The Prelude
There are many points in one’s life that you are able to reinvent yourself and point yourself in a new direction. Today is that day and I have sent new goals and higher standards for myself, Beginning this program has given me a unique opportunity to not only reinvent myself, but to do so while learning how I can build skills to further my brand, Tarable Thoughts. I joined the Public Relations  program to develop my skills in branding companies and to maximize my own platform in the process.
Tarable Thoughts is my social media platform that mixes the need for an outlet and motivation for other women and men with my love for beauty, music, and travelling. The name is a play on words that I thought of when I felt like my voice did not matter because my perspective was too different or unpopular. I have since changed it to be unique, sought after, and valued. My goal for Tarable Thoughts is for it to expand on all social media platforms and eventually into its own website fully equipped with advertisements, blogs, and business partnerships.
Over the next 12 months, I hope to fully immerse myself into the field of Public Relations. I want to learn everything I can and while tracking my progress on my Mastery Journal. I will use everything I learn in my current position and gain invaluable experience, and any projects or assignments I have will be geared towards furthering Tarable Thoughts so that I can track the growth of the brand I am trying to build. Mentally I want to grow out of procrastination and the self-doubt I carry and really push myself. I know that I contain limitless potential, and by the end of this program, it will be fully realized.
 -       Now that’s a Tarable Thought.

You Almost Won ROI, but I Always Come Out On Top!
Every time I write this review of the previous class I realize just how fast this program is coming to an end. I’m at the point in my mastery journey where all the classes are only getting harder, but I am up for the challenge. Initially I thought that this class was going to teach me how to understand analytics for different social media sites and turn those analytics into reports. I think this class did that well. There was a lot of information to process but I think I did a good job of taking it all in and being able to really understand how the metrics are important to the overall goal of a company.
I am going to apply my new found knowledge of analytics by trying to improve my own social media analytics and set goals for my own website and brand. Using this for personal use and tracking it will allow me to have data to speak about at a professional level. I am also going to use this information to also help my friends and their up and coming brands with their social media analytics as well to add to my portfolio and their brands at the same time. I also am going to really apply myself to researching more about the analytics as it applies to Google Adword because that portion of the class was difficult to actually apply to my website because my site is not finished yet. I think that I am reaching a point in the program where the assignments assume that you are farther into your own brand then some of us may actually be, but that is just making me work a little harder to be able to apply these lessons to my current branding strategy.
I will say that for me this class and the information would have been better received in person. I have always been a fan of learning in an actual classroom, and there was just so much interpreting and so many questions that would have been better answered in person. That is something I signed up for when I entered this program.
Thank you ROI for everything and until next time!
