Tami's Bedroom Tour! (a.k.a. the bedroom of my dreams) 🥰
Two weeks ago I started rendering the room by adding The Sims 4 furniture + additional other models, since I wanted some sort of background in which the models actually stand, instead of adding an image behind them and then it doesn't look good. Tami's bedroom is based on the description in my fanfic Meet the Family, but it's been changed a bit and I've added a few things + some mini-little lore from Crossverse.
Enjoy! :3

Fun fact: I have Assassin's Creed: The Essential Guide book irl, but not Remembering Cheetahs unfortunately (maybe I will order it one day).
One photo frame is just my banner artwork of TaE Family, so I don't need to explain this one.
Plushies of Altaïr and dove (models made by me! <3)
Tumblr media
The plushie of Altaïr was given to Tami by Talidea on her 21st birthday. The freckles and beard were added after Tami started dating Altaïr to make it look more closely to him.
The old dove plushie is made by Maud, Altaïr's mother, before when Altaïr was born and it was given to him by his father Umar. It's the only relic left from his parents. Later Altaïr gave it to Tami and another years later to their daughter Sabina.

Tami spends most of her time on the computer, so that's why her desk is a little bit messy. She wears blue light blocking glasses when she works on her laptop.
Assassin's Creed: The Secret Crusade is Tami's the most favourite book and thanks to that, she fell in love with Altaïr and his story even more.
Due to this she has hung posters of Altaïr around the bedroom.

The genera of dinosaurs from left to right: Parasaurolophus, Coelophysis, Spinosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Dryosaurus and Velociraptor.
Tami used to collect them from childhood.
Dinosaurs Up Close book (it's a fictional book)
Tumblr media
Dinosaurs Up Close is a popular book photo gallery that shows close-ups of beautiful dinosaurs. It even won Book of the Year. It's one of Tami's favourite (dinosaur) books.
The Royal Celts is an independent book publishing company located in Ashte'quel, the capital of Havaykia. They mostly publish nature science and history literature.
Julius Hamphry is a famous human paleozoologist and dinosaur expert from Greentree. He wrote several nature science novels and encyclopedias.
Tessia Leafsong is a night elf photographer who was able to get too close to even the most dangerous creatures for a photo. Although her photos are professional, her family is worried for her safety as she often takes risks. But Tessia said she enjoys it.
Altaïr's statue and AC1 video game cover
Tumblr media
Tami was ordering an Altaïr's statue that was on sale. It was around the time she started playing Assassin's Creed and becoming a fan of Altaïr.
Copy of the AC1 video game is the beginning of when Tami started to love this franchise and Altaïr.
Parasaurolophus plushie (model made by me! <3) and photo of Altaïr and Tami with Raven and Caukasa
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Parasaurolophus plushie was stitched Talidea for Tami on her 9th birthday since this dinosaur is Tami's favourite.
This photo was taken shortly after returning from their first mission together, which was a success. They were photographed by Desmond.

Ok y’all I have a serious question:
I’ve been thinking about writing an Infamous Second Son Fanfic with myself as a character.
However I have no idea if this is a good idea?. Am I going to get hate for this?
My biggest inspirations for this is @tamiisnthere and @gladii0lus . Special shout-out to them.

