Sam + coping + impatience

Sam throws himself into hunting to escape his emotions. We see it in vintage SPN, particularly season 2, but it's also present when he loses the AU hunters in season 14:

DEAN: We just did three Hunts back-to-back, I-- I need some rest...We both do.

SAM: "Yeah, well, I'm leaving in ten."

Granted, none of the fam members HAVE to go with Sam on his hyperfixated hunting tour, but because they care about him and his obviously messed-up mental state, there is pressure for at least one of them to go.

The thing that's interesting here, is that Dean isn't asking NOT to go. He's ONLY pleading for rest before they go.

Sam not only goes headfirst into hunting, he's pedal-to-the-metal impatient about it.

14x15 Peace of Mind

Sam's Taurus-like determination to hunt right now is mirrored in 15x06 Golden Time, where he throws himself into research and Eileen as a means to escape his grief over Mary/Jack/Rowena. He even gets irritated with Dean's mode of coping, which is fatalism/TV watching/eating his feelings.

Sam's impatience is showcased again 15x09 in Chuck's futurescape, where Sam once more vetoes rest to hunt in order to cope with the loss of Claire/his family & friends/his future/Eileen:

DEAN: We just got back--

SAM: We don't act now-- nest'll move on.

Silly LAES headcanons

1. Taurus plays hide and seek with Dazzle, Jack and Lunar as a way to help Lunar with being sneaky (at least he says it's for that, in reality he just likes playing with them)

2. In connection to 1; Dazzle squeals with laughter whenever Taurus picks a bed up she's hiding under because she finds it entertaining

3. Jack doesn't fully trust Taurus but does fully understand that he cannot kill him (Dazzle finds the bull man funny, she will be sad if Jack stabs her bull buddy)

.

4. Lunar keeps making comments about random things in hopes Taurus will add on with his own opinions on things. So far he knows Taurus is scared of peacocks bc the tails look like they're covered in eyes

5. Sun has walked in on Dazzle kicking and hitting Taurus' back once, he was about to scold her but Taurus interjected saying he was letting her do that after she'd stubbed her toe

6. Taurus has a female form that he absolutely hates being in bc his boobs in that form make his back hurt

7. Earth and Solar proofread Nebula's fanfics, Solar giving her advice on character writing and Earth giving world building advice

.

8. Dazzle wants Taurus to train her in self defence so she can protect Jack like he protects her. So far he's taught her how to uppercut. She tried it out by uppercutting him in the balls
