Okay so, gather up everyone. Schools started, I suddenly have to study and memorize two latin texts within a few days, history, and ancient Greek philosophy analyses and translations. Not fun, kinda! I don't have as much time as I did during summer and I can't finish a full drawing within a day. *But* ideas are as vivid as ever. And honestly I really want to do some of the stuff I'm imagining. Some are already in the works !!! These are mostly gabbro/time buddies related. Sorry fans of other characters but I spent the entire summer only drawing slate </3

Sooo... What to expect from me? Well:

• I'm writing a short fic! Which is close to being done- Without saying much- a replay of certain memories before the eventual death/creation of everything.

• I am currently doing an OC piece with two owlks ::D this should probably be next post if I finish it soon!

• More short animatics. Cus I have... So many songs... That I want to draw with the time buddies. Short ranging from a couple of seconds, to maybe a minute, so don't expect much. All I'll say is- guhhh y'all better enjoy flower face because all of these are with her songs lmfao..

These have a priority list ofc, but the way I work is pretty much spontaneous. So whatever I'm up for will take priority. It'll take time but I hope to have finished all of these within the next couple of months. We'll see how things go... I also have to balance other things and art in-between so blehhh. It's a mess.

Please? All I've found so far is what we see in the donnieverse comic and the MVA/AMV (music video animatic/animatic music video). So many questions, like - is Casey (Sr) involved in any way, whethercas a fellow captive or rescue mission teammate? Is this the True Apocalypse or Averted Apocalypse timeline? If the latter, where is Casey (Jr)? How is Splinter handling it? (Is he even still alive to be Having Emotions About It?)

Thank you!! I'm glad you like it : ) I don't think I've answered many asked about this particular au, so i'm more than willing to talk about it! : )

I don't really have much up for it, mostly b/c it deals with a lot of angsty material that i can be a little uneasy about posting. I have a bit of old concept art, and an unposted fic i'm editing/rewriting (b/c it's the first fic i wrote for Rise and i did not have those character voices down lol.) I can probably post the first bits of it later this week. I did say at one point that i would once 'proud family tradition' was over, and it now is.

but yeah, here's the concept art, i'll put the explanation under the break b/c i'm going to be rambling lol.

So Donnie vs. takes place after the thwarted apocalypse (not-apocalypse future). They get taken by Bishop a few months afterwards, and it isn't until about a year after that, that Donnie gets free.

He's the last one still with Bishop at that point, and had been told/convinced through various means that his brothers were dead.

Bishop did a lot of experiments on him, leaving a lot of scaring. One of which was injecting him with Krang DNA to see what would happen. (the eye and veins thing. I think he has some side effects from that but i'm not entirely certain what they are atm)

The fic itself starts after his rescue, b/c i'm focusing on Donnie's search for his brothers (and his own recovery) Rather than the traumatic event itself.

The rescue itself, was certainly a rescue. April, Casey, and CJ worked together to get him out of there as well as gain whatever information they could before they were found out. (Casey went undercover and was able to get some incomplete files and help get donnie out before she was discovered and had to leave.)

donnies in...pretty bad shape at that point, mentally and physically. Physically, he's malnurished, injured, scared, the works. Bishop did a number on him in the year he had him.

Mentally, he's pretty much shut down. He's completely non-verbal, unresponsive most of the time, when he does respond it's very slow and seemingly difficult for him to do so. He describes it that it feels like he's behind several plates of thick glass. He can see and hear what's happening, interacting (or even just feeling anything about it) is very hard to get past the glass.

How he goes from that state to hunting down his brothers is fairly simple. One of the broken, encripted files Casey acquired was Leo's file. None of the three could open it, but they managed to get Donnie to try to do so. He manages it, sees the file, and for the first time in about a year, has hope. He doesn't even wait to show the other three, he just takes off while no one was looking, with April's laptop and CJ's coat (he steals a backpack along the way.)

I don't really want to say much past that. A lot of the rescues/reunions are pretty spoiler heavy, and i don't want to ruin some of the mystery of what's going on in the fic. But know this, he does get all his brothers (and family in general) back. Also, splinter is alive and is part of this, but again, that's spoilers for some things i don't want to ruin.

