Do you have a backstory for Ace and the gang ?

Tbh Ace and Hue are the ones who have the most solid backstories, tho I am working on figuring stuff out for the others!!

Also gonna add that for the story I wanna do with these guys, they're meant to mirror some official characters for a specific reason, so that's why it might seem like there's some similarities :]c

For the stuff I have, Ace and Sonic are actually twins!! The two of them kinda just took care of eachother and raised themselves before Sonic ran off one day and got super lost around a year or so before the first game. After he started getting more famous, Ace couldn't really catch up to him soon enough before the thought of it felt a little impossible (since I imagine a lot of people would try to mimic Sonic or act like family and she rlly wouldn't wanna go viral for being a "fake"), so she just sorta starts to distance herself as much as possible from the identity he made for himself. Unfortunately this also has the side effect of making her miserable since she starts to overthink everything out of fear that people will think she's just a cheap copy of him at first <:)

Hue is a lot simpler! Long story short, the scientist who ends up making him (who's another oc of mine that I actually haven't shared here yet) gets their hands on the blueprints for the ruby prototypes that Eggman made during forces and decided 'Hey! What if I used these to make a sentient weapon!' And then did that. Hue isn't really a big fan of violence tho so he just kinda. Teleports out and accidentally runs into Ace while trying to find Sonic HJDSHSFVBHK

I haven't shared the actual refs for these 2 so here's Barrel and Dice! They're actually meant to be antagonists at first but eventually end up being chill (tbh I'm still undecided on this for Dice but I do rlly like her design. So.)

I think aside from the currently unnamed character, Barrel has the least solid backstory? He works for G.U.N. and possibly has some beef with them but that's abt it. Also was originally supposed to have a dead friend but I'm not 100% sure about that rn

Dice is a mercenary! I actually tried to make her outfit look a bit like Infinite on purpose since she's supposed to idolize him a bit- but in less of a "he's done nothing wrong ever" kind of way and more of a "I am literally going to be so much better than him if it kills me" kind of way.