Crossover Universe/Altami – Meet the Family
Summary: Altaïr arrived for his first visit, Tami introduced him to the TaE Family and gave him a tour of the ranch. Trigger Warnings: Only a few swears and before ending memories of a sad childhood, but it's more a bit of a silly and cheerful fanfic. Also too much yapping + bad English and some grammatical errors. 😅
So… This is my longest oneshot fanfic with 11,581 words! Holy moly! 😭 But I'll admit it won't be as good, since I use the same words and phrases a lot of times in there and a few things were a bit inspired from my life (not exactly btw). But I hope you don't mind and you will enjoy it. Even though I know it's going to flop, I'm stilly happy that is finally finished. 💕
Edit: Fanfic is in the process of editing since it has so many grammatical errors and phrases!
Enjoy! 💗
It was Saturday morning, Tami hadn't stopped thinking about Altaïr and their first kiss from yesterday. She couldn't wait for him to come visit her. She had a lovestruck smile on her face and was lost in her daydreams, ignoring her surroundings.
"Tami? Hello? Tami!" Emma's voice woke her up from her thoughts, sitting next to her on the right side of the dining table. Right now, the TaE Family was having breakfast and they were giving her a puzzled stare.
"Oh! Sorry! What happened?" Tami asked in a dazed tone. "You haven't touched your cereal yet," Tanisa echoed from her left. "Oh! Yeah! Right! I'm eating right now!" Tami nodded her head and started eating her breakfast, but thoughts of her new boyfriend still remained.
Talidea and Taino eyed each other concernedly. It had been six months since Tami had constantly mentioned Altaïr, yet they had never met him once. And yesterday it caught them by surprise when she said they started dating, which none of the family believed her.
"What should we tell her?" Talidea asked whisperingly to her husband, who was pondering as he ate. Then he swallowed and responded: "We have to confront her with it. It's the only way."
"But we're not going to hurt her like that?" Talidea feared. Taino sighed, "It's going to hurt her more if it doesn't get better. Try to get a word with her." "What?" raised her eyebrows. "You're her sister, come on…"
Talidea gained courage and asked her sister: "Hey, Tami?" Tami stopped eating for a moment and gazed at her Night Elf sister. "Yes, Dea?" she asked with a sweet smile. "Well..." Talidea began to speak nervously, trying not to hurt her, "You said yesterday that you started dating that Altaïr guy, right?"
"Yes! And he told me if he doesn't have a mission today, he'll come to visit!" Tami exclaimed excitedly. "And he's really real?" Talar joined the conversation. "Precisely! He's not quite the same exact Altaïr from the game or the legends, but he's still sweet!" Tami blushed, remembering her boyfriend.
Taino was about to say something, but Relante interrupted him, "Do you know where he came from?" "He is from the Island of Eagle, specifically from the town of Accipiteria. He and the other assassins arrived into Havaykia because the Templars attacked them and they had to seek refuge," Tami explained.
"Well, I heard about this attack almost three quarters of a year ago," Tarion chimed in, "But apparently those Templars told that they killed them all." "I wonder how they managed to escape if it's true that the assassins are here," Gavin commented. "Yeah, that had to be terrifying," Takuya added. "And he's supposedly rescued you several times, hasn't he?" Hoody Boy questioned curiously. "Yeah! He's my hero!" Tami sighed happily.
Talidea calmed down and smiled as the family and Tami had a nice chat. "You know what, dear?" Talidea whispered as she leaned toward him, "Maybe that Altaïr is real. After all, we live on a planet full of surprises!" Taino grabbed his nose bridge and sighed with disappointment.
"How is it odd that Altaïr is located in Gepardia?" Emma started talking, "Of all the places on this island and in this world, he chose to live here."
"Like, when I got into Thansuokria, I was in Azerwias at first," Maiev started to speak, "And then I sailed into Havaykia." "You sailed all the way up here since you found out I live here, mother," Elphina rolled her eyes and the rest of the family giggled.
"But you were glad we reunited in the end." "Just I still don't get how you figure out…" Elphina and Maiev were talking to each other, breaking away from the conversation about Tami's boyfriend.
"He can do parkour?" "Like a wallrun?" Northy and Southy questioned her. "Yes and yes! His movements are so delightful!" Tami answered cheerfully.
"And have you kissed yet?" Clara queried with a curious smile. "Yeah, Clara!" Tami chuckled, "We kissed yesterday and that's how we became partners! He's a true gentleman for an assassin!" "Awww!" cooed Clara, Tanisa and Relante like thrilled fangirls.
"Pffft! Are you serious?" Jarrod voiced gruffly, crossing his arms, "We're really gonna let some random assassin come to us just like this?" "And you're a former mercenary," added Cleanth, who was sitting next to him finishing his breakfast. "Nobody asked you!" Scout scowled at him and Purifier just chuckled derisively.
"Are you jealous, cousin?" Lennon smirked. "Absolutely not!" Jarrod declared proudly, but he leaned over to his cousin and whispered: "Maybe a little bit… And hopefully my package would arrive today."
Suddenly, the ranch doorbell rang. Everyone fell silent…
"He's here!" Tami beamed and rushed out of the house. "Wait! Isn't that my package!?" called Jarrod, but she no longer heard him. She was sprinting down the sidewalk at full speed. She passed between Cerato's and Microraptor's enclosures to the gate under the stone archway. She opened the gate door and saw…
"Good morning, I have a delivery for Mr. Fastrunner," the human deliveryman said, "Is he at home?" Tami's smile disappeared from her face and she sighed disappointedly. "Greetings. Yes, he's at home. I'll bring it to him." She took the package into her arms, thanked the deliveryman, and he happily left. Sorrowfully and slowly she was closing the gate, until-
"Safety and peace, Tami." She heard a familiar voice, put the package on the ground and turned behind. Altaïr was standing in front of her and smiled heartily at her, making her gasp. "Altaïr!" She leaped into his arms with pure joy and they embraced each other tightly.
"I missed you…" she whispered into his ear. He chuckled sweetly. "We actually saw each other last night, but honestly: I missed you, too." The two stared into each other's eyes passionately and after a moment they kissed on the lips.
"So, Tami? Did he really arrive?" "Or it was that-" Clara and Lennon gasped as they ran and stopped in surprise when they spotted them kissing. "Oh… My… Goodness…" Clara disbelieved her own eyes and covered her mouth. Lennon's jaw drooped from the shock. "It's going to throw Jarrod off," he commented.
After the kiss, Tami noticed them: "Clara! Lennon! Meet Altaïr, my boyfriend! And Altaïr, meet Clara and Lennon, my friends!" The Assassin glanced at the pair of Scouts and offered his hand for a handshake, "Safety and peace, both of you."
"Oh! Welcome to TaE Family's Ranch, sir!" Clara enthusiastically shook his hand, which bothered Lennon and he fake coughed from jealousy. "Oh! Sorry, darling!" Clara blushed and hugged her husband.
"You two are together? Aren't you two from two rival factions?" Altaïr asked confusedly. "We were once in rival factions against each other," Lennon answered frowning, still holding Clara close. "And once again, yes, Clara is my wife."
"Ah, don't worry about it," Altaïr placed his hand on Tami's waist and pressed her closer to him. "My eyes are fixed only on this magnificent miss," he smirked confidently at Tami and she timidly smiled at her boyfriend. Lennon was relieved, smiled and gave him a handshake: "All right then! Welcome to us!"
From behind the enclosure fence, Cerato appeared, growling and snarling at the stranger. Altaïr startled and stepped back: "What is that?" He questioned slightly frightened, but tried to hide it. "Oh, it's Cerato!" Clara replied, "She's our tame Ceratosaurus that we've been raising since she was a baby! Don't worry, she's friendly!" Clara grinned pridefully, while behind her Lennon trembled his hand in front of the neck and shook head saying no.
"Riiiiggghht…" nervously Altaïr smiled at them. "Okay, Clara and Lennon! Listen, Jarrod's package has already arrived, so you can bring it to him!" Tami spoke up, giving the box into Lennon's arms. "Ufff! Those must be his baseballs," Lennon groaned. "Come on, drahý! I'll introduce you to the others!" Tami delighted as they headed into the house, dragging Altaïr along.
Altaïr was amazed at what he was experiencing around him: the birds singing, the trumpeting of the hadrosaurs from the huge enclosure, and the smells of fresh crops from the garden and the flowers around them. "I didn't expect you to have a ranch so huge and alive," Altaïr said stunned, "It looks like paradise here, except for the trumpeting…"
"Thanks, and you can get used to the hadrosaur's trumpeting as long as you're not near them," Tami giggled, "Then I'll show you around here, but first you'll get to know my family!" He nodded and Tami opened the door of the house. "Guuuyyyysss~" The entire TaE Family looked at her and waited. "Meet… Altaïr!" Tami pulled Altaïr inside, and they all gasped in surprise, their jaws dropping.
"Safety and peace, TaE Family," Altaïr greeted them, bowing politely to them. "Oh my Elune! He's real!?" shouted Talidea in disbelief. "See? I wasn't lying to you at all!" Tami smiled. "I can't believe it…" Gavin held his breath and went to pass out, but Takuya stopped him.
"Oh, Tami! I'm glad you'd rather be with him…" Cleanth said, glancing mockingly at Jarrod, who was shocked that his ex-girlfriend had found a new boyfriend, "…than that imbecile standing next to me." "Go to hell, Cleanth!" Jarrod frowned. "Cleanth! Don't be mean to Jarrod!" Tami scolded him mischievously. "Mon Dieu! I was only joking!"
"Hold on, Tami..." Altaïr said, "Jarrod is your ex-boyfriend?" "Exactly!" Jarrod raised a finger at him angrily, "Listen to me, assassin! I'll give you one advice…"
The atmosphere choked with tension as Assassin and Scout gazed into each other's eyes with murderous stares. Everyone became anxious, and Tami prepared to step in so that her current boyfriend and ex-boyfriend wouldn't kill each other.
Jarrod finally opened his mouth: "Take good care of her and be a better partner than I was!" Altaïr didn't expect these words from him. "So you're not mad that I'm with Tami?" "Well, I do feel a little bit of jealousy, but we're still friends. So be good to her, please."
"Alright then. He just dumped the most beautiful lady in this entire world," Altaïr joked, wrapping his arm around Tami, making her blush with happiness. "But thank you for that, so I can be with her." His response made Cleanth and Hunters laugh and Jarrod grunted a bit in irritation.
"Sorry, Jarrod," Tami apologized to him. "But good for you. I'm really happy for you," Jarrod stated genuinely, which made Tami smile. "Hey, Jarrod!" Lennon walked in with Clara, "Your package has arrived!" "Oh! My baseballs!" Jarrod went to open his package, meanwhile a tall shadow loomed over Tami and Altaïr.
"Ishnu-alah, Altaïr. My name is Talar! Nice to meet you!" Altaïr stiffened. He was impressed by Talar's height, which was over 200 centimeters, easily towering over him. Talar excitedly offered him his large hand, which could perhaps kill with one blow into Altaïr's face. Altaïr eyed Tami insecurely, but soon got over it and they shared a handshake. "I'm pleased to meet you as well," Altaïr retorted.
Soon the rest of TaE Family approached him and gradually got introduced by handshaking. Altaïr didn't feel comfortable about it at first, as he was an introvert, constantly showing respect to her girlfriend's family. He noticed Hunters shaking hands with him, but decided not to deal with them for now. However, not everyone was happy to welcome him: Taino, Maiev and Elphina kept their distance from him. Even Emma looked unsure as she offered a handshake.
"All right, everybody," Taino started, "All of you know Altaïr now, but we've got a lot of work to do today, so get ready!" They all nodded to him and all prepared for their own duties. Only Altaïr, Tami and Talidea remained.
"Taino! Darling!" Dea called him cheerfully, "You haven't introduced to him yet! Come on!" Taino sighed and walked towards the three. "Elune-Adore, Altaïr," Taino greeted him politely, but kept his tone cold. "Peace be upon you, sir," Altaïr greeted him monotonously. They shook their hands anyway.
"You're supposed to be the leader of this ranch, as your wife said?" Altaïr asked. "Correct. Why do you ask?" Taino crossed his arms. "I suspect my presence makes you uncomfortable, but I want to assure you that my brotherhood has no ill plans or interest towards your ranch or your family. I've come to see my beloved Tami." The young assassin looked warmly at Tami, who smiled back.
"Hey, Dea? Taino? May I give Altaïr a tour of the entire ranch and the interior of the house, please?" Tami pleaded with big brown puppy dog eyes on them. "Of course, my dear sister!" Talidea agreed delightedly, "That sounds like an outstanding idea! Right, Taino?" Taino sighed in defeat once again, "You may, but please be careful. Some of our animals are not used to strangers."
"I noticed, sir…" Altaïr added, remembering Cerato uneasy. "Thanks!" Tami impatiently dragged her beloved outside, "Come on, Alty! I'll show you the aviaries first! See you later!" " Have fun, you two!" Talidea waved at them. Taino stared unsurely at the pair as they dashed out the door. "Love?" he addressed his wife. "Yes, darling?" "I don't know about you, but that assassin boy gives me a bad feeling."
"Oh, Taino, don't worry. You felt the same way when Tami started dating Jarrod," Talidea wrapped her arms around her husband's neck. "True, but this is different. Since the Templars are in Gepardia, I fear they may endanger our family." "Listen, honey. If Tami's speaking the truth, that Altaïr is an incredible man, then we can trust them." "If you say so…"
Meanwhile, Tami was leading Altaïr towards the two aviaries, where the singing of some birds Altaïr had never heard before could be heard. The two entered one of them, where they found several trees whose leaves hid the little creatures chirping there.
"Tami, you called me Alty…" Altaïr crossed his arms playfully. "Oops! Sorry…" blushed Tami, shyly looking elsewhere, "I think it's cute." He just chuckled softly, placed his right palm on her cheek and gently caressed it with his thumb. "It's fine. I actually like this nickname from you. Only you can call me that." Tami smiled at him again and kissed his palm, which made Altaïr's face redden. Yet he smirked and then kissed her forehead, making her freeze.
Suddenly, a small Microraptor landed on Tami's right shoulder. Altaïr freaked out, "What is it?" he inquired. "Oh! Hi, Raven!" Tami greeted the little dinosaur and petted his head, "Alty, meet Raven, one of our Microraptors!" "One of yours?" Shortly, the other Microraptors and Archaeopteryxes flew over and sat on them as well. "Oh, hello!" Altaïr greeted them carefully, but smiled at the small feathered dinosaurs. "Those who have no wings on their legs are Archaeopteryxes," Tami said, giving them pellets, which some of them started to eat from her hand.
"The two genera didn't live together at the same time and place on Earth, but they can coexist here," she explained, "Plus, unlike our other animals, they're friendly towards strangers." "They are like birds," said Altaïr, trying to feed them. "Because birds are dinosaurs! Even though Microraptors and Archaeopteryxes are non-avian dinosaurs, yet they share with birds the same ancestors." "Don't say…" "You know, we have two separate aviaries because when it's mating season, sometimes we have to separate the males and females from each other." "May I ask why?" Altaïr asked intently.
"Because they would overpopulate here," Tami continued to explain, "Fortunately, the babies that hatch here, Elphina trains them to be feral and then releases them into the wild in the parts of Havaykia where they're native." "And why don't you release them here?" "Microraptors and Archaeopteryxes are not native to the Cheetah's Valley and additionally wouldn't survive in winter here. Actually these little guys were rescued from an illegal exotic breeder who neglected them. Unfortunately they can't return to the wild because they are attached to people." "Oh goodness… Good that you take care of them."
After the little theropods had eaten, they flew back into the branches of the trees in the aviary. "Oh, so all the dinosaurs were here with you," echoed Elphina, who was cleaning the aviary. "Hey, Elphi!" Tami greeted her. Altaïr just waved at her, Elphina frowned a little at him. "Tami, are you doing a tour of our ranch to your boyfriend right now?" the night elf asked, crossing her arms and softening her gaze.
"That's right!" Tami nodded her head, "And so far he likes it here! Right, Alty?" He nodded his head in agreement. "Alty, huh?" smirked Elphina, as her sister called him, "Do you like any animals?" He nodded his head in agreement. "Alty, huh?" Elphina smirked at what her sister called him, "Do you like any animals?" "I do, ma'am," the assassin answered, "I even own a female golden eagle-" "A golden eagle!?" Elphina gasped, her grumpiness was replaced with delight, "What's her name?" "Caukasa. When I used to live at the Island of Eagle, I found her injured, so I treated her," Altaïr narrated more confidently, "And when she recovered, I released her back into the wild, but Caukasa wouldn't stop following me, so I tamed her."
"Awww! You're a natural falconer! I have a female white falcon named Keeya! I'll admit I didn't have a good feeling about you at first since you're an assassin, but I guess I was wrong!" Elphina smiled. "I don't blame you for that. I understand," Altaïr said. Tami was glad that her oldest sister was starting to respect her boyfriend. "Great! Okay, Alty! Let's go to the veterinary now!" "The veterinary?" Tami grabbed Altaïr's hand again and headed out of the aviary with him. They said goodbye to Elphina and the little theropods. The pair made their way to the building, which was connected to a high fence of a huge enclosure. They went inside and saw several cages with injured and abandoned animals.
"Oh! Put on a mask for sure!" Tami instructed, handing it to him. "A mask?" Altaïr wondered, probably not knowing exactly what it was. Tami showed him how to put it on. "That way either we don't infect the animals here or we don't catch some nasty disease from them." "If you say so, habibti." He listened to her and put the mask over his mouth, but he didn't know how properly to adjust it.
"Put the strings behind your ears," Tami advised with a chuckle. "I know what I'm doing… Ah! See? I did it!" "Okay, congratulations." Altaïr rolled his eyes playfully at her comment. "It's only more difficult to breathe in." "You'll get used to it, drahý." Then they viewed the animals together. They had to be quiet to avoid stressing them. Some of the cages were covered with blankets, which made the little creatures calmer.
"So many of them are here," murmured Altaïr. "Yes, we're not just a ranch, we're also a rescue center," Tami answered lowly, "Injured, sick and abandoned animals come to us here, we treat them and then release them. True, we are supposed to leave it to nature, but most of the time these animals unfortunately get injured or lose their parents to poachers and illegal breeders or the natural elements. In addition, some species are so rare that we have to come to their aid."
"Are poachers the biggest problem in you country? If I'm not misremembering, I've heard that parts from exotic animals are worthless in Havaykia." "Yes, but they are at a high price outside of Havaykia, especially in Cross Island, the Mann Islands and parts of Azerwias." "Horrible…" "But fortunately, there are rangers patrolling all over the island and the other nearby smaller islands fighting them."
Suddenly the door from the surgery opened and out stepped Talidea holding a young male Thylacine, followed by Emma. They both put the medium sized marsupial into the cage and covered it with a blanket so it wouldn't get stressed.
"Well done, Emma!" Dea complimented her, "You're getting better with the medical inspection on the wild animals! I was a little worried Benjo was gonna bite you." "Thanks, sister! Since I need practice for my class-" She didn't finish her sentence when she saw the couple behind Talidea.
"Oh! Hi, Tami! And Altaïr…" "Hi, Emma! Hello again, Dea!" Tami greeted them happily. Altaïr just waved them back. "Oh, we're seeing each other once again," Talidea chuckled, while Emma stared at Altaïr uncertainly. "I'm showing Alty how you two work and Dea, you're so fast already being here."
"We started just a moment ago," the night elf said, "Emma and I checked out this Thylacine named Benjo who was the pet of some human lady. She couldn't take good care of him, so she brought him to us yesterday." "The problem is that Benjo is attached to people, which is not good," Emma joined in the conversation, "Luckily he's still young, so there will be a chance he'll be wild. And if he doesn't, that's okay! So at least he could be an ambassador of Marsupial Isle."
"You love to help animals, I see," Altaïr said. "Yeah, we're trying to help them to survive…" Emma crossed her arms. "Well… I rescued my eagle, Caukasa, but once I find a wounded or abandoned pigeon or dove, I'll take care of them and then release them." "Really?" Emma inquired in surprise, touched, Talidea raising an eyebrow as well.
"Awww, Alty! That's so sweet of you!" Tami was touched and embraced him warmly. "Oh, wow! I wasn't expecting this," Emma scratched the back of her neck, "I feel a little awkward. Now I can see why Tami adores you so much. After all, she keeps saying a lot of kind things about you. Hopefully you'll keep it up."
"I'll do my best," Altaïr nodded with a relaxed smile. "Tami, good for you, sis," Emma grinned at her, "I hope you two will have a wonderful relationship." "Thanks, Emma!" Tami dashed over to her and they hugged. "I hope you and Southy are doing well together too." "Indeed we are. I'll admit we're still working a bit on improving, but we're doing well."
Then Talidea coughed falsely, "I don't like to interrupt, but we need to continue, Emma. We have a lot of work to do today." "Roger that, Dea!" Emma saluted playfully, preparing for the next inspection. "Okay, we will go," Tami announced, grasping Altaïr's hand again.
"Hey, Tami! Try to show Altaïr through the lookout at Hadrosaur's Enclosure! I'm pretty sure he's never seen a truly giant dinosaur with his own eyes!" Talidea playfully pointed a finger at Altaïr, who rolled his eyes sarcastically. "Excellent idea, Dea!" Tami cheered, "Thank you! Bye!" "Bye, Tami and Altaïr!" Emma beamed at them already cheerfully. "See you at lunch! Have fun!" Talidea waved, and the couple walked out of the veterinary building while taking off their masks.
"It shows that your sisters have a lot to do when they have to nurse each animal," Altaïr voiced worriedly. "Oh, don't worry about them, dear," Tami flapped her hand, "We have volunteers and vet students visiting here. Besides, Emma is studying zoology in university, so she must have at least some basic practice when handling any wild animal. Anyway, let's go to that lookout tower!"
Tami excitedly dragged her boyfriend to the lookout tower, which was almost 10 meters high. "Tami! Slow down!" Altaïr shouted softly, "You don't have to drag me everywhere by the hand. I will always follow you." "Sorry, I just can't wait to show you all this," Tami smiled shyly. "I know damn well," he smirked.
The couple reached the top of the lookout tower and saw a huge pasture in front of them, where several animals of other dinosaur species were grazing. In the center of the enclosure was a circle of small forest, with three shelters around it, so that the animals could hide from the bad weather. The entire ranch was surrounded by a forest that blended the colors of the yellow-green savanna and the purple of the enchanted forest.
"Woah…" Altaïr held his breath, "I didn't expect you to have it this huge." "When you're taking care of large dinosaurs, you have to have a huge enclosure." They both leaned against the rail, shortly Altaïr snuggled closer to Tami, rested his head on her shoulder and kissed her on the red cheek. Then they watched the magnificence. The trumpeting from the hadrosaurs could be heard more than a kilometer away.
"I wonder: how do you sleep when those dinosaurs with crests are rumbling all the time?" Altaïr asked. "Well… Our house is soundproof," Tami explained, flipping a lock of hair behind her ear, "It's not quite perfect, but at least you can get some sleep. Also, my older sisters and brothers-in-law have been training them to trumpet more quietly. If there's a danger, they'll make so-called 'bad noise', which can damage your hearing. Fortunately, this rarely happens. They are safe here."
"Will you tell me what kind of dinosaurs you got there, huh?" he whispered against her ear, both passionately and curiously. "Alright, there they are…" she pointed her finger gradually, "Parasaurolophuses… Corythosaurs… Lambeosaurs… Tsintaosaurs… Olorotitans… The smaller ones over there are the Dryosaurs and the smallest ones we have are the Leaellynasauras, but they can only be seen here through binoculars."
Altaïr tried the binoculars and saw the prehistoric animals more clearly. "True, habibti. They look wonderful..." he was stunned. "All the hadrosaurs and dryosaurs are rescued here, and the Leaellynasaurs actually moved here naturally since they found refuge here," Tami said. "Oh, hold on, habibti! You have a lake over there?" "Yes! We call it Lily Lake! We like to go there to fish and swim!"
As Altaïr observed, his gaze locked on one large Parasaurolophus that had been separated from the herd. "Hey, Tami? Who's that lone dinosaur over there?" He pointed his finger at the enclosure that was connected to the veterinary building. "This is Monarch, or is he nicknamed The Bull," Tami spoke in a serious tone, "He came to us two months ago, supposedly he once belonged to the Queen." "Queen? And why he is here?" "Monarch has a bad temper and attacked almost anyone who moved. It was frightening to transfer him here. Elphina said such aggressive animals are usually put down, but Talidea hopes we can calm him down."
Tami glanced at the other hadrosaurs and continued: "You know, a lot of people underestimate herbivores, especially hadrosaurs. They think that they are harmless due to the lack of horns and spikes and are usually easy prey for predators."
"Tch, those people have probably never seen at least a horse in person," Altaïr frowned, "I saw with my own eyes how some fool beat his horse and the horse kicked him hard into the jaw. It was a nasty injury, and if I'm not mistaken, a few days later the man succumbed through infection." "Yikes…" "And I wouldn't mess with anything what your family has here." "Yeah… Okay, you wanna move on, drahý?" "Of course. Let's go."
They both went down from the lookout tower and continued on with the tour. "On our left there's this Recovering Enclosure," Tami talked, "'There we release animals, something like soft-releasing, to prove to us that they are capable of surviving in nature. There's nothing there now so let's move on."
As they walked, they met a warden guarding at a crossroad. Beside her sat a large dark nightsaber.
"Hi, Maiev!" Tami waved at her. "Greetings, Tami... and assassin," she greeted in a cold voice, but softened as she spoke to Tami. "I heard you're giving your boyfriend a tour here." "Exactly! So far, Altaïr is enjoying it here!" Altaïr nodded, except he felt unsafe with the big saber-toothed cat staring at him like prey and growling a bit. Yet he bowed slightly to the older night elf warden.
"Safety and peace, mistress…" "Shadowsong…" Maiev responded coldly, "I see you are carrying weapons constantly. Always alert, right?" "I need to be. If anything, my knives and blades will take care of it," Altaïr answered with pride, but still cautiously noticing that the warden was better armed than he was.
"Impressive," Maiev said while scratching her chin, "You also have a love for blades? Will you show them to me?" "With pleasure, ma'am." Altaïr drew his dagger first and Maiev curiously inspected it. "Hm… Pretty sharp. Most human daggers from Azeroth aren't quite as elegant as this one."
"Thank you. Here is one of my throwing knives," Altaïr picked up one from the sheath on his right shoulder, "They're also sharp, light and with one throw can kill instantly if it hits a critical place on the body."
Maiev nodded her head intrigued, "Nice, except I can throw multiple knives at once while turning," Maiev praised, holding over her armed chest. "Oh, very well then... And what do you say to this?" Altaïr's hidden blade popped out and he performed it in front of the warden.
"Now that's an interesting blade," Maiev was impressed, "I wonder why no Rogue from Azeroth thought of that. I like it. You know what, you have my respect. But always be aware…" Maiev warned him, but he gave her a respectful nod.
"We'd better go," Tami whispered to him and they were ready to move on. "And one more thing before you go," Maiev paused them, "Protect Tami if you really love her so much as she worships you that much." "Count on it, Mrs. Shadowsong." And the couple continued with the tour. "That assassin is our ally after all, Dawnmist," Maiev petted her nightsaber, "You don't have to growl at him anymore."
Tami and Altaïr headed towards Cerato's paddock. Once more they met Lennon and Clara, who were feeding Cerato with chunks of meat. "Hello, hello, you two! We are seeing again!" Lennon waved to them. "Are you enjoying here, Altaïr?" Clara asked him with toothy smile.
"It's going fine," he answered, placing his left hand on Tami's waist and gently pressing her against him. "Tami is an excellent guide." "Alty…" Tami blushed shyly.
"Ah! You two are as cute as Lennon and I were when we fell in love!" Clara pressed her cheeks slightly from fangirling. Cerato, behind the enclosure fence, noticed again at Altaïr, who had frozen out of her. She let out a throaty coo that sounded like the mixed noises of a crocodile and a cassowary. But it didn't sound like a sign of aggression, it was more like a greeting and then she went to drink from the trough.
"I'm not going to lie: I'm impressed that you were able to tame Ceratosaurus," Altaïr complimented the Scout couple. "Almost," Lennon reminded. "But see? At least Cerato tolerates you after all!" Clara gave him a thumbs up. "Yeah, yeah..." nodded Altaïr his head, "Let's keep moving, habibti." "All righty, Alty!" Tami grinned, "See you later, Basecks!" They said goodbye to the Scouts and continued on with the tour.
They walked into a large garden that looked more like a wooden greenhouse. Various fruits and vegetables were grown here. "You grow all this for animals?" Altaïr began to speak. "Yeah and for us too. You know, it's cheaper when you grow your own food at home." "True, true..."
In front of them they saw the young night elves: Tarion, Tanisa, and Relante, who were now taking care of the garden. Tarion was the first to notice the newcomers.
"Hey, Tami! And greetings, Mr. Altaïr," the shy druid greeted them. "Hi, Tami! Ishnu-dal-dieb, Mr. Altaïr!" Tanisa and Relante simultaneously greeted them happily. "Hi, guys!" Tami waved, and they walked up to them. "Safety and peace to you three. You don't have to call me mister," Altaïr said, "My name is enough."
"We've heard a lot of good things about you from Tami," Relante said. "And of course we are fans too! We love your game!" Tanisa added. "What a game…?" wondered Altaïr, but immediately remembered, "Oh! You actually mean the one where I'm in the computer, right?" The two night elves nodded their heads enthusiastically.
"So, Tarion? How's the druidism going?" Tami asked him. "I'm working on it, auntie Tami," the young druid beamed, "It's not perfect, but my teacher praised me that I'm doing better than other druids at my age." "Will you show us some spell, please?" Tami begged him.
He gladly agreed, stood in front of one bush and began to cast a spell. Around his hands, shimmering green glows appeared to surround the bush and blueberries began to grow. "Oh… My… Allah…" Altaïr couldn't believe his eyes, "Now this is a sorcery!" "Thank you very much," Tarion bowed shyly.
Tanisa and Relante tried to taste the berries, nevertheless it was obvious by their faces that something was wrong. "Big bro, I hate to ruin your joy, but those blueberries aren't ripe yet," Tanisa told in disgust, spitting the berry out of her mouth.
"Aw man…" sighed Tarion disappointedly, "Nevertheless, my teacher said it was at least some progress." "Don't worry, cousin. You started druidism a year ago. Doesn't mean you'll immediately become the best," Relante reminded softly, "But you've got a lot of years to learn. After all, the best druids were probably thousands of years old when they conquered druidism."
"Thousands of years?" Altaïr was surprised. "Night elves used to be immortal in Azeroth, but then they sacrificed that to save the planet from the Burning Legion," Tami explained, "Even if they have become mortal, they can still live to be over a thousand years old."
"Hey! For giggles, guess how old Maiev is!" Tanisa challenged Altaïr. "Erm… 1550?" he guessed unsurely. "Over 10, 000 years!" Relante answered, "And she's also my grandmother!" The two night elf girls giggled. "Unbelievable..." Altaïr was stunned. "Actually, Maiev is the only one who is over a thousand years old," Tami added, "Taino, Talar and Elphina are over 300 years old and Talidea is 49 years old." "Exactly! Tarion is 20 years old. And Relante and I are the youngest here, 17!" Tanisa smiled.
"I hate to interrupt, but we promised my mom that we'd check the crops to see if there happened to be weeds growing in some of them so we could remove them," Relante said worriedly.
"Sure, cousin! Let's keep working!" Tanisa bounced with excitement, "The sooner we finish, the sooner your mom starts making lunch!" "Isn't it rather the slower you go, so Aunt Elphina starts cooking, little sis?" Tarion crooked his eyebrows, "And if I'm remember correctly, Cleanth and Jarrod are cooking now." "Whatever!" Tanisa laughed.
Tami and Altaïr decided to continue on with the tour. They said they would see them later and walked out of the garden. Nearby of them stood a smaller building made of wood. "That's where we have a warehouse," Tami spoke, "That's where we store stuff like crops, meat, and other food." "I get it," Altaïr rolled his eyes, "We can skip this one. I doubt there's anything interesting-"
Suddenly, they heard a screeching, but it wasn't dinosaur-like. Altaïr stepped in front of Tami, ready to defend his beloved. They spotted two Hunters running away from the warehouse and leaped on a high fence. They were being chased by two other Hunters, this time Southy and Northy. Tarion, Tanisa and Relante peeked out to see what was going on.
"Get out right now and don't you dare return!" Southy screamed furiously. "And you don't want us to call for backup!" Northy yelled. "Fuck you!" Hunter, in a light blue hoodie, cursed. "Let's go, little bro. Let's get out of here," growled the other Hunter with the torn dark blue hoodie, and they both jumped away.
"Assholes," Northy growled. "Is everything all right?" Maiev echoed, running over when she heard the screeching of the intruders. "Everything is all right!" Southy exclaimed. Maiev nodded and went back to her business. The three younger elves returned to work in the garden too.
In a moment the two brothers registered the couple. "Oh! Ey!" Southy greeted first. "Servus, Tami! And the famous Altaïr!" Northy cheered. Altaïr was still in a defensive stance. "Altaïr, don't worry. Southy and Northy are friends," Tami soothed him and waved at them back.
"That's true! The Great Assassin, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, is here among us! In Havaykia, in Gepardia, in TaE Family Ranch!" Southy rejoiced. "We're your fans too!" Northy delighted.
"Aren't you Hunters like those two you drove off? Apparently they are dangerous to the residents of Cheetah's Valley," Altaïr scowled. "We're Hunters-mutants, not Hunters-infected like the two idiots who tried to steal our supplies," Northy explained. "What's the difference?" "We were born this way. They used to be humans, then got infected with the Green Flu virus and became cannibalistic monsters," Southy added.
Altaïr was a bit horrified. A virus that deforms people? "And is that virus still around?" "Especially in Fouria, but don't worry, everyone in Havaykia is vaccinated against it and it hasn't spread any further," Northy said. "I actually got some kind of needle into my body when my brotherhood arrived in Gepardia," Altaïr stated.
"It's called an injection and it means you're safe," Tami comforted him. "One more question for you, Southy. Supposedly you're in a relationship with Emma, right?" Altaïr questioned him. "Ah, Emma! The best woman on the whole planet," sighed Southy happily putting his hand on his heart. His younger brother stuck out his tongue annoyedly but in a playful manner. "Actually, what about her? Is there something wrong with her?" he worried about his girlfriend.
"It's okay, Southy," Tami reassured him, "Just Altaïr can't believe that you and Emma are dating, but he has no problem with that, right?" she looked at her boyfriend, who nodded his head. "Okay, Hunters," she continued, "I still want to show Alty the rest of the ranch and inside the home."
"Of course!" "Have fun! And Altaïr, next time show us the parkour tricks." Altaïr nodded playfully at the brothers again. He started to like them, even though they are mutants. Surprisingly so far, he actually liked or at least tolerated every member of Tami's family. Yet in the brotherhood he felt repulsion at some. He felt like he was out of his character. Despite that, it was a good feeling…
"So now where are we going, love?" Altaïr looked at Tami with a warm smile. "Let's go to the stable! You'll see our dinosaurs closer!" "Closer?" Altaïr froze in fright and let himself be dragged by his beloved into the large stable.
Inside there was the chirping of house martins and swallows nesting high up on the stable walls. In front of them, Leaellynasauras roamed, pecking at the hay and seeds on the floor. The couple spotted four sleek theropod dinosaurs in a stall box, watching them with their large orange eyes.
"What are those?" Altaïr asked, pointing a finger at them. "These are Coelophysises, Triassic theropods," Tami answered, "They came to us five days ago. Someone dumped them on the streets in Gepardia and they were stealing food from restaurants. They're definitely domesticated since they're not scared of humans, and luckily they're friendly."
"If they're friendly, why leave them out and abandon them?" Altaïr frowned. "Some people adopt an exotic animal that flexes with them or due to their cuteness," Tami considered, "But when they grow up, there are complications. These people don't know exactly what to do, so they dump the animal somewhere and leave."
"Disgusting. I've seen in my time where so many people dump their dogs or cats and leave them to die… It makes me furious." "I absolutely hate these kind of people. Irresponsible morons… But these little guys were lucky they got to us. Hard to say what could have gone wrong for them if we hadn't arrived to their aid in time…"
"Hello there, lovebirds!" suddenly greeted Talar, who was currently using his pitchfork to put hay into the feeders for the herbivorous dinosaurs. With him were two other Hunters, Hoody Boy and Ryland, who waved to them.
"Hey, fellas!" Tami greeted back with a big grin, Altaïr only waved. "How are you?" Ryland asked amusedly, "Great! Altaïr really loves it here!" Tami replied cheerfully. " We love to hear this! You already seem to be one of us here, Altaïr!" Hoody Boy gloated, hugging Altaïr and Tami at the same time.
"Don't… Touch… Me…" growled Altaïr grimly. Hoody Boy stepped away from him to be safe, "Whoops, apologies for violating your personal space, man," he apologized with a nervous smile, "I'm just happy to meet someone new. You know, most people are rather run away from me or try to kill me."
Altaïr didn't expect this line from Hoody Boy. "Oh… I mean, there was nothing to apologize. I don't like when anyone touches me… Except for Tami, obviously." Altaïr softened his tone and caressed his beloved's cheek, "By the way, aren't you Southy and Northy's brother? You mostly look like Northy."
"Correct. We're triplets, I'm the youngest in fact. You've met them, huh?" Hoody Boy grinned mischievously, "We used to live in Infected's Refuge, specifically one pack of my kind, but I was a weakling to them, and was later banished for saving a human woman and her child from my packmate from killing them. My brothers missed me, so they followed me here."
"But at least our paths have been found!" Ryland smirked embracing Hoody and they both began to purr contentedly. "Those two are… together?" Altaïr murmured into Tami's ear. "Yes. I hope you're not judging them."
"Absolutely not! Good for them!" Tami hugged him with joy and he returned the hug. His face was all red under the hood, which made Talar and Hunter couple laugh. "You two are made for each other!" Talar chuckled, "By the way, Tami. Do you want to introduce Beaky and Kamari to Altaïr?" She got excited. "Oh, yes!" "Who are Beaky and Kamari?" Altaïr arched an eyebrow. "You'll see!"
Ryland went to open one stall box and out ran a cheetah that had stripes instead of dots. When he saw Tami, he started chirping joyously and rubbed up against her and purred. "Hey, big boy! Glad to see you!" Tami petted him. Altaïr had never seen a cheetah that close and watched it in astonishment. He wanted to pet him, except Kamari hissed at him and he pulled his hand away.
"Oh! Kamari doesn't get along much with strangers," Tami said, "But don't worry, drahý. Let him sniff your hand and then he'll be alright with you." Altaïr tried to put his hand in front of Kamari's muzzle and the cheetah sniffed him. Kamari calmed down and licked his fingers. "Hey, hello," Altaïr chuckled.
"Wow! He instantly likes you!" Hoody Boy marveled. "I've never seen a cheetah as a large house kitten. Right, big guy? Who is good boy?" Altaïr jested, scratching Kamari's cheeks, making him purr more.
"Okay, now meet Beaky!" Tami rejoiced and started calling her: "Beaaaakkkky~! Come here, girl~!" Suddenly, a Parasaurolophus with yellow coloring and black stripes down its body entered the stable. She was smaller than other individuals of her kind, probably she was still sub-adult. Altaïr got spooked and hid behind Tami's back. Kamari better ran away from the dinosaur, hopped onto the hay bale and watched them from a safe distance.
Tami, Talar and Hunter couple petted Beaky's head. "Don't worry, Altaïr!" Talar laughed, "Beaky is a herbivore! She won't eat you!" "But herbivores can be more aggressive than carnivores," Altaïr pointed out. "Yeah, but Beaky is really tame, drahý. She's actually our first dinosaur on the ranch! Come on, pet her!" Tami encouraged him. Altaïr carefully reached out and ran his hand over her head down to her beak. This time he didn't feel as confident as he did while petting Kamari, luckily Beaky let herself be petted and patiently stayed still.
"What do you say about Beaky, buddy?" Hoody Boy asked. "Isn't Beaky sweet?" Ryland chimed in. "Well… I'll get used to her," answered Altaïr. Then Beaky turned away and went back outside to her herd. "See, Alty? That wasn't that bad," she smiled at him and took his hand, "Now let's go to the workshop and finally to my house!" "Sounds good to me," Altaïr agreed. "Enjoy yourselves!" Hoody Boy wished them and the couple waved goodbye to Talar, the Hunter pair and the animals.
As the couple exited the stables, they met Takuya and Gavin ahead of them, carrying fishing rods and equipment. "Hey, Tami and Altaïr!" Takuya greeted them as the first. "Hey, guys! Wanna go fishing with us?" Gavin offered.
"What do you say, Altaïr?" Tami asked him. "We could, but I'd like to take a good look inside," the assassin answered, "Besides, I would want to get some rest. But first we'll go see the workshop."
"Okay! Taino went there a moment ago. He's our handyman! Maybe he'll craft something for you!" Takuya joked. Gavin rolled his eyes at his brother's comment, but immediately smiled at the couple, "Well, at least we hope you're enjoying your stay at our house, Altaïr!"
"Thank you," Altaïr politely thanked him. "Thanks, guys! Enjoy your fishing!" Tami wished them and they went on their separate ways. Tami and Altaïr opened the door of the workshop, where Taino was currently working on repairing a small cage.
He looked behind himself as he heard their arrival. "Hello, Tami," he smiled at his sister-in-law, "…and Altaïr…" soon his gaze went cold as he saw the assassin. "Hey, Taino!" Tami greeted him, "I wanted to show Alty our workshop. What are you doing?"
"I'm repairing this cage, since there was a Velociraptor in it recently that surprisingly managed to break through the door and broke the lock." "Try to add more locks next time," Altaïr advised. "I wasn't talking to you, young man," Taino crossed his arms.
Altaïr sensed that the older night elf had something against him, but he tried to be polite so as not to disappoint his beloved. "I only wanted to give you advice," the assassin crossed his arms as well. "I know what I'm doing, assassin…" "I can see it, night elf…" They looked into each other's eyes sternly and coldly. Although Taino was more than two meters tall, Altaïr wasn't intimidated by him, killing enemies taller than him.
Tension started to rise in the workshop… "Guys, guys! We don't need to argue, please!" Tami was trying to calm the situation down. "Listen, sir." Altaïr began to speak genuinely from the heart, "I know you're concerned that I'm an assassin and I seem threatening, but you need to trust me: I truly love Tami. I want to- I mean, I swear I'm going to protect her and make her the happiest woman in the world. I know you are worried that because of me the Templars will show up here and threaten you and your family and friends. Thankfully, my Brotherhood protects all innocent people and if the Templars would attack you, we will help."
Taino was surprised at his words. He realized that Altaïr actually almost resembled himself in his youth. "Alright, alright…" he eventually sighed, "You hit precisely what I was concerned about, but I don't think the TaE Family is defenseless. A bunch of us were fighters, we just want to live a peaceful life, but if those Templars were up to anything wicked, we'd fight back for our freedom and peace."
"That's the spirit!" Altaïr grinned, "I like that!" Taino snickered, "You know what? I was wrong about you, Altaïr. Maybe you're actually as legendarily amazing an assassin as Tami always told me about you. But keep your guard up… If you hurt her…" From Taino's hand, frosty snowflakes emerged, representing a frost spell, "…my wife and I will freeze you to the bone and crush you into teeny tiny pieces."
Altaïr froze and gulped from fear. "Taino! Don't threaten him!" Tami snapped at him. Taino laughed and patted her head, "I'm kidding, don't worry! I just hope he will take good care of you."
Altaïr took courage once more and smiled proudly, "You can count on me, sir!" Taino nodded, the two finally finding some respect between them. "Great, you're cool now! I'm so glad!" Tami enthused, "So, Taino, I'm going to go show Alty our house!"
"Okay! Have fun, kids!" Warmly saying their goodbyes, the couple walked out of the workshop and finally entered the large wooden house. Altaïr whistled from amazement, "I didn't expect you to have such a huge interior of the house as well."
"With 20 people living here, it has to be," Tami giggled. They were standing in a large hallway, they heard voices from the kitchen to their right. They went to where Cleanth and Jarrod were currently cooking lunch.
"Hey, guys!" Tami greeted them. "Bonjour, Tami and Altaïr!" Cleanth waved at them. "Oh, hi," Jarrod spoke up without looking up as he was focused on cooking. "We heard you had a tour of our ranch. Do you like it here, Altaïr?" Cleanth asked him smilingly.
"You have it almost like paradise here," Altaïr nodded, but wondered at Cleanth's appearance. "Cleanth, I notice that you are extremely pale. Pale as snow. Do you have some sort of skin disease?" Altaïr asked worriedly. "Ah! Don't worry, I'm not sick!" Cleanth laughed, "In fact I'm not a human, but a Purifier! I am from the Pure Kingdom, more specifically from the city of Secretairios."
"Purifier? Hmm... I've heard something about your kind, but apparently they never leave their island," Altaïr pointed out. "The only Purifiers who are outside the island are those who were banished due to the curse," Cleanth explained more seriously.
"What curse?" "The curse of the red eyes." "What? For this? This is ridiculous! What were they thinking!?" Altaïr boiled with fury. "It's just… The curse is meant for something completely different than eye color…" "Stop hiding and speak sense!" Cleanth held up his hands and kept his distance from Altaïr, who was being consoled by Tami's nuzzling on his arm.
"Chill, chill! I'll tell you right now! Jeez… I can transform into a dinosaur monster that can't control itself properly. Happy with the answer?" Altaïr lifted his eyebrows, "A dinosaur monster?" "Exactly." "And it's not because of-" Jarrod was about to say something, but Cleanth silenced him.
"Because of what?" Altaïr wondered. "You don't have to deal with it. After all, it was in the past," Cleanth smiled gloomily, "Tami, show him our house while Jarrod and I finish lunch. Afterwards, we'll call you."
"Okay, Cleanth. See you guys later!" Tami held Altaïr's hand and showed him around the house: the living room, the dining room, the bathrooms, the hobby room, and then they headed upstairs to the upper floor where the bedrooms were. On the way, Altaïr noticed a gecko climbing the wall. "Tami, there's some lizard over there," he pointed at the small reptile curiously.
"Ah, it's a Mediterranean house gecko. They live freely in our house," Tami muttered, "They catch insects and stabilize the spider population." "Oh, right. Now I remember I rarely saw similar lizards in my former universe." They watched the gecko for a moment and then moved into the hallway.
"Tami?" He stopped her. "Yes, drahý?" "You know what, we don't have to go into every room. I wouldn't want to stick my nose into the privacy of your family and friends. I'm most interested in how your room looks like." "Sure. Come on."
The couple headed for the end of the hallway. Tami opened the last door on the left and the two walked in. Tami's room was small. The bed with a couple of plushies was in the right hand corner of the room and next to it was a nightstand and a window. There was also a closet and dresser next to the door, a large shelf with figurines, video games and books about dinosaurs and animals, and a desk with a laptop, writing equipment and an office chair. Paintings of either cheetahs, dinosaurs, and pictures of her family from the old days were hung along the light green walls.
"Damn, girl, you live like this?" Altaïr smirked teasingly, "Better than my room." "You don't say," Tami chuckled, "By the way, do you want to take your weapons off? You don't have to wear them all the time." "True, habibti," Altaïr smiled sweetly, putting down his sword, dagger, knives and gloves. He even put his hood down.
"Where can I put these?" "You can put them on that dresser over there," she told him, and he put his weapons and gloves on it. He looked around the room. The first thing he noticed was the Assassin's Creed 1 video game on the shelf. "Is that me?" he asked in surprise, picking it up to take a closer look.
"Yes! That's that video game I mentioned to you a couple of times!" Tami cheerfully replied to him. "I look a little bit different there… Where are my freckles?" "That would be because you're a different Altaïr, like from an another universe." "That makes sense, but I don't look bad. What else have you got, sweetheart?"
Tami gasped in excitement as her boyfriend was fascinated over her collection of him. "Oh! I has a figurine of you, a book about you, posters, cards, fanarts! I even have a plushie of you!" She pointed out to him what all she had. "You really weren't lying about being my biggest fan," Altaïr joked. "Want to see how you look in the game?" Tami offered.
"Can you show it to me later, please, habibti? I'd like to chat with you further." Altaïr caressed her cheek again, lifting her chin up with his fingers. Tami blushed again at his tender gestures. They stared into each other's eyes, their faces getting closer together, they closed their eyes and finally kissed each other on the lips. The kiss was passionate and affectionate. Neither of them wanted to let go of the other. They were making out until they needed to breathe. They leaned their foreheads against each other's and continued to stare into each other's eyes affectionately.
"Do you want to sit on the bed?" Tami whispered into his ear. "Of course." They both sat on Tami's bed, slipped off their shoes and cuddled. "Even your bed is softer than mine in the hideout," Altaïr beamed. "Alty, you don't have to lie, please." Tami gently nudged him playfully with her shoulder.
"Why would I ever lie to you?" Altaïr scoffed, but became serious. "Tami? May I ask something personal about you?" "You're always allowed to ask me anything, drahý. What's on your mind?" She looked into his golden eyes. Altaïr found her brown eyes hypnotic, he couldn't help but smile warmly.
"Why are you being so hard on yourself? Like, you keep underestimating and blaming yourself." Tami's smile disappeared from her face and she looked elsewhere around the room. "Tami?" Altaïr addressed her worriedly. "It's a long story…" she responded evasively. "I don't mind, love. Feel free to shorten it if you can. I'll listen to you all day." Tami let out a heavy sigh and gave him another somber stare.
"Truth be told, drahý… My family and I are outsiders. People don't like us that much." "What? How? I don't understand why they don't like your family while you are helping animals!" "It's better today, but it used to be tougher…" "Why?"
Soon Tami started to tell her story: "You know, for instance, Taino and Talidea are not regular night elves. They are death knights, they used to serve under the Lich King's reign from Azeroth. Society sees death knights as undead heartless monsters that only bring death, but Taino and Dea are completely different. Because of their love, their bodies weren't rotting and they even managed to have Tarion and Tanisa together. But they just couldn't change the public's mind."
Altair kept listening intently and had no intention of stopping her. "Next Maiev didn't have a good reputation in the past," Tami continued, "Supposedly her other self did horrible things like killing innocent Highbornes, which our Maiev never actually committed. Elphina is her biological daughter, so people think she's just as bad as her mom, which is also not true. Talar also didn't avoid being rejected, as he is the husband of the warden's daughter and the younger brother of the death knight. Our Hunters: Southy, Northy, Hoody Boy and Ryland have never seen humans as prey. In fact, they felt more like humans, and because of that, their kind disowned them. That's why they have found a new home and 'pack' here. Cleanth was once a prince, but due to his eyes and a curse, his parents rejected him and he was raised by the cleaners. Years later, he was banished. Jarrod, Lennon and Clara never wanted to become mercenaries. They were forced to join. Their loved ones were murdered. Jarrod's father and ex-girlfriend were his abusers and manipulators. Clara's uncle murdered innocent civilians on orders from his enemies as well. Lennon and Clara fell in love with each other even though they were in opposing factions and had to escape for it. Jarrod ran away with them since they were the only true family for him. Later Cleanth met them and joined them despite him being a Purifier. Then they sailed together to Havaykia and since no one else would take them under their wing, they joined us where they found a new home. Far away from wars and violence... You see, we are actually a small community… A found family…"
"And you don't know what happened to your parents?" Altaïr whispered after a minute of silence. "I never knew them. The nannies found me outside the orphanage as an infant, alone…" Altaïr felt sorry for her and her family and friends. "This is not fair," he frowned, "And that apparently Havaykia is a place where discrimination is forbidden."
"Unfortunately that's not true for most places and people," Tami continued seriously, "My siblings, nephew and I had the hardest time in elementary school, because once upon a time when a night elf adopted a human child, they were both judged by society." "That makes no sense whatsoever! Why?" Altaïr argued furiously, but he calmed himself to avoid frightening Tami and let her keep talking.
"Because that's not how it used to be… Can you imagine when a night elf family adopts four human children…" "You were bullied by the other children," Altaïr finished her sentence. "Not only the children, but also the adults, especially the teachers," Tami added, "Almost nobody wanted to be friends with us, they only insulted and mocked us."
"Wait, you said almost nobody," Altaïr noted. Tami made a small sad smile, "Naya and the Palins siblings, Tilly and Ezekiel, befriended us since they found us fascinating." "And they weren't outcast by society for this, too?" "Yeah, but they didn't mind. We actually formed a little group, which was kind of against the whole world." "How did Relante and Tanisa handle it, since they're a couple years younger than you?" "They were lucky to get into a good class in elementary. To be safe, we didn't meet them during school to keep their lives from falling apart because of us."
"But then why do you keep underestimating yourself?" Altaïr demanded, growing concerned, "Don't you remember exactly what happened?" Tami saddened once more, "I don't remember quite accurately. There were a lot of factors that brought my self-esteem down… But the worst I remember was in probably fifth grade in elementary, around the time I was ten or eleven. We had a grammar lesson, taught by a teacher who had something against me. Maybe for the fact that I wasn't the brightest student in her subject. We had to take a dictation test, in which I always got bad grades. I don't remember exactly why, but I told her that why should I do it, since I wasn't good at it and would probably never get better…"
Tami felt uncomfortable as she mentioned it, but continued: "The teacher got mad at me and told me I was a lost cause. That I don't know anything else and will never be able to adapt when I grow up…" In Tami's eyes, tears appeared, but she tried her best not to cry. Altaïr touched her hand and squeezed gently to comfort her.
"After this, I remained quiet and started to cry. I kept apologizing to her. After an hour, all my classmates made fun of me. Even though my siblings, nephew and friends were defending me, I never got over it. From then on, I preferred to be alone, avoiding anyone who wasn't from my family and friends. In my teenage years, I used to act rude and hostile, but after a while, I realized that it wasn't okay, it wasn't real me… That I was hurting my loved ones and myself in this way. Eventually I worked on myself and changed for the better, but I still prefer to take the blame on myself since I'm a lost cause…"
"No…" Altaïr shook his head and hugged her tightly. He was furious inside, but he kept it to himself. "That stupid woman should never say such things to any child. You're not a lost cause, Tami. You are a girl who wants to help others, explore nature, you can see beautiful things that no one else can see, and you are so much more than others think… I 'm really sorry what happened to you. After this incident, how did your family handle it?"
"Yes. I remember Elphina screaming at that teacher, how dare she say those awful words to a child. They were considering putting us in a different class or even a different school. But I was afraid that it would be the same everywhere, and besides, there is only one elementary school in Gepardia. I somehow made it through and got into high school. It was a hundred times better there, but my scars remained... And later after graduation I tried to go to university, but unfortunately I didn't finish the first semester because I was stressed for exams."
Altaïr consoled the sobbing Tami with an embrace and gently caressed her hair and back. "Truth be told, love," Altaïr cooed, "I realize how much the two of us have in common."
"What do you mean?" Tami wondered. "You know..." Altaïr started to tell his story this time, "I never knew my mother in person. She passed away shortly after I was born. My father often traveled on missions, we didn't spend a lot of time together. But whenever we had some time, he would tell me about his travels and adventures, and even tell me what my mother was like. He told me when I grew up, he would train me to become the best assassin and I would make the creed proud. Except at the age of eleven, my father sacrificed himself to the brotherhood and…" He paused and fell into sorrow as he thought of his late father.
"I know about this," Tami spoke in a quiet voice, "It was written in the book about you. A man slit his throat in front of you and your best friend became your rival for not wanting to accept the truth you told…" "Correct. It was Abbas and his father…" Altaïr replied while nodding his head, "When you told me about what your teacher did to you, it reminded me of my master, Al Mualim. I remember as a boy I used to play with Malik and Kadar around his office and make a mess. My master wanted to punish me by beating me, but my father stopped him and took me away. He scolded me, but he knew I was just a little boy. Only after my father died, I rarely escaped Al Mualim's fists and slaps."
Tami covered her mouth in horror. Nothing about this was ever written in the book. "Oh my Elune… Altaïr… I'm truly, truly sorry…" Tami wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him gently on his scar. "I didn't expect you to have it worse. No child would ever deserve to be beaten either." They cuddled in an embrace, lying down on the bed. Tami rested her head on Altaïr's chest and heard how his heart was pounding. She felt him gently caressing her curly hair and kissing her forehead.
"Alty?" Tami spoke up after several minutes. "Yes, habibti?" They locked eyes again. "I'm glad that I told you my story," Tami confessed to him with a shy smile, "And thank you for listening and understanding me. It's real relief." Altaïr returned a warm smile and cupped her face tenderly.
"I'm glad to help you, albi," he softly stated, "Actually, now I was wondering if I could give you something." Tami closed her eyes and waited for the surprise. Altaïr chuckled and pulled a gift from his pouch. "Open your eyes, habibti." She opened her eyes and saw a small stuffed dove in his hands. It was old and a little scruffy, but it was noticeable that it had been homemade. "Alty…" blushed Tami.
"This is a little dove my mother made for me before my birth and my father gave it to me," Altaïr smiled tenderly. Tami was surprised, "Alty, I… I can't take it," she shook her head, "We've been together for two days. This is the only thing you have left from your parents. Please keep it, drahý."
"Tami, habibti..." he addressed her affectionately, "We've known each other in person for half a year. Besides, you're the one person in this world my heart trusts the most." Altaïr placed the dove into her palms and cupped them lightly. "I'm just worried I'm going to break it or lose it," Tami whispered nervously. Altaïr kissed her on the lips to comfort his beloved. She returned his kiss and wrapped her arms around him. "I trust you to take good care of my parents' treasure, Tami. You don't need to worry. I won't be mad at you if anything happens to it since you're my the biggest treasure, alright?"
She nodded and snuggled into him. "Ľúbim ťa, Alty," she whispered to him in Slovak. "Was this in your native language?" Altaïr asked with a smirk. "Yeah. It means I love you." "Then... Ana bahebek kmaan, Tami," he whispered into her ear sweetly, gave her a peck on the cheek and they went back to nuzzling.
"Hey, Alty? Shall we go play Assassin's Creed 1?" Tami suggested after a while. "You can show me how you can play it." They both got off the bed, went over to the desk and Tami turned on her laptop. "Good, when it's switched on, I'll bring you a chair," Tami said, quickly leaving the room and returning a minute later with a chair, which she placed next to her office chair. They sat down and Tami turned on the game. Altaïr watched impassively as his girlfriend played the game of him.
The couple had a great time until Cleanth called them in for lunch and they were reunited with the whole family. Together they enjoyed the meal and the others got to know Altaïr even better. After lunch, Tami and Altaïr continued to play AC1 until the evening when Altaïr had to go. "Too bad you don't want to stay with us for the night," Tami sighed, but her smile never left.
"I would love to, but the duties of my brotherhood call," returned Altaïr, "But I will always visit you whenever I have time." "Really? That would be wonderful!" Tami embraced him, which made him chuckle. She escorted him to the gate and opened it.
Before that, Altaïr scooped her up in his arms and they kissed passionately on the lips. Then he caressed her cheek, "But if you want, you can come visit the bureau sometime and meet Malik," Altaïr whispered, "Or I'll take him with me next time here."
"Oh! I'd love to meet Malik one hundred percent!" Altaïr chuckled at her cheerful response, "Hey, Tami, listen…" he blushed and spoke softly while scratching his neck, "I'll be honest with you, at first I was unsure how your family would react towards me, but… Your family ended up being nice. I'm really glad you have people who have your back."
"Thanks. You're always welcome at the TaE Family's Ranch. Good night… habibti." Altaïr's pupils dilated as she addressed him in Arabic and he smiled even more genuinely. "Well, it's more properly 'habibi' to me as a man, you know?" Altaïr corrected her playfully.
"Oh, right," giggled Tami, "And 'láska moja' means my love in Slovak." "You know what, one more time, all right?" Tami nodded, holding gently in his arms.
"Good night, habibi…" Tami whispered sweetly as first. "Good night to you too... láska moja…" Altaïr cooed tenderly.
They eventually kissed each other passionately on the lips one last time for tonight and said goodbye, though they didn't want to separate. On the other hand, they know they will see each other again soon…

