Ok so you guys remember Poltergeist, right? The pet cat Toast killed by accident?

I think they were once a stray that jumped into the car's open window while they were at a red light and that one action made Ghost want to keep them and were one of those cats who'd meow at you like they were telling you off when you got home. As soon as they heard the door rattle its "meeeeooowwww meeowww meeeowww 3:<" and alot of rubbing against legs

Also Ghost absolutely doted on the kitty. He absolutely used baby talk on Poltergeist and gave them kisses on the forehead.

This is extra that I thought up for the "Ghost cat magnet" anon ask I sent

Ghost ends up adopting one of the cats (Poltergeist) and Toast and Polt having a "Dad doesn't want pet cat. Ends up loving it within a week"

At first he's like "Johnny, you listen to me: We Don't Have The Budget For A Cat" then after a few days Ghost catches him asleep with Poltergeist purring on his chest

I figured I’d combine the two asks since I have similar answers for them!

I think it’s incredibly cute for Ghost to have an affinity toward animals! Especially cats. Cats are seen as the loners of house pets and Ghost is the loner of the PIE team and seeing them combine is absolutely adorable. Toast being the practical one up until the cat melts his heart is adorable, too.

To yes and your hc a bit, imagine that Toast was worried about adopting poltergeist because he was worried that the whole werewolf thing, even if he was cured, would screw him over. So poltergeist accepting him basically broke his brain and continues to break his brain All The Time.

Honestly I would take a PIE spin-off that’s just. The pets of PIE. It doesn’t even have to be the pets being badass, I’d be perfectly satisfied with a slice-of-life just following the pets of PIE.

Does call into question what pet would represent spooker and colon if any. Or casket 👀

Toast: Well, I can confirm he isnt some sort of horrible cat-kicker. I've seen him taking care of her, feeding her and such. I don't think Poltergeist likes Jimmy, though. She can sense that something's wrong with him; which isn't surprising, animals tend to have keen paranormal detection abilities.
