter. I’ve wasted enough time.” He said.

“What are you-“

You couldn’t speak before he quickly pinned you down with one hand, and the reality of it all rushed over you. He bared his fangs at you, the sharp canines glistening and his mouth practically drooling.

You knew what you said before.

But why did you suddenly care now?

You bit your lip and whimpered pathetically as he grinned maniacally at your now panicked expression.

“Do you now understand the situation you’re in? Do you truly get what I’m about to do to you?” He cackled.

“W-Wait-“

“I’ve waited long enough.”

“But! Wait! Why me?” You yelled. At the very least, if you were to die here and now, you would at least know why you were the one chosen.

“‘Why me’, you ask? Why you? Easy. Because you’re nobody.” His words cut deep into you like a knife. “You’re a nobody. You have no one. You’re pathetic, you’re all alone and no one cares for your existence.”

“But I know someone will! Someone will-“

“Who’s going to come for you? You were practically catatonic before I decided to take you. Do you think a waste of life like that is useful? Do you think you’re special? Do you think you offered me something of value besides being my next meal? Don’t think too highly of yourself, fool. You are nothing more than a blood bag. You are nothing to me.” He stated.

You could only stare back at him. What was there to say? He was right. You weren’t special. Moments ago you had professed you didn’t care about your own life. You closed your eyes and leaned your head to the side, giving him more access to your neck.

“Oh? What’s this? Have you already lost your will to live?”

“No. I’m afraid. I’m... really afraid. So I... I wanna offer you a deal.”

“A deal? Do you really think now you should be bargaining?”

“I got nothing else to lose.”

“Hmph, go on.” He raised an eyebrow. “You have a few moments.”

“How many other people have you done this to?”

“You’re supposed to make a deal, not ask a question.”

“I want to know.”

“Fine. I can entertain your dumb thoughts for a bit. I have done this to about... seven other people.”

“And what happened to them all?”

“I drained them of life. They’re all dead, probably feeding the termites below.”

“Then allow me to remain as your sole blood donor.”

“And why should I agree to that? What makes you so special that I should keep you alive?”

“People are going to get suspicious after a while. You killed seven people already. And I’ll be a constant meal for you, so you have me whenever you wish. It should be simple for you to get.” You don’t know where that last sentence came from, but you were determined to not roll over and die.

“Hmph. And you’re willing to remain here on the offhand chance I don’t drain you?” He asked.

“Yes. And I don’t care what you think of me. I don’t wanna die by your hands like this so... I’ll do what it takes to live.” You stated. The newfound acceptance for life made you want to clench to that feeling forever. “So, do you accept my deal? You don’t kill me, and I’ll stay here for you to feed on.”

He hated the fact you were right. It was an obvious choice, really. He couldn’t continue snatching more people up. Having a constant supply versus hunting at the last minute would perhaps heal him faster. He pursed his lips.

“Fine. But don’t think I’ll go gentle on you.” He leaned down and you felt him press his fangs into the flesh of your neck. The teeth broke your skin, and you covered your mouth with your hands to refrain from crying in pain.

He hissed as he tasted the blood from the wound he punctured on you. It’s been so long. And he was so damn hungry.

He placed his lips around the mark and sucked the blood inside. You bit your lip at the odd sensation. The pain had melted away and was quickly replaced with a euphoric pleasure, one that you were incapable of describing.

You’ve never felt this relieved, scared, enthusiastic, and excited as you did now. All your emotions swirled in you as he continued to lap at your blood with his tongue. You couldn’t think straight, merely acknowledging the feeling of him on top of you and the desire for more.

More of what? You couldn’t tell. Only that you wanted more of this euphoria, this pleasure, and this feeling that was so much more special than anything you had ever experienced in your entire life.

You dug your nails into his shoulder blades, and he didn’t seem to feel it as he continued drinking from you.

“Please-“ you struggled out. Your breath was uneven as you threw your head back, giving him more space for him to access.

“Shh... you make too much noise...” he mumbled before he continued.

It was quiet, all except for your ragged breaths and the sound of his mouth on your neck. You felt the high of this new feeling before he pulled back and left you struggling to catch your breath on the mattress. You almost missed when he was sucking your blood, funnily enough.

Beelzebub seemed to have a hard containing himself too, given his heavy breathing as he wiped his mouth of whatever excess blood there was.

“Is that... what it’s supposed to feel like?” You stammered.

“Apparently so. My victims had all responded positively to the bite. I guess it has a sort of euphoric reaction to you humans. I should test that more with you soon.”