Crossover Universe - Gepardia Town Lore
I have to say it was a bit of a chore to describe the town/city, but I enjoyed it I confess. Although I feel like it's not quite perfect as always.
The important thing I have to say is that visuals are concepts, because I have no idea exactly what this town and coat of arms should look like yet. Should there be something missing or you've got some idea, feel free to tell me. 😊
Enjoy! (⌒_⌒;)
Concept Coat of arms:
Tumblr media
(made in Armoria by Azgaar)
About the town:
Population: around 4000, but the number is gradually increasing
Area: 20.43 km2 (square kilometres) | 7.89 sq mi
Highest Elevation: 131 m | 429.79 ft
Racial diversity: The most common races are humans and night elves, who make up nearly three-quarters of the city's population. In smaller numbers are trolls, dwarves, gnomes, orcs, taurens and several others.
History: A few residents from the capital, Ashte'quel, decided to leave and find a new home in the southeast as the city began to become overpopulated. A small group wandered through Wildebeest's Plains, struggling to survive. They were fleeing from lions, hyenas and occasionally theropod dinosaurs and finding water in the barren savannah was difficult.
One night a giant cheetah (Acinonyx pardinensis) came to their camp, and amazingly, unlike the other predators, it was friendly to the travelers and guided them to their new home. It helped them find water, food and safe places to camp.
The journey took 38 days, the exhausted travelers made their way through the Cheetah's Valley to the coast where was the best soil for growing crops and they settled there. But after that the cheetah disappeared and no one ever saw it again.
Travelers mourned over it and in its honour, the Czech artist František Burian named their new home Gepardia and built the statue of that giant cheetah that still stands in the town square today. Since then, in general, the cheetah has become the sacred animal not only of Gepardia, but also of the whole island.
About 380 years later, a queen of Havaykia named Inya Lunabloom proclaimed Gepardia as a town.
Architecture: The architecture is similar from the Middle East and Africa (mainly Morocco, Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania). Thanks to these types of buildings, residents are simply protected from the great summer heat. It's mixed between medieval and modern architecture.
Culture: The culture in Gepardia is diverse since many immigrants are living there. Most of the residents are huge nature enthusiasts and educate the public about conservation. Districts and quarters of the town are named after recently extinct animals from Earth. Festivals such as the Lunar Festival, which is mainly celebrated by night elves and taurens, and the Day of Freedom, which celebrates their liberation from the wars and cruelty of their former homes and worlds.
Cuisine: It is very diverse, but some of the favourites are Asian, Italian and Slovak cuisine. The most popular dish in town is the Slovak dish: Egg-coated bread in several ways.
Religion: It's diverse, but there are mostly atheists and believers who worship Mother Nature. The Night Elves believe that Thansuokria's moon is their goddess Elune from Azeroth, who is watching them. The bodies of the deceased are cremated to ashes, which are placed into urns and placed in underground cemeteries, which some incorrectly call catacombs. In late autumn, relatives of the deceased go to visit their urn. Havaykians believe that souls are indestructible and live forever in their own afterlife world and can travel through all universes freely.
Sport: Badminton and baseball are the town's most popular sports. The National Badminton Championships are organised every year. Gepardia's most famous baseball team is called the Swift Turtles, who have won the National Baseball Three-Week Tournament four times, which is played every three years in the late spring.
Transport: There are no cars in Havaykia, instead there are animals like horses, sabercats and dinosaurs that are suitable for traveling on land. They either are mounted or they pull carriages. In the town they walk on foot or take the train, which has tracks above the ground to avoid accidents. The seas are traveled by boats and ships (obviously). The newest added transport is the subway, which resides underground of the island and travels quickly and safely to distant towns and cities. There is no cost for transportation at all.
Criminality: Although Gepardia has the lowest crime rate on the island, there are still issues. Alcohol, cigarettes and similar drugs are very limited and gambling is strictly illegal in Gepardia. The guardians of the town are called Sentinels, who mostly solve problems like good cops without violence, but are still armed Kaldorei soldiers. Unfortunately since the Assassins and Templars got into Gepardia and the Sentinels were replaced by the Templar Knights, the crime rate has gradually increased as the two factions fight each other there. The prisoners are taken into the capital, where the prison is guarded by the Wardens.
Other informations:
The financial currency in Havaykia are cooper, silver and gold coins.
In general Havaykia and Gepardia strive to enable inhabitants to live a healthy and happy life.
Politicians and civilians are legally equal, and if a politician has extremist views at the polls, they are immediately voted out.
Healthcare is not paid, most doctors work for the passion of helping others, but of course they are paid by the government as long as they do an excellent job.
The maximum working time is 6 hours and 4 people per 24 hours. Taxes and insurance are paid only once a year and surprisingly it is not expensive. Wealthy residents have a so-called financial limit for example they can have a maximum of 100,000 golds and the extra is donated to poorer households and charities. This prevents unemployment and homelessness.
Ads don't exist at all in Havaykia because it's annoying for everyone.