Again, i'll probably start posting this sometime this week. It's an interesting fic that i've put quite a bit of time into at this point, so i'll be excited to see what is thought of it.

Some little details from animatic ehe-he

Okay, um, he-he, I think this time I really will take a break from "big works", my brain is drained and... welp, I need to sleep at nights at least. Will do only silly doodles, I so much wanna draw comfort with Casey and I miss big full colored works with background... But before, I wanna point out some little details from last animatic for better understanding eheh 1) Mikey aged throughout the process

2) Hamato clan did help (including Splinter). Splinter showed Mikey where to find Raph, but didn't tell him no more. Splinter and Mikey (among brothers) are the only ones who don't need to say something to each other. They understand. Karai helped to get through the "door" that Mikey couldn't get through.

3) Splinter reminded Donnie of that day and their dialogue. Donnie remembers it perfectly. Splinter pointed at the scarf he gifted to Leo (through Donnie) before passing away.

4) I didn't show a lot of what kind of relationship Cassandra and April really had (I just slightly showed a little in some old sketches. Just like brothers, they had their own "night before that day" sleepover, that's why Casey didn't kill them for taking Casey Junior) But they were the ones raising Casey first two years and they lived in one room to make it easier. (it's hard for Mikey and April stay in their rooms because they lived with the ones they loved and lost)

5) All Raph pieces show who he loves. But when Mikey looks at his pieces, Raph is reflected in his eyes.

6) Raph is so little because he was shattered in hundreds pieces and lots of them just lost or couldn't reunite (his previous alive body is... well... that's why the only way to return Raph was to get him robot body) and Mikey finally had a real smile without pain when he found him (and kept smiling till the end of animatic)

7) Last time he waited 3 months before their reunition. This time it was 1 year.

sure thing! i don't develop it much right now but i am really glad you took interest in an old project!

the au is essentially P03 took his charicatures. ocs. uberbot personality matricies and built them bodies to help out around the factory. it was very self indulgent. i also made an au of an au relating to the old data with them (which was slightly implied in that animatic but not a lot)

curator/the archivist

as the title implies. manages the archives. has a lot of busywork and responsibility. the archives is a big room where everything is represented by a file. it's a computer library in physical form

all the responsibility makes them seem like the most calm/patient and.. kinda? it's more that they are good at hiding when they are frustrated. already has a pretty big managerial role with the librarians so will check in on everyone else's work

collects things from the internet, works closely with curator. the glowy bits are projections, including the arm (where the crank would be... opposies w/ p03. it doesn't work btw). the wheel is optional and she can extend it back to float but doesn't because that's less fun. i forgot exactly where the scratch came from?

she has the vibe of p03's younger teenage sister (it did this to himself) and is very whimsical. she doesn't really bother him that much, more afraid of upsetting him than anything. more often bothers the other bots with random things she finds

kodak/the photographer

manages the factory's security system. all of the cameras are his eyes he can tab between. he is also part furnace and can run on biofuel. likes to leave the factory from time to time to go on walks. he cannot float like the first two but walks around on tripod legs

prefers to keep to himself most of the time. he does his job and then takes his breaks walking around in the projector woods. wants to go to the real woods some day but that requires either crossing an ocean or everyone seeing you and how you're clearly not supposed to be there

sketch/unfinished

robot project that p03 started but never finished. it did have an intended job but i honestly forgot. mute/blind unless given a face by someone else. i remembered wanting to redesign it but as it exists now, the cables attach to the ceiling and there's only designated spots it can run around. body is pretty frail (compared to the other bots. it's still metal) so the others are careful

acts animalistic and strange until given a face. then mirrors the personality of whoever it can follow around. it slowly learns over time and one day will have its own personality

the au with the old data i mentioned has to do with my oc k. who is the old data that got pissed p03 backed out of uploading it to the internet so took him over to do it themselves. took over during the unfinished boss fight (in this au not like the actual uberbots themselves did the game thing. since p03 wanted to do that himself) but the takeover was known and alerted for. the exact details of this version of the au are lost on me but here is k as p03

and k as k once they lost (because they were still stopped) and became a permanent addition to inscryption world because they couldn't lose the consciousness she gave himself after possessing a sentient character (yay newer art)

Hey yall!!! quick update

Hallo everyone!!! In case you missed my update on Tikok/Instagram, i will be taking a break from making content as i have completed transitioning content from my Tiktok account to Instagram. I now have a steady schedule and will be re-learning Vietnamese and training for the broad street run (gets me back into working out daily instead of every other day) which will be eating up most of my free-time during after-work hours.