You nodded yet flustered at how embarrassing that was. This man kidnapped you yet you were lying helplessly asking, begging, craving more.

Foolish. This was absolutely foolish.

You placed a hand where he bit you and winced at the slight burn you felt. It would probably take a while to heal.

“Now, mortal-“

“I have a name.” You cut him off. He glared.

“Don’t get cocky with me. You’re lucky I spared your life.”

“I’m just saying, since we’re gonna do this for a while, the least you could do is call me by my name.”

“Insolent... then what is your name?”

“It’s (Y/n). And what is yours?”

“Beelzebub. Beelzebub of the Astral High Council.” He stated.

“Huh? An astral? I thought you guys were gone...” your eyes widened in shock.

“Did you really think you pathetic humans could rid of us so easily? How amusing.”

He stood up and walked over to the door, his massive back facing you as he paused when he gripped the handle.

“Night is upon us. Rest now. I will have you in the morning before I sleep. You are not allowed to leave unless you have my express permission. And if you dare reveal the truth about me or our deal, I will kill you and everyone else on this pathetic island. Don’t test me. I don’t have the patience to deal with a good-for-nothing pest.” He threatened. He opened the door and slammed it behind him as he walked away.

You processed his words and were reminded that once again, you were not in your old home. This was your new home, one where you would be under his command. You feared the future, yet strangely were looking forward to a visit from him. Perhaps your once dreadful life could have some use and purpose again.

The thought relaxed you as you closed your eyes and huddled closer to yourself in the bed. Whatever you were getting into, it wasn’t going to be easy.

★ Otori loves that you can deal with him. He loves how you listen to him and understand how he’s feeling whether he is happy or sad.

★ Otori dislikes fighting a lot. He had a lot of fighting with Hiragi and his teammates when he was at Ayanagi, so he also doesn’t deal with apologies well. He’ll try to brush off any problems or disagreements you have by making it up to you with his actions rather than his words. 

Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

★ Otori usually shares things with you. If he’s feeling down because of something, he’ll share with you. It took him awhile for him to tell you things about his past with Hiragi and teammates since they’re over all of it now, but once he did, you understood and comforted him. 

Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

★ Otori does have a habit of dealing with certain situations in roundabout ways, so you would help him with dealing with his feelings. If Hiragi and him get in another argument, you’re there to help him straighten things out again! You help him mend the relationship between him and his grandfather as well, no matter how tough it is.

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

★ Very casually. He'd just confess and say it like he was saying something as normal as commenting about the weather.

★ Except, it’s “I really like you. Go out with me.”

★ It catches you by surprise but you accept because you feel the same!

★ When he tells you he loves you, it's the same way. 

★ You two are hanging out at a cafe or something and you’re taking a sip of your drink, when he stares at you affectionately and says, “I love you.”

★ Otori realizing he wants to marry you will happen suddenly. He won’t be thinking about it, but something suddenly clicks and he realizes. This is one thing that he’ll want to plan out rather than blurt out. 

★ But, one day you both are eating together, and you go to grab drinks, and Otori realizes he wants this with you all the time. The ring in his pocket is heavy, and by the time you return, it’s out. He kneels down and asks you the question as you stare at him with two drinks shaking in your grasp with your answer waiting for him. 

On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

★ He’s really on cloud nine! He talks about you all the time with coworkers and friends, sometimes they have to snap him out of it so that he can pay attention to what he’s doing. Whenever you call or visit, he drops everything he’s doing to be with you. 

★ All in all, he’s very open about his love for you! 

PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

★ Oh yeah he brags about it especially to Akatsuki and Hiragi. It’s mostly fun to rub it into Akatsuki’s face, and of course he would share it with his dear brother! 

★ He kind of stopped telling Yuzuriha though, because he gets weird by saying strange things… coming from the most romantic countries on Earth, he gets a little weird. 

★ He’s not shy from PDA at all. He likes holding your hand a lot, and even hugging you when he greets you.

★ Otori is a good mix of both. He can be really romantic cheesy, but that mostly makes you laugh when he over exaggerates things! 

★ He likes to be more creative with most things. Doing crazy things that end up being more fun and exciting, but still make your heart race from doing it with him.

Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

★ Yes, of course! Otori is accepting and fully believes in whatever you want to do! If there’s anything he can do to help you, he will! If you need to study, he’ll give you the best study space and conditions you need. Overworked and need a break? Otori loves taking you out on walks to calm you when you need to destress. Activities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

★ Hiragi likes reading with you! He likes reading books out loud to you. And if it’s not a book, then he likes reading his script to you. Since he’s always doing his best with his acting, reading his script several times is the way to go! And if he can hold you while he does, then so be it, he won’t complain. 

Beauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

★ He appreciates your thoughtfulness. You seem to know how to deal with situations when they arise and how to placate situations. He loves that you are a perfect balance to him, that you can handle his tight schedule and strict habits, but are also able to help him relax and loosen up at times. 

Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

★ Side by side, of course! He can’t imagine his future without you, now that you’re a part of it. He’s busy striving to be an actor, but he wants you to be with him, whether he makes it or not. He hopes to be a top star and to take you to all the places you want to go to with him. 

Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

★ Hiragi is kind of dominant, only because he likes things in his life to be on schedule and routine. He likes getting things done in a well timed manner, so when it comes to you, he of course wants things to be perfect too. And when things don’t go as he planned, it’s up to you to comfort him and let him know that all that matters is spending time together.

Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

★ You and Hiragi wouldn’t have outright fights. There'd be more disagreements or small arguments, since Hiragi is rather logical and is able to maintain composure in difficult situations. Disagreements between the two of you might come from him spending too much time away from you because of him being too focused on work. 

Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

★ Hiragi would hide things that stress him about work. Like an actor called off their role or the script had suddenly changed, things like that. It would take some coaxing from you to have him open up about the things that are bothering him, but once he does, you do your best to comfort him. 

Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

★ You definitely help him with his acting. If there’s ever a scene that he can’t express correctly, he’ll think of you. Whether it be how you would handle yourself in such a situation, or just think about you in general, it’s sure to help him! 

★ You also help him open up to his family members like Otori or his grandfather more. You help him have a better and healthier relationship with them. 

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

★ Planned to the T. Very traditionally but with help from Otori, he gets a little creative. He originally planned to give you a bouquet of flowers and a dinner date, but decided to follow Otori’s advice and go with the flow of things. He instead got you a few flowers and took you out on a walk, where at the end he begins to tell you how he feels. 

★ Except he can’t get the words out. He’s a stuttering mess now that you’re in front of him and oh, have you always looked so beautiful? 

★ It takes you a minute for you to understand what he’s trying to communicate. 

★ You take his hands to calm him and just say yes.

Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

★ Again, Hiragi wants to be traditional and be the one to propose to you. He plans out a private dinner with just the two of you. After dinner where does he take you? Well, the same place he asked you out! 

★ To your surprise, while you have your back turned, he gets on one knee and surprises you with a ring. 

★ He starts to give you a stiffly rehearsed speech, but stops and says what he’s feeling in the moment. 

★ “...And so, will you marry me?” 

★ Your hands have been over your mouth in shock the entire time, so you finally lower them to give him your answer. 

On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

★ He gets a little dazed when he thinks about you too much, so he tries not to think about you when he’s at work. However, when you call him, his face splits into a smile that he can’t help, and everyone sees the way he lights up when he talks to you. 

PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

★ He’s not shy about admitting his relationship with you when asked, but he is very down low with PDA. 

★ It takes him a long time to allow hand holding out in public, but he’s still not allowing kisses or hugs in public! He barely allows it in front of his friends. 

Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

★ Hiragi is pretty cliche. He’ll read about romance and use what he learns on you. Of course you can tell when it’s really planned. You do your best to calm him and tell him to not worry if things aren’t perfect. As long as you’re together, things will be great. 

Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

★ No matter what you want to do, Hiragi is supportive. You don't know what you'll do either? He’ll help you plan it out. Together you'll have the next five years of your life planned out. (And don't forget his involvement in it.)

React: S/O has a down period - no specific cause.

Some days just don’t feel all that good, and that’s okay. It’s always alright to let yourself feel sad - it’s shown that people tend to feel unhappier when they think they should feel something that isn’t what they’re thinking. This is when people sometimes just feel really shitty, and the day just makes it feel kinda worse. Lately I’ve had an unusual down period, wish me luck that my first psychologist works for me ^_^ 

I did include Nathan in recovery and Jefferson pre-murder-y, and since this divulges from canon, it probably seems really out of character. I’m gonna warn the readers before the canon-timeline Nathan and Jefferson’s response because this is a piece meant to gear to someone who’s not feeling very well, and tbh, they’d be really shit at comforting someone. 

