Before I started working, I was looking for something to get my mind focus externally after my morning #meditation. Then, I picked up the sniper rifle pellet gun to do some #targetpratice. I visualized he bullseye as the target 🎯 of my life rather than just a regular bullseye. I couldn't help but thinking that it took me a while for me to get to such #accuracy with this short ranged #shooting practice. The more I pondered on the #goals of my life, the more I became motivated to get closer to those goals everyday. Even just a #babystep #forward is better than staying still. Every day, I asks myself three #simple questions: 1️⃣ How do you want to live the rest of your #life before you #die ? 2️⃣ What are you doing today to get closer to the #lifestyle you want? 3️⃣ (At the end of the day) Have you don't your best today? Often enough, my closest friends around me would say, "Hey Guan Tyng, you are working too hard. Why don't to kick back and relax for a little but?" Inside my mind, I told myself, "I wouldn't want to take a break unless it is necessary." This reminds me of what Eric Thomas @etthehiphoppreacher preaches everyday on #youtube, "When you want to #succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be #successful !" I still remember the days when I was knocking #door-to-door in the #deepsouth selling educational books and #bibles to put myself through college, I would fill myself with inspiration by listening to Will Smith's interview compilation. @willsmithac said quite a few things about being successful, here are my favorites: "I've never really considered myself as particularly #talented. Where I #excel is #ridiculous and #sickening #workethic . When other guys [are] eating, I am #working ; when other guys [are] sleeping, I am working. The separation between talent and skill is one of the most misunderstood concepts for people who want to excel, who have dreams, who want to do things. #Talent, you have it naturally; #skill is developed only by hours, and hours, and hours of beating on your #craft. There's no easy way around it. No matter how talented you are, you talent is going to fail you if you are not skilled. If you don't study
