Mmh I'll be honest, I'm nothing close to a foodie, but I know what kind of flavours they like!

Keshet has a sweet tooth, from pastries to dates, she's just obsessed. She doesn't get sick of it and doesn't need to drink some water to clean her palate. Her nannies definitely had to make some boundaries on food, and take her to the dentist, when she was a toddler.

Terys likes herbal tastes, she loves roots and vegetables, also tea. She also likes fish- her clan traveled next to water sources, so more often than not they ate fish.

Laïs tends to like her food on the milder side. Bread, apples, those kinds of soothing flavors.

Brown Eyes Looking Into Browner Eyes

Not to toot my own horn (lol I know that's the point of the tag game), but I consider this my magnum opus of 2022. It was the first time I fully incorporated lighting onto a full-piece and I was so proud of how it came out. Seeing all the wonderful comments of ppl loving it meant to much to me :') Also I continue to push my brown eyes supremacy propaganda lmao

Cullen and Immy's babies

Backgrounds are always a challenge for me, full illustrations are in general (sighs in wanting to be a portrait artist then changing my mind & deciding I wanna be an illustrator smh) especially when there's multiple characters in one and there's 5 in this. The whole process of thinking about every aspect - lighting, color palette, poses, dynamics, perspective jmfidi is SO MUCH. But I really wanted to do this because I wanted a full family illustration of Immy and Cullen w/ their bbs. I don't think it's perfect but me finishing it and actually DOING it helps in going forward.

Uh-oh, more Cullen x Immy baby content lol. Cullen and Immy's post-Trespasser's life (my hc of it) is my comfort place. I've never cared about giving OCs babies until I romanced Cullen w Immy and now it's all I can think about ;-; The two of them as mamae and papae just make me jmfidijf and baby Ilao is my absolute beloved even tho she's a menace <3 (Papae Cullen does things to my heart ;-;)

Sinag 2.0

I made Sinag when I was 22, and since I'm 28 now, I've changed quite a bit since then. I've revamped her recently because I've been feeling disconnected with her and I think this helped me find her voice again. So ofc, I had to draw a new proper art piece of her. I was so worried this was going to come out awful because Dragon Age armor in general IS A DOOZY to draw lmao. I'm pleasantly surprised this came out decently, Hawke's armor made me dizzy looking at it lol.

Cullen x Immy as Jane and Bingley

I did a screencap redraw of Lizzie and Darcy as Amihan and Nate, so I decided why not do it with Cullen and Immy - cause I've always seen them as Jane and Bingley. It turned into a full study that took me three weeks (cryin) but I was really happy with how the environments turned out. I really SHOULD DO one again. I put blood sweat and tears into it so I kindly ask to Please Look lol ;-; <3

Neither did I. I specifically said: "Are we not allowed to draw brown people in NSFW outfits if they have a fantasy outfit that makes you think of a specific real life culture, is that what you're saying?" It was a question, and not about drawing brown people naked.

You literally talked about the WOMEN characters in DA and whether or not if my conversation actually pertained to real Orientalism. Yes it fucking does 💀💀💀 because Orientalism literally affects WOMEN first. But okay, I can’t read when I literally ANSWERED that FOR YOU.

You did not read Orientalism by Said, because if YOU PAID ATTENTION, it was not ONLY a damn art movement. It was an art movement that was initiated by European colonizers in Asian and North African countries. That art movement, UNFORTUNATELY, painted an incredibly bad IMAGE OF OUR CULTURES.

I indeed did not read it, but none of my arguments go against what you're saying there. Every country who has stereotypes will have a bad image of their culture displayed in media. It's not unique to orientalism.

Because of Orientalism, many of our Black and Brown populations face a lot of hate crimes and have to deal with incredibly dehumanizing insults about our people. Thinking we’re a threat. Ask anybody on what their thoughts are about the Middle East, because 9 times out of ten, they’re going to be repeating a lot of the same shit by thinking Brown people are some sorts of terrorists or barbaric savages (this specifically stems from Orientalism btw)

It was influenced by the Egyptian ghawazi preforming act. And if you looked on Google. The clothing literally required more covering, but you were still able to belly dance. Modern day belly dancing outfits have more exposure because OF BASTARDIZATION.