Future content will have more animation aspects and speed paints instead of still-image animatics so content will be seldom as animation takes much more effort and time to create. I will also be cleaning up my accounts and archiving my edgy trauma dumping content now that i have finally achieved a state of peace and would like to keep my funnier/happier experiences instead! I will be active in here but more for hosting video game or doodle collaboration time. I am also hoping to open up commission slots after I figure out the pricing. Thank you all for the support and patience! I look forward to giving y'all better quality content in the near future!

While I am taking a pause on content creating, I figured I will start cycling in my content into here as well as Bluesky during this break period. I have also uploaded a few shorts to Youtube, but I don't know how long that will last as Youtube's copyright rules are very strict and iffy and will need to figure out how to not get a strike on my channel for my Tiktok reposts.

✨️lil updates on life and how it might impact my silly doodles in a few weeks✨️

(This writing is probably a mess, since I'm doing it like 4am 🤡)

I have been taking a break from the sdv animatic that I started in Aug. I would still love to continue working on it. However, my life is going to be a bit hectic in the foreseeable future with me moving across the country and cutting ties with my family in a few weeks.

This has been taking a huge toll on my mental health. (Especially the later one cuz yikes my brain is acting up again 😬) (dw I got supports I will be ok and it is for the better)

This also means i have no idea how often I will be able to post my silly doodles during that period of time. I still have couple wips that I am still working on before anything happens anyway.

But yeah, that is pretty much it. Thank you for reading my little update. ❤️

Alright, ALRIGHT, I’VE ALMOST GOT IT DANGIT I ALMOST *HAVE* IT. So everyone analyzing the edgy Noe animation bust out our notepads and cork boards because I have INFO TO SHARE.

Okay, so, we’ve already got the first captive of Noe established: Dialga, the Temporal Pokemon.

The next captive is hard AF to freaking see, but if you zoom in enough you see the anti-matter space worm snake dragon thing known as Giritina, the Remegade Pokemon

So Noe captures both the god of controlling Time and the personification of antimatter, two of the 3 creation trio.

As for the one he is facing…let me just say…the lack of images of legendary pokémons’ backs made this borderline maddening because I STILL CANNOT SAY FOR CERTAIN, **BUT** I believe the one whom Noe wishes to be is actually the space Barney known as Palkia, the Spatial Pokemon.

I ONLY GOT A SIDE VIEW BUT I THINK ITS CLOSE OKAY? It’s not Meau, that’s for sure, and I really don’t think it’s Arceus based on the head shape but it might just be a perspective issue.

Now, the only powers we’ve seen know use are appearing from the shadows and duplicating items (berries and tea), and we know he deals with “errors” (which could mean a lot of things physics-wise) but not ghosts (which are incorporeal and thus lack matter). So, despite their appearance, they may be more connected to Palkia than we may have been lead to believe.

Palkia is known to have powers to warp space, travel to faraway places or other dimensions, connect dimensions through dimensional portals, DESTROY SPACE ITSELF, and even be able create a new universe BY ITSELF or with Dialga. And, unlike a glitchy Noe, it is said that space becomes MORE STABLE with Palkia's every breath.

The implications this holds are wild and not fully understood. Was their role originally like Palkia’s but something went wrong? Did Giritina create Meau as an attempt to make something like Palkia and/or Meau to create and later populate its own universe with its own kind of pokemon but something went terribly wrong? It’s very hard, and might even be too early to say what the source of this identity crisis is for Noe, especially since he isn’t directing it at Meau, but what do y’all think?