Disclaimer: Feel free to interpret how you like, and to start a discourse if you think my interpretation could use a tweak or two~

Max Caulfield

Max definitely notices that you’re not feeling well. At first, she doesn’t make a comment on it, not wanting to live up to her reputation as ‘nosy’ but she asks a little while later, worried. 

Upon hearing that you’re not feeling too good, and you yourself aren’t so sure, she’s initially clueless on how to comfort you. Max is surprisingly goal-orientated, preferring there to be some sort of cause she can alleviate or use her time-travel powers to help you. When there’s nothing to ‘solve’, she feels strangely restless.

She first suggests going out together to the Two Whales diner because it’s a familiar place that serves nice food, and she thinks that being away from the campus might make it a little less stressful. That, and, she can have a conversation with you about how you’ve been feeling and if there’s anything she can do.

It’s a sweet little date, and after that, you both can just walk around town, hand in hand sharing music through earbuds, before taking the bus home. She’s a comforting presence after a long day, who is very much in-tune with your emotions.

Chloe Price

She’s torn between giving you space and coming right up to you trying to pull you up because she hates seeing you like this but at the same time, she understands that sometimes, space is what’s needed. She’d never force comfort on you. She can really empathise with how you’re feeling, especially because she’s been in an emotionally terrible place. 

However, if she had her way, she’d take you out on a drive when the sun sets or when it’s nighttime and blast the music with the windows opened, to let the wind run through your hair, eventually parking somewhere where you both can sit and she can ask you what’s been going on, or where you can just cry on her shoulder.

If you’re irritable-not-feeling-good, then she encourages a more aggressive outlet, which is the way she vents her anger.

In general, her comfort is a bit more external, because she understands that if there isn’t a specific cause for your mood, it’s difficult to talk you into feeling better. 

If anything, she’ll play music on her phone and slow dance with you in the junkyard, away from everything, then stargaze. 

Warren Graham

He picks up on your down period early, because he has a slight tendency of being a little hyper-vigilant on how his s/o seems to behave, ready to jump in as soon as there seems to be a cause. 

He’s a little awkward about comfort, because he doesn’t want to overstep boundaries, but you’re his s/o, he cares a lot about you and doesn’t want to see you like this. Despite this awkwardness, you can tell that he is sincere in his actions. 

He asks you if you’re okay as soon as he sees you seem down, although he asks in a casual/slightly comical but caring manner. He’s patient and is more than willing to let you lay everything him.

If you want him to cheer you up, he proposes going for a drive-in date where you both can cuddle up and watch a movie, with the experience of an informal cinema, and you’re free to talk to him about anything at the time. 

Warren’s probably the most supportive guy you’ll come across, and the last person to come across as overbearing. If you choose to see someone for your moods, he’s 100% supportive and willing to come along and wait outside the room/office for you, if you ask.

Kate Marsh

This bean knows all about sad days. She’ll wrap you up in a blanket and make a cup of tea, offering an ear if you need one. If it’s just been a bad day, she’ll shower you with love and hugs. 

If there’s something specific bothering you, or a whole chain of events that just lead to this, she’ll be the most patient angel listening to you, validating your emotions and helping you understand that sometimes, you don’t need an excuse to feel sad, and that experiencing emotions are normal. 

If you haven’t been taking care of yourself lately due to your moods, she’ll help you out. For example, if you haven’t been eating, she’ll try to cook something for you - she’s not a fantastic chef but she can serve up a meal or two. If you haven’t been sleeping well, she’ll see what she can do to help, whether it’s read you a book or play some lullabies.

She’ll encourage you to get some fresh air and take a walk around in a park as the sun goes down, bringing along that old-fashioned picnic basket. 

There might be a few soft kisses - on your cheeks, forehead, nose, and lips. She’ll tentatively ask you if you want to seek help for your down period, and is respectful of your answer. 

Victoria Chase

If there’s no cause for your sadness, she feels at a loss for words. She wants to help you but she doesn’t know exactly what would ‘cheer you up’. It might sound like she’s dismissive, in that she thinks that there’s a clear solution, but it stems from wanting there to be a clear solution - dealing with Nathan is already difficult, and she doesn’t want all her close relationships to be stressful.  

She eventually asks you if you’d like to go out together and window-shop/shop in general. She doesn’t want you staying and moping in your room all day, thinking a walk around and maybe an ice cream date would cheer you up.

If you do go out, then she’ll buy you something that you like but decide not to spend your money on. She’s not as rich as Nathan, but she still has a considerable amount of money and doesn’t mind spoiling you to cheer you up every so often. 

