#tbh half of my reasoning for giving sailor the role they have is just that it’s fun to imagine them both as space pirates lol

Lucky do you have any favorite pieces of media from the psychological horror genre? Feels like its a genre that matches ur interests very well 👉🏽👈🏽
there are a couple that really speak to me!
first is rule of rose, which is a game that is incredibly formative to me. in a time where i was looking for representation as a young gay person and REALLY into looking up wiki pages for horror games, rule of rose showed me the symbolic trauma of puberty and toxic ‘love’ between girl children and the violence of patriarchal figures that i was looking for. it showed such cruelty but also such strength in its main character, and the symbolism? exquisite.... it also just has such a creepy atmosphere and the fact that the game is near impossible to play along with its shitty graphics for the enemies makes it so. peculiar and creepy in a very special way to me.
catherine is another atlus game near and dear to my heart, tho i dont  think i’m ever going to be playing full body for that exact reason. it’s a game basically about eugenics and misogyny, about gods&devils thinking of women as only reproductive objects and the men in their lives that ‘waste their reproductive time’ being tortured and killed for it, taking away a woman’s choice. i always thought it would be so interesting to do trans and lesbian takes on this game, and i have never really? stopped thinking about how this game is so thrilling in its themes of entitlement and stopping people’s freedom to love as they wish. this is also one of the only horror games in which the ‘human element’ actually interests me. so many horror games give u terrible people and i dont give a FUCK ABOUT THEM. but the way this game shows u just snippets of his life as a ‘break’ from the excruciatingly scary (to me, because time limits scare me LOL), stressful as hell puzzles. and u get to figure out the mystery of what is going on in people who would otherwise be boring to you, but in this game are shrouded in just enough mystery that ur actually interested in their boring day-to-day lives. its so satisfying just to drink with ur buds. its like really great gameplay to me tbh. i also just love katherine and catherine and they frusturate me so much and that’s exactly what they’re supposed to do which i LOVE. extremely effective atmosphere setting and worldbuilding, basically.
the lighthouse is my favorite horror movie tbh because it does suspense so well. the movie is literally themed around suspense, the suspense of not getting sexual satisfaction to completion, of being touch starved and lonely and repressed, of being able to hold ur boss but never kiss him, of being fed lobster but it tastes flavorless and bland and u can smell ur boss’s farts the whole time while he prattles on with disturbing sailor’s tales and barks out orders until he’s lulled into his drink. i honestly love this movie. and the acting is brilliant and unhinged
there’s a few indie games i really like that have been either formative to me or i just??? really like their vibe and i can basically tell from them i would like every game in the ‘genre.’
pocket mirror to me is like, this beautiful game about your own inner toxicity and escaping from yourself. i love indie 64-bit games like this, the background art is so beautiful, and while i’ve never played all the way through it because it scares me too much---i love ib and all the games in the ‘ib’ genre LOL.
doki doki literature club i know is a very strange game to like, but i enjoy it for letting the women be actual characters with their own thoughts and feelings. the pychological horror movie ‘i’m thinking of ending things’ is the exact opposite of this game.'i’m thinking of ending things’ is a backwards approach to feminist horror in my opinion. it’s from a male’s perspective of his hallucinations of a girl that once didn’t give him a second glance and his violence towards her in these fantasies. it takes itself painfully seriously. it pretends to deconstruct something that the director helped soldify (the manic pixie dream girl trope) in the public eye. doki doki literature club on the other hand, the passive character who ‘things happen to’ is the man. the active roles all go to the women in the game and what they do to themselves in order to be loved by not just a man, but the player, and in doing so they often become the all-knowing god of their own prison. like tell me that’s not the dopest thing u’ve ever heard of!
twilight zone is a big one for me but 5 episodes in particular have shaped how i view horror forever. ‘to serve man’---where the greatest, scariest thing in the world is not being able to understand the language another person is actually using and for them to manipulate u using ur own, actually wishing u harm as they placate you with your own interpretations. the episode where a rich man’s last will and testament is for his vain, selfish relatives to wear a mask until midnight that reveals symbolically how ugly they are to him. they bicker all night with petty squabbles, and then at midnight he reveals the mask has permeanantly shaped their faces to reveal who they really are and the abuse he suffered under them. the cornfield episode still scares the shit out of me as someone with an entitled younger brother whose entitlement and anger is often enabled by those around us, and i’ve always thought that it was such a good show of like, how patriarchy enables little boy’s violence. the episode ‘all the time in the world’ where an abused man with a shitty life is finally the last man on earth and he can do anything he’d like to do and all he wants to do is read but then he breaks his glasses. and finally! the episode where toys in a box come to life and bemoan their fate as they realize they will be trapped there forever in clothes and identities they do not recognize. these episodes always scare the shit out of me LOL.
besides that i really like. low-budget passion project indie games. the first that comes to mind is ‘the path’ which is about a family of four sisters of various ages all inspired by little red riding hood who stray from the path and are hunted by the woodsman. and then the game that YOU my dear myers! showed me! that haunts me to this day. basically a tape talks to you about the areas of a house and then starts to talk about the house as a living creature. and the living creature is hungry, without you inside it. the living creature is tired of being alone, it’s tired of being abandoned, it’s tired, and it’s eyes are empty with no one in the windows, and it’s mind is blank with no one in the bedroom, and it’s hangry there’s no one in its basement to feast on, to torment as it has been tormented by disuse.
last but not least, i really enjoy the book ‘sharp objects.’ which is not technically a horror novel. but it is about a serial killer, and about women and abuse and it has some of the best writing ever. so i highly recommend it AND the miniseries (watch the miniseries first then read the book bc the miniseries is like. directed better? but the novel is written and characterized better. it’s also very short u can finish it in like a day and a half).
honorable mentions for horror In General (not necessarily psychological horror) are: 1) the birdcage. i honestly consider this movie entirely unsettling. robin williams failing to portray a man that is actually attracted to nathan lane, which could be because they have simply been married so long but also is just awful to me in general bc it makes me feel like even our outwardly gay but still more masc gay men can’t love and be attracted to femme camp gays even when they’re married to them. the fact that both these men that could be so in love, that were so in love at one time, you can at the very least imagine, are told by their only son that they need to go back in the closet to impress some old ass republicans, giving the message that no matter how succesful you are in the gay community, no matter how bright and wonderful a presence you are, no matter how loving you are, no matter how much you love, no matter how interwoven you are in lgbt-ness, the straight people you love most will still try to change you to impress the wold. horrifying.
