Unpopular opinion I think but

After the moment Seo Yul got rid of the blood worm, it could have been nice if he partially (or even totally) lost his powers.

It also would have been an interesting parallel to Jang Uk's situation with him going from "powerless noble" to "strongest mage alive" and Seo Yul from "genius mage" to "less strong/powerless one."

I think that 3 years of having an energy-eating worm in him (which reached his energy core at the end) should have lead to more consequences.

Him only being sick while the worm was stil in him was not really enough.

Maybe he could have had some issues doing Ryusu or start training again to reach Chisu ?

Seo Yul being who he is maybe he would have taken it as some kind of atonement or something like that 🤔
