She thinks she's not pretty because Rarity got rid of her insecurity! She's evil because Rarity kept everything good in herself! And Tall Rarity is scared because Rarity got rid of her fear, but kept her confidence!

Tallcat is LITERALLY everything Rarity isn't, and the Fairy Godmothers only taught her bad things, because they thought she was a doll!

Trainspotting - bit weird for a comfort movie indeed but it's my favorite one, which I watch at least once a year (despite not being a rewatch person). The ending and the energetic pacing IMO is particularly comforting, really prompting viewers to sit up and do something of their lives even when they feel low.

Tour de Pharmacy - technically not a film (it's a TV special) but another yearly rewatch. it has cycling, Andy Samberg, Freddie Highmore, stoner humor, huge queer subplots, Will Forte pretending to be French, and Nathan Fiedler as the head of the USADA. do I need to tell more?

La Cité de la Peur - as a massive fan of Les Nuls since childhood, I adore their zany humor and plethora of pop culture references and finely crafted punchlines. It's always certain to make me crack up two or three laughs.

Little Miss Sunshine - one of my fave movies ever, the actors all look like they're having the time of their lives on set. Love these kinds of indie comedies that showcase quirky, yet very believable characters.

Human Traffic - aka the ultimate movie to watch with friends. The soundtrack is awesome, the characters are so relatable, and the humor is top-notch.

Astérix: Mission Cléopâtre - for the same reasons as La Cité de la Peur above (the same team is behind)

Kajillionaire - because this ranking needed more feel-good sapphic movies!

Show Me Love (Fucking Amal) - for the same reasons as Kajilionaire above, plus there are these late 90s vibes that I adore.

Moonrise Kingdom - Wes Anderson at his finest tbh, this truly is a movie shot from the point of view of misfit kids that you can relate to at any age.

Wallace & Gromit & the Curse of the Were-Rabbit - In general I tend to rewatch stuff from Aardman Studios when I'm not doing well. I've been obsessed with stop-motion animation since I was a young child, and I admit that I'm a massive teaboo, so...

Got this one already but there are so many good NPCs and I want to know them all! I'll say Judy is next on my list for writing. She'll always be the wife of my heart.

🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?

There are actually two more pieces I want to write to go with Triangles: another Mitch/Scorp/Fem Corpo V part though I haven't figured out yet where to squeeze it into canon; and Mitch/Fem V, post "I'll Fly Away" where V helps Mitch with grieving. (Yeah, it's also smut. I know what I like.)

oh absolutely always do every year. i guess i partially regret not staying at my job and not continuing therapy
