taron helps you through a panic attack

a/n: i had a panic attack last night and after it happened i sat there and actually imagined taron talking me through it. so i decided to write this.

plot: taron helps you through a panic attack

you sat there in your bed shaking and head in your hands. it was happening. your anxiety beat you once again and you were having an attack. you tried to hold back tears. you felt your throat tighten and you start to let out a whimpering sob. suddenly, you feel the bed shift and see that you had woken up the male figure laying next to you. taron.

“y/n? are you okay? what’s happening?” taron asked worried as he sat up checking on you. taron got up and turned on the lights and saw you sitting there shaking and crying. he knew what was happening. he immediately ran downstairs and grabbed you a glass of water and brought it back to you.

“y/n. if you can hear me, i’m here. i’m not going anywhere. i will help you through this. i need you to stand up and sit on the floor with me please.” taron spoke as he held your head in his hands. you nodded and taron helped you to the end of the bed and sat with you on the floor, sitting right across from you.

taron proceeded to grab one of your hands and rub his thumb back and forth against the back of your hand.

“look at me and breathe with me. it’s going to be okay. i promise. i’m not leaving.” taron said softly. you continued to cry and shake but looked at him. his eyes met yours and you felt your nerves slowly go away.

taron led you through some deep breathes and continued to help you. he handed you the glass of water and helped you as he helped put the straw in your mouth. you took small sips and took deep breaths.

“that’s it. just take some deep breathes. it will be okay. i’m here. nothing is going to hurt you. i won’t let anything happen to you. you’re safe with me.” taron said calmly.

he sat there and remembered that his singing always calmed you down.

“it’s a little bit funny,” he began. you look in his eyes again and smiled. he continued to sing and you closed your eyes and took deep breaths. finally, your anxiety slipped away and your body released from tension and you took a breath of relief.

“there you are.” taron smiled. “are you feeling any better?”

“much better. thank you so much, taron. i’m so sorry you had to see that happen. that was so embarrassing. i’m sorry i woke you up.” you said.

“don’t ever apologize for something you can’t control. things like this happen. i don’t know what it’s like to have these attacks, but i promise, no matter what, i will always try my best to help you get through them. i won’t leave your side even if it’s for hours. days. years. i’m here. i promise.” taron proceeded to tell you. “i love you. i made a promise to be there for you no matter what, and i am sticking to that promise.” he smiled

your heart felt full and happy. you didn’t understand how you got so lucky to have someone like taron in your life.

you gave taron the biggest and warmest hug after standing up.

“i’ll go run you a bath and grab some elton vinyls.” taron said after kissing your cheek.

you smiled and sat on the bed as he did so. you loved him and couldn’t thank him enough for everything he was doing to help you recover from what just happened.

" I don't think I've ever seen you smiling like this before, who is she Taron?"

Taron knows that you aren't ready to be public yet because you're still not ready to deal with the paparazzi..but he can't help but think about your smile when asked the question.

"Uhm.. there is no girl I'm just really at the best place in my life currently" he says while scratching the back of his head and acting coy.
