shadowclan — year five — leafbare

tallpoppy, cressbreeze, and darkflower all die. probably hunger combine with greencough. blackstar appoints stumpytail as his next deputy.

talonsun catches greencough and is unable to shake it (developing pneumonia). he moves into the elders' den unless he recovers.

snowbird becomes a warrior, and nightpaw is apprenticed to rowanclaw.

tawnypelt and rowanclaw have another litter, sharpkit, silverkit, and spotkit.

anyway.

tangleburr has another litter, with a singular kit, snowkit. applepaw is apprenticed to brownthorn.

and then.

okayy so shadowclan has a tree fall in their camp. it kills ashpelt and heartkit, and injures sequoiaice, causing head trauma and brain injury. sequoiaice struggles with gross motor control, so he retires.

afterwards, talonsun is made a warrior.
