[SP] A Chilling Thrill

The breezes gentle imbrace is that of a lost lover, it warms your heart but chills your soul. Men exclame their love for the sun but find shelter and comfort in the winds chilled touch. Her cold boney fingers caress your skin sending goosebumps down your neck. The excitement of her touch pulls you away from the sun's warm love. Her pale skin reminds you of the love you once shared that you thought was only a memory. Once a lover and now your mistress, you shun the warmth the sun gives you, believeing it will always be there. For hours you indulge in both the suns warmth and the cool refreshment of the slight breeze. But the suns warmth starts to waver unable to keep up with the overpowering breeze. Its consumed by the cold and retreats into the night leaving you in the arms of the cold mistress still unknowing of the sun's disappearance. The breeze begins to strengthen turning into a course gust, that now chills the bone. You glance towards the emty sky expecting to be greeted by the warmth that you knew. The last bit of orange warmth disappeares into the horizon leaveing you cold and helpless. You try to break free from her grasp but this only angers her, she begins to howl. Bitting your ears turning them to ice so brittle a simple tap could make them crumble. The cheap thrill that once sent excitement through to your brain now sends ice through your veins. Her frostbitten fingers slice through your flesh infecting it with ice that seares the skin. You push her away and run through the unforgiving night in an attempt to find cover. The night seeps through your head, filling it with dread. You can hear her howl grow closer as the leaves thrash behind you. Like a wolf hunting it's pray, she dashes through the growth growling. You find cover in a rundown shack, but before you can close the door fully she pounces trying to force it open but you push it shut, locking her out. The walls shake and wistle as she engulfs the shack. Cold threads seep through the cracks in the walls reaching for your body. Her howls fill the night as she refuses to give you up. The walls creak and shake under the pressure of her onslaught. You move around getting entangled in the threads of ice that are now strung through the room. Your infected skin turns black as the ice she planted inside your flesh takes hold. You now sit gripping your legs rocking back and forth in the middle of the room thinking of the sun's warmth. Her howls taurment you for hours, unable to escape like a bird in a cage you wait, slowly going insane. But the walls slowly stop shaking and her howl weakens. The ice threads turn to light that bring warmth and comfort. You slowly stager over to open the splintered door. Your eyes glitter with joy and your body gives in to the exhaustion. You lay on the green grass that surrounds the shack, like tiny hands they hug your body. For the sun has returned bringing back light and warmth to your life. Blissfully you bask in the sun's warmth that melts the memories of the night before away. But once again the sun's love begins to burn too bright and your body begins to burn. Then you hear her refreshing whispers in the distance, you prepare for the chilling thrill once again.