Xerces Blue Butterfly Wood: Meadow park, which is named after an earth-extinct species of blue butterfly. Mostly it is a resting place for locals and tourists, but during the holidays there are festivals.
Nightjar Market District: Named after a small nocturnal bird that just happens to be common on the Earth, but some believe the district is actually named after a critically endangered (potentially extinct) species of nightjar called the Jamaican poorwill (Siphonorhis americana). This is a popular place to shop in the town, where farmers and traders sell their quality goods. There is also an assassin bureau where Altaïr and Malik work.
Thylacine District: Named after the extinct carnivorous marsupial. Although it is the smallest district of the town, the richest residents live there. The isolated building in the south of town was once an orphanage, which later moved into Giant Gecko Quarter. Badminton tournaments will be played in the southern part of the district.
Passenger Pigeon Park: A forest park where there are actually huge flocks of passenger pigeons and other species of pigeons and doves.
Gepardia Fortress: Home to the Mayor and their family who is protected by walls and Sentinels. That's where the lawsuits happen. It's the oldest building in the town.
Giant Gecko Quarter: A quarter named after the largest species of extinct gecko. There are kindergarten to high school, children's hospital and later orphanage.
Golden Toad District: The largest district and named for an extinct toad. There live most of the residents and hotels and pensions for tourists. There are the best restaurants, interesting monuments and a hospital. Naya and her father Mayur are living there.
Baiji Harbour: A harbour named after a possibly extinct freshwater dolphin. Ships transport resources into and from the capital, and tourists travel here. It was at this harbor that the Assassins stepped foot on Havaykia's land for the first time.
Gepardia Museum: It's built in front of the town square and contains the University of Natural Sciences and the administration.

