why am i smiling, giggling, and kicking my feet at something that I wrote myself. what is wrong with me

I was actually really surprised by the answers to that poll!

So my idea so far, which is still kind of half-baked since I still have a lot to go on Little Less is based around my own experiences growing up in Tae Kwon Do. However, I didn't have my romantic experiences there so don't even think about it. (just one of my first baby crushes).

The romance aspect I was thinking of like an adult Jack and Kim in Kickin' It (Olivia Holt in that was my gay awakening). So teasing kind of acknowledging their crushes quickly, but not being willing to do anything about it. Sparring partners in my martial arts experiences have a very particular and special kind of relationship and I want that to be the focus before any of the smooches happen.

So that's the idea so far, if you have an idea or a suggestion or a question feel free to send me an ask. I have a lot of thoughts but not any structure yet so you never know you might see it come up!

Kit nodded and massaged her eyes with the heels of her hands once more. “Thanks, Jade,” she said softly and took a long pull off of the milkshake. It was even better than she had expected. “They used your strawberries in this, didn’t they?”

“Yes, ma’am. I sell them to Willow and he sells them to whoever needs them in town.” Jade informed her, a bit of pride and happiness in her eyes.

“Bet Elora doesn’t need to buy strawberries.” Kit mumbled lower than anyone could actually hear.“It’s really fucking good.” Kit nodded before she started eating in earnest.

“Language.”

“Whose side is Boorman on?” Kit asked Jade watching the fight and glancing between Jade and the fighters.

“You mean right now? Unclear.” Jade scoffed before helping to grasp the oar as Kit swung it again and changed her mind at the last moment to duck beneath and around Kit. She pulled a discarded sword from a pile, her energy returned with eyes set on a hale and hearty Kit Tanthalos. Her second wind was in full effect.

Jade felt Kit mirroring her actions. The governor’s daughter was out of practice after having been forbidden from practicing or ‘playing’ as Sorsha had put it about eight years before. However, her body seemed to remember the movements, and Kit’s instincts had always been good. Jade fell into sync with Kit as naturally as she filled her lungs with breath.

When she glanced over, Kit’s teeth were gritted, but she was also grinning furiously and Jade knew she was having just as much fun. The din had been miserable before, but it paused when Jade shoved a grenade into a skeleton’s stomach and then kicked him out of the moonlight where it couldn’t be removed through his now flesh stomach. He exploded along with two others. This drew Boorman and Toth’s eyes. Jade looked down where her fingers still bled and nodded to Boorman