Why did Noe need to take control of time and antimatter? Why Palkia? Where’s Arceus when his kids are fighting like this? I know the truth will be revealed eventually, but I love playing around with the ideas for what it may be.

Noe is indeed holding Dialga on his left and Giratina on his right, while facing down Palkia. Why he is doing it, what he wants from Palkia, what his motivations are, what brought him to this point, where Arceus is, where Meau is, and everything else about this situation will be revealed in Noe’s eventual origin arc! But both you and @givemeuniversalcrossovers guess this correctly! With @mel-the-pirate breaking down that first gate with the Dialga guess! Good job you three ;0! Also everyone else who sent in theories, ya’ll each got tidbits here and there correct, genuinely impressed by it!

Given I purposely doodled that animatic to be misleading as all heck, round of applause and head pats to everyone ;D! As I get closer to moving I’ll probably slow down a lot on the story till everything’s sorted, but we’ll be spending some quality time with Mewtwo and the mews for a bit! Then once I’ve established everything I wanted too, we’ll move on to Noe’s arc and ya’ll will finally get your answers! But I’ll still drop lil animatics of him here and there to feed the flames, as well as continue to sprinkle hints throughout. A lot of Noe’s arc is being sketched on and worked on alongside the current story as otherwise it’d take forever to actually get out lol

20. how often do you get art block?

all the time 🥰 it's like clockwork lol sometimes i get sooo frustrated and cranky bc i hate all my art and i'm like "woe is me!! i've lost all my skills!! i'll never draw again!!" and then i'm like wait . i know what's happening here. i just gotta wait it out I'll be fine lol. it's nice that i also write bc then i can switch to writing for a while until the art block clears up 👍 i've found it's best for me to just take a break from drawing for a bit and not try to force it so my brain can like reset itself

oh man there are so many!!!! i could name like 100 people lol but i'm gonna limit myself to the ones i think have had the most direct influence on my art style. hope u guys don't mind the tags<3

@ileniagennari was one of the first artists i latched onto stylewise. i used to study their work a lot because i am obsessed with the fluidity and softness of their linework and i just really like how they draw faces and bodies. their rendering is also amazing and feels sort of cinematic somehow? i've always wished my art could have a similar feel!

@anna-scribbles has also been a huge style influence for me and she's just also been a big inspiration in general as a close friend<3 i ADORE her work and have studied it specifically a ton. she draws the most blorby blorbos ever. blorbyness is her art trademark imo. and i want that for me too so i tried to steal it. i also think just sheer proximity to her and her art has made me pick up a lot of things from her automatically haha. in particular, i feel like the way she draws smiles is so perfect, and i always try to channel her when i draw smiles myself haha

@ladybeug inspires me so much and has taught me really valuable art skills! a while ago i came to a point in my art journey when i felt just really stuck and frustrated. like i could not for the life of me just DOODLE. i took everything too seriously, even if it was supposed to be simple and silly. i really needed to learn how to loosen up and enjoy drawing more. stephanie is like the most esteemed and delightful doodler i know so i came to her for advice and she DELIVERED. she gave me super helpful tips and invited me to make daily comics with her and it's been lifechanging! it's helped me focus on communication over perfection and feel more confident in my art, which i think had a visible difference in my style too. i learn SO much from just regularly enjoying stephanie's work, including her webcomic @datmcomic!!

@rileyclaw is a good buddy of mine and his work is so hugely inspiring to me! it's really educational to see his wips and learn from his process. and since he's an incredible animator as well as an illustrator, enjoying his work is part of what inspired me to finally take a leap and make my first animatic. i really love how he pushes/exaggerates body and facial expression to communicate emotion and how he makes such careful choices about comp and color and just Everything to tell a whole story with every piece of his art. i've learned a lot from riley on the storytelling aspects of art and that's something i continue to try to build on!