2) coraline. its children’s horror but that’s still horror baby! i think lately about how much the movie talks about mothers and birth. coraline calls whybie ‘why born’ and i just think about how much she thinks about creating a new life with a new mother, and how going through that small door into a long tube... it’s like crawling into a new womb and being reborn to a new mother that loves you. and that’s horrific from a feminist perspective in and of itself---that your child would feel so unloved and unimportant to you that she would literally... rather die in this life, technically, rather be ‘unborn’ to you and born anew to someone, someone just like you but better, someone just like you but what SHE wants a mother to be, feminine and skirted and smiling. and then there’s the fact that coraline only gives this up when she realizes her other mother basically wants to change her more to suit her liking in ways that would cause her pain, at which point she realizes this whole fantasy is a lie, not real, something meant to entice her and control her and make her ‘perfect’---the same way she wants her mother & father to be ‘perfect’ in a way that causes her to act out and hurt them. it’s psychological horror that’s technically not psychological horror in the best way, something you can really dig your teeth into, something that has so many layers to it. and the animation! gorgeous!
3) finally i have recently watched annihilation. and it kind of changed my life a little bit.... so often we’re used to viewing monsters as either 1) malicious or 2) romantic/sad/sexy. but the monster in this movie is literally a metaphor for cervical cancer.
to me, the monsters and the corpses and all the beautiful scenery in this movie, in every color u can think of, a muted rainbow of flowers and nature at its best and most bizarre and sprawling. i often say that monsters are beautiful, but tbh, i feel like... somehow i always mean that in a way that is near-fetishitic, somehow self-depcrating way, where i want to consider what other people think is ‘ugly’ is ‘beautiful to me’ because what i am also ugly to other people as a monster to the cishet white patriarchy. there are things i consider beautiful, certainly, purely beautiful. but when i talk about monsters being beautiful, it is in the way the sublime is beautiful. it scares me, it haunts me, i love it, i want to possess it as part of me, a totem to carry in my back pocket to make the strength in my own ugliness stronger.
when i saw the monster in this movie (SPOILERS) i was immediately unnerved at this bad cgi abomination that bloomed from the most beautiul cgi cancer death cosmos imaginable. it scared me and i had to sleep with a light on for 2 days after LOL. but i was also moved by its gentleness. by the fact that the cervical cancer alien, when it tried to hurt you, wasn’t trying to hurt you at all. it was simply copying your movements. in the movie, it says that the creature wants nothing. it was simply copying. it was simply changing. it’s a prism of nature---and it corrupts yes, and it can hurt people and things and turn them into scary but still terribly unique and beautiful things that also kill---but the movie says that it wants nothing. it simply exists. it’s a part of nature, same as us, a part of the same universe and cosmos, despite being alien to us and stange and hurting us sometimes in ways that it doesn’t understand.
i don’t know. if i quite believe the movie when it says that, though. because i think if you copy someone, like a child would, you are trying to understand them. you are trying to understand yourself. you are trying to form yourself in another’s image when you have none, and you are failing at that, and hurting people and creating monsters in the process, but you are trying as best as you can to be whole and beautiful and sane like the lovely creatures you’ve met on this earth, or this body. to be part of something great and beautiful. to be part of another world.
maybe it doesn’t want anything. but do WE want anything as children, when we copy adults? why did the bear and the alligator try to eat our heroes if they were not hungry? did the bear and the alligator not WANT to eat? i think everything wants to live, and everything wants to grow, and if it can learn to live better and grow better it Will learn even if that is not its explicit intention. does the alien have feelings? does nature? do we have to personify things to understand them? no. does personifying things make us understand them less? no, yes, sometimes. we ask animals and nature to copy us, follow us, so that we can understand them better. the relationship in between----from the hurt, from the pain, from the droughts and the food shortages and the hurricanes and the fireworks---forms from our kindness and understanding. that our crops are useful, and the man-made mutation of our crops and the help of the ran and the sun is also useful. that our animals may not love us, but they need us, and we love them for putting their paw on our thighs to be pet, for following us into the bathroom even when we just wanted a moment alone.
regardless of its intentions, the alien, cancer, every creature, every human, they simply want to grow. in copying others---in trying to touch, to change, to understand, and be close---we learn to live in the same body, learn to live in the same world. the togetherness--the new sight the prism brings---it’s beautiful. it is beautiful to copy, however poorly. it is beautiful to try. we all shape others to our own standards---we sometimes forget we too, were made in own own perception of others’ image.

What Kumoricon’s Promare Panel Told Me About Kill la Kill
Tumblr media
[This post was originally written as a Twitter thread. The Promare cosplay image above was posted on Studio Trigger’s Twitter account.]
Now that NaNo is over, I can finally work on my Kumoricon Promare panel write-up without feeling guilty, but tbh, it might just be another project that never happens. There's also an excellent, beautifully detailed report you can already read right here!
I got my degree in creative writing, not journalism, so my intentions for my own report was (is?) to be on the more personal side. There is a lot I want to analyze and discuss about what was said at the panel, and since I've also had the opportunity to attend three other Promare-y panels in the past couple of years, I've wanted to combine info and sum up what I know.
Like I said, it might never happen. But there is one thing I do really wanna get out there. And that's what the Kumoricon Promare panel told me about Kill la Kill.
Tumblr media
Near the start of the panel, it was mentioned that an early concept for Promare involved a human befriending a fire creature. Through their friendship, the two would be able to fuse together into one entity. The panelists explicitly made a comparison to Kill la Kill here: just as Kill la Kill is focused on the friendship between a human and sentient clothes, Promare was imagined as a story focused on the friendship between a human and sentient flames.
However (and minor Promare spoilers to follow)....
As the panel progressed, it was revealed that this original concept was transformed into the Promare we know now. It was said that collaborations between director Hiroyuki Imaishi and writer Kazuki Nakashima work best when focused on human connections, not connections between humans and creatures.
The duo's earlier work in Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill were mentioned. Gurren Lagann was described as a "boy meets boy" story (presumably with Simon meeting Kamina), and Kill la Kill was described as a "girl meets girl" story (presumably with Ryuko meeting Satsuki).
Tumblr media
Which threw me for a loop! Wasn't it stated only minutes before that Kill la Kill is indeed focused on the connection between a human and a creature? Isn't it all about the friendship between a human and her sentient clothes?
