Hi my name is Kaladin Stormblessed Kholin and I have really good luck because the storms blessed me (that's how I got my name) and I have long black hair that reaches my shoulders and covers my eyes and dark brown eyes like every darkeyes and a lot of people tell me I look like Talenelat'Elin (AN: if u don't know who he is get da hell out of here). I'm not related to Adolin Kholin but I wish I was because he's a major fucking hottie. I'm a darkeyes but my eyes are blue and glowing. I have tan brown skin. I'm also a Knight Radiant, and I live in a magic tower in the mountains in Roshar where I'm a doctor (I'm twenty). I'm a soldier (in case you couldn't tell) and I wear mostly blue. I love Alethkar and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a white shirt under a blue coat with silver embroidery, black pants, and black boots. I was walking on Urithiru. A lot of lighteyes stared at me. I put my middle finger up at them.

I'm actually doing abysmally at taking any sort of notes - ie not doing it at all - but hey, I realized that spheres keep stormlight better if they're cut because cutting gems is a sort of cultivation! Also of note: a man in Kaladin's first bridge run, who promptly died, swore, "Talenelat'Elin, bearer of all agonies" - an indication that some legend remains somewhere that he's the only Herald left in torment? Sanderson doesn't choose names to swear by at random.

The way Radiants' Oaths work really speaks of both Honor and Cultivation, now that I think about it. Oaths for Honor, and the increasing of them, the honing of ideal and purpose, for cultivation.

I wonder if the safehand/freehand thing is going to turn out to be mythology-based as well. I don't see how, but it's an interesting custom to have developed for no real purpose than tradition. Not that such things don't happen, and Sanderson is worldbuilder enough to know that...but he's also a sneaky bastard who seeds hints EVERYWHERE.

idk where we were but it wasn't Alethkar or anywhere vorin bc no one had their safehand covered. I had somehow ended up there but I really was from Earth so Sigzil taught me how to survive there and I kept asking him to tell me about Talenelat'elin because if I can swoon over both my men at once i will lol (I was aware this was not a vorin place because when I used that name for Taln I thought wait why did I use his vorin name here? Am I even supposed to know his vorin name?)
