really funny that sebastian stan went from being in like the worst movies in the entire world (and black swan) to being a lead in a huge tv miniseries and a couple of really interesting and well received movies but not to ever enough to distance himself from being known as That Guy Who Played Captain Americas Gay Lover
#which like. makes sense because the cap/avengers movies are much bigger than anything else hes ever done#and also because catws is one of the best marvel movies period#but i feel like a quite a few of the franchise-famous actors have been able to create more buzz unrelated to their marvel work#even if they have ongoing marvel projects#tbf i also just dont really pay attention to sebastian stan anymore i didnt watch pam & tommy and dont plan on it#really enjoyed fresh tho.#oh bucky barnes. most compelling character ever if ur 13 and so invested in a tragic gay love story that doesnt exist#or rather that the russo brothers had zero intention of creating and then backpedalled so hard they fucked up several character arcs#like yeah i was queerbaiting myself a little bit. but also the Narrative...still finding each other in two separate lifetimes...devastating#shut up riley