Tumblr media
I've written a lot in the past that as much as I love Kill la Kill, its intentions have felt confused and unfocused. This Promare panel validated those feelings. There is a clear tension here. Is Kill la Kill's focal relationship the one shared between Ryuko and Senketsu? Or is it the one shared between Ryuko and Satsuki?
In my earlier writing on Promare, I argued that the film essentially combines the Senketsu and Satsuki character into one.
Tumblr media
And Kumoricon's Promare panel? Well, let's just say that I think the info supplied very much supports my theory.
Promare's concept went from a human befriending a fire creature to a human befriending a human who had merged with a fire creature. In this way, Galo and Lio's dynamic still has a lot of the same elements as a "human meets creature"-type story. Lio's fire powers mean that many view him as not human. Plus, despite noting that the "boy meets flame" concept was scrapped, a spread in PASH! magazine seems to say otherwise:
Tumblr media
Further, like the "human meets creature" story in Kill la Kill, Galo and Lio also "synchronize" and fight as one—an act even Galo describes as the combining of "oil and water." Following the rules of their world, it's a partnership that shouldn't happen. But it does.
And just as Ryuko and Senketsu use their partnership to save the planet, so too do Galo and Lio. In fact, Lio de Galon was even confirmed in a live-drawing session to purposely resemble Kamui.
Tumblr media
But Lio has something Senketsu doesn't: a human appearance. While Promare feels very much to me like a "human meets creature" story, it's kind of not because the Burnish are just regular humans who suddenly got fire superpowers. It's not like being born a magical talking shirt.
And on that note, I can see why Promare was changed. There are similarities between Senketsu and Lio, but unlike Lio, Senketsu is easily the most ignored main character in Kill la Kill. I even received nasty messages for comparing the two and their relationships with the hero, which is maybe sadly funny in retrospect, considering that the creative team behind both works have noted this connection explicitly.
But in any case, the drafted fire creature had the appearance of a cute, mascot-type character, maybe not too unlike Senketsu.
Tumblr media
And that's... not usually the type of character who's half of the focal relationship of a work. It's hard to take seriously. Believe me, I understand this well.
So, Promare changed. It's ultimately about the bond between Galo and Lio, a human and a human, just as Kill la Kill could be argued—and in fact was argued at the panel!—to be ultimately about the bond between Ryuko and Satsuki, both humans themselves.
And unlike with Ryuko and Senketsu, I think comparisons of the Galo-Lio relationship and the Ryuko-Satsuki relationship have been widely recognized. You know, it's that whole rivals-to-friends/lovers deal. The character archetypes are similar, too: Galo is very much the impulsive Red Oni to Lio's (mostly) calmer Blue Oni, just as Ryuko is the rash Red Oni to Satsuki's calculating Blue Oni.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This post's a little all over the place, but as much as I adore Senketsu and Satsuki and would never wish for either of their characters to be sacrificed in a reboot or alternate telling of Kill la Kill, I think Promare did the right thing by essentially combining those roles.
And I mean, kinda literally, too! The human Lio fused with the sentient fire creature, and it's the fused-human and human relationship that became the core of the work.
The resulting film thus lacks the tension that Kill la Kill has. Our attention is not split between a "human meets creature" story and a "human meets human" story. As far as I know, there aren't the same conflicting statements from the staff, either, with director Imaishi arguing that the focus is the drama between the human leads and writer Nakashima noting, "You could say that Kill la Kill tells the story of a lonely young woman meeting and losing an irreplaceable partner" in the Kamui Bansho.
Tumblr media
With Promare, I think everyone agrees. It's all about Galo and Lio. There is no debate. Promare is focused in a way that Kill la Kill ain't.
And I get why Promare changed in development the way it did to give it that clarity. But I also think (obviously!) that Trigger made a fantastic "human meets creature" narrative with Kill la Kill.
Tumblr media
In fact, it's my complete and total infatuation with that narrative that got me to the Promare panel at all. I never went to cons before I fell in love with Kill la Kill, and my love for Kill la Kill literally stems from this one frame of Ryuko hugging Senketsu, which I think I made a pretty amusing Tweet about:
Tumblr media
Tweet transcription: For real though this one frame made me fall so in love with Kill la Kill that I have since written over half a million words about it, spent like $2,000 on merchandise, and edited like 2,000 GIFs.
Yes, I am really THAT emotional about a girl hugging her sailor uniform.
So, needless to say, I support Nakashima's desire for "human meets creature" stories. I can't speak for anyone else, but it is the "human meets creature" aspect of Kill la Kill that affected me more than anything else about it. I think it's something Trigger should be proud of.
And I would love to see more of those types of stories from the studio—especially if the creature in question doesn't resemble a human! People don't have to look alike for their love to be strong and real, and stories focusing on that... well. They're the reason for this essay.

I would like to see a post from you rating all the skins of a single theme (like all the chibis or the mystical guardians (even though you probably love all of those))
Tumblr media
i’ve actually been meaning to make a collection of all the skin families and make an edit out of that so i was gonna do that for this instead….. but i got lazy lol
anyways i have A Lot Of Feelings about the mystic skins so i’ll break down my thoughts under the cut:
1. mystic nu wa
pros
the abilities are a lil boring but what hi-rezo does with them is great and i love the wings when she uses her ult (so cute!!).
the model is absolutely gorgeous, nu wa has got a flawless base and what hi-rez have done w/ the skin is so nice. i love the lil animation on her dress as well and the colour scheme is easily the best out of all the mystic girlies
i’m not 100% on nu wa’s voice pack but the va does a really good job, she’s super cute and i’d literally die for her omg. an anon on the confession blog reminded me about that directed voice line towards erlang shen and when erlang shen does get a mystic skin i might consider joining the mystic nu wa X mystic erlang shen ship
(also i’m kinda biased bc i own this skin and i’ve gotten excellent games w/ her asdkfljdslkjikljlkljkl)
cons
i have no idea who the fuck chose goddamn mystic perfume bottles for her different elemental powers but it’s such a weird decision. still pissed that hi-rezo didn’t go with the obvious choice of having her wield elemental stars like…… :////
what always annoys me is the lil flap things under her dress, the skin would look so much better if they were on top of her dress or if they were just removed ENTIRELY… it’s like daji w/ her tails, there’s too many things going on and it’s really distracting
also this is a major complaint for every mystic skin but the hair colours are just waaaaay too much, i know they’re meant to be colour coded but holy shit would these girls look much better w/ darker hair. i’d kill for a brunette mystic nu wa
final rating: 9/10, nu wa setting the standard for everyone to aspire to once again
2. mystic artemis
pros
another really good model (although the shortness of the dress is… questionable), tusky is also p cute. i really love the heart arrows, that’s a cute lil touch
artemis ability-wise doesn’t have much to work with but the skin is still p cute, her 3 is unexpectedly good?? her animations are also really nice
voice pack is golden, artemis is always super shady and has some of the best lines out of the mystic crew + the voice actresses delivery is flawless
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
cons
her HAIRRRRRRRRRR!!! CAN WE GET ANOTHER COLOUR???? same with the outfit, kinda would’ve liked to see a darker red like sailor mars but w/e.