Mayor Nythelar Evensky:
"This new town is not built for money, power or rulers! But it's only built for its people!"
Tumblr media
Nythelar Evensky was born in Falahnaar to a night elf mother and human father. Since childhood he was bullied by the other Kaldorei children since he is half elf and half human, but still he believed that he in one day change society for the better at least somewhere else.
In his early twenties, he moved to Gepardia, where he immediately fell in love with the place. Years later, as Gepardia was becoming a town, he campaigned for mayor. He promised a better future for the residents of the newly formed town, and he won the election as a result. After that he fulfilled all his promises and for that the people of Gepardia respected and loved him.
Only years later, Robert de Sablé and the Templars arrived in the town and warned the mayor of the assassins who planned to kill him and take over Gepardia, heading for a dictatorship. This made Nythelar paranoid and he had no choice but to allow the Templar's guards to patrol the town so that they could protect the civilians while the town Sentinels guarded him in the castle.
Yet he doesn't realize he made a mistake…

Altami AC AU – Little Leap of Faith
Here's a little fanfic which I first posted to the community, but decided to post it here, even I know my fanfics are generally uninteresting. (except for my the most beloved mutuals, love ya <3) This is a mini sequel to my AU where Tami got to the 12th century. :3
Sorry for the grammatical errors and bad English as always. :P
Enjoy! 💗
Tumblr media
Two weeks have passed since Al Mualim was killed and his favourite student Altaïr became the Mentor of the Brotherhood.
Since then, Altaïr began to reform the brotherhood, like for example he started to allow members of the brotherhood to be with their families and even accepted women as assassins.
Some of the Assassins weren't happy with his regulations as they didn't believe that their previous master had betrayed them and used them to take over the Holy Land. Fortunately, the tensions in Masyaf eventually calmed down.
"Ha! I won!" The apprentice shouted with joy after defeating Tami in the wooden sword duel.
"Excellent fight, Khalid," Rauf, their teacher, applauded enthusiastically, "Now get some rest, you two."
Khalid and Tami bowed respectfully to their teacher and left the ring. They joined the other three apprentices: the two boys, Salim and Yasir, and the girl, Alula.
Tami noticed above the silhouette of a figure standing behind the large window of the castle where the master's office was located. Altaïr was probably just watching them, probably taking a break from studying the Apple of Eden.
"So I won! You know what that means, novice?" Khalid sneered mockingly at Tami. "What's that, boyo?" Tami scowled irritably.
Khalid was two years younger than her, nevertheless, unlike her, he had been learning to be an assassin since childhood. Meanwhile, she had recently joined the brotherhood and she was still a novice.
Additionally, she was from the future (secretly), so Altaïr expected to get 21st century knowledge from her, but Tami couldn't reveal much of that and rather had knowledge regarding prehistoric life, which a medieval person didn't understand at all. At least he let her live in the Brotherhood since she had nowhere to go.
"Since you lost," Khalid continued, "I challenge you to take the Leap of Faith... over there!" He pointed his finger at the tower where the usually more experienced and braver Assassins practiced the Leap of Faith.
"What? But that's very high! No, thank you!" Tami protested. Khalid started making a hen, the other apprentices started laughing. "Chickens are smarter than you think!" Tami defended.
"Coward~! Coward~! Coward~!" The boys taunted her, only Alula remained silent. She guessed that didn't sound like a good idea at all.
Tami couldn't stand it, "Shut it! What happens if I don't jump?" "Then you'll be a novice and a coward forever!" Yasir laughed.
"And we'll keep reminding you of that!" Salim countered, and the three boys continued to do the chicken.
Tami internally felt offended, but gritted her teeth and decided, "Ugh! Fine! I'm going there!" The boys hooted derisively. Tami rolled her eyes irritatedly.
The five headed for the ladder leading up to the tower. They glanced at Rauf, who was busy training the other apprentices and novices, just to be sure he couldn't spot them. They took the opportunity to climb the ladder.
They climbed up, went inside, and climbed another ladder. The guards weren't here, thankfully, so they didn't have to get into trouble. Here were tables with chairs and a couple of vases to their left, and three wooden platforms to their right, from which they could jump down into the haystacks.
"Stand there, spread your arms and then take the leap!" Salim eagerly uttered.
"But have you already leaped from there?" Tami asked them. All four of them remained silent, looking evasively in a different direction. "Then why should I leap from there?"
"Because you lost the fight against me," Khalid reminded, "Or do you want to be a coward for good?" The guys were making chicken noises again.
"Khalid, don't you want to give her another punishment for her loss?" Alula questioned him worriedly, "She could lose her life-" Unfortunately no one listened to her.
Tami sighed in defeat and cautiously stepped onto the platform. She looked down to where the haystacks were, but it looked to be about fifteen meters high. A terror formed within Tami at the fear of heights that froze her in place.
"Jump! Jump! Jump!" The boys shouted. "Tami! Don't do this, please!" Alula begged fearfully. "Just jump and you'll be a Master Assassin immediately!" Yasir encouraged.
Even though Tami realized that they were so eager to humiliate her... But actually, what happens when she loses her life? Will she go back to her era or is it just over for good? It brought tears to her eyes.
"Ugh! Come on! Jump already, novice!" Khalid yelled in frustration that he was about to push her.
"What the hell is going on here?" Suddenly a harsh voice echoed behind them. They turned around, a familiar figure was standing there. The apprentices gasped and immediately bowed to him. "Safety and peace, Mentor," they greeted him at once.
The presence of the Mentor made the boys hide their confidence, and they pulled their tails down. In addition, since this was the great Altaïr, who had once been the youngest and most feared Master Assassin, he was now the Mentor, which made them both respectful and fearful.
"You are not supposed to be here," Altaïr scolded them, "Only Assassins of higher ranks leap from here." Altaïr walked over to Tami and gently pulled her away from the platform, away from the deadly fall.
"Who among you thought of coming here and risking your lives?" Altaïr crossed his arms, staring severely at the four apprentices and the novice.
"It was her idea, Mentor," Khalid lied, pointing at Tami, shocking her. "She wanted to show us that she is better than the rest of us without considering that she is only a novice."
Altaïr lifted his gaze to Tami in concern. "Tami, is this true?" He asked her in a monotone voice, but there was a hint of softness there. By the look in his eyes, she could see that he didn't buy Khalid's words.
She gulped and shook her head, "No, it's not true. In fact, I lost a training duel against Khalid and I'm supposed to do the Leap of Faith as punishment. And if I don't do it, I'm supposedly going to be a coward novice for good."
Altaïr raised his eyebrows under his hood at her response, then glanced at Khalid and frowned. This time Khalid swallowed saliva from nervousness. It was proof that he was lying.
"Is Tami telling the truth?" Altaïr asked the three other apprentices for confirmation. Salim and Yasir stared at the ground in embarrassment and didn't answer.
"She's telling the truth, Mentor," Alula answered honestly, "I told Khalid not to force her by doing this and-"
"Shut up, you snitch!" Khalid screamed at her angrily, but replaced it with humiliation as Mentor gave him a murderous glare. His cold golden eyes peered into his soul like a hawk ready to hunt its prey.
"Khalid," Altaïr started wrathfully, "For daring a novice to take on a dangerous challenge, for lying to me and even for screaming at a young woman, I'm giving you a punishment: you'll be cleaning the halls of the castle for three weeks! And if you don't improve, I'll revert you to the position of novice!"
"But it's not fair-" "No whining! Out!" Altaïr ordered him and Khalid shamefully headed down the ladder. Altaïr eyed the other apprentices, "The rest of you go back to your quarters, unless you want to take a similar punishment." "Yes, master." Salim, Yasir and Alula went down the ladder gradually.
Tami was about to follow them, not wanting to get into trouble- "Tami, you stay here," Altaïr stopped her. She stiffened in terror and gave him a frightened stare.
"Am I in trouble?" she asked humbly. "No," Altaïr gentled his gaze and tone, "I just want to ask you: why would you want to risk your life for a foolish dare?" "They were mocking me, except for Alula of course. Why are you asking?"
"I noticed you heading over here and I was worried you were going to get hurt. You should have come to tell me-"
"I'm not a kid, Altaïr," she cut him off, "They'd call me a snitch and taunt me even more. I know they're just kids, but it still makes me uncomfortable…"
"But you must tell me when some cocky apprentice dares you to do something that is dangerous for lower ranks," Altaïr admonished her, "You could get yourself killed if I don't arrive in time. Mindlessly making a Leap of Faith from a high altitude is not an act of bravery, but suicide."
Tami shamefully looked at the floor, tears forming in her eyes again. "Listen, Tami." Altaïr softened his voice, "I'm telling you this because I care about you and I don't want to let anything terrible happen to you."
He placed his fingers under her chin and lifted her sight to meet his eyes. Her face flushed red from his touch.
"I'm not mad at you. I just got... alarmed... when I saw you standing on that platform." Soon his hand moved from her chin to her left shoulder. "Right now I've got an idea. Go prepare yourself, I'll be waiting for you in front of the gate soon."
"A-And we're going somewhere?" Tami asked puzzled.
"It won't be far, it's only southeast of Masyaf there. Please don't make me wait long for you, deal?" "Deal…" Tami agreed.
The two carefully climbed down the ladders until they exited the tower. "I don't understand why you have ladders and you never built stairs?" Tami complained, "I always feel like I'm going to fall down."
Altaïr smirked, exhaling loud air from his nose from chuckle. "It's been like this for many years and there are no plans to change it for now. Anyways, go get ready for the trip and meet me at the gate. I'll be there soon."
Tami nodded and they both went to the castle. Inside, they split up so that Tami was heading to her room while Altaïr was probably announcing his leaving. She prepared her leather flask of water, since she had nothing else, and immediately ran to the gate of the castle.
She couldn't allow herself to be late and keep Altaïr waiting for long. Surprisingly he wasn't there yet, so she leaned against the stone wall and watched as the others trained.
After a few minutes, Altaïr arrived, stopped for a moment by Rauf, probably asking where Mentor was going. Tami couldn't understand them, as both men were speaking in Arabic.
"Ah! You're already here?" Altaïr spoke up as he finished talking to Rauf.
"I only brought water because I had nothing else," Tami responded, "And I don't like being late." "Alright then. Let's go…"
The two passed through Masyaf to the entrance of the village, where they mounted their horses. "I'm scared to gallop," Tami said tentatively.
"Well, we can walk on foot there, but then we'll go up the mountain," Altaïr added, "I wanted to go on the horses so you'll have some energy left when we go higher up on foot. Can you at least manage to trot?" "Y-Yes." "Sounds good to me." He helped her mount her horse, then saddled his own, and finally they set off at a trot.
Tami followed Altaïr until they reached a part of the road she didn't recognize. After a while they stopped and dismounted.
"Now we'll go up the mountain," Altaïr commented, "In about half an hour we'll reach our destination. Be careful of the flat rocks, don't slip." Tami nodded her head worriedly.
She followed him further up the steep path that led up the mountain. Fortunately, they walked carefully over the rocks.
After 30 minutes, they reached a place where there were platforms placed along the cliffs at different heights and underneath were haystacks. Here was a beautiful view of Masyaf and its castle.
"We're here," Altaïr announced. "And why are we here?" Tami asked, arching an eyebrow.
Altaïr stared deeply into her eyes and answered: "You're going to learn the Leap of Faith."
"W-what!?" stammered Tami, freezing in place, "But didn't you say I wasn't allowed to do that!?"
"You are not allowed to leap from the tower since it is very high and dangerous," he explained, "Novices and apprentices take this leap in order to rise into a higher rank. And I think you are ready."
Tami gulped again from anxiety. "Don't worry, you'll leap from the lowest platform," Altaïr reassured her, patting her shoulder. She sighed with relief and straightened up to appear more confident. It looked like she could handle it.
"Okay, where do I jump off?" She asked him focusedly. Altaïr snickered and pointed to a platform that was five meters high above the hay. Tami stiffened at that. "Wait, there!? Isn't there a lower one?"
"Such lower heights than this are only for novices that are children," Altaïr chuckled at her reaction, "And you are not child anymore, but a grown pret- I mean fine woman. You need to come out of your shell and overcome your limits."
Tami sighed, she didn't have a choice. She climbed up the ladder and slowly walked onto the lowest platform. She looked anxiously down at the haystacks. Would she even make it? Five meters was still high anyway. The same feeling as before in the tower washed over her.
"There's enough hay down there to soften the fall. And if anything, I'll help you," Altaïr whispered behind her, placing a hand on her shoulder, giving her comfort. "You need to have faith. At least a little one."
Tami finally took courage from his words and stepped carefully to the end of the platform. "One more thing, Altaïr." Tami stopped yet, "Do you have faith in me as well?"
Altaïr was surprised at her question, but nodded immediately. "Of course," he answered with a small smile, "If I didn't, I wouldn't have brought you here. Now close your eyes, spread your arms, take a deep breath, and then… leap."
Tami slowly spread her arms, closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and jumped… As she fell, there was the sound of an eagle flying not far from them, and she landed softly into the hay.
"You did it, Tami!" Altaïr cheered, "How do you feel?" But unfortunately he got no answer. "Tami? Tami, can you hear me?" He began to panic, immediately made a Leap of Faith to the nearby haystack and searched for her.
"Tami! Please, answer me!" He dug through the stalks of dry grass until- "Boo!" Tami suddenly peeked out and he startled.
"Don't you ever do this to me again!" Altaïr yelled in anger, "You scared the hell out of me!"
Tami stiffened and shook from his yelling, trying not to cry. Altaïr softened his gaze instantly when he saw her scared expression and wrapped her into his arms.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you this way. I was terrified that something had happened to you," he whispered tenderly, comforting her.
Tami embraced him in return, her face dyed into a tomato. "I-It's- i-it's alright," Tami stammered. After a moment, they pulled apart and smiled.
"Then, congratulations," Altaïr chimed in, "You've just turned from a novice into an apprentice." "I'm honored and thank you!" Tami offered him her hand and they shared a handshake.
"Now what?" She asked curiously. "Let's rest and enjoy the view," Altaïr suggested, "After all, we've almost come the hard way here." They both sat down by the hay and gazed at the beauty of Masyaf.
"I'm just realizing how gorgeous it is here," Tami said enchanted, "It's completely different from the 21st century." "What do you mean?" Altaïr questioned.
Tami let out a deep sigh, "At that time the air is polluted, a lot of trash is littered around the environment, the noise of airplanes is disturbing, and so on... I feel like once upon a time the world was still fine, when people didn't know the advanced technology and chemistry that was starting to destroy the planet."
"But you don't miss home, though?" Altaïr demanded seriously. Tami gave a little saddened smile and nodded slowly. "Yeah, but at least it's nice to see what it used to be like. Except it's all wars here, right?"
"Yes," he confirmed, "I've seen so many wars and so many fallen soldiers and civilians. Are there wars going on in your time, or are they all finally over?"
"Unfortunately they're not over and probably won't be any time soon," she shook her head sadly, "There are fewer of them than there used to be in the past, but they're more devastating. The worst are the weapons that can wipe out humanity for good, which is what I'm most terrified of."
"Well you know, to be honest, I've heard stories many times that humanity will be over soon. Mostly because of wars and plagues, but eventually they will be able to get back on their feet and live to see another day. Hopefully it will get better in your time as well."
"I hope really so…" whispered Tami to herself, thankfully his words gave her at least a little encouragement. Together they continued with observing Masyaf and the nearby nature. A golden eagle flew above them until it perched on one of the platforms and watched them curiously.
"By the way," said Altaïr, "In a few days I will start on my journey to Cyprus." "But what if the boys are going to bully me again?" Tami worried. Altaïr put his hand on her shoulder again. "Don't worry, Tami," Altaïr smiled softly, sincerely, "If Khalid or any other fool were to harass or hurt you, go to Malik. They're all afraid of his wrath."
"Really?" "Yes. He'll help you while I'm away. And since you're an apprentice, hopefully the other apprentices will respect you more… Alright, I've got some work to do today. We'd better get back."
The two stood up and prepared to return to the castle. "Altaïr?" Tami addressed him. "Yes?" Altaïr paused, listening to her.
"Thank you for having faith in me," Tami smiled shyly, "Actually, besides my family, you're the only person who really trusts me, even without acting mockingly or rudely towards me despite the fact that I'm from the future."
"You're welcome, Tami. Even though you and I are from two different times, we're both still humans."
Finally, the two of them slowly walked back home…

