Kipekee doesn't know how excited we were to find a second like her.

Lonesome George didn't know people came from all over to see him, and will continue to pay tribute to his taxidemied shell. I wept looking at him in the AMNH, and for Martha and for Benjamin and Celia and all other, nameless endlings. I looked at him and wondered if the last Neanderthal knew they were the last.

Eclipse never knew he was a champion. Dolly didn't know she was a breakthrough. Balto didn't know he was a hero. Laika never knew what she died for or that we regretted her death or that we still speak her name.

Just realized that a therian's wall of heroes would probably have a lot of remarkable animal entities on it. Magawa, the rat who was exceptional at detecting landmines. Romeo, the wild Alaskan grey wolf who had exceptional relationships with humans and pets. Secretariat the race horse. Wolf 21 (or any noteable wolf you would prefer). Even local heroes with no world-wide noteriety could be there--the emotional support horse that visits the local children's hospital. Matt Harnacke's horse Emporio, who aside from looking gorgeous in tiktoks literally made me finally awaken as a horse therian proper. Lisette the war mare who mauled and then allegedly consumed part of a Russian soldier's face. Bear 435 Holly, the winner of Fat Bear Week in 2019. O Six. Deep Blue. Balto. Dolly. Saint Guinefort. Hachiko. Tama the train cat. Cher Ami. Tardar Sauce. 907F. And of course, Laika the space dog.

These figures could either be role models, historic figures, or gods. They represent that even in a human-dominated world, we're still worth noting and memorializing in texts and paintings. Mortal animals still move people, and I can just imagine how it would feel seeing an article made about someone of your kintype and going "That's me. That's my family. They're my kind." Especially after being so alienated from humankind in general.

I am griefstriken by the passing of Kabosu, the Shiba Inu who took the world by storm under the loveable pseudonym, Doge. This dog had more impact on the world than most people do, and things just won't be the same without them. Kabuso goes now to join the likes of Neil the Tune Banger, Tardar Sauce the Grumpy Cat, and the great martyrs Harambe and Cecil the Lion in Paradise. May she run free forever through fields of alfalfa, where endless bones await her.

Jack is a tiny Manx cat, if you dont know what a Manx is they dont have a tail :) Jack is also missing the top of his left ear because he was a stray; Like a typical Manx cat Jack is super curious and loves to play and LOVES to cuddle and will typically spend all day in someone's lap. Jack is also best friend's with submitter's dog Apollo (A big husky!!) they love to cuddle, clean each other and play!

Not a suggestion but a question, do pets count as real people?

Like if I asked if Tardar Sauce, also known as Grumpy Cat would pay child support would that break the rule?

Or could it be considered that Grumpy Cat is a fictional role played by Tardar Sauce, making it so Grumpy Cat could be rated but not Tardar Sauce herself?

What about my dog? My dog does not play any character and she is generally unknown to the public space, would asking her to be rated be a breach of her privacy?