She really wants to pamper you, like take you out for a spa day to just relax and forget about your problems. Or offer to smoke marijuana. (As someone who isn’t familiar with the culture, I didn’t write much here haha ^_^;;) 

If you really, really don’t want to go out… then she’ll reluctantly stay. But expect her to pamper you at home then, with a bath and the works - bath salts, essential oils, a little bit of alcohol, tea candles, and music. She’ll sit next to you, dipping her fingers in the water and asking you how you feel. If you let her, she’ll join you. Expect a few kisses.

Recovering!Nathan Prescott

Assuming Nathan is receiving the appropriate treatment and in a supportive environment (FUCK OFF SEAN PRESCOTT), post-Jefferson. 

He’s not in the best place to offer support since he’s currently in the middle of figuring himself out as well, but he offers what he can and it… it’s surprisingly good. A little similarly to Chloe, he’s been in a really shitty place and can empathise with you. While he always had cause to feel upset, he knows how it feels to suddenly just drop in your mood. 

Even though he’s not the guy who can healthily cope with someone who’s not feeling well (since he has his own issues), helping someone he loves does validate him a little bit, easing his feelings of uselessness and being disposable.

If you wanted to watch something to take your mind off of it, he’d pop on New Romantics and sit next to you and might occasionally make snide comments to try cheer you up. He’d watch your facial expressions to see if it was working - if not, he’d eventually be quiet and just sit next to you, letting you lean into him and pressing a soft kiss on your head. 

If you just seem upset and don’t mind him to do whatever he wants to do to cheer you up, he’d turn off the lights and close the blinds. Not for anything sexual, but just to cuddle with you and play some whale noises - things he used to have done to make himself feel better. It’s not for the sole purpose of feeling better, but it’s a good environment to cry in, especially if there’s nothing to be said because sometimes you don’t know why you’re upset. It’s good for catharsis, and if you don’t feel better, you’ll at least know that he’s there for you. 

If it seems like your mood has lasted for a good long while and affects your daily routine, he tries to ‘casually’ slip by the idea of seeing his therapist, but would completely drop it if you refuse.

Young!NotMurdererYet!Mark Jefferson

In general, Mark is a pretty distant person, especially with emotions. It’s not that he doesn’t experience emotion, but more that his empathy isn’t really tuned. However, he is adept at mimicking emotions and knows the appropriate responses to accommodate distress.

He does care for you, not as much as himself, but enough to not want you to be miserable. He’ll use his knowledge to comfort you, whether it be by listening, physical contact or just being a bit more considerate and affectionate than he’d normally be. 

Even though some people might say it’s disingenuous, since he’s drawing on his ‘social norms’ knowledge, and his version of ‘comfort’ is unusually structured, you could also say that he decides to actually do something about your sadness because he cares about you to some extent, instead of ignoring you and continuing with work that could be seen as more productive. 

He wouldn’t go out of his way to do something that disturbs his schedule too much, but if he sees a florist on the way, he might pick up a bouquet.

:: Now comes canon-timeline Nathan Prescott and Mark Jefferson, whose reactions are considerably less… considerate. If you’re not feeling very well, don’t read because it’s unlikely that their reactions would make you feel any better ::

Nathan Prescott

He has a lot of shit on his plate, even though he doesn’t want to dismiss the feelings of someone he loves, he’s too busy neck-deep in his own issues to notice if you haven’t been feeling well. This… probably doesn’t help. 

If you act irritable, it’s a recipe for disaster - he already feels like the world is against him and this is just making it worse. He’ll snap back without much thought as a defence from feeling hurt, ending in a fight where nothing is solved and both of you are just feeling even worse. 

If you act particularly melancholic to the point where even he notices, he’ll ask what’s wrong because he cares, but he’s not the most attentive or supportive person. How is someone who’s breaking down able to support others? He just… he doesn’t have the energy to help in a long-term way, he can only offer a shoulder to cry on or drugs/alcohol to forget everything. If there’s anything his money can offer, he’ll buy it, but other than that, it’s pretty difficult for him to support you. 

If anything, as soon as you tell him how you’ve been feeling, it worsens his feelings of being incapable or ‘not worthy’ to have you, because he doesn’t know what to do.

Mark Jefferson

Coming to this guy with your vulnerability exposed is such a terrible, terrible idea.

If he has need of you, he’ll be the comforting, sweet lover who says everything that you want to hear, soothing you. He’ll use this show of kindness as a way to guilt you into fulfilling whatever use that he has of you, and as a ‘get out of jail for free’ card when he gets angry and hurts you.