just in general it’s kinda boring bc artemis’ design and abilities aren’t super flashy, most of the skin is really quality but she just doesn’t have the same flashiness that someone like nu wa has lol
final rating: 8/10, a lot of the quality owes to the fact that she was in a major bundle but it’s still a choice skin and easily one of the better mystic skins
3. mystic athena
pros
love love love her leader personality!! it’s really nice that athena of all the goddesses got a mystic skin as she’s a perfect representation of what i wanted in the mystic set of skins aaaah
abilities are super cute, gives some much needed colour to athena’s fighting tbh. the ult really stands out and the taunt is nice as well
the model is p good, it somewhat manages to fix athena’s unfortunate face and it gives her boots instead of high heels!! thank the lord!!!. also it’s good to see athena in a nice looking outfit for once, most of her other ones are weirdly sexy??? even her base has the stupid slit on her dress lmao.
her lines are also really good. perfect and super fitting voice as well
Tumblr media
cons
athena’s face still looks weirdddddd
hair? hair. it’s just. a lot. i just want her to have black hair man :(
final rating: 8/10, only just below artemis due to her sister’s superior model. athena’s mystic skin is still really amazing (it was the first one i got as well hehe) and she fits very nicely into the role of team leader :’)
4. mystic neith
pros
neith tried, a trendsetter as always. she died so that we could get more mystic skins
abilities are cute, love her passive. her ult is also good
cons
her voice sucks holy shit, the snorting is just…. ewwwww. i feel like the vp is kinda a mockery of the whole magical girl deal tbh
i have no idea what the outfit is? why’s it so plain? why is her hair that colour? what were the colours meant to be? she has wayyy too many colours there; just stick to a few in the same range omg
HER EYES ARE ALSO TERRIBLE ASLJFDLSAKJLKJKLKJLK, THEY’RE SO BIG FOR ABSOLUTELY NO GODDAMN REASON AND IT LOOKS SO WEIRD
every time you select the skin this terrible animation of her suspended in mid air and posing plays for half a second and then she goes instantly down. all i want her to do just just stay suspended for a lil while longer but her doesn’t and it annoys me so much asdklfjadsjkljljlkl
final rating: 6/10, i love you neith but we both know that this isn’t one of your better skins. neith, the flawless skin queen that she is, deserves a re-do of her mystic skin so that she fits in with the rest better
(thanks for the ask as well, i love ranting about skins lol)
also if you’ve made it this far down this post then i’d just like to say that literally any of wjsn’s title tracks (esp. dreams come true & secret) would totally fit the mystic au hehe

Critical Role Campaign 2: Episode NEIN Spoilers
Ima use some cuts here ‘cause I have friends who haven’t seen the thing yet, but HEADS UP YO I HAVE ACTUAL LEGIT ANALYSIS UNDER THE CUT BESIDES JUST SHOUTING SHIT.
Just Shouting Shit:
- GODDAMN IT JESTER. GODDAMN IT. I LOVE YA GURL AND I GET U AND I FEEL 4 U BUT GODDAMN IT.
- No but people in tags are either >:/ at Jester or talking about how Caleb is gonna go full revolution because of extreme poverty, and honestly I think that feels dishonest. Sometimes shit just hurts and I am extremely sure Caleb’s problems are going to get vomited out with a vengeance at some point and I’m getting an increasingly clear oh fuck well that’s analysis. But yeah, full explanation in the analysis bit but I seriously fucking bet that Caleb is going down a sadder and more self-destructive path rather than a “destroy-the-government-for-porn” path.
- But give him his porn.
- And kill that guard.
- People in search be all “Jester’s Mom is dead/kidnapped/unaware”. My dudes, I do not know Matt Mercer well and am new to this campaign, but I take him for both a respectable storyteller and someone who I can look in the eye and find a kindred spirit who twists knives like tops. It would be far, far too clean for Jester’s mom to be off the hook. It would offer less character development. Jester’s mom is a mean lady, didn’t send shit, and was probably full neglectful. Plus Jester (who adores and admires her) would never want to admit that this is the case. Jester was possibly never loved (by her mom at least) but desperately tells herself she is.
- Traveler interaction is extremely cute, I don’t trust him AT ALL but I hope he likes Jester. More discussion in analysis.
- Lol Beau just wants to get in Yasha’s pants. But honestly I think we need to get to know Yasha better.
- Nott and the ponytail scene and the swimming scene.
- Molly’s the hero we deserve. Tbh I could see him and Caleb being interesting ship-wise, but even if it doesn’t happen I think that dynamic is gonna boom.
- FJORD AND BEAU.
Legit Analysis:
- Seriously tho Caleb’s gonna be real fucked up. Right now we know he has some kind of dislike for the government, we know that he has a problem with fire in the specific burning-people-to-death sense, we know his parents are no longer alive to be making money, we know his parents were destitute, we know that from his first appearance he has been called dirty and smelly and barred from various establishments due to poverty, we know he is very afraid of dying but will put himself in harms way for friends, we know he sometimes can be an actual dick granted (he destroyed the ring for the pearl Nott gave him and he also encouraged Nott going into danger while she was drunk), and he is gathering components for a spell possibly for Winter’s Crest that include body parts and mud. I have bet in the past on both the possibility of his trying to resurrect someone he killed and him trying to make himself a lich so he won’t die. I think both of these things are still possible, with the added possibility of trying to resurrect someone he hadn’t directly killed depending on circumstances. But I think whatever he attempts will be extremely dangerous and unhealthy and have a horrible cost. He has been humiliated repeatedly, and I think while it’s possible there was a period of his life when he WASN’T dirt poor I think if that’s the case then covering himself in filth thing is a really close-to-the-bone, uncomfortable cover. Being repeatedly reminded that he is gross and poor (looking at least) is just making it worse. If it’s always been the case that still sucks like hell, but I honestly think this is a return to something he never wanted to go back to. Why? Because it will mean at some point in his life he had hope, and that hope had to be extinguished and he is miserable and because I suspect Liam is also someone who twists knives. I don’t know what nature of spell Caleb is pulling but I am very sure his main motivation isn’t anger, and I’ll put some money on either guilt or fear or both. I don’t think the government is his main enemy but more of an incidental one that fucked him over. I don’t know if he killed family or a significant other, if he left his parents to be a war mage or pursue wizardry, if he just had to make a sacrifice at some point for unknown reasons, if it was magic or mundane fire that fucked him up... but I bet it will be brutal as the day is long, and I bet that part of why he isn’t telling the party is because he wouldn’t be able to take being humiliated and pitied too. I think Caleb wants dignity, and he knows that while the group is unlikely to turn on him for whatever he did they wouldn’t talk to him normally anymore either.