Crossover Universe Maps and some Lore
I finally got around to writing some Lore about my Crossover Universe. I have to say that it will change over time, because I have constantly changed it over the years.
I admit that there won't be much, such as the whole history and culture, because I probably can't do good worldbuilding, I mostly do it for fun. Still I'm still ashamed of it...
I also have to mention that most of the islands have some parts of the lore of my favourite video games (since it's called Crossover Universe of course :P).
So anyways... Enjoy? ╮( ̄~ ̄)╭
The Crossover Universe is actually a multiverse that connects several alternate universes in order not to damage their main timelines.
Planet Thansuokria:
Tumblr media
The new residents named the planet Thansuokria, which was said to be larger than Earth. This water planet has several islands separated by stormy oceans. No one knows why individuals from any universes and timelines end up here. For some it's a great change, for others it's a disaster and they wish to return. Some think that Thansuokria may be an afterlife, as most of the residents have arrived shortly before dying or falling asleep, but this is largely denied.
Here is a smaller part of Thansuokria where the story takes:
Tumblr media
Islands:
Azerwias (Warcraft) - The largest diverse island, the main residents of which are from Azeroth, Outland and Draenor. Relations between the Alliance and the Horde are usually very tense and they try to gain as much territory as possible. Nevertheless, both sides were able to make a peace agreement, but it is not known how long it will last.
Cross Island (Assassin's Creed) - An island owned by the Templars and Abstergo as the main base and ruled by a dictatorship. The Templars manipulate the Alliance so that they can eliminate their enemies easier and gradually expand their Order to other islands. Either way the Assassins try to stop them…
Fouria (Left 4 Dead) - Originally it was a holiday island, until one day an epidemic broke out there causing a zombie apocalypse. Today it is a strictly forbidden place where experiments are carried out to eliminate the virus. Fortunately, the virus did not spread further and a vaccine was even invented, which created immunity in the vaccinated. But the vaccine could no longer help the infected and new mutants were created from them, which managed to leave the island and reach other areas.
Mann Islands (Team Fortress) - Islands with an endless war between two companies RED (Reliable Excavation Demolition) and BLU (Builders League United). The arms company Mann Co located in it's city makes money from their war, but is even interested in doing business with the Alliance and the Templars, the Horde considers them as dishonest cowards. RED and BLU have mercenary teams that attack each other to get the rarest resources to make their products. Most mercenaries enjoy their jobs for the money and/or even the enjoyment of the combat, though there are exceptions who are there involuntarily.
Whirlsand Ruins (Warcraft, little bit) - A desert island that is impossible to live. This place is the main home of the bronze dragons guarding the center of the island. Some believe they guard timetraveling portals, as the bronze dragons of Azeroth are known for traveling and protecting time. It's still a mystery…
Pure Kingdom (OFF) - A mysterious island inhabited by humanoid beings called Purifiers who may have a probable connection to The Batter. Their kingdom isolates itself from other factions and refuses to form alliances or create wars because they consider them as impure. Rarely, red-eyed individuals have a curse that allows them to turn into a monster and threaten their surroundings. They are often exiled for this, as the Purifiers believe that the curse can spread among others and hope that the exiles will perish beyond the borders of their kingdom. But it's not always like that, and the cursed Purifiers can find a new home in an unknown world…
Island of Eagle (Assassin's Creed) - The hidden island of the Assassin's Brotherhood, where they only live in the secret small town Accipiteria and the rest of the island is wilderness, so that their archenemies the Templars will never find them. It had been going like this for a many years since they entered that world, unfortunately one day they were attacked by the Templars, destroyed their town and captured or killed several Assassins. The survivors managed to escape in the south to safety.
Havaykia (Crossover, made this island since childhood) - An isolated island that rebuilds a sanctuary for those who have fled their homelands and can live here in peace. It is mainly known for the diversity of inhabitants from other islands living in harmony and the exotic colorful wildlife. Since Havaykia does not support wars and colonization, several factions are still interested in getting this territory for themselves, but the inhabitants of the island defend their rights to freedom.
Oceans and Seas:
Waves of Silence - It got its name from the waves, which for a mysterious reason cannot heard any sounds.
The Proud Waters - Ships of important personalities and politicians who enjoy sailing expeditions often sail along these waters.
The Whispering Depths - Legends say that in this sea at night there are whispers of sailors who died in storms during their voyages.
Sea of Lost Souls - It is infamous for the high number of lost ships. At first, no one understood why, until eventually they discovered that this sea has the largest number of marine reptiles like mosasaurs, which attack smaller ships and hunt sailors. They believe that mosasaurs hunt on ships because they often mistake them for their usual prey (whales in this case). Fortunately, they managed to find a safer way to cross to the other side of the sea.
Ocean of Unknown - The most dangerous ocean on the planet. Nobody knows what lies behind the aggressive waves and storms. If anyone tried to find out, they never returned. Some people think that Thansuokria is flat, but in fact the part of the ocean where they live is just the tip of the planet's iceberg.
The Heart Sea - Named after the shape of the heart. There is a diverse ecosystem and a rich coral reef with both modern and prehistoric animals.
Island Havaykia:
An island with a very varied nature and a diverse population. Several mountains and waters are named after the area's most common animal or shape, such as the Dragon's River or Cheetah's Valley. Havaykia is mainly known for the occurrence of modern and prehistoric animals and plants and rare creatures such as hypogryphons and griffons. Around the island there are several smaller islands that are strictly protected by law due to the occurrence of endemic species of fauna and flora, such as Moho's Island located close to the Small Coral Reef. Even though the population is diverse and coexisting, discrimination still exists unfortunately.
Tumblr media
Cities, Towns and Villages:
Ashte'quel - the capital and largest city of Havaykia, where all races and factions coexist peacefully.
Falahnaar - the city of Kaldorei, which is quite similar to the now destroyed city of Darnassus from Azeroth. The Night Elves tend the wilderness and a gigantic tree called Kaldrassil.
Oakheart City - the city of former Alliance's fighters. It is the oldest city of Havaykia, where the first inhabitants settled. It is named after the occurrence of oak forests with heart-shaped leaves.
Greentree - the harbor city, where the best fishermen of the island live.
Mardual - the city of former Horde's warriors who see war as a dishonest and pointless fight for territories that do not belong to them.
Warpeace - the oldest city from the Horde's side. The city got its name from a small civil war due to food shortages, which luckily ended without fatal consequences.
Raptoria - the village of trolls, which is known for important breeding of several genuses and species of raptors.
Peatgor - the city covered with peat. It is known to archive the historical writings of Havaykia.
Red and Blue Forts - the both cities of former mercenaries from both teams. Even though they are no longer fighting each other, there is still tension and discrimination between them.
Sahrasaeida - the village near an oasis and a popular resting place for travelers.
Faenanor - the school village of druids, where newcomers learn new skills of druidism.
Strix - the Kaldorei's village, known for its important breeding of birds of prey and owls.
Gepardia - the village later becoming a town. Residents do projects to protect the cheetahs, but other endangered species and the environment on the island.
Cheetah's Valley:
Cheetah's Valley is mainly a savanna area known for the highest population of cheetahs. This is the most peaceful and safest place on the island, but it's not always like that. The climate is mostly mild and the savannah part of the valley experiences high temperatures in summer and snow in winter at higher elevations.
Tumblr media
Points of Interest:
Entrance into the Valley - The only land entrance to the valley, as Pecker's Hills and Falcon's Highlands are often dangerous to pass through. Herds of animals often pass through it.
TaE Family's Ranch - Home of the TaE Family, which is not just like a family, but also like a small community that is outsided by society. They raise domesticated hadrosaurs and small feathered theropods, but also help injured and abandoned animals. Since there is nothing there that would attract the other factions, the Templars still plan to take over their ranch and could use it to create a new position for Abstergo. Of course the TaE Family fights back and for this they later form an alliance with the Assassins to save their home.
Assassin's Hideout - The new home of the Assassin's Brotherhood since the destruction of the Accipiteria. They settled in Falcon's Highlands to keep the Templars from getting to them and started training new novices. Assassins travel all over the island on missions to make the island a better place with more freedom.
Palins Farm - A farm owned by the Palins Family, who are family friends of the TaE Family and trade supplies with each other. The Palins Family work honestly and as a result they usually have the best vegetables and fruits grown in the valley.
Survivor's Saferoom - A shelter located not far from Gepardia where the survivors live. They keep their distance from others as they have had interactions with the Infected and can be carriers until they find out the vaccine exists. Still, they decided to hunt down the Infected so as not to endanger the innocent.
Cheetah Sanctuary - Rescue center for cheetahs and other animals and educate the public about fauna, ecosystem and environment.
RED & BLU Camps - The camps of both teams, where the mercenaries came to find available materials for production, which is illegal in Havaykia.
Infected's Refuge - A hidden place within the borders of Pecker's Hills, where the Infected and mutants hide from the civilization that wants to eliminate them.
TaE Family's Ranch:
Tumblr media
Ranch Entrance - A stone arch welcomes visitors.
TaE Family's House - A large house where 25 people can live there.
Workshop - There they are created and repaired as fences, furniture and wooden decorations.
Warehouse - Food grown there is supplied.
Food Garden - Fruits and vegetables are grown, which are in charge of Elphina, Tarion and Relante.
Hadrosaur's Barn - A stable where hadrosaurs such as Parasaurolophus, Lambeosaurus, Olorotitan, Corythosaurus and Tsintaosaurus are housed, but also smaller dinosaurs such as Dryosaurus and Leaellynasaura. There are incubators for eggs dropped by females and stall boxes for babies.
Hadrosaur's Enclosure - Herbivorous dinosaurs graze and live like in the wild. On the left side of the enclosure, there are three lookouts through which you can safely observe the dinosaurs.
Lily Lake - Water source for enclosure residents and fun fishing.
Mini Raptor's Enclosures - Two aviaries where Microraptors and Archaeopteryxes are kept.
Cerato's Enclosure - The enclosure of TaE Family's tamed Ceratosaurus named Cerato (I'll probably change the name later because it's a bland name for Ceratosaurus), which was raised by Clara.
Veterinary Building - Injured and sick animals are treated here.
Recovering Enclosure - An enclosure for treated animals to recover, so that they can later return to nature.

A random AU where Tami somehow ended up in the 12th century in the Holy Land or in AC1 game idk (part 1?)
Altaïr originally thought she was a witch or something because of her clothes, but when he found out Tami was actually from the 21st century, he got the idea that she would be useful to the Brotherhood with her knowledge of the future. But instead it was just facts about animals and prehistoric creatures + stupid memes he didn't understand at all.

*Yeets my random dumb artworks into your dash (if you care lol)*
Hey, guys! I'm back after a short hiatus, but I had some difficulties and chaos along the way (it's a little better now).
As I've decided on a bit of a change on the blog: I will stop liking and reblogging political stuff (except for vetted campaigns and donations even though I have a very small following). It really ruins my mental health and due to that I often lose my motivation to create art.
Mostly I want this blog to be my escape from reality, but it's not helping much anymore. I'm wondering if I should create my own private community only for my mutuals, where there will be mostly about Altami, Crossverse and random silly stuff, but I'm a little scared of this idea due to my shyness and that I might mess something up. I hope everything will be better…
Please stay safe, everyone! 💕

HEY MALIK! 😄
I've redone another old artwork of mine from 2022. I even ripped another Malik's model and modified it (like for example I added hair and now he looks so much better!). 😊
Unfortunately I can't manage to write my fanfics, but I've decided to start writing again in September since the heat is killing me (curse you global warming 🤬).

