My Rook's name is Lycoris! I intend to make her a Spellblade Mage!

When she was younger and the growing pains of her horns were settling in, she got it in her head that her skeleton was trying to break free. It's her family's favorite thing to tease her about.

She's definitely been given some leeway when joining the Mourn Watch and she is not ashamed of that lmao. She takes an advantage here or there and pissed off a few folks, for sure. That being said, though...

After the events of the backstory, I can imagine that Lycoris is really nervous about having to travel. She's always been accompanied by the other necromancers, so not having them there as a crutch has left her feeling a bit exposed. While she has plenty of skill, she can't hide behind those that raised her when things get tough.

Ok omg I already thought of a question: Does Lycoris likes animals? I know we aren't getting mounts this time, but I was thinking about how they've talked about us getting to pet Assan and other animals we come across.

Also on that note, if she did get to have a mount, what type do you think Lycoris would pick?

Does Lycoris like animals? Short answer, yes. She loves them. Long answer:

She tries not to let her excitement get the better of her when she sees one. When she was a child, she was always scolded for grabbing them up with her toddler grip lol. Of course, she knows better by now, but it's easy for her to get distracted if she sees something she deems cuddly.

As for a mount, she'd go for a Tirashan Swiftwind.

They're described as intelligent and not afraid to direct you. She'd love that they don't suffer fools as the codex says about them. She'd also enjoy marveling at their antlers.

Hello again! I come with a couple questions this time.

I saw your tags on the post about Solas/Cadash and wanted to ask if you ship a non-Lavellan with him? I wish he'd been available for others too, it would have been such a juicy story

And secondly for Lycoris: Does she play any instruments? If not, is there anything she wishes she could play? Does she like to dance, or listen to music? I've been listening to the DAV theme on loop and now music is on the brain lol

Sadly, I don't have an Inquisitor to explore that idea. I did make a Dwarf Inquisitor recently named Kilsig, who likes the idea of being Herald. I intended him for Dorian, but I could definitely attempt to reimagine what it could've been like if Solas was available!

Ahh yes, the main theme is great! Makes me excited for the game!

Lycoris likes the way the lute sounds. One of her parents purchased one for her when she was younger, and she quickly discovered it was a terrible investment when she found that she grew terribly bored after a while lmao. Doesn't let anyone touch the lute til this day, though. She's hoping that she'll want to pick it back up...eventually.

Dancing is more her thing, yes! Waltzes are her favorite.

Vows and Vengeance Episode Eight spoilers below!!

I was happy to hear Harding and Varric, even if he's not doing so great. My queen Neve was amazing! It was nice to see her in her element (no pun intended lol).

Ughhh, poor Nadia. It was so sad to hear her be tormented by Maeror like that. She fucked his ass up though and I'm proud that she let herself be vulnerable in the end.

I'm glad Nadia has a chance to heal and I hope her and Drayden are able to help those who need it!

I'm a bit sad it's over, but hey, at least Veilguard's gonna be here soon!

I loved Taash sticking around for a bit. She's such a good friend! And she kicks ass, crushing hands and shit.

Drayden being from Antiva definitely was something I wasn't expecting! I hate that they lost their family, though, especially after thinking they despised them.

And Lucanis is funny as hell, talking about needing a coffee in the middle of a fight. Sleep deprived short king lol. I thought I loved him before and I definitely love him even more. I like that he was empathetic to Drayden and helped them out. That Captain is a bitch for hurting them.

I'm so excited for Emmrich (and Manfred, hopefully)! I know he'd be able to help Drayden out!

Yo, I'm watching disapproval scenes from Inquisition. Omg they're so sad! Just got done seeing Sera's romanced one.

I'm having thoughts, so forgive any discrepancies with lore and stuff, but I had to get this out of my head lol. Rambling under the cut!

I know it's a thing that Dwarfs lack a connection to the Fade. But I saw on the wiki that Dwarves can be brought into the Fade in exceptional conditions, so considering that...

My thought is that how cool it would have been to have a romance with Solas as a Dwarf. Hear me out. Imagine a Dwarf being able to dream because of the mark and they enter the Fade with Solas or something.

Like I don't have any ideas on how it could be deepened, like with the elven history and the vallaslin stuff with Lavellan (and if anybody more well-versed in the lore than me has any ideas, please feel free to add!!). But I just had the thought of a Dwarf who wanted to keep the Mark despite the pain and how tragic it could be for Solas to take it from them, because it could be the only way they could be connected to Solas and be able to dream.

Like...imagine a blurb like the one with Lavellan's. About how she saw him in her dreams but he was always far away. But it could be like...

"Cadash closed his eyes and waited every night for the dreams to return. He was met with nothing but an aching heart when he woke. He could not dream of his love anymore or anything else. Still, he tried. He tried, he tried, he tried."

Something like that I dunno. I had to get that off my chest sorry lmao