He gonna fuck us all guys. Just buckle up because it is coming.
- I don’t know if the Traveler likes Jester enough not to screw her later for his own purposes, because if that happened the only person who Jester could feel loved her would have been using her all along. If this happens, it will probably be waaaaaaaaaay down the line because Jester would need to have formed strong enough connections to the rest of the cast in the meantime. AND I might be wrong, it depends a lot on the Traveler’s character. So basically, ATM I dig the guy but I think he’s fully capable of crushing my beating heart and I respect that.
- We got some party themes and I think that’s significant. Besides Caleb being traumatized by fire (water puts out fire eyo), Nott being terrified of drowning but taught a little bit how to swim by the team, Mollymauk’s name coming at least in part from a sailing song type deal, Fjord having made a pact with a giant tentacle monster that makes him barf up saltwater occasionally, Jester being daughter of the Ruby of the Sea and growing up in a port area, Yasha worshiping a storm deity massively revered by sailors, and Beau ????? wears blue ???????? some shit goin’ on with water and oceans.
Naw but watch Beau lol some connection’ll come up.
- I think Nott is going to have her heart broken in the future. I don’t know exactly how. Some of this is just instinct, but I think it ties to Caleb being kind of a dick sometimes and also Caleb being self-destructive, and also Nott gradually growing close to the rest of the party when she clearly has trust issues.
- Enjoy the sun erryone my narrative senses are tingling and there be some angst on our horizon.
- Also Fjord is still a goddamn changeling that half-orc at the bathhouse had tusks and Travis only said “interesting observation” or something when a fan mentioned lack of tusks in official art. He is a fucking changeling or doppelganger or some shit I swear to god and him critiquing Beau on how she delivers compliments only strengthens the other evidence.

((What do you think warrants a retelling of RWBY? Is it just a fun world, or is the story actually misguided?))
Oh boy, grab your popcorn and get ready to listen for a while. Gonna put this under a cut so people who don’t feel like reading it can skip.
Do I love RWBY? Yes, I 100%. This show has done so much to change my life and has quite literally changed me as a person. It’s put me on the career path of wanting to make my own animated show, tell stories etc. It’s allowed me to meet new friends, and had it not been for the show I wouldn’t even be here typing this. When the new episodes are coming out, every Saturday I wake up at like 10:50 in the morning and wait on both my laptop and phone app so I can watch the episode at exactly 11 when it drops. Most of the time I have to wait, but regardless you see the point. My drawer has RWBY merch, my desks have figures and plushes, hell even my backpack is a RWBY one and I wear a sweatshirt that’s RWBY related basically everyday.
However, in my opinion, the show is heavily flawed from a production standpoint.
RWBY is a very inventive show, I’ll give it that. It tries to do so much with so little, and I applaud it for that. What Rooster Teeth has created is a unique world with lovable characters that have inspired so many. It’s hard to believe that this company that made this show were making Halo parodies in 2007 and still are. RWBY is probably at this point their most popular show, and the most popular web series as of now (discounting live action stuff like Content Cop or whatever). Hell, Warner Bros. Japan went to RT wanting to dub it  and air it there so people could experience it in Japanese. It’s wonderful to see this show blossom and grow. But it has one thing holding it back from truly being great in my opinion.
It’s being produced by Rooster Teeth.
Like I said before, I applaud Rooster Teeth for doing what they’ve done with this show and for all the hard work they’ve done with it. I love their content and the people responsible for bringing the show to life. But for what it wants to do, Rooster Teeth is far too small of a company to produce it and don’t have the necessary people to make it what it can truly be. It’s a show that has so much untapped potential, and I keep waiting for it to tap into it and show me what it can really be. But I get nothing, and waiting every episode after every episode gets tiresome.
RWBY likes to take from a lot of different things for inspiration, but I feel like it’s too scattered and all over the place from it’s inspiration to make logical sense. I hear Final Fantasy (which I see in the character designs, weapons and dust as a concept), but then I see Game of Thrones, Gurren Lagann, and other things that don’t even remotely cover the genre that RWBY is in. I’ve brought this up to people before and have been told that it’s “Monty’s true vision” and that “I just don’t understand it and shouldn’t question it”. God bless Monty Oum, he was a great animator and a wonderful man who I would love to meet and pick apart at his brain. But the man couldn’t tell a story, which was why he brought on Miles Luna and Kerry Shawcross, the lead writers of the show.
But before I get into M&K (who I both met and are lovely people), I want to touch up on the show’s inspiration. Monty wanted to create a show that revolved around his fight scenes, you know the stuff that you saw in Dead Fantasy or Red vs Blue Seasons 8-10. He didn’t care about the story and wanted to show off his fights and creative, lovable characters. If that’s what the show was going to be, I wouldn’t watch and I wouldn’t care as much as I do to write this. In my unpopular opinion, the show needs to stray away from Monty’s original ideas and gather more from outside sources that are doing the genre right. Shows like Hunter X Hunter, My Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist, Sailor Moon and more that I can’t even list off the top of my head. These shows tackles themes present in RWBY and do it leaps and bounds better than what the show does. It’s frustrating to watch Gon Freeces or Izuku Midoriya get character development and progression that changes them and the path of the story but see Ruby Rose become a side character with no development since the beginning of the show. I’ll also add this in, if you want to take out My Hero from this list you can since RWBY started airing before MHA first published, and it has it beat by a few months I think? But I think the point still stands.
Now for Miles and Kerry, who I both love so much, there’s a lot of controversy around them. A lot of people, especially on this site, hate them and want different writers for the show. I’ve heard names like Lindsay Jones (voice actress for Ruby) and Mica Burton (a RT employee) as people who “should” be writing the show. Here’s the big issue with that:
Neither one has produced a show before and has written a script. Know who has? Miles Luna, who wrote three seasons of Red vs Blue.