@knockknockknockingonhootysdoor's art is like an instant and intense shot of dopamine to my brain every time!!! i cant even tell you how HAPPY it makes me. i just stare at it and eat it all up and i'm always asking myself HOW does he do it?? how does he make me feel this way. and i think it's just like....how genuine it is?? i can just feel kryan's love for the story and characters in the way he draws and im not sure that is a stealable quality lol. but in particular something i really admire about his art is how SHAPE it is. i love how he builds each character with different shapes and how each design feels so unique and so fitting for them. i am trying to incorporate that more into my own art!

man i already have rambled so much and there are so many other artists i could go on and on about alskjdfjkla ok just real quick i have to shout out @picayunearts bc i intensely enjoy her work in both the ml and toh fandoms and her coloring and use of light and gradient always stands out to me so i kinda try to channel that sometimes! @smallpapers is another fav and i love how soft and simple her art feels! it's always inspiring to me. @raystel's work also inspires me a lot, whether it's fanwork or original stuff. she is so creative with character design and seeing the way she expresses her ideas in art is so cool!

and i would be remiss if i didn't shout out my sister @mozzys-studio who is the first person i came to when i wanted to learn how to draw and she taught me a lot! her art is beautiful<3

Work in progress for the animatic (Part 1)

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I last touched this blog since I had to focus on the 3D module. So far, I'm mainly done with one environment and have struggled with it. I'm only halfway done with the modeling for the 2nd environment, but I want to take a quick break from 3D to focus on the drawings for this module.

Today, I plan to start on some doodles for the scrapbook background in my Dutch hospital animatic. I will be using most of the references from the images I had taken from my last two visits to the building. For some of the historical reference stuff, I will have to download some references from the internet.

Geats brainrot: 1 and 3 are from vocaloid songs; 2 is (distruction) Tsumuri and Ace made based only from the episode preview; 4 is because this last part of the series is very close to the prediction of the ending I made near the start, but with a different aesthetic; 5 I think they should play other games than fortnite /j (kirby, animal crossing, sky cotl); 6 (only the bottom half) is from the Lamentation arc, I wanna draw bubbles; 7 is one of the OOO crossovers, and an headcanon for Keiwa; 8 is Jamaity Buffa from the episode preview that I still want to go back to

ExAid brainrot, with a lot of Kiriya: 1 is various Kiriya forms from his various deaths; 2 this is from Tricks Lazer, they're in a RPG; 3 Kokoro Parad bc yes; 4 ....this requires me to learn a whole new skill I'll be back when I have time to learn it. Longish artist/writer rant/vent aimed at my ADHD under the cut bc I needed to get this off my chest-

Rip to every idea I have that my brain demands I make a reality when in the past year I've maybe managed to doodle something at least once a week and maybe managed write something to posting levels of completion once every full moon

Like. If I had it my way I would have whole chapter updates for at least three different major fics each week, and it would rotate between nine major fics each week at least, and be posting one-shots for random one off ideas whenever they came to me.

I spend so much time thinking up of tons of au ideas because i genuinely enjoy them and doing it, and it hurts so much that I am unable to keep up with my creativity no matter how much I want to. Im well aware of burn out, and thr fact that that kind of schedule is pretty unattainable and would result in burn out, but like.

If I could just pick up a fic/chapter that Ive planned out(because ive got a list, and tons of different notes for ideas I want to create but just can't manage to slow down enough to keep focusing on it) and once a week write even just a paragraph, heck, a sentence, or finish a small silly art piece or a doodle, I'd be doing better than I am right now.

This frustration isnt even born from the aspect of 'gotta keep creating content for approval' thing that it usually is, either.

Its a genuine frustration born from the inability to just get my stupidly scattered brain back together. Creating these things, writing them out, drawing them out, I have so many ideas that I want to explore even just for myself to enjoy!

Im pretty sure my brain wouldn't give me countless au prompts, fic ideas, drawing plans, and animatic ideas rent-free every week if I didnt genuinely enjoy exploring it.

I know that I'm not gonna get to explore every idea, but the fact that I have a good number started already that still cling happily to my brain even if its been literal months or even a year since I've posted about them, the fact that they and so many others are so present in my brain and let me get as far and writing the ideas down or getting to the sketch phase, and then whatever it is in my brain that kept nagging me to writing out for the happy chemicals and excitement of sharing it as well as just having physical existance and evidence of an idea that I worked hard on, something that I'm proud of and just.

Like a whisp ungraspable of smoke, that energy or motivation is gone?

