"I can't believe you talked me into this." Zooble grumbled, standing next to Pomni. They, Pomni and Jax were on a scavenger hunt for the adventure. A simple find hidden objects game with two teams of three. They were in an urban cityscape filled with randomly generated buildings and people.

"Sorry, but we really needed six people. Caine wouldn't stop pestering me about asking you." Pomni tapped her fingers together anxiously.

Zooble let out a heavy sigh. "What's worse is that I'm stuck with him." She glared at the tall purple rabbit kicking a digital can down the sidewalk.

"Don't lie, you've dreamed of this." Jax grinned.

"More like a nightmare." Zooble narrowed her eyes.

"As long as it was a beautiful one, toots."

"Don't call me that."

"Right, you prefer angry triangle? The adjustable crab? The ever changing art piece?" Jax's grin got wider as he taunted.

"Oh boy..." Pomni hung back, letting Zooble and Jax walk ahead of her to have their inevitable argument. This was so common for them, it was predictable. He'd taunt, she'd get mad, they go back and forth, eventually they walk away. Sometimes Zooble would get so fed up they'd strangle Jax, but that didn't seem to deter him in the long run.

"I prefer rabbit killer." Zooble snapped her claw hand shut.

"oooooh, I'm shaking in my gloves. You're all talk. Not like you could walk with those wonky legs of yours anyway."

"Wanna bet!?" She grabbed Jax by the throat WITH her claw hand, slamming him against the building.

Pomni stopped, keeping clear of Zooble's wrath.

Jax grunted and grabbed at her wrist. He kept a cheeky smile on his face. "Harder~"

Zooble's eyes went wide, but stayed angry. "[%$!#] off with that!" A subtle blush colored her face.

"Nah....I'd rather tell you to your face that I know how much you want to be with me, it's pathetic. Honestly, I pity you." His smile became triumphant as Zooble's claw loosened ever so slightly.

"You're nothing but the embodiment of apathy and cruelty. I despise you." Zooble growled.

Jax leaned his head as far forward as Zooble's claw would let him. "And you're a bitter pile of shapes. Completely indistinguishable from Gloinks, of all things. I can hardly bare to look at you."

Zooble stood closer, lowering their voice. "And yet, you always find a reason to pester me. I'm not the pathetic one here, always pining for attention. You smarmy little-"

"I don't need your attention!" Jax quickly corrected, but avoided eye contact. "It's not my fault you're too easy to rile up. You just love it when I give you the time of day."

"The only thing I love is how much I hate you."

"I hate you too." Jax stared deep into Zooble's eyes.

They said nothing for several seconds, some unheard conversation in their eyes. Zooble harshly pressed her face to Jax's lips. Jax wrapped his arms around Zooble and returned her vigorous kiss. Zooble let go of Jax's neck, wrapping her arms around his neck and holding him to her.

Jax broke the make out for a second. "I knew you couldn't resist me."

"You talk too much." Zooble pulled him back in.

Pomni stared, completely confused. "....what?"