Yes, both are still amateurs and not professionals. They’ve been doing this for about a little more than half a decade, which isn’t a lot of time in the content production world. But this leads to another problem: Amateurs are writing this show. I don’t doubt the effort both of them put into making this show. They have A LOT to deal with, considering what happened with Monty, the show’s sudden boom in popularity, and much much more. But the fact that more experienced script writers aren’t writing a show this big is an issue, and you see it all the time in the show. They like to go with this “tell don’t show” approach, which doesn’t allow us to see the world and make it feel alive. We have to trust everything the characters say instead of actually getting to see it ourselves. We don’t see the racism Blake talks about except for a sign in a background shot that shows up on screen for two seconds. TWO SECONDS of seeing this one “No Faunus” sign is more signs of racism than we ever got from 4 and a half volumes and almost 20 minutes of exposition on it. There’s also just some really bad characters in the show as well, just really poorly written. I think my best examples are almost every villain, especially Adam and Cinder. I think both are just really shitty in every aspect and don’t add anything unique? If Adam wasn’t abusive and crazy, his cause would be more sympathetic and the White Fang would feel more like a Civil Rights group like they should be instead of a terrorist group like they’re portrayed to be. Cinder’s whole deal is just “I want power”, and the big question is why. We have no explanation as to why she sides with Salem and what her motives are. She’s just a puppet for the big baddie and that’s not right considering Cinder was the main antagonist for three volumes and will have just as big of a role going forth. A backstory can really help with this, but until we get one she’s a mediocre, borderline shitty villain in my books.
If the show was handled by, lets say Studio Madhouse, or Studio Bones, and if those don’t really sound familiar lets even throw in Toei, the show would be a lot better handled. Shows like My Hero, Hunter X Hunter, One Punch Man Season 1, Fullmetal Alchemist, Miraculous Ladybug and more have come from them and have done phenomenal. The writing, worlds, characters, all written in this just amazing way that I can see RWBY being written in. I can see RWBY having this expansive, almost unexplored world that we the viewers and the characters are going to explore together. But Rooster Teeth can’t provide that simply because they don’t have the money to. That’s no knock against them either, it’s just a fact. A RWBY fight will never look as good as Midoriya vs Todoroki or Meruem vs Netero, and that’s because the budget and time isn’t there. I just want to see this show thrive and become something special like these other shows, because I know it can be that. I know it can be tightly written with a power system that makes sense and a world that’s rich and vast, with different people having different motives that makes us really question who is right and who is wrong.
Aside from all that, what do I think the show does write? It creates really likable characters that almost everyone can relate to. All of Team RWBY is really likable, same with JNPR. The cast as a whole is colorful, and they’re the main reason I come back to watch the show week after week. The music is also pretty good? But tbh I wish there was more variety in the soundtrack as well. But aside from the characters and music I can’t think of much else.
So, with all that being said, I want to rewrite RWBY to fix these issues and tell my own version of the story, the version I’d like to see. A lot of people in this fandom might not agree with me on the ideas I have and my opinions, but quite frankly I’ve gotten tired of hearing people tell me that my ideas about the show are lesser because it doesn’t align with their views or Monty’s views (which are basically the same thing). I’m doing this because of my immense love for the show and because I want to see it be better. Please don’t take these words as anything harmful and as an endorsement to not watch the show. If you haven’t, I’m actually begging you to go watch RWBY. It’s a fun adventure, but it’s just very flawed and something I as an objective viewer who pays Rooster Teeth for early access to episodes cannot overlook. I’ve done it for far too long thanks to people and I’m sick of it. This retelling also is going to help me as a writer in making a long running story, and while most of the outline is made thanks to the show, there are still going to be a lot of differences from the canon counterpart.
So please, go watch RWBY if you haven’t so you can see what I’m talking about, and to also let yourself be immersed into a wonderful world with wonderful characters. I love this show with a passion, and this retelling is being done because I want to see it do better is all, like I know it’s capable of.

the gay ass anime masterpost*
*not actually a masterpost, since i give about two and a half fucks about keeping this updated or properly categorized. real loose classifications to follow. shit i haven’t seen in italics; stuff i’d highly recommend in bold. now updated w/ streaming links (some are US-only tho, sorry)
no predatory lesbians or okama joke characters or else we’ll be here all day. k? k.
LGBT-THEMED: anime that directly addresses LGBT identity as one of its primary focuses
Revolutionary Girl Utena
the ez one
Yurikuma Arashi
Class S is bullshit, did u know that. Also, thirsty-ass bear girls and a real angry takedown of the patriarchy
Flip Flappers
I don’t know how you can read this show as anything but lesbian sexual awakening, especially given the Class S Yuri Hell episode
Wandering Son (Hourou Musuko)
pls pay attention to the T friends
Aoi Hana (Sweet Blue Flowers)
Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju
Kikuhiko is def not cishet and i will fite u if u insist otherwise. Half the show’s choices make no sense without that lens
Yuri!!! on Ice
fite me
LGBT-THEMED; LIMITED REP: anime that addresses gender or sexuality as a secondary focus, though perhaps lacking explicit representation (e.g. LGBT narratives in the secondary cast).
The Woman Called Fujiko Mine (from the director of Yuri!!! on Ice)
One of the supporting characters is a gay man struggling w/ masculinity
Gay schoolgirl episode all about female sexual repression
did i mention the titty is good
Princess Jellyfish
Prominent focus on gender presentation
Kuranosuke can be read as a closeted trans woman
Paradise Kiss
Heroine’s love interest is bisexual
Trans woman in the supporting cast; trans identity plays a major role in her story
Ouran High School Host Club
Discusses gender + gender presentation, though protagonist isn’t explicitly stated to be nonbinary
Protagonist’s parents implied to be genderqueer; father definitely bi
Plenty of gay subtext among the male cast
Scum’s Wish
Strong focus on female sexuality; main character is bisexual
Central cast also includes a lesbian
Simoun
Discusses gender as more of an abstraction? Takes place in a world where everyone is born female to later choose a permanent gender. It does less to directly address gender than you’d expect, though, which is why I’m sticking it here
From the New World (Shin Sekai Yori)
Future dystopia where societal norms practically mandate bisexuality. Honestly, I dunno where to put this; the story’s more concerned with sexuality in general than with LGBT identity
Devilman Crybaby
Classic characters reinterpreted through a queer lens; important theme of coming to terms with one’s own sexuality and identity. Ryo is the definition of disaster gay
LGBT REP: anime w/ positive depictions of LGBT characters, though not necessarily concerned w/ addressing queerness directly.
