straight men are so funny bc why did my emotional support cishet man just message me asking if the fanfic i wrote was inspired by some events from the fucking roman empire 😭😭😭

#the only reason i know the fuckin roman empire trend from last year wasn’t made up is bc the one straight guy friend i have is like that #like. he regularly talks to me about the roman empires (and various other historical events) and i’m just like ???#why does this stuff cross ur mind so much ?????#i’d get it if he studied history or smt but no he has a degree in film and tv??? and now doing some sort of business related masters?????#tbf i guess there’s also. the autism. that could explain it. but y’know.#he confuses me so much. love him tho <3 great guy
