So begins the start of Grima's studies. She had rushed so quickly to Fodlan that she hadn't taken the time to learn about the lands there. So the library would be her first stop. She was quick to find books on the history of Fodlan and on the religions of the land. She also snagged a couple books on various combat techniques in Fodlan, sitting herself down at a table. She opened every single book up and placed them in rows. It was easier to consume knowledge in large chunks though to others she must have appeared strange or extremely diligent in her studies. She also had a notebook, taking meticulous notes on areas she'd want to return to or find more books on.

It wasn't until she was deep into her studies that she felt eyes on her. She was quick to lift her head, catching eyes with the individual who had the misfortune of glancing at her. With a raise of her eyebrows, she pointed at the seat next to her. It was a silent invitation. If the worm wanted to stare, then they could sit down beside her and she could wring more information about the world around them out of them.

"Take a seat. I could use a study partner." She said, just loud enough to be heard.

To me, Machete kind of has the energy of a secondary villain/coldhearted side character in someone else's story that a lot of fans latch onto, moreso than the protagonist. Question is, would he be the villain in anyone's story?

Why, thank you! I'm actually glad to hear he gives off that vibe. I don't think he set out to become a villain but a lot of people certainly view him as one.