Altaïr ❤️ Reader Oneshot - Saving Marriage
Summary: Altaïr and Reader are having marital difficulties due to Altaïr's job. Trigger Warnings: Arguing and sad moments
This oneshot was inspired by the song Two Sides by Fish in a Birdcage. It's angst, but that will be a little fluff at the end. I don't think it's well written, but I'm at least glad I finally finished it.
Enjoy! 💕
"Are you even listening to me!?" yelled Y/N at her husband, who was staring exhaustedly at the TV. He ignored her rants and listened to the news of the day.
"Darling, you know I'm tired," he responded after a long time, "I need to rest to get ready for work tomorrow."
"You keep telling me that, and it's been the fourth month!" Y/N screamed again in frustration.
Altaïr sighed from annoyance and stood up from his armchair. "Then I'm sorry that I try to support us to not end up under a bridge!" Altaïr scowled in fury, "Why don't you just let me relax at all!?"
"It's not about that!" Y/N countered, "I just want you to notice me! You always ignore me! It's more like I don't exist in your life!"
"If I'd ignored you, I wouldn't be here anymore!"
"But you're not cleaning up your stuff and helping me with the chores!"
"How the hell am I supposed to do all this if I don't have the energy and time!?"
They argued for almost 20 minutes, the living room filled with tension and choked with their yells and fury.
"Enough!" Y/N cried, wiping away her tears, "I can't take this anymore with you…" Altaïr's anger vanished from his face and was replaced by concern. "Y/N-" "Leave me alone, Altaïr…" Y/N walked into the kitchen and cried on the table.
Both had been married for almost half a year and were living in a small cheap apartment since they didn't have enough money to buy a family house. Y/N remembered how they met for the first time.
People didn't like Altaïr much due to his arrogance and rudeness, but Y/N was able to see his good and vulnerable side. Surprisingly, she was the only person he was polite towards and even helped her a lot, which led them both to start dating and a few years later he proposed to her.
Unfortunately, her parents still doubted about their relationship, thinking he pretends to love her and the true face will show when they start living together. Y/N didn't believe their words and hoped Altaïr was exactly as she knew him.
Then a year later the two got married. She looked at her gold ring. It was a beautiful wedding and she couldn't wait to see how she would live happily with him for the rest of their lives.
The first weeks of their marriage were wonderful, but after a while, when Altaïr found a new job, the two became distant from each other. He worked every day (including weekends) from early morning to late evening and hardly ever spent time together.
He always left in the morning without breakfast and returned in the evening tired and watching TV before going to bed. Y/N tried to find a job to be financially equipped but regrettably she was unsuccessful and was always rejected in job interviews.
She started to realize that her parents had been right all along. Perhaps Altaïr didn't love her after all and was using her to take care of their home while he worked. Nonetheless, deep in her heart, she still hoped that her husband is a good man.
But for the last few months, when they've had any contact, they've just been arguing. Because of this, they frequently received complaints from neighbours unable to handle their yelling.
Y/N missed his touch, hugs, kisses and sweet nothings. She remembered how Altaïr always cheered her up when she was sad, but he didn't do it anymore. She had probably lost him and wondered if she would leave him and return to her parents.
Meanwhile, Altaïr watched her sorrowfully behind the doorframe. He mentally swore at himself, how he had hurt her. He worked in a physically difficult job, in which his boss was hard on him and forced him to work all week.
It was the only job available so he could pay the rent. He did it especially for Y/N and they could have had a better future. However, the work was crushing him and he couldn't even manage to put dry clothes in the wardrobe. He felt bad that his beloved wife was suffering because of him and wished to change it for the better.
Altaïr sighed and walked towards her. "Y/N…" he addressed her softly, "I'm sorry I-" "Altaïr… We need to get a divorce," Y/N decided.
"What?" Altaïr gasped in fright. He felt like those words stabbed him deep into heart.
He fell to his knees, "Y/N, no! Please!" He begged her sorrowfully, tears sliding from his golden eyes, "Please don't leave me! I need you-"
Y/N slammed on the table and screamed, "You just need me to live somewhere and I'll clean up everything after you and feed you! Nothing more!" "Y/N-" "Don't say any single damn word! I don't want to argue with you! Tomorrow I'll pack my things and leave!"
She rose from the table and headed back to the living room, but before she stopped at the door and looked at him. "I'm going to go sleep on the couch so I don't bother you.
After all, my parents were right: you're only pretending to love me…" She whispered coldly, but there was a hint of pain in her voice and eventually closed the door behind her.
Altaïr was standing numbly, not believing what had just happened. "Why do I fuck it all up?" he facepalmed and burst into more tears. Despite this, he decided, "I have to fix this…"
The morning dawned and Y/N slowly opened her eyes. Surprisingly she wasn't on the couch in the living room, but on the bed in the bedroom instead. She felt her body being embraced by strong hands that were caressing her tenderly.
"Good morning," a gentle voice echoed behind her ear. "Altaïr?" She asked uncertainly, lifting her gaze to his face. He looked refreshed and warmly smiled at her.
"Altaïr, what's going on?" Y/N was confused, "Am I dreaming?"
"No," he shook his head, "It's real, sweetheart." Y/N separated from him uncomfortably. "Y/N, it's okay," Altaïr tried to comfort her by caressing her hair, but she slapped his hand away from her.
"Don't touch me!" she hissed at him, making his heart ache, "Why are you suddenly acting like this? Shouldn't you have been at work a long time ago?"
Altaïr stared at her bleakly, probably she had stopped trusting him. "I quit," he confessed. Y/N raised eyebrows, but kept listening to him.
"That job was killing me, and the truth is I was ignoring you cause I really needed to relax. But I always thought of you when I was working. And I always felt bad that we were arguing. I confess I was very selfish lately, and for this I deeply apologize."
Y/N wondered if she should forgive him, but what if he lied and they stayed in a toxic relationship again. "I…" she struggled to speak, "I don't know… I don't know if I should really trust you."
"Trust me, habibti. Did I ever lie to you?"
"I seriously don't know… I feel like you're just using me."
"No, Y/N. I do really love you. I'll try to find a better job so we can support ourselves but also still be together, happy this time. Please, my love, let's try to save our marriage. And if it fails, you have the right to go…"
Y/N was surprised at his suggestion. She remembered Altaïr telling her that he was insecure about whether he would be a good partner for her. Even though, she always gave him a chance and their relationship continued to work out in a good way.
He had a difficult childhood and thanks to her he became a better person. She realized if Altaïr continued to do that awful job and also she left him, he probably wouldn't survive. Besides, he was her only best friend who helped her through the hardest times.
Y/N carefully placed her palm on his hand and squeezed it softly. The two glanced deeply into each other's eyes. Their faces were drawn closer until their lips pressed together. Altaïr gently cupped her face and kissed her passionately and she kissed him back.
They enjoyed each other's affection and passion after a long time that they made out for as long until they needed a breath of air. Then two of them lay down on the bed together and cuddled.
"I missed you so much," Y/N whispered with a small smile, pressing her face against his chest.
Altaïr smiled and a tear escaped his eye, "I missed you so much as well, habibti," he cooed tenderly, "If anything should concern you between us, please tell me."
"But what if we argue again?" Y/N got worried.
Altaïr kissed her forehead to comfort her, "Don't worry, dear. I promise I won't yell at you and we'll handle this with peace and understanding, okay?" "Okay." Y/N agreed with him and snuggled closer.
As they cuddled together, Y/N's belly groaned. "Someone's hungry," Altaïr joked, "Let me make breakfast for you, my beloved." Y/N's cheeks blushed at his comment.
He got out of bed, headed towards the kitchen and prepared the ingredients for her favourite breakfast dish. Y/N couldn't believe that her husband went to cook. The last time he cooked was a few days before he started work. She missed his food, which used to be very tasty.
"Breakfast is ready!" Altaïr called her. Y/N walked into the kitchen and sat down on a chair at the table. The food looked delicious and the scent tickled her nostrils.
"You cooked (favourite breakfast dish)," Y/N was impressed. Altaïr nodded his head with a smirk, resting his hands on other chair. She tasted a piece. She tasted a bite, feeling like in heaven.
"Is it tasty?" Altaïr asked curiously, she nodded brightly. "I'm glad to hear that," he was pleased, sat down on his seat and began to eat with her.
After breakfast Altaïr sat next to Y/N and they cuddled to strengthen their bond. "Altaïr?" Y/N addressed him.
"Yes, honey? What do you have on your mind?"
"You know… Since you don't have a job anymore, how are we going to pay the rent?"
"We'll think of something, my love," Altaïr pondered, petting her hair. Then he got the idea, "How about we find a job together?"
Y/N glanced up at his handsome face, "Together like we both find the same job?"
"Yes. So we will always be together, helping each other and moreover so we will earn. What do you think?"
"You know what, dear?" Y/N smiled, "That doesn't sound like a bad idea."
The two kissed passionately on the lips once again. "I was wrong," Y/N cooed softly, "You're the same Altaïr I adore."
"Don't blame yourself, habibti," Altaïr caressed her cheek tenderly, "I'm especially glad that we love each other again as we used to… And I hope we will love each other even more in the future…" ♡

