Sam + coping + impatience

Sam throws himself into hunting to escape his emotions. We see it in vintage SPN, particularly season 2, but it's also present when he loses the AU hunters in season 14:

DEAN: We just did three Hunts back-to-back, I-- I need some rest...We both do.

SAM: "Yeah, well, I'm leaving in ten."

Granted, none of the fam members HAVE to go with Sam on his hyperfixated hunting tour, but because they care about him and his obviously messed-up mental state, there is pressure for at least one of them to go.

The thing that's interesting here, is that Dean isn't asking NOT to go. He's ONLY pleading for rest before they go.

Sam not only goes headfirst into hunting, he's pedal-to-the-metal impatient about it.

Sam's Taurus-like determination to hunt right now is mirrored in 15x06 Golden Time, where he throws himself into research and Eileen as a means to escape his grief over Mary/Jack/Rowena. He even gets irritated with Dean's mode of coping, which is fatalism/TV watching/eating his feelings.

Sam's impatience is showcased again 15x09 in Chuck's futurescape, where Sam once more vetoes rest to hunt in order to cope with the loss of Claire/his family & friends/his future/Eileen:

DEAN: We just got back--

SAM: We don't act now-- nest'll move on.

He looks so,, human lmfao. I wanted to see more of the bull aspects in his design, so I kinda made him a type of Minotaur type character!

Why did Gemini have such a huge issue with Taurus coming down, Taurus is actually seemingly more chill about Lunar doing dark star stuff than the twins were... They literally said that Lunar should expect him to make fun of his family at some point but that never happened and in fact the opposite happened

He trained Earth, humored Jack, and helped Moon when he was thinking of just being done with everything

And they told Lunar that he's going to try to find a way to make Lunar break and be angry again which has not been true at all

And if anything that probably caused Lunar to suppress his emotions even more because of Gemini making him worry about basically nothing