And even tho its gone my brain is still screaming at me to continue it, we still want to work on it, we still have so much left undone, we cant stop now! But we cant.

Its like opening a door long enough to feel the breeze or wave at a dog passing by, but trying to open the door all the way to follow and explore only triggers the door to shut tight.

Its like trying to figure out how to get to the other side of a very tall wall. We know that we cant reach the other side of the wall, we have in the past, but sometimes it only makes it grow higher. We know how to do it, to get through the wall, but we know that it takes time and effort and a very specific amount of work to break down the wall, and we know that trying to do tedious tasks that are boring to our brain like that simply creates another wall. Sometimes we're lucky, and we can climb the wall with a burst of energy and ride that energy for all its worth to get to the other side, but then it leaves us exhausted, and climbing the wall will not be an option again for a time.

Its a frustration born from the fact that I know whats wrong with my brain, I do, Ive spent so much of my life with adhd, depression, and anxiety, I've had to learn whats wrong because thats the only way to know how to tackle the issues that they bring.

Its the frustration that despite knowing whats wrong, I still cant make myself face the wall like I know I should. Knowing about it doesnt stop the issue, using effort to adress it does.

And that's where I am. Stuck inside our head, with a creativity in constant flux, and more often than not inability to pick up a pencil to draw, or pull up a keyboard and write. Staring at the wall in our head with the familiarity of being lifelong acquaintances.

Jack’s Lament!!

With this, I’ll be taking a bit of time off from the blog to work on the animatic to make it the best I can! About 2-3 weeks (From 7/20/19 to about 8/10/19! Or to only 8/3/19 if I’m lucky!) But that’s not all! I’ll still be updating this blog, as to not leave you with radio silence, showing off wips for the animatic, some sketches or doodles I made for breaks or warmups, finishing up the last of the expression prompts, and a little extra surprise I’ve been working on for you all! ;3c

Again, apologies for the lull in between answering asks and story. It’s good for me to take these breaks for the sake of my health and motivation, and so I can make the best work I can for you guys! So I found your Cool Kids animatic and now I'm physically incapable of listening to the song without watching the video (I didn't know the song in the first place but it's a true bop so I've watched the video like half a dozen times). Because it's so good! Like, the way in the beginning where everyone's there and then it fades to just Virgil, and you mirror it later on with everyone there and then Virgil fades out; lovely. And then everyone's appearing again, and you can seen Virgil's (1/5)

expression darken as he's overshadowed by the others; super cool. And (the whole video, but especially this part) where the grey heart breaks and bounces to Virgil's feet; really smooth animating? Love it. And Virgil's hurt expression when he tries to express his feelings and is told no; amazing work but I'm so sad for him :( And right after it, everyone else's expressions: Thomas and Patton both look kind of disapprovingly sad, and Logan and Roman both look disdainful and annoyed and it's (2/5)

a good detail about their personalities! In the chorus, when everyone pops up and then looks at Virgil; you NAILED the shock/slight embarrassment/hiding it by scowling and looking away. And the montage with the 5 of them posing; beautiful. and then he goes from grey to black and you can see him mostly b/c of his silhouette and then he goes completely black; it's subtle and it's so cool. And then Patton notices and you RECOGNIZABLY LIPSYNCED the lyrics I'm so impressed! ~minor detail but (3/5)

Roman's mouth taking up half his face while Virgil runs away is amazing~ And then they all go after him when he locks himself in his room; superb. And Virgil's face! Surprised and tearstreaked and adorable! When he realizes they've all come after him! LOVE it. And Patton hugs him and he starts to turn purple and the background's gone white instead of the black; all awesome. And then everyone giving him their love!! And all the little doodles are so in character for them! FABULOUS!! And (4/5)

Virgil turns all the way purple b/c he's been accepted; incredible. (And now they all make a rainbow :D ) And Virgil's little smile and him walking with the others while for the rest of the vid they were all walking without him; stunning. It's a phenomenal video and I love it and you did a fantabulous job thank you so much for sharing it ( ˘ ³˘)♥ ( ˘ ³˘)♥ (5/5)