Crossover Universe/Altami – First Rescue
Summary: Tami was rescued by Altaïr from two templars for the first time. Trigger Warnings: Death of those two templar guards
Sequel of First Meeting. 😊 I'll admit I'm not too proud of this fanfic, but I've started using DeepL Translator because Google Translate is trash now. This makes the dictionary a little more expanded and interesting (I think). Again, I really can't describe combat and Tami becomes fine shortly after she saw the two men being killed by the assassin in front of her, which I admit isn't great writting, but I just don't know how I could have written it any other way. Well, whatever… ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌
Enjoy! 💗
Four days have passed since Tami met a mysterious man in the market and did not stop thinking about him. She had so many questions like: What is he doing here?
How did he get here? How does he sound like?
What is his goal here? Will he ever come back here?
Will she see him again?
She told her family and friends about him, but no one believed her saying: "Sorry, Tami, but aren't you starting to exaggerate too much about that guy from those games and stories? There is a very little chance that he will be in Havaykia and precisely in Gerpadia."
On the other hand, Tami didn't blame them. Perhaps she dreamt she met him or perhaps it wasn't him at all, but some cosplayer.
Today, Tami read random articles from boredom. As she surfed on the website, her eyesight noticed the name of one article: Are Assassins good or evil? She clicked the article of curiosity and started reading... She found that the article wrote that Assassins can be dangerous even towards civilians, and some Assassins only care about reputation and power and they don't care about freedom at all.
And they gave a bad example to… Altaïr… Tami frowned and immediately turned off the page.
"Nonsense!" she hissed to herself, "The assassins will never harm the innocent! They are trying to fight for freedom! And Altaïr was the best assassin who ever lived!"
Suddenly, the door opened, startling Tami. "Hey, Tami!" Elphina greeted her with a playful smile.
"Elphi! Next time knock, please!" Tami snapped at her. "Sorry, sis! I forgot you are such a scary-cat sometimes!"the night elf woman laughed, "Okay, anyway… I wanted to ask you if you'd go shopping in town?"
"Alright?" Tami raised her eyebrows, "What do you need?" "Just the parts to fix the gate at Cerato's paddock." "And who's coming with me?"
"Oh, well… There's a little issue with this," Elphina scratched uncertainly at her neck, "Unfortunately, you're going… by yourself."
Tami's jaw dropped at what she had heard, "What? Why!?" "Because everyone's busy now. You know, like Emma, Takuya and Gavin are in university now… Tarion is in Faenanor… Tanisa and Relante are at school…"
"Oh, come on! Always somebody go with me! Like at least Cleanth will go?" Tami asked with hope. Elphina shook her head, "Nope. He's doing chores right now." "Scouts?" "They're cooking lunch now."
"Hunters?" "Tami, you know they can't go into town. It's dangerous for them." "Maiev?" "My mom has to guard the ranch."
"Taino?" "He's working in the workshop." "Talar?" "Feeds animals." "Talidea?" "Treats injured animals."
"Erm… And you?" Tami smiled nervously, she really didn't want to go into town alone.
Elphina rolled her eyes, "And unfortunately I have to work in the garden."
"And can't we order instead?" Tami tried to dodge out of the responsibilities for the last time. Elphina sighed in disappointment, "Tami, listen to me, sis. You're a grown woman and you need to be independent. You've got to go into town from time to time to either shop or organize something."
Tami sighed defeatedly and nodded her head, "Fine. You're right, Elphi. I'll give it a try."
"Excellent!" rejoiced Elphina, "Here's a list of the parts we need. And don't worry, you just go there, shop, and in the end you return home. It's not that hard. And if anything, you call me, okay?" "Okay... Oh Elune, why me?"
Later, Tami left the ranch and headed down to Gepardia, which located four kilometres from her home. After half an hour of walking, she arrived in a town square where there might be a shop selling tools and parts. Luckily there weren't many people on a weekday, which relieved Tami a bit since she usually feels nervous in public. The midday sun's rays beamed on Tami's eyes that she put on her hood and gazed around the town square.
Suddenly she saw someone jumping and running on the roofs tops. Tami realized it was him, the mysterious man. She stiffened and stared as he was doing a parkour and jumping over the obstacles.
He moved so elegantly and professionally, mesmerizing Tami. Then he disappeared from sight into the shadows.
"Oh wow! Someone is playing a monkey and going to get hurt! Some these people today," commented the pedestrian annoyedly and continued to mind their own business.
Tami gasped quietly with delight, "So that means I didn't imagine him at all! He really exists!"
"Hey, you!" A harsh male voice shouted behind her. Tami froze in fear, turned and spotted two men wearing crusader armor, dressed like knights. "Yes?" Tami asked anxiously, "What do you need, sirs?"
"You're that assassin who was reported by the witnesses," the tall knight pointed his finger at her.
Tami began to panic, but tried to resolve the situation peacefully. "No! That must be a misunderstanding!" she defended, "I'm no assassin! This is just my usual outfit."
"Your lies won't save you this time, rat!" The shorter knight grabbed her arm, "You're coming with us!" Tami yanked her arm away from his grab and backed away from them. "I'm telling you… I'm… Not… An assassin! Sentinels!"
People around them glared at them and kept their distance. They just stared at her in fright and nobody wanted to do anything. "We're now those sentinels and you made a horrible mistake," the tall knight whispered venomously and drew his sword.
Tami didn't understand why those "sentinels" were handling this random misunderstanding with violence. Something wasn't right. The town sentinels have never resolved most conflicts with violence unless it was the only option.
Realizing Tami had no other choice, she took flight. "STOP!" The shorter knight shouted, and they both ran after her. She headed between the narrow streets, hoping they would lose her easily. Nonetheless, the knights were surprisingly fast and were always on her heels.
"HELP!" Tami cried out, but no one came to rescue her. Every person she met while fleeing, hid in their homes when they heard the two knights approaching.
After running for so long, she reached a dead end. "Sakra…" she cursed and quickly pulled out her phone to call Elphina. "Come on, come on, come on, come on!" She panicked as she waited for her oldest sister to pick up the receiver, "Please! Please! Please!" Unfortunately no one answered, which horrified her.
"Gotcha, rat!" the two knights found and surrounded her. Tami tried to at least climb the wall, but failed and fell to the ground. "Ha! You must be a novice, if you can't climb walls yet! What a jackpot!" taunted the shorter man.
Tami pressed herself against the wall, breathing heavily. She had nowhere to go… She was trapped… "Who are you!?" shouted Tami frowning, "Since when are you sentinels in Gepardia!?"
"Our master got permission from the mayor so we could patrol the town and catch filthy snakes like you, assassin," the taller man answered. "I repeat, I'm not an assassin," Tami growled and hissed like an angry cat.
"You still think we're going to easily believe you so you can immediately hide in the shadows and continue with your dirty tricks?" the higher man laughed and drew his sword, "Prepare to meet your fallen comrades…"
Tami was terrified, realizing that they were going to kill her. Since when is it allowed to kill someone outright without a trial? Actually, why are they allowed to kill whoever they want? She closed her teary eyes tightly and waited for the death embrace…
At that moment the screech of an eagle was heard above them, followed by a click that made both knights freeze in fright. They both looked all around, but saw no one.
"Show yourself, assassin!" one of the knights ordered, even the fear echoing in his voice. From the shadows, an assassin charged at the taller man and slashed him in the neck with a hidden blade. It was so fast that the knight didn't have time to notice and fell to the ground with a bloody hole in his neck. He gasped for breath and died shortly after.
The assassin stood between Tami and the other knight to protect her. The other man hesitated, but then charged at the assassin, but the assassin dodged and stopped his sword with his dagger. Knight tried to shove him off, which the assassin took advantage. He kicked him in the crotch, which made the enemy scream in pain and fall to his knees. At last the assassin gave him a fatal blow in the throat.
Tami shivered in shock. It felt like she wasn't breathing. She had never seen with her own eyes a person murder someone, in this case murder two people. The assassin turned to glare at her and slowly approached her. She curled herself into a ball. Even though she knew who he was, she still wasn't sure if he was trying to hurt her or help her since she was a witness.
Assassin knelt in front of her at her height, "Don't be afraid," she heard his voice, "I'm not gonna hurt you." He had an elegant Arabic accent, which made her dare to look up. He offered her a hand, she carefully grasped his palm and he helped her to stand up.
"Thank you," she whispered shyly. Tami was still traumatized, but at least she felt more safe with him. She gazed at his face. He looked so handsome. It was him… She met him once again…
Then suddenly they heard voices in the distance, presumably more sentinels were coming. "Follow me!" the assassin commanded her. He climbed up the wall, grabbed her wrist and pulled her up. Then they both started to flee.
The assassin was more acrobatic and even more persistent than Tami that she soon began to lose her breath. "Wait a minute!" she stopped, "I need to catch my breath!"
"Do you want to get caught?" he barked. She shook her head sheepishly. "Then move!" he ordered her and she kept following him.
Minutes later, they both made it to the park, where they should be safe. Tami finally was able to gather her breath, thinking about what had just happened. The assassin stood beside her in the shadows. He watched his surroundings like a hawk, to see if danger would appear.
Tami assumed that he would just leave her and move on, but he wasn't going anywhere. She wondered why, because according to the game and the legends, whenever he saved a civilian, he would leave to do another duty after they thanked him. Why was he sticking by her now?
"How do you feel?" the assassin asked. "Physically better, but mentally awful," Tami replied. The assassin sighed softly through his nose from giggling at her response, but immediately became serious, "Mentally awful because you saw me kill?"
"Yeah… But still, thank you one more time." The assassin nodded his head in sympathy. "I'm sorry you saw that. I mostly try to avoid confrontations, but sometimes there's no other option. Besides, you're that Tami, one who asked about… dinosaurs, correct?"
Tami flushed as she heard her name and nodded awkwardly, "T-That's me. And you are… Altaïr?" she asked carefully.
The assassin's eyes widened with surprise, "Wait… How do you know my name?" he rumbled grimly and his hidden blade popped up.
Tami gulped from nervousness, "Um… Well… I know your name because I'm… a fan of yours?" She smiled anxiously at him, mentally praying he wouldn't stab her.
"A fan?" He puzzled, but there was no emotion to be seen on his face.
"Yes! You know, as your admirer! You're a well known overall… Like- Like- Like a legend! You've been written about in the books and there's also a video game about you and- Oh, sorry! I shouldn't have said that I know so much about you! Please don't hurt me!" Tami hid her face with her hands in embarrassment.
Altaïr only rolled his eyes and sheathed his hidden blade, "You don't have to be afraid," he said, "I apologize for being threatening. For a second I thought you were an agent, but you're innocent and those templars wanted to kill you, so I don't think you're a threat to me."
"The templars?" Tami questioned, "They are here?" "N'am," retorted Altaïr, "They sailed here to take away the freedom of the innocent."
"What? Oh, no! Havaykia is an island of freedom and peace!" Tami stated concerned, "But supposedly the mayor of Gepardia gave them permission to be here instead of the usual sentinels… How have I never heard of this?"
"Do you live here, Tami?" Altaïr inquired. "I live in a ranch with my family. Only a few kilometres from the town," Tami responded, "I don't usually go here. I went shopping today for parts to repair the gate of the paddock. And then what happened, now I'm afraid to walk down the street here…"
"Put your hood down," Altaïr advised her, "They're hunting me especially and they're suspicious of anyone who wears a white hood."
Tami listened to him and put her hood down. "There, now you look more like a civilian," he said, "And if you want to, I'll keep guard so you can buy those parts safely, deal?"
Tami couldn't believe her ears. He was going to help her! "Really!? Deal!" her eyes sparkled with delight, "Thank you again, Altaïr! It is a great honor!"
Altaïr rolled his eyes and climbed the building while Tami walked across the square. She glanced up to where Altaïr leaped over obstacles on the rooftops, but sometimes stopped to wait for her to pass and then continued on.
Soon she spotted the tool shop and went inside. She greeted the shopkeeper, showed the necessary parts on the letter, which she then received, paid with 5 golds, thanked them and finally went out.
She saw Altaïr again, who beckoned her to approach him. She headed towards another tight alley where he was there.
"That's all you need?" He inspected her. "Yeah," she nodded enthusiastically, "I'm ready to go home."
"Alright, which exit are you heading to?" "To the south one. Will you come with me, please?" she pleaded with puppy eyes.
"I'm sure you can handle it," Altaïr waggled his hand, "It's not that far. I have other duties to do." "Well, you know…" Tami shyly flipped a hair behind her ear. "I usually go into town with someone from my family. It's my first time going into town by myself. But you're right, I can handle it."
Altaïr looked around the town square and noticed a group of templar guards. "You know what?" he changed his mind, "I'll walk you there if you're feeling unsafe." "I would love to," Tami smiled.
The two crossed the alley towards the south exit of the town. A quarter of an hour later they saw a savannah and a little further on a purple forest.
"So here we are," Tami said, "I can manage go on my own. Thank you again for your help. I'm obliged to you." "Take care," Altaïr nodded to her politely, "Safety and peace, Tami." He said goodbye and walked back into the narrow dark alley.
"Wait," Tami stopped him at the last moment. He gazed at her and listened to her. "Will I see you again?" she asked hopefully, "We could be friends."
"Don't rush it," Altaïr told monotonously. "Oh! Right," Tami blushed. Even though she knew a lot about him, on the other hand, he didn't know her well. Surely he was skeptical, since he didn't trust her yet.
"So just acquaintances for now, can be? Or alright, never mind! Perhaps next time we'll never meet-" "Well, we can be acquaintances," Altaïr accepted her proposal. "Really!?" her eyes brightened once again, startling him.
"Only one thing," he added, "You will not follow me whenever you see me around, but that's because I don't want to let the templars to hurt you. We can hang out in the market district, in the exact place where we met for the first time. I usually spend my time there observing the market when I'm not busy, alright?" "Alright!" Tami grinned.
"And another thing. If you're in danger, I'll try to help you any way I can. But best watch out for those guards next time, please." "I'll try my best!" Tami beamed happily, holding out her hand, "So, acquaintances?"
Altaïr gave her a handshake, "Acquaintances." Then they said goodbye, and Altaïr returned to the alley, where he faded into the shadows.
As Tami was heading home, her phone rang and she picked it up. "Tami!" Elphina called out worriedly, "Sorry I didn't pick you up cause I forgot my phone while I was gardening! Are you all right!?"
"Hey, Elphi. I'm alright," Tami responded, "I've been trying to call you because… You know what, sis? I'm just coming out of Gepardia. I'll tell you more at home. It's important…"
Tami headed into the forest as Altaïr watched her from a distance on the rooftop. A golden eagle flew in and landed on his shoulder. "Caukasa? What's happening to me?" he asked his eagle, who merely eyed him curiously. His voice sounded surprisingly gentle this time.
"Why am I acting like this? The last time I acted like this was only towards…" He didn't finish the sentence, instead he sighed. "Just stay safe, Tami… Please…" And eventually he returned to his duties as an assassin…

Crossover Universe/Altami – Nightmare
Summary: Altaïr had a terrifying nightmare and Tami comforts him. Trigger Warnings: Accusations of treason and death in a nightmare
I rewrote another old version which I wrote 3 years ago. I'll admit that somehow lately I've been feeling kind of emptiness in my spirit and I don't know what it is. But thankfully creating is saving me. <3
Enjoy! 💗
Darkness... Silence... None living soul…
Altaïr was standing in the void. "Hello?" Altaïr called out, no one answered. But soon he heard a familiar voice: "How could you?" Altaïr felt a chill run down his spine as he saw a person in front of him.
"A-Al Mualim?" stuttered the young assassin, "Master, I'll explain-" "Silence!" his disappointed master snapped at him, "You were my best student and you repaid me by running off with some woman and choosing your selfishness over your brotherhood!?" The old Mentor was furious, "For this I would execute you, boy!"
"You don't understand, master!" Altaïr argued, "Let me explain!" "To explain what?" Abbas spoke up, appearing behind Al Mualim, "How did you want to embarrass me in front of the whole brotherhood!?''
Several people that Altaïr knew came out of the void and pointed their fingers at him. "You broke all our tenets!" Malik shouted in anger, "Kadar is gone because of you! If it weren't for you, my brother would still be alive!"
Everyone called him a traitor, coward, weakling, selfish, fool… "Please, hear me out!" Altaïr tried to defend himself, but no one heard him. His sentences were drowned out by the insults and accusations of others.
"My son…" Another familiar voice that Altaïr hadn't heard since childhood came out of the void. He turned and saw a man whose body was holding his severed head in his arms. His robe was covered in blood. "Father…?" Altaïr asked in disbelief, freezing in horror.
"How could you betray your own brotherhood, my son?" Umar's head mourned, "You're supposed to be a loyal Master Assassin! Protect our creed! Everything we believe in!"
Altaïr tried to say something, but he grabbed his head, unable to bear the unpleasant words. He felt like he was going insane. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! For everything!" he apologized and decided to flee to the distant void, hoping he wasn't being chased.
Then Altaïr stopped to catch his breath when he could no longer hear voices. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and panted thinking what he had done.
"Altaïr…" he heard another voice, but this time a female one. He glanced up and saw a beautiful woman staring at him piteously.
"Adha?" he muttered in surprise. She looked exactly as he remembered. Her beauty had hypnotized him. He walked slowly towards her and held her hands.
"Adha…" he spoke again, tears streaming from his eyes, "I missed you so much… I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. I hope you will forgive me…"
"I can't forgive you, Altaïr," the young woman sadly shook her head, "We were never meant to be together. You should rather leave me and devote yourself to your duties as an assassin."
Adha yanked her hands from his grab, which broke Altaïr's heart. "No… Adha, no! Please!" He wanted to embrace her, but Adha vanished from his sight. "Adha! No! Please! Don't leave me!" he cried plaintively.
"Oh, how sad to lose someone forever…" a sarcastic voice spoke up that Altaïr did not wish to hear. He drew his sword and turned behind. His sorrow was immediately replaced by anger.
"Robert de Sablé…" growled the young assassin venomously. "So you left your brotherhood to live your miserable life without violence?" the tall templar laughed derisively, "I would call it cowardice."
"Your insults won't hurt me at all!" Altaïr hissed, ready to fight. "Well, true…" his nemesis scratched his chin viciously, "And that's why I have her!" Robert dragged someone from behind.
Altaïr's eyes widened, immediately recognizing the captive. "Tami!" the young assassin gasped in horror. "Altaïr! Help me!" Tami screamed helplessly, which it makes him heartache and rage at the same time. "Robert! Release her now!" the assassin commanded him, "This fight is between you and me only!"
Robert chuckled wickedly, "Fine. As you wish…" The templar pushed Tami toward Altaïr, but when Altaïr was about to catch his love in his arms, stabbing into the flesh was heard… Robert stabbed Tami into her back…
"NO! TAMI!" Altaïr shouted, catching her before she could fall to the ground. With a malicious laugh, Robert disappeared into the darkness.
Altaïr held Tami tightly, who was bleeding in his arms. "No, no, no, no! Tami! Tami! Please, forgive me!" Altaïr sobbed, "I should have protected you! And I failed again! It's all my fault!" His eyes became waterfalls of tears.
Tami just smiled weakly and kissed his lips. "Don't blame yourself, drahý," she breathed, "It's okay. I will always love you…" She closed her eyes and her soul left her body.
Altaïr broke down and mourned much more, "Tami! TAMI! NO! PLEASE! Your family and I need you! Please stay with me! Please… Please… Please…" And then both of them were gradually being swallowed up by the void…
Altaïr awoke in terror and sat up. He panted and placed his hand on sweat covered forehead. He looked around the room, realizing it was a dream or more like a nightmare. He looked to his left where Tami was sleeping peacefully in their bed.
Altaïr noticed that she was breathing and then he snuggled closer to her. He silently let out tears and stroked her curly hair from which Tami awoke.
"Altaïr?" she whispered tiredly, "What's wrong?" They both looked into each other's eyes, Tami was surprised to see him crying.
"Drahý? What happened?" she caressed his cheek and wiped away his tears. Altaïr placed his right palm on her cheek and gently rubbed it with his thumb.
"I'm sorry I woke you up, habibti," Altaïr apologized with a small smile that soon disappeared from his face, "I just had… a nightmare."
"You can tell me if you want to," Tami suggested, "It'll make you feel better." Altaïr kept gazing deeply into her beautiful brown eyes that always brought him joy and love.
"At first I dreamed that all the assassins and even my father considered me a traitor," he answered, "Then Adha never forgave me for my failure and Robert… He captured you and then he…" The assassin stuttered and closed his eyes tightly as the stinging tears began to form again.
"Oh, Alty…" Tami pitied him and hugged him, "Don't worry, habibi… Robert is dead. The brotherhood doesn't consider you a traitor. And Adha certainly didn't think you had let her down." "Well, there is something more about…" "About what?" "About you."
Altaïr pressed his lips to hers and kissed her passionately. Tami didn't hesitate and returned the kisses. He hugged her tighter and caressed her back. They were giving each other as much love and affection as they could.
"Ah!" Tami whimpered in pain. Altaïr immediately stopped and looked into her eyes with concern. "Did I hurt you, dear?" he asked worriedly, stroking her hair.
"Don't worry, it's not you," Tami giggled holding his wrist, "She just kicked a little bit harder."
Altaïr looked down and pushed the blanket. Tami was 30 weeks pregnant and in a few months she will give birth, supposedly it will be a girl. He rolled up her pajama shirt a bit to place his palm on the skin of her stomach and caress it gently. He felt a small movement of their future baby.
He pressed his face to the neck of his beloved and gently nibbled there. "I need to protect you and our little one," he purred, "If I lost one of you or worse both… I wouldn't survive it… What if you have complications during labor? Or-" "Shhhh…" Tami shushed him and kissed his forehead, "Relax, Altaïr… The doctors told us that I would be fine during the birth. And if something goes wrong, then it will be a caesarean delivery."
"And our daughter?" Altaïr asked for sure. "I'm sure she'll be fine too," Tami smiled sweetly and he was relieved.
Altaïr kept touching her belly and passionately kissing her face. "Alty!" Tami giggled from his tickling kisses, "Everything is and will be all right!"
Then he rested his forehead against hers and stared at her with affection. He is rarely vulnerable, he only shows it in front of his beloved.
"You're still haunted by those traumas, right?" Tami asked while caressing his cheek. He slightly nodded. "Drahý…" she continued, "I know it's hard for you, but it's in the past now. You just have to let it go and move on to a better future. Don't rush it, of course."
Altaïr's smile after a long time returned to his face and his nose nuzzled at hers. "Don't worry, habibti. It's not that bad lately," he whispered softly into her ear, "I just wish that our family will be happy and safe forever since we're finally married and soon to be parents."
"I understand," Tami smiled warmly, "I wish that for our family as well." Then she kissed his lips softly and he kissed her back. "Better, drahý?" "Yeah… Much better," he showed her a sleepy smile, "Let's go back to sleep, honey."
They both cuddled up to each other and slowly drifted back to sleep. "Tami?" Altaïr addressed her before sleeping. "Yes, sweetie?" "I want to thank you for loving me… Without you, I probably wouldn't be here anymore…"
She nuzzled closer to his face. "Oh, please… Don't say that…" "Seriously. You saved my life," he purred while petting her hair. "As you say so…" Tami whispered with a tired smile and yawned, "Good night, Alty."
Altaïr placed the last kiss on her forehead and caressed her belly. "Good night, Tami… I love you and our little Sabi so much, habibti…" "Love you both so much as well…" ♡
