I got this @tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask from @sephora as a free sample, I truly enjoyed it. This lip mask’s formula has no smell, is not very sticky, a little goes a long way; and it leaves my lips feeling smooth and well hydrated. My lips are usually super dry (from my condition & meds.) so I’m always needing extra hydration. I need more than just a balms’ protection and i need it twice a day. It’s insane! Add in the cold dry desert weather and it’s just that much worse. . . In a search to find the lowest cost most hydrating product, i feel like I’m constantly trying new lip masks. Between @boxycharm, #BoxycharmPremium, and #Sephora i get to try some good ones all around. Thankfully i can utilize these samples to find what works best for me. . . My lips are also sensitive and react negatively (swelling) to many lower priced sticks and balms. Even the “higher end” ones from drug store brands, or some “luxe” brands make my lips swell. Usually it’s the ones that have gasoline byproducts in them. Since this #Tatcha balm doesn’t have that it works well for me. I would buy this based on the formula since it works well. Price wise? The bite beauty agave works just as well (personally) and is a larger size, this has a thinner more luxurious consistency though, it’d make a nice gift. I bought this @tatcha Dewey Skin Cream cream from @sephora in the #RewardsBazaar Store in their app for 100 points. I love their rewards system because i get to try things before i buy them, and not only in a one time use sample size but a good size for multiple uses. I got probably a good 5 uses out of this. . . The formula is thick and it leaves my skin looking Dewey however, that’s not my favorite skin result, so i don’t think it’s something I’d personally repurchase. Though it does make my skin super soft, after it completely drys. I don’t like that it leaves my skin sticky and my hair sticks to my face until it drys down. (Kinda like lip gloss but all over my face). I had another sample like this that i had also got at the same time, it was the same size but it was a different kind; The Water Cream. I can say that i enjoyed that one better in comparison, i think because it’s a lighter formula, but because i also feel like it gave me more moisture in comparison to the Dewey skin cream. . . Both moisturizers smell good, absorb quick, soften the skin, and aren’t too heavy. Which to buy? Well, it boils down to.. (IMHO) they are both great moisturizers but: if you have dry skin and need or want to add moisture, use the The Water Cream but if you don’t have dry skin and prefer a more Dewey appearance use this one, Dewey Skin Cream. I’ve been wanting to try the @tatcha Luminous Dewey skin mask for like ever!! #Tatcha is one of my favorite #skincare brands so to receive two of these in my box was a blessing! I had just received the Violet C mask for Christmas from my mom. So this is a good addition to my #JBeauty collection. 💜 ••• ••• I’m not a BIG fan of sheet masks so i usually pass them on when i get them. However, i LOVE Tatcha so much that i decided to give them a try and not pass them on. I’ve been wanting to for a while. I used it after my shower. The mask held in place and by the time i took it off most of the serum had already absorbed. I gave it a quick massage and i didn’t use any other products that day, skincare wise. The results were great! My skin was indeed left Luminous, glowing, and soft. ••• ••• Though i enjoyed this mask, i can’t bring myself to purchase it. It’s a one time use product and that means the benefits only last for so long; for me it’s just until i have to wash my face again. I love tatcha but i just can’t afford to buy these on a regular basis.
