The last words Crosshair heard from Hunter before he was subjected to his inhibitor chip being intensified were:

"Oh no, no, no. We stay together."

Crosshair may have just been arguing with all his brothers, but Hunter is still trying to protect him.

And the troopers attack Hunter for it.

And then there's Crosshair's reaction (which Hunter doesn't see): his look of shock and anger mirroring his brothers', a look that quickly fades to a resigned shake of the head before he stands to leave.

And while I'm sure there were lots of thoughts going through Crosshair's mind - "see, Hunter, this is why we need to just follow orders, you wouldn't get hurt if you would just comply" likely being among them - I firmly believe at least part of the reason why Crosshair got up and went with the troopers without a word of protest was because it was his way of protecting Hunter in return.

It’s so funny to me that when Echo convinces Hunter and Tech to try and free Gregor on Daro and says ‘you did that on Skako Minor when you rescued me” neither of them points out the obvious, that they had a full team, Rex and Anakin freakin’ Skywalker to help!

They’d do anything for Echo, even if tactically it makes no sense! Love those crazy brothers!

the way they naturally fall into eachother's roles when the other isn't there.

the instinctual head-tilt when Crosshair stabilized his rifle on Tech's shoulder, as if they'd done it a thousand times before.

It's the fact that Tech clearly told Phee all about his brother.

It's the sad, fond smile on Crosshair's face when Omega said Tech made her memorize all the plans ("of course he did").

It's the way Tech knew exactly where to look for that mirror.

Now that Omega is part of the Rebel Alliance I had the most beautiful idea pop into my head:

I’m just imagining her hanging out with her squad post-mission. It was a major success so everyone is in high spirits. In the middle of their debrief/celebration she gets a comm. “Ah, it’s my little brother,” she says, “I have to take this.”

Everyone is very understanding—family is important and they haven’t had much time or really even the security to check-in in recent weeks. She pulls up the holo. Instead of the teenager or young adult they were expecting when she said “little brother”, it’s a fifty-something, one-handed, very clearly ex-soldier with the voice of a chain smoker whose first words are “Finally, you answer your kriffing comm”.

The others watch in awe as the two of them banter back and forth. After 8 separate assurances that she’s doing well, she’ll call him back later so she can talk to Hunter and Wrecker, and that she’ll be safe, he finally hangs up and she’s left with the rest of the squad just staring at her. One of them asks confusedly “Who was that?”

“I told you, it’s my younger brother.” Omega has to explain the dynamics of cloning after that.

The difference between Season 1 and Season 3 of the Bad Batch

Season 1: Omega: Crosshair, can I have a hug? Crosshair: The audacity??? Of this Child??? Nothing would revolt me more than to show any kind of weakness to sate your neediness. Season 3: Omega: Crosshair, you're getting a hug. Crosshair: The charity??? Of my Sister??? Nothing would give me more joy than to be hugged by the Literal Angel that you are, though I am a lowly worm.

Casual reminder that Hunter is LITERALLY the person who brings a knife to a gun blaster fight.

What makes this even funnier? In this scene, Anakin says "Hunter, hold them off," and Hunter's response is to drop the blaster he's holding in exchange for his knife.

echo showing up with emerie and a group of formerly imprisoned clones on pantora to meet up with rex is the FUNNIEST thought to me because rex probably was expecting a few freed clones, maybe preparing to comfort echo after losing a member of the batch, but no, his little shit of a baby brother strolls in with a newly discovered sister and a group of brothers behind him and the news that oh yeah, everyone survived and is okay, and rex and howzer can't help but just stand and stare as echo grins at them
