Currently running these Tamagotchi’s 😊💕 ***Tama Rambles Ahead*** The Tamagotchi On has really gotten me back into these adorable little virtual pets, being able to play the game in English is so nice! Enjoying my first generation adult and in no particular hurry to marry her off yet, Nijifuwatchi is just too dang adorable! And I’m loving all the new features in the Meets/On too, including the pets, which you can marry to other pets as well, my Tama currently has this frickin cute Strawberry thing, and ugh the animation of her giving it a kiss on the cheek, so sweet! 😭🥰 The Sanrio Mix I bought in the original preorder in...2017? But by the time it arrived I’d already gotten out of playing with my Tamas and it sat in its box unopened until this week. The difference in quality between the Japanese Tama and this North American/English release is actually pretty striking. Not that the English one is terrible, but when you are able to handle them both you can definitely feel it. The Japanese Tama’s buttons are a lot more responsive, the sound quality is better, and this part is subtle but I feel the plastic quality/heft is denser and nicer? But honestly I didn’t notice anything “wrong” with my English Tama until I started up my Japanese Sanrio Tama and could directly compare. So if you want an English On to play it’s still a great little device and plenty enjoyable to play. How does this even cross someone's mind as a good idea. I feel like this should be common sense but I guess not??

This reminds me of a fun conversation that took place during my English class when one gal was talking about how she got a speeding ticket today and this one annoying guy reeeeally wanted us to know he was a pizza delivery guy cause he kept repeating it over and over LOUDER AND LOUDER but oh boy here's the fun thing he said that apparently pizza delivery guys can't get speeding tickets cause THEY GOTTA DELIVER THEIR PIZZA ON TIME its illegal for the police to give them speeding tickets.

Dude as awosemly amazing as pizza is I don't think that exempts you from obeying the speed limit I'm sure the customer will live if their pizza is a little cold. 

I don't even know where he got that idea from, but if there are more drivers like him on the road I fear for my life e_e

This weekend I started learning some simple Amigurumi so I could start adding animal ears to the Tamagotchi crochet covers I’m making. writing is amazing i’ve had three times in the past few days where i was in the middle of a bit and had a revelation after i wrote a thing that holy nayru the thing is such a good huge impact thing how did i not plan this

so it seems my solution to “i’ve relistened to this podcast too many times in a row that it sounds like mush now what” is “time to devour this new dnd podcast”

all-cleric party where they’re also all serving the same deity, except each pc has a wildly different interpretation/aspect of the deity they serve. mechanically this allows for different divine domain choices but more importantly the clerics are constantly arguing about whose idea of how best to carry out the deity’s wishes is most correct.

just realized that i infodump... to myself? like a lot?

there are so many times where i literally fantasize about being in a situation where someone asks me for information about a thing i like, except that’s not enough because then i always feel the need to spend 15(+?) minutes mentally going through and playing out exactly what i’d say to the person. sometimes multiple times in the same day with only slightly different explanations???

of course i take approximately 100 years to finish anything due to a combination of the fact that a) I’m a slow writer, b) I’m a mediocre writer, c) I get distracted horribly easily, and d) procrastination/motivation issues with my mental health being all blegh

me now: *comes up with two oneshot ideas while attempting to write the second part of a twp-chapter fic, is in the middle of a story that’s already 10 chapters, and has been working on a short thing in the universe of one of many original ideas for the past week”

What’s really going to be fun is when we get to a different setting/cast/etc and someone’s going to have to come up with names for the discrete campaigns b/c while ‘the adventure zone’ works as a catchall title now, we’re going to need a subtitle sooner or later.

My reactions to things seem to mostly consist of repeating lines from things/recapping events. Oops.

(although I guess it’s really me going “you know that thing that happened? I liked that thing.” so somewhat constructive.)