Samurai Flamenco
Four words: gay naked gunpoint proposal. the show makes about that much sense but it’s a lotta fun
i don’t care what the director said
bisexual girl in a poly relationship
No. 6
boys kissing tho???
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid
pls ignore the manga and its magic dick nonsense
Haruchika
One of the two leads is a gay boy. He explicitly says so in the first episode. Avoid the live-action movie like the plague.
I should probably list Kase-san and Bloom Into You here
Mikagura School Suite
The heroine is REALLY THIRSTY for all the cute girls
Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo
Beyond the obvious homoerotic overtones of Albert/the Count, there’s Franz’s gay crush
Sympathetic trans girl character in the secondary cast
Michiko and Hatchin (from the director of Yuri!!! on Ice!!!)
Girls are good ok
Atsuko is gay
Macross Delta
two girls in the supporting cast do a hell of a lotta cuddling on screen
some versions of Sailor Moon
namely the ‘90s anime
Sailor Moon Crystal and the manga do address gender in… questionable ways
Tokyo Godfathers
Trans woman in the main cast
Tiger and Bunny
Reasonably respectful portrayal of a gay man once it gets going
Central relationship between two men could be read as romantic
Genshiken
Whispered Words (Sasameki Koto)
Psycho-Pass
One of the officers is a lesbian. She gets a focus episode
Monogatari series
Really just limited to Kanbaru, but she’s the most accurate depiction of the constantly horny dank meme problematic gay (e.g. me) i’ve ever seen, ironic propositioning of her straight dude friend and all. The rest of the franchise is obnoxious though, so ymmv
Kill la Kill?
i don’t know how else you interpret one girl kissing another on the mouth
Attack on Titan
If you’ve been living under a rock and somehow haven’t heard about it Ymir and Christa are all but explicitly stated to be in love with each other
Kino’s Journey
Kino asks people to use non-gendered pronouns, apparently? I haven’t seen this yet.
Knights of Sidonia
Non-binary character in the main cast
The manga goes some iffy places with their character tho, be warned
Really though, I mostly like this show for the sentient pink penis alien
Gatchaman Crowds
Several gender non-conforming characters
Trans girl in the main cast
Cardcaptor Sakura?
Fuuka
One of the dudes is canonically gay, not that it makes much of an improvement to the show
A Centaur’s Life
there’s a moment where a lesbian objects to her PDA being considered more obscene than the straight equivalent, which is nice but pretty off-the-cuff
Rose of Versailles
Oscar’s debatably genderqueer, though the show goes some real questionable places towards the end
Gay ladies?
Hunter x Hunter
Trans girl in the supporting cast. Her story’s extremely minor in the grand scheme of things but it’s there and it’s good
Love and Lies
potato-kun gets a harem that includes his male best friend
Land of the Lustrous
non-gendered rock people searching for meaning in life
Bodacious Space Pirates
via @madscientist212: “two explicitly lesbian characters who are lovers, and one of the story arcs involves the crew helping one of them avoid being forced into an arranged marriage to a dude by her uncle”
Banana Fish
Extremely dated BL-flavored crime drama; unfortunately falls into the pitfalls of old-ass exploitation films: csa, sexual assault, etc. It’s such a problematic fav tho
Kiss Him, Not Me
Reverse harem includes a lesbian
Double Decker! Doug & Kirill
heavy gay subtext between leads and secondary cast members; well-intentioned trans representation that’s... kinda clumsy, tbh
Zombie Land Saga
one of the zombie girls is a trans girl who dies from the shock of puberty. it’s p incidental to her character but the show’s real cute otherwise so go for it
Anima Yell
apparently one of the girls admits to having a crush on a female teacher. or something. idk this show looks hella boring why bother
THE SUBTEXT IS STRONK: not textually gay (some you could argue could fall under category #2 and vice versa; not the point of this post) but can be read that way, even though these shows aren’t super concerned w/ romance in general
Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Neon Genesis Evangelion?
Depending on the version, Shinji’s sexuality can be read a variety of ways. Manga Shinji is pretty clearly bi; TV anime Shinji you could debate.
Free, I guess
Love Live (Sunshine esp.) if I’m counting Free
Symphogear
Dear Brother (Oniisama e, otherwise known as BE STRONG)
Kids on the Slope (Sakamichi no Apollon)
Nominally they’re straight and pining for the same girl but BOY do Kaoru and Sentarou have a LOT of chemistry with each other, so much that it’s hard to read them otherwise
Marimite (Maria Watches Over Us)
Izetta: The Last Thing I Would Watch Even If I Had a Gun Pointed at My Head
Despite what you may have heard, this show is bad and 100% plays in bait territory. Also, obnoxious gun fetishism and way. too. much. goddamn. phallic imagery.
Tanaka-kun is Always Listless
Umamusume: Pretty Derby
Princess Principal
Spiritpact
I have complicated feelings about this goddamn trash fire of a show, but halfway through the second season it turns into a genuinely compelling gay pseudo-romance (?) about two boys navigating heteronormativity. also i guess the main couple exists, tho they spend a ridiculous amount of effort no-homoing
Amanchu
basically any sports anime ever tbh
Golden Kamuy
MADE FOR THE STRAIGHTS BUT STILL OK: the yuri, BL, etc. that’s clearly targeted at a heterosexual audience but respectful enough to be enjoyable for the people they’re about
Doukyuusei
This Boy Caught a Merman
This Boy is a Professional Wizard
Strawberry Panic
Love Stage??? I have some qualms about putting this here but of the trashy BL anime that exist this is probably the least offensive
Maria-Holic
TEXTUALLY GAY BUT BLUGHHHH: the yuri and BL that just sux
Sakura Trick
Junjou Romantica (how the hell does this thing have three seasons)
Sekaiichi Hatsukoi
Gakuen Heaven
Dramatical Murder (POTATO DOGGO)
Super Lovers UGH
idk Gravitation and all that other crappy BL I don’t have the patience to list
GIMME THE TRASH NOW: problematic as all hell but i sure ain’t complainin b/c i’m gay ass trash
Netsuzou Trap (NTR)
Riddle Story of Devil
Love to Lie Angle
if you ever wanted a generic ass harem comedy except with a potato girl instead of a potato guy, here’s that compressed into 3 minutes
Citrus
Corpse Party wwww
Gakuen Handsome FITE ME
NOT TOUCHING THIS HORNET’S NEST WITH A TEN FOOT POLE: pls,,,, save me from the Disk Horse
Sound! Euphonium
One of these days I might organize this a lil better. Maybe if/when Tumblr figures out how to make editing not a pain in the ass

ALL OF THE SYMBOLS
Tumblr media
// LIAM WHY.