I think you again, mixed some of the stuff I said regarding femininity, but it's okay. Raqs sharqi may have not looked like that in the past, but culture changed. Now, in youtube videos that I could watch extensively, they all looked like the youtube video I linked in some ways. Artists will not be able to guess that the way practicians of that art dress is not the way they used to in the past, and nor should they care, because they're not trying to make a historically accurate raqs sharqi outfit. You cannot claim they're racist for not doing a thing they have no knowledge of and can't access unless they do extensively historical researches with no video whatsoever to actually draw movements from, for a fantasy drawing that is not here to depict reality.

Gerudo and the entirety of BOTW, draws from cultures in West Asia and North Africa. If your ass can somehow recognize that Aladdin is Orientalist, then you’d know that BOTW literally exhibits a stereotypical POV of Asian and North African cultures the same way as Aladdin.

BOTW is inspired by west Asia and many other parts of the world, but it doesn't claim to happen in those locations with the same populations. Aladdin does. In order for it to be orientalism, as you said earlier, you need to portray a specific culture in a bad manner. That is why Aladdin is orientalism, but neither BOTW nor DA are.

I am not going to waste my time arguing with you because a lot of the shit you’re saying is BULLSHIT. And somehow you keep on bringing up Japan, as if every Asian culture had been Orientalized by Western powers. Literally the prefix to Orientalism, Oriental, is a descriptor of somebody from the Eastern side of the world.

I referenced Japan once in that post before, because that is a culture I know better than any other one. I studied the Meiji period, specificially the moment when the world pressured Japan to modernize. Back then, there was also a lot of orientalism from people visiting the area in the XIX century. Also, this is such an embarrassing statement to make because it seems like this only applies to you. Culture can play a big part in people’s identity, and their clothing. Japan has distinctive clothing, food, language, and traditions that pertain to only their culture as East Asians. Because that’s literally who they are 💀💀💀. The Gerudo Link outfit and the Gerudo people, are directly taken from West Asian and North African cultures. Heck even the baggy pants that the Gerudo people wear are sirwal/saroual pants.

Culture exists, but people are more than their cultures. French people have a lot of different cultures across the country/islands, we're still all French to the same degree. It is reductive to think that only one specific culture is determining factor to call a population a specific population, and it is inaccurate. Culture also changes all the time, the culture from 40 years ago isn't the same as the one today. It's an ever evolving status. I won't repeat myself in regards to the Gerudo things.. In hs we had to act out a scene from the Crucible and I somehow passed even tho I was recovering from the flu and was accidentally high off nyquil. I don't even remember anything 💀

I have some sort of motor skill delayment issue, it takes me a lot longer to learn and memorize physical things, it took me years to learn how to tie my shoes 😭. when I was a kid we asked about it apparently it's cause I'm a preemie.

8 is why I gave up on piano lessons lol 😭 I struggled so hard with having to play a different rhythm w the bass vs the treble. also my hands couldn't stretch to a whole octave (even this day my hands cannot stretch a whole octave rip)

I’ve heard that when an artist starts thinking their art is getting worse, that often means that they’re on the verge of a big improvement streak. Maybe that’s what’s happening with you?

That’s a nice way of putting light into what I’m feeling with my art. I, too, heard about this phenomenon, and I’m not sure if it’s happened to me before or not.

Mostly, I’m suspecting it’s getting worse because I’m comparing some of the art I made in 2022, and it kinda feels like there’s more effort put into the drawings from the art I did before, in a way? I could also be experiencing a bit of a burnout that might be a key reason as to why I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable with the state of my art progression.

Anyways, thanks for making me feel a bit better anon. I hope I hit some sort of improvement spike, or boost with my upcoming art pieces for 2023. 🥹❤️

Which 3D program do you use?

Hello! Thank you for asking.

I use Blender 3.3.1 that is available on pc or other laptop devices. The program itself is 100% free.

Here’s where you can download it:

I also use DAZ3D to pose my models for my art, and export them into Blender as an .obj file. DAZ3D is also free, but there’s also in-program purchases, that is if you want to buy other 3D models or features. However, I wouldn’t recommend financially supporting the program and its developers as they do NFTs. 🤢 But, most of the features in the program itself should be enough. You can pose and modify the bones, change the body types, and even make your model do specific emotions. I think there’s also an animation feature implemented onto the program, but I haven’t really played around with it.

There’s tutorials on YouTube where you can learn how to use both of these 3D programs, and get used to its interface. (That is rather important because the layout is confusing.)
