yippee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks so much boss ^_^)/ i love tatsuya ! everyone else who is reading this ... go play persona 2 right now !!!!! replaying it and thinking about it a lot lately has just deepened my love for both persona and smt . its really so amazing . anyway, let's positive thinking! and go :D [SPOILERS AHEAD !]

favourite thing about them: i really do think he's the most autistic persona protagonist eheheh ^_^ i love all of his intriguing + strange characteristics (like the engine imitations and um . bisexuality . and how in ep he buys a new lighter even though it's obviously not the same cuz he's so used to having one .. guh) and how he's still COOL, and like, FUN and KIND and ADMIRED. even his unwavering resolve in ep after he's been broken down .... i really look up to him a lot to be honest ^_^)/

least favourite thing about them: nope ! nothing ! the more i think about him the more i love him unconditionally .

favourite line: tatsuya's scenario in psp punishment makes me so so so sick in the head . but i replay it like once every two months anyway "if you want my life, i'll give it to you. if you tell me to fall into darkness, i'll do it. but i won't let anyone have their way with Maya-nee... or this world where my friends live." like the whole thing makes me sob and cry uncontrollably . i would quote it all here if i had any less self-control ^_^;;

brOTP: i love how the cast of innocent sin especially is sointerwoven with their friendships ... i just can't pick one !!!!!!!!! i can't pick ^_^ the team in that game is phenomenal .. not really brOTP .. but tatsuya and katsuya have such an interesting relationship to me, and feel like real brothers . i love it :] !!!!!!!!!

OTP: ofc ... tatsujun . their tiny victories in this godforsaken world are everything to me

nOTP: odd one ... because i love unrequited/otherwise impossible tatsumaya ... but i just can't stand it when it actually happens ? ^_^;; it's so much more interesting to me if it doesn't happen ! but there is still something kind of there ... if you get what i mean !

random headcanon: i like to think about what happens on the other side after tatsuya returns there at the end of ep . i think he and katsuya make up (as much as they can anyways) and look after a vegetable patch ... +++ shiori being a big sis to tatsuya ! i love shiori so much ... i wish we got to see more of them interacting !!

unpopular opinion: i feel like a little hater saying this after waxing poetic about how much i love him ... but i prefer maya as a protagonist ! it's not because of the adult-oriented perspective of ep ... i just think he works better and more interestingly as a party member ! and maya is so fun to play as ^_^)/ !!!!!

I headcanon Tatsuya is jealous of the attention Jun gets from Maya. I like funny misunderstandings like that (because, you know, Jun is like her little brother and he doesn't swing that way).

In my TatsuMaya AU's:

Jun used to have a crush on Tatsuya (in some other AU's they are exes), but then he found out his crush also wants to bone his sister, which he found weird. And he's not as enthusiastic about being a sidehoe as Lisa.

Jun also went through a brief biphobic phase, before he got over it. He reasoned that if Tatsuya "turned out to be straight", he'll want him to choose a girl most similar to him, which happens to be Maya.

As for Lisa, she got over her crush eventually. She has the support of her friends.

Would you say Minato x Hamuko is a popular ship? I mean at least for a ship that was impossible for a good period of time.

It’s.........hard......to say......hmmm....I’d say it was just above rare pair in Japan back with P3P first came out (aka had a good following but since it was new and other contenders it probably didn’t get as big as it could’ve gotten). A bit more rare pair in the West back then tho (tho there were some damn good people who made damn good content). But yeah...I think in the case of a crackship/ship that passes in the night, esp in Japan, it was pretty popular. (at least in Japan) Probably the most popular MCxMC ship (outside TatsuMaya but that’s kinda cheating), ....probably till PQ1 came along for MinatoxSouji (tbh I dunno how popular this is in Japan, but I remember not seeing a lot of shippy content for them pre-PQ1 unlike KitaHamu). 

PQ2 def raised it’s popularity in the west......at least for those who aren’t “they are twins and that’s-that” when....bro....it’s a headcanon (ngl kinda easy to tell who has and who hasn’t played PQ2 by how much they refuse to acknowledge or know that they aren’t related.....which has me torn cause I’d like people to know what the deal with the P3MCs is and to appreciate Hamuko, but other than that........it’s PQ2....I don’t recommend PQ2.....). We all dropped Minato/Naoto sibling (or cousins) thing back with PQ1 we can do the same with PQ2. 

Tho I still say if you have the AU for fun you can still have fun with it I know I do....obvie I don’t ship them together in my twin AU in case....that needed to be said...I’m a multi shipper I obvie ship them with other people when I’m AUing it up 8U (in my AUs where they aren’t related, 95% of the time I’m shipping KitaHamu) But yeah I mean if you wanna have fun with the hc I’m all for it! But don’t mislead people and spread misinformation that they are related just because you like the twin AU thing (esp if it leads to shippers getting harassed, ESPECIALLY horrible if it’s something that’s untrue).

What if Tatsuya and Maya bump into each other again 10 years later, but they forgot about each other, and they feel like they met before? Deja vu happens again, but they both have it this time.

I can see IS!Tatsuya low-key shipping EP!Tatsuya with Maya and slowly nudging him away from Shiori.

Once the Shiori event happened, IS!Tatsuya checked out and said, "You're on your own." And gave EP!Tatsuya full control.

IS!Tatsuya said he was not happy when Maya and co. got involved. But maybe he really was.

During the jumping-out of-the-plane thing in EP, you bet EP!Tatsuya suspect there's something going on with IS!Tatsuya and Jun. IS!Tatsuya usually takes a backseat and tells EP!Tatsuya what to do. But this time it was reversed.

IS!Tatsuya initiated the kiss in the end of EP. EP!Tatsuya fainted afterward. Maya did too, but that's because IS!Tatsuya punched her in the gut before leaving EP!Tatsuya's body.