@lifereturned
SEND ME A SYMBOL AND I’LL ANSWER OOC
ѩ - Are there any characters that you love, but simply cannot role play?
SO MANY. In Overwatch alone, I think pretty much all of them. I would love to be able to write as Hanzo for instance, but he’s a very complex character and I would be really scared of making a walking cliché out of him. Bastion is another one I would have loved to write for, the whole non-verbal communication fascinates me, but I’m afraid my writing would quickly become very redundant and repetitive, so I abstained. That’s pretty much why I went for Brigitte as my second OW muse tbh, with a character we know so little about, it’s hard to really get her wrong. McCree is one I would love to know how to write too, I’m a huge Westerns fan, and he’s one of my favourite characters in OW on so many levels. But for the life of me, I can’t write his goddamn accent.
Җ - What’s your greatest source of inspiration when it comes to role playing?
For canon characters, the original characters themselves. For Ana, in-games lines, comics, and whatever we get from Blizzard. I love to work primarily with the primary material and expand with my own analysis and headcanons. For OCs, films, series and literature are my three sources of inspiration, also real-life people.
ℛ - Are you religious?
Not at all. I find the subject of religions very interesting, but I gave up trying to believe in (a) God when I was about eight years old.
♬ - Do you listen to music when you write? If yes, what kind of music?
Always, I can’t write without music. I just listen to music I associate with the character I’m writing for. Or Irish music. Irish music always inspired me for some reason. Still looking for an explanation for that, but. Yeah. Irish music and pirate music and sailor songs and - don’t judge me.
ᚡ - Random fact about the mun?
I got into university before I graduated from highschool. Blame it on a poorly timed appendicitis/peritonitis, and a very understanding university staff. Taking my baccalaureate the week my first term at uni officially started was a very weird feeling.
✒ - Do you have a preference when it comes to gender regarding your muses?
I used to play a lot more male than female muses. Now I try to make it more balanced.
ಹ - Share a story from your childhood
My mind has gone completely blank on this one. I’ve always been taller than everyone in my class and in my age group? That’s a story, right? I was a giant beanpole when growing up. Still am, even though a few people have managed to catch up.
෴ - Tell us about your day.
I sdly didn’t get to do anything remotely interesting today. I was very tired mostly, I’ve reached the limit of what my body and mind can endure in terms of going to bed too late and rising too early, I think, hence my sheer lack of productivity, and I had to give a very stressful phone call to Student Loa.ns services for a payment I didn’t know I had to make, so overall I just tried to drown my stress into playing Overwatch and reading and watching a movie haha.
㉘ - How do you usually spend your birthdays?
I try to spend them as discreetly as possible and not make a fuss out of them - I don’t like growing older. But my friends always find a way to drag me out of my room to go to a bar or something. I don’t like being in the spotlight so birthday parties tend to make me uneasy, but they don’t care, but I still love them (my friends, not the parties).
⨌ - If you ever had the opportunity to clone yourself, would you?
Hell no. My clone would probably do a better job at being me than myself, and I couldn’t stand it.
ᚖ - Do you wear makeup?
I do, mascara and lipstick, eyeliner if I’m feeling super motivated. I never wear foundation or anything to cover my skin though, I don’t like the feeling.
༺ - Do you have any siblings? What’s your relationship with them like?
I have a younger brother who is two years younger than me. He’s 21 and recently moved out of the house. We had a complicated relationship while growing up - our parents put us in constant competition, even i they didn’t mean it, and he resented me for a very long time for that. Probably still does, but things got better after I moved out of the house five years ago. We don’t talk much and things are still a bit weird, but he doesn’t hate me and doesn’t get jealous anymore, so that’s an improvement. I also have a younger half-sister, she’s 8, and she lives with my father about three hours away from where I live. I didn’t see her very often over the past five years (I was living abroad in the UK) but I absolutely adore her and she’s apparently my n°1 fan, we have a great relationship despite out 15 years age gap.
๛ - Share an embarrassing story about yourself!
I’m scared of riding bicycles since I fell off one and hurt my knee and had to ride my bike for five more kilometers while bleeding on the road. It was eight years ago. I’m still scared of bicycles.
❤ - Are you and/or your muse currently in love with someone?
I am not in love with anyone - I’m aromantic so it’s not something I miss. As for Ana, she isn’t romantically involved with anyone at the moment. I’ve been fortunate enough to tumble across @lifereturned and to start a beautiful queerplatonic ship between his Jack and my Ana, something I never thought would ever happen considering how crucial romantic ships are on tumblr and how little known the term queerplatonic is. I like the idea of romantic ships, I’m just very insecure about my writing of romance and therefore only every romantically ship with rp partners I’ve grown to know on a more personal level and with whom I’ve roleplayed already. And even then, I’m never going to tell them “hey let’s ship”, so except if someone comes to me stating “I ship you Ana and my [insert name of the character]”, Ana will probably remain a single mother forever.
To put it more simply, I’m a sucker for platonic/queerplatonic ships, and I also love romantic ships, I just think I’m awful at writing them but I’m more than willing to explore the idea with rp partners I have chemistry with. Chemistry is the key. If we have chemistry, you can throw you character at me, chances are I will say “let’s do it”.
ℳ - Do you think you have a good handwriting?
My 8-yo sister has a better handwriting than I do.
☢ - When was the last time you went to the cinema? What movie did you watch?
Last wednesday, I went to see La La Land. A great movie when it comes to cinematography and direction, but story-wise or in terms of content, I found it pretty boring and empty. Gotta love the opening song though, I can’t stop listening to it. And Emma Stone is wonderful.
⨕ - Are you a jealous role player?
Not at all. I can get very insecure and get these irrationals feelings of “oh God what if my rp partners find a better version of my character than me”, but I don’t get angry at them or bitter, it’s literally just an irrational fear. I’m not a jealous person in general. Insecure and self-loathing probably, but not jealous. The few times I’ve experienced jealousy were not roleplay-related.
